Chapter 37: Doubts of the Future
The sun was setting as Helen Wheeles walked through a graveyard, shhe had with her a bouquet of flowers in her hands. Soon she reached a spersific grave, looking down with a sad look in her eyes but a small smile on her face
"Hey Pierce. I wanted to come by a visit." She smiled as she placed the fowers on his grave "You remember Ben right? Of course you do. I've become part of a large happy family. It's funny really. He's actually got other girls and a few kids." She looked up, her blue umbrella stopping the rain from touching her "Now I know you'd get all angry and defencive, but I am more than happy." The Plumber's heart fluttered the more she thought "He cares about all of us and doesn't play favorites. And both of his kids, Krystal and James, are amazing." She had to giggle at the thought of her family "I really enjoy the other girls cause none of them treat each other as equals. And we all get along great. We're good friends and I've come to love a few of them like Ben." All of them meant to much to her now "I just wish you were here to see it." she looked down with tears in her eyes. She got onto her knees and kissed the tombstone "I love you bro." She stood up and wiped away her tears before she turned to leave.
As she was about to run, she could almost hear Pierce whisper "Good luck sis." Into her ear
Helej smiled widly before zooming back to the house.
*back at the house*
Helen made it there and saw Charmcaster, Looma, Attea, and Eighteight playing cards "Hey girl's." She waved taking her rain coat off
"Hey Helen." waved EightEight.
"What's up?" Helen asked
"Playing poker to pass the time." spoke Attea.
"Ah, I see." Helen nodded "Where's Ben, Isis, Fifi and the others?"
"They went to the store to get some food. Selene's started to have cravings." Charmcaster explained
"Huh." Helen nodded "And the kids?"
"They are progressing in their training." spoke Looma.
Helen nodded, then notecing the stuff on the table and who was winning "Wow... you guys are gonna do THIS again?" She asked "EightEight ia going to win."
"Not today." spoke Attea.
"Oh yea?" Helen chuckled
That's when EightEight showed her hand "Royal straight flush." She grinned making the other three girls groaned at losing.
"Told you so." Helen grinned in victory
*meanwhile, at the store*
Ben smiled as he walked behind the now five month pregnant Isis and Selene, Selene had started getting cravings and needed to stock up on food. "So what do we need?" Ben asked
Gwen brought out a very long list "We need..." she began, reading off the list that Ben mostly tuned out
"I get it. A lot of stuff." Ben groaned making Gwen glare hi!, huffing in annoyance. Ben sighed, knowing he messed up a bit "Sorry Gwen, I didn't mean that." Ben apollogised, hugging her
Gwen smiled and returned it the hug "Fine." She muttered as they pulled back and resumed shopping.
Ben looked at Selene and Isis and let his mind wonder, thinking of Selene and Isis' kids 'I wonder if I we should scan them?' He thought 'I mean, Selene is showing but Isis...' He looked down at his feet in worry 'She isn't really showing... and our species are very different... w... what if the baby can't live? It died just TRYING to exsist? What... what if it's still-born?'
"Ben? Are you ok?" Isis asked in worry
"Y... Yea!" He nodded, being broken from his thoughts
"Than why are you looking stressed?"
"It... It's nothing." Ben muttered
"Ben?" Isis crossed her arms.
"Yes?" He asked nervously, knowing he's in trouble
"Tell me, what's wrong?"
"I... I'm worries about the baby." Ben sighed, feeling defeated
"Why?" Selene asked
"Well... our species are so different." Ben admited
"So?" Fifi wondered
"... what id the baby dosen't make it?" Ben sighed
Gwen shook her head., smiling "Ben, the baby is fine." She reassured
"Huh?" Ben muttered in confusion
"I did a scan of her and Selene. The babies are perfectly fine." Gwen smiled
"Really?" Ben asked hopfully
"Yup." She nodded
Ben happily hugged Isis and Selene, holding back a few tears, with Fifi and Gwen smiling "Easy there. We still need to get roast beef with peanut butter." grinned Selene licking her lips.
"... oh yea, your cravings." Ben chuckled
Soon they resumed picking up the food.
*meanwhile with Squad Omni*
Squad Omni where training in the Plumber's HQ against a hord of automated robots, and winning fairly easily
Rook ducked and hit the robot with a swift right hook as James jumped off Rook's shoulder and came down as SuperSonic, firing a massive sonic blast that destroyed the robot. Meanwhile Amazon smashed two more with her strength as Shar skidded between the female Tetramand's legs, blasting it rappidly. Soon the last robots were destroyed.
"Wow, that was easy." James chuckled
"That is true." Rook nodded
Amazon reverted to her human form, smiling "Again!" She cheered
"Sorry, but I do not have time." Rook sighed
"Why?" James asked
"I need to head off and see Miss Green, it is my shift." Rook sighed. Different Plumber's where to go and see her every few days to see hownshe was progressingnand it was Rook's turn
"Tough break." chimed in James, not liking the woman
"Yea." Krystal nodded in agreemenr, finding the woman left the group and headed to Kai's prison
James, Shar and Krystal walked out so they meet up with TwoTwo and Euince "Hey cutie." smiled Shar, winking at Euince
Euince muttered, blushing and looking away "Hi." She muttered bitterly
"TT!" Krystal saidnhappily as she and her girlfriend hugged.
"Krys!" TwoTwo giggled, hugging back
The two happily hugged, Euince looking at the two a with a smile "Gives you any ideas?" winked Shar.
"N... No!" Euince muttered, blushing brightly as she looked away
*with Rook- Kai's prison cell*
Rook reached the cell Kai was in with a pen and clipbored. Looking up he saw Kai sitting in her cell, her stomach expanded and she looked even more feral than before &The time is almost here. Almost here." she giggled.
"Hello Miss Green." Rook nodded
She glared at him while letting out a growl. Kai snaped at her cell door "Come to jeer at me have you? Come to insult me? To take my Master's child away?!" She yelled with a hate filled glare
Rook was compleatly shocked by her reaction but he quickly regained his composure and said "Ms Green, I am simply following protocol. There is no reason for you to be hostile. Now, I belive yourself and your chils are doing perfectly fine?"
"Yes, just dandy. Soon my master's child will be born, and you will be food for him!"
"'He'? You are sure that the child you are carrying is a male then?" Rook asked
"He's strong!" Kai yelled "Just like his father. My precious...precious Master...His precious, precious Father..." She then curled up into a fetal position and continued her rambeling
Rook sighed at the mental state she was in and stayed on the spot. He turned around and walked away. Soon he reached the advisor, turning to the guard in charge of Kai "Anything to report?" The head guard laughed
"Yes... she is not yet recovered mentally and she is obsessed that the child is a male." Rook explained
"We'll beef up security." The head guard nodded
Rook nodded before he left, looking sad. Why did such a thing have to happen?
*with the others*
Krystal looked at her feet in worry as she thought to herself 'If daddy is having more kids, what will happen to us?' She thought
"Hey Krystal, you okay?" TwoTwo asked
"I'm just worried." Krystal thought
"About?" TwoTwo asked again
"What if Daddy forgets about me, James, and Eunice?" Krystal admitted sadly
"Why would he do that?" TwoTwo asked in pure confusion
"Because they're going to have more babies!" Krystal said, as if that explained everything
"So?"
"They'll focus more on them." Krystal said, slowly realising how silly she was sounding
"Do you really think that?"
"Yes." Krystal admited guiltily
TwoTwo was glaring at Krystal lightly, folding her arms over her chest "Krystal, your daddy loves all of you! And you have... like... a bejilian moms! You get to have a really big family!"
"But..."
"No buts! You're going to be a big sister and your parents will all love you!" TwoTwo snapped "They all love you and you get to be an awesome big sister to them, like Eighty was to me!" At this point, Twotwo was shaking Krystal like a rag doll to get her to see reason. "Do you understand?!"
"Yeeeeeeeeeee~eeeessssss..." Krystal called, being shaken up
"Good." Twotwo smiled under her helmet before letting go and unfolding her helmet a bit before putting a small kiss on Krystal's cheek. Krystal blushed and smiled lightly at her girlfriend
"Maybe we should follow their lead." purred Shar winking at Eunice.
Euince blushed and looked away for a second before looking back at Shar and pulling her away "Not happening." she replied. Euince pulled Shar out of the room and shoved her into a wall "What is your deal?" She growled
"What?" smiled Shar with innocence.
"The kiss, the flirting, whats your game?" The blonde asked
"What? I find you cute." she shrugged.
"St... stop messing with me!"
"Fine, if you insist." she sighed walking away.
"Wait... what?"
"If it's bothering you, I'll stop." she shrugged.
"It... It's not that it BOTHER's me." Euince blushed
"Oh really?"
"Yea. It's just that I don't really like being played around with."
"I'm not playing. I just think you're cute." she admitted.
"Really?"
"I wouldn't be doing all that if I didn't think it."
"Maybe, you could be messing with me because you find it funny." Euince muttered
"No, in fact, you're the first girl I've ever flirted with."
"R... Really?" Euince muttered
"Well, it's also because not many females on my home are the same as me."
"The same as you?"
"Ones who like the same gender. They're very rare on my home planet."
"Wow. There are very few actual lesbians?"
"Yes."
"Must be boring." Euince chuckled
"So now do you see why I act like that?" Shar asked
"I guess." Euince shrugged
"But if it really bothers you, I'll stop." she spoke as she turned to walk away.
"N... No! It's okay." Euince muttered
"Really?" asked Shar in surprise.
"Yea. It's fine." She nodded. Shar smiled and pulled Eunice into a hug. The blonde gasped at that, before hugging back
*with TwoTwo and Krystal*
Both girls were sitting down against the wall while holding hands "I'm sorry for being so whiny earlier." Krystal muttered
"It's okay." Krystal smiled. Krystal smiled and moved forwards to kiss TwoTwo... When a spiralling portal appeared in front of them, both of them gasped and stared at in wonder. Out of the portal walked two fourteen year old girls walked out.
One of them looked similar to EightEight, but a little short and with lighter pink armor and had a more vibrant pinknleotard atop the armour with some dark purple decrotive lines. The other looked a bit like Gwen or Krystal with the same eyes and hair as Krystal. The girl had her blue hair tied into a plat and was wearing a pair of blue shorts, black stockings, blue and white sneakers, dark blue gloves, a black tube top and finally a dark blue jacket. And on the girls wrist was Krystal's Omnitrix
Both fourteen girls looked around and spotted the two younger ones "... Oops." The blue haired girl muttered "I think we took a wrong turn in the time stream."
"Again?" groaned the other girl.
"Who are you?" Krystal asked, feeling nervous
"We're you." replied the first girl, making the two kids become very confused
"... What?" The two asked in confusion
"We. Are. You." repeated the second girl slowly
"But... We're us?" TwoTwo asked in confusion
"Well, we're you two from the future." clarified Future-TwoTwo
"Why are you here?" Krystal asked, before what was going on clicked "YOU'RE US?! WHAT HAPPENS?!"
"We can't say cause that would unravel the time stream." spoke Future-Krystal simply
"Are we still together?" Present-TwoTwo asked hopefully
"Oh yeah." grinned Future-Krystal draping an arm over Future-Twotwo's shoulder.
Future-TwoTwo playfully slapped Future-Krystal's hand when she tried to grab her chest "Not in front of... ourselves." She giggled
"Sorry." Future-Krystal chuckled
"Wow Krys... you look so beautiful in the future." Present-TwoTwo muttered
Krystal blushed, but couldn't stop the smile from spreading across her face"You too."
The future versions couldn't help but chuckle "Where we really that nervous and blushy?" Future-Krystal giggled
"You definitely were."
"Hey! Was not!" Future-Krystal glared
"Yes you were~!"
"Was not!"
"Yes you were."
"No I was not!"
"Yes you were!"
And this went on with both continuing the same dialogue as Twotwo and Krystal sweatdropped at their future selves "Are... you two fighting?" Present-TwoTwo asked
"No, this happens all the time." replied Future-Krystal.
"You fight and argue?" Present-Krystal asked, the two future versions suddenly realising what their past selves where thinking
They thought that if all theh did was argue, how could they be happy? Could they break up at their first fight if they argued so easily? "Well it doesn't mean we hate each other. It's kinda like playful banter." explained Future-Krystal.
"Like joking?" Present-TwoTwo asked
"Yup." Future-TwoTwo smilwe. The two nodded in understand
"Have... have you ever seen unned TT's helmet?" Present-Krystal aaked
"Oh yeah." her future self grinned. Both present and future TwoTwo's blushed while present-Krystal grinned widly "Well, lWell like we need to head out." spoke Future-Krystal. She the slapped her forehead "Of course!" She muttered to herself befire turning around and knealing in front of Present-Krystal "I have some important information about you and James that you HAVE to hear."
"What is it?" Present-Krystal asked
"You know how you and James came into the world?" Future-Krystal asked
"A little, why?"
"James... can't do that. Because of those experments by Albedo he does not have that cycle. He can still have children the human was by it is much less likly because of those experiments." Future-Krystal explained seriously "You need to be there for him when he finds out." Preeent-Krystal gasped at hearing that. "And our DNA is a bit messed up as well." Future-Krystal chuckled lightly "We will become self-pregnant but only give birth to one child, and it would be the human way. But we can get pregnant again if we would want, but I'm not telling you how, and it only happens when we are between sixteen and twenty five." Present-Krystal blushed at hearing that. Future-Krystal chuckled and stood up, brushing her hands off "Well I had to say that, I remember being told it."
Her young self nodded as another portal opened up "Wait!" Present-Krystal quickly yelled just as they where about to walk into the portal
"Yes?" Future-TwoTwo asked
"Will... Will I be a good big sister?"
"The best." her future self smiled.
Krystal smiled widly as the future versions walked through the portal and disappeared "That was odd." commented TwoTwo
"But at least we'll be happy." Kryatal smiled
Ship suddenly emerged from Krystal's Omnitrix and said "Krystal, the future you's me sent a message to me while you where talking from future you for you."
"What does it say?" Krystal asked excitedly
Ship's voice suddenly became like future-Krystal's as she said "TT's feet are VERY sensative BTW little me."
TwoTwo quickky grew nervous as Krystal smiled at that. In a flash she became Rose and tied TwoTwo up, pulling her boots off "Hey! Don't you dare!" TwoTwo yelled, trying to break from her girlfriends grip in a panic
"Don't I dare what?" Rose grinned as one of her vines brushed TwoTwo's foot. TwoTwo gasped and began to giggle as Rose didn't let up.
"Well? Don't I dare what?" Rose grinned as she continued to tickle TwoTwo's feet, loving the aouns of her girlfriend's laugh
"Stop! Hahahaha! Stop tickling me!" TwoTwo laughed out.
"But you're so cute." Rose giggled
That was when SixSix and SevenSeven walked in seeing Krystal as her vine-tentacle form tickeling their younger sister "...should we say anything?" asked SixSix.
"Our little sister, who is a lesbian, is getting tickled by her girlfriend who is currently a tentacle thing. What do you think?" SevenSeven deadpaned
"Good point." SixSix nodded. And so the two turned around and walked away, the laughing of their younger sister in the background
