A/N: Here is the official ending. One chapter away from making 40! Anyway, these are a series of letters that were exchanged between Hawkeye and Hana. I know that Hana's letters are short, but that's how I feel she would write them. I feel like I'm saying goodbye to some very loveable characters, BJ, Frank, Margaret, Radar, Potter, and Klinger.

Disclaimer: -last time- I do not own M*A*S*H, I only own Hana Tatakai and the Plot Line.

Dear Hawkeye,

As promised, I am writing to you. I am now settled at my new post. The other nurses here are very welcoming and the head nurse is fairly laid back. The CO is hardnosed, but he has taken a liking to me.

The doctors here are of exceptional quality, but I miss you. The rest of the trip was uneventful. We have received a few sets of casualties and I work well with the doctors here, however I would rather be working with you.

This is for the better though. I have to go now, I'm sorry this letter is so short, but not much has happened.

Your nurse,

Hana Tatakai RN, Lieutenant, U.S. Army. 4835th M*A*S*H

Dear Hana,

I have received you latest letter. I am thrilled that you are doing well. Things here have been quite interesting. As you may remember, Major Houlihan was engaged. Well, she's married now. And Ferret Face has gone bonkers. He was acting so bad that the Colonel decided to send him on R&R in Tokyo. Apparently he molested some blonde woman claiming it was Major Houlihan! And has been sent away from out little mad house! A world without Frank Burns, Ah the war is a better place without him, my dear.

Frank's replacement is a man named Charles Emerson Winchester III. The man is an aristocrat snob. He plays Mozart at any hour of the day and he reads such literature you would never believe. But, oh, is he fun to tease.

Just the other day BJ and I decided to play a prank on him, so we took all of his records and hung them up in the Officer's Club! The look on his face when he called us Cretins, I will never forget.

I'm sorry I had to stop there my dear, Winchester came in and began pestering me with who I was writing, I can see that his curiosity is peaked, but you will be my and the rest of camp's secret.

I do miss you, love. Even with someone as new as Winchester your tent lies empty. I can't sleep at night sometimes, and I walk around the compound remembering the times we would sit and talk in the small hours of morning.

I must go now dear, casualties and all. I love you.

Sincerely,

Benjamin Franklin Peirce, Captain, U.S. Army, 4077th M*A*S*H

Dear Hawkeye,

I'm so sorry for the long wait, but it appears that I have been moved to the E-vac hospital in Tokyo. Reminds me of civilian life, except the boys here have holes ripped in them. I always love seeing the boys that come in here from the 4077th; they always tell me stories of how you've been. I can tell which ones you did by the stitch work, and I can tell which ones Charles did as well.

I also have a good idea at what he's like from what the patients tell me. I miss you all, and I think I would get along swimmingly with him, for I have a like for some of the literature that the patients say they heard talking him about. I miss you, Hawkeye. And I'll even miss you more on my birthday on the 26th.

I have to go now, because I should get some sleep. Give BJ a hug for me, and tell Potter, Klinger, and Radar hi for me.

I love you,

Hana Tatakai RN, Lieutenant, U.S. Army, Tokyo Evacuation Hospital.

Dear Hana,

Happy late birthday. Along with this letter you should be receiving a package. Nothing too big, but it means a lot. I hope this letter finds you in good health. Life here hasn't been so dull after all. Charles is proving to be some entertainment at least. Better than Ferret Face, at least. The man will do anything to have his Mozart, ah the man fits here in out loony bin quite nicely.

Radar has been standing over me for a few moments waiting until I tell you that he says hi. There I said it. BJ's been obsessing over his wife, and her having to clean out the gutters, the man is a maniac.

Well wounded have come in ,Hana, I have to go.

Benjamin Franklin Pierce, Captain, U.S. Army 4077 M*A*S*H

Dear Hawkeye,

I apologize for not writing sooner, but apparently I'm the nurse that gets moved around everywhere, right now I'm sitting in the airport waiting to be sent off to my new assignment. I miss you desperately and tell Radar hi for me, as well. BJ's just the type of person to worry a lot. He really does love her though, Hawkeye.

I really don't want to say this, but I don't think that writing any more will work. I'll be moved around and transferred so much that I don't even unpack anymore. I heard my last CO saying that I may go the States for a week, and then return. I wish I could write to you, Hawkeye I really do. You can write me as much as you want, but I may not answer them. They will always find me, and I will always read them, and answer if I have the time.

I love you Hawkeye.

Hana Tatakai RN, Lieutenant, U.S. Army, No definite Station.
