The idea of this is that it can be read to music from the show soundtrack. (I got the idea from someone who set lyrics to the "Prime" opening theme, which sounded really pretty. I don't recall the name, but they're on Tumblr somewhere…)

The track that this is meant to accompany is called "Airachnid", from the score by Brian Tyler.

Starts at :11, give or take

Dark the night, the moon has gone,

Gone to hide its face away

Away at home on Cybertron-

A wish I cannot act upon,

For I must wait the break of day.

.?.

The break of day will save thee not,

Not though the Prime himself should come.

Come, then, and find 'twas all for naught-

Naught there is can mend the plot-

The ending you've been running from.

.?.

Prey and hunter, which is she,

She who hides, or she who seeks,

Seeks the other constantly

Constant in animosity

Is she from whom this poison reeks.

.?.

Lo! The dry and fading vine,

Vine that withers in the dark,

Dark as I, O enemy mine-

Yet I will build for thee a shrine

To house the remnants of thy spark.

.?.

Dark the moon, and dark thine eyes,

Eyes vainly searching things unseen-

Unseen for now, though the sun shall rise,

And with it go our battle cries-

Hideously bright in guise-

And one shall fall- and falling comprise

One final call: Hail to the Queen.
