A/N – HAVE YOU HEARD THE NEWS? GUYS FREDDIE AND MATT AND LIZ ARE ON SAM AND CAT THIS IS SERIOSULY AMAZING. IT'S BEEN CONFIRMED AHHH!
And please don't forget to vote for the baby name! 'Scarlet' is winning at the moment!
The baby was due in exactly three months, and everything was going according to plan. The baby's development was perfect, the rooms were decorated, and Freddie even had a 'labour plan'. Yeah. Sam and Freddie were still the same as ever; not too sweet yet not too sour – and Cat complained about how much they kissed. She thought her and Robbie were bad.
Freddie was out with Robbie choosing presents. Christmas was just around the corner, and since Sam was heavily pregnant, she used it as an excuse to make Freddie buy all of the gifts (yes, even his own gift). Cat claimed that she was also heavily pregnant (which she really wasn't) and stuffed a pillow up her t-shirt (which was really obvious but Robbie pretended to fall for it, anyway).
"So how are you and Sam?" Robbie asked as they walked into the first store. The first thing on Sam's list for Freddie was 'something chizzy and girly that Carls will like'.
"We're good." Freddie replied. "The baby is doing great and we're doing great... I think."
"What's the 'I think' all about?"
"We're just acting a lot different to when we dated before, really. It's weird, but I love it."
"Do you love her?" Robbie asked, picking up a set of nail varnishes and inspecting them.
"I do." Freddie confirmed, a smile playing on his lips.
"I just don't understand you two." Robbie sighed. "You're the polar opposites. It's not right... But it is."
"It took me a while to figure out, too." Freddie took the nail varnishes that Robbie had placed back on the shelf and threw them into his basket. "We complement each other. I keep her grounded, and she lifts me off the ground. In a strange way, we make it work."
"What do you want to get Cat then?" Freddie asked as he payed for Carly's last present. (From Sam, that was.)
"I was thinking last night... And I'm a little unsure... But I thought I might get her like a ring or something..." Robbie smiled. "Freddie, do you think she really likes me?"
"Cat?"
"Yeah, I mean I know she likes me like that... But do you think if I got her a ring she'd accept?"
"Accept... What do you mean- Wait, do you mean as in an engagement ring?"
"Well, yeah..."
"Robbie, that's a great idea!"
"I'm just worried she'll reject me and-"
"Robbie, I really doubt she'll reject you. But it's the perfect idea... I could propose to Sam, too... It's like a double proposition - on Christmas day!"
"So if we both get rejected... No hard feelings, right?"
"We're not going to get rejected, Robbie. Well, you defiantly won't. Cat loves you. Sam, well she can be a bit, mood-swingy, I guess. She doesn't like to show she likes me; but when we're alone she does." Freddie smiled.
"I think it'll work."
"Me too. Now, no telling Cat or Carly or Gibby or Jade, or Tori... Or anyone! This has to be kept a secret. It's perfect, but only if they don't find out."
Freddie picked up a photo album that was on a nearby shelf. On the front, the words "Thanks for all the good times" were embroidered onto the front. "You going to get it?" Robbie asked, noticing Freddie's interest.
"I might. I could fill it with loads of old iCarly photos and-"
A big grin spread across Freddie's face.
"You okay there Freddie?" Robbie asked, chuckling.
"I've just had the best idea." Freddie announced.
"How do you think the boys are doing?" Cat asked, filling her mouth with Popcorn.
"Fredhead sent me a picture of some nail varnishes..." Sam sighed. "I think they're doing alright, he's not texting me anymore. Maybe he's made a breakthrough."
Cat ate more popcorn. "Sam?"
"Yeah?"
"Can girls propose?"
"What makes you ask that?"
"Well... I just thought it would be nice to get married to Robbie."
"Really?"
"Well, yeah... Wouldn't you like to get married to Freddie?"
"I haven't really thought about it much."
"Yeah you have." Cat giggled. "I've seen you looking at wedding dresses."
"Carly's making me. She really wants us all to have a triple wedding... Y'Know, her and Gibby, you and Robbie and me and Freddie…"
"I'd like that so much!" Cat squealed. "It will be a really big day and we can invite all our friends... Can we do it tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow?"
"Yeah! It's so exciting!"
"I have a feeling I won't fit into a wedding dress." Sam said, laughing.
"Oh yeah." Cat shoved the pillow further under her top. "Me too."
"We'll have to wait until the babies are born."
"Babies... Oh wait, I have a better idea!" Cat ran into her apartment, grabbed her toy giraffe, and shoved it under her top. "I have a baby giraffe!" She laughed. "We're twins!"
