Illya had been sent to the little island town of Gulf Breeze, Florida to investigate possible UFO sightings. While there, he experienced some of the most bizarre weather he'd ever seen. For instance, one clear, sunny day, he'd decided to go fishing, when suddenly a bolt of lightning came out of the sky and hit another fisherman near him.
The UNCLE agent dropped his pole and went to check on the other man right away. The man was unconscious but had a weak pulse. Illya called for help, and within moments, a life flight helicopter had arrived to take the man to the hospital.
Illya watched as the helicopter flew away and decided that he'd had enough fishing for one day.
