Prompt #38: Jump - Jumping's fun. It's even more fun when you know someone's there to catch you.

I love to jump.

It's fun. An adrenaline rush. I love it.

Hardison worries that I'm going to hurt myself. Even with my experience, he worries.

It's sweet. But it gets annoying after a while.

She loves jumping.

Damn it, girl gives me a heart attack when she decides to do what she does.

But she loves doing it. Nothing gives her the same rush.

It's crazy. But I never want her to change, ya know?

There was this one job we had, in Dubai. I loved it because I got to jump off the second-tallest building in the world. With a parachute.

I found it funny, because I didn't want to jump at first. But that's because I didn't know I had a parachute in my bag. Hardison put it in there without telling me.

He doesn't like me jumping much, but he always manages to catch me.

It's almost as exciting as the jump itself.

Girl was going into the belly of the beast - and up its spire - and she was surprised that I put a parachute in her bag? I was surprised she hadn't.

I knew she might have to run. Only way to go was up until you can't go up no more.

I don't like her jumping, but when she has to, I make damn sure that she's got something to catch her.

Even if I have to sneak it in there.

"Dubai was fun, wasn't it?"

"If you call getting lied to by Sterling fun, then yeah, sure, buckets of fun."

"Don't be such a wet blanket, Hardison. I got to jump off the tallest building!"

"Second-tallest, Parker."

"What's the tallest?"

"What makes you think I'll tell you? You'll want to jump off it."

"Yeah, so? That's normal, isn't it?"

"Ugh...just relax, okay girl? You've got plenty of time to jump off tall building in a single bound."

"...Hardison?"

"Yeah?"

"Will you catch me?"

"Why you askin' me that, Parker?"

"...Well, I uh, well..."

"Cuz the answer is always yes."

"Really?"

"I told you, I got you, girl. I've always got you. You know that, right?"

"Yeah."

"Good."

"..."

"So what's the tallest building in the world?"
