A/N: Guys, I have a confession to make. I uploaded last chapter way too early. I forgot that I wasn't done with it. But I seem to have left off at a pretty okay spot so I guess that's alright, sort of. Now to continue. ^.^ And sorry if this chapter sucks. I haven't written Zelda in a while, been focusing on Wattpad/band member fics and such.

Thalia's POV

"Well, that's that," says Vio. "What's next?"

"Get Blue to the doctor, of course~" Red replies. Everybody agrees and Shadow, Vio and Green struggle to get the boy off of the floor and up the stairs.

I glance over at the small Link and feel sorry for him- he was beside himself when Blue was gone, especially after he got injured, again. As brave as Blue is, I think he's honestly a little reckless. And what worries me is that we have to make it all the way back to Hyrule Castle with him to get him stitched up before we can continue.

We manage to make it out of Goron City just fine; when we come out of the mountain the boys set Blue down. Green gulps when he looks down at the descent we would have to make, Kakariko Village at the bottom and all. At least we won't have to go down a vertical set of vines past Skulltulas, as Vio points out- "like you would if you went to the very top of the mountain where the Great Fairy resides."

Hey!

"Wait a second, Vio…" I say, an idea forming in my head. "There's a Great Fairy at the top of this mountain."

"Yes?" He replies questioningly, giving me an odd look. "And?"

"Blue's injured, but what if a few of us, not him of course, went up and asked the fairy for help? I'm sure she can make him better almost instantly."

"I don't know if you should put your money on it," Shadow murmurs, putting his hand on my shoulder.

"But it wouldn't be that long of a trip," Green counters. "Two or three of us could make it up there in maybe a day or so, ask the Great Fairy to grant her healing powers on Blue from afar or come back with a potion of some sort, and voila."

"Do it…" Blue murmurs in a small, weak voice. "I'm better off…alive…you know."

"Okay, so who's going to go?" Red asks. "I probably shouldn't, because I'm weak, and besides, I'm better at helping people."

"It can't just be Red, though," I say. "Someone needs to protect him and Blue."

"I will," Vio raises his hand. I think I see Shadow smirk at him from the corner of my eye, but if the intelligent Link sees it he ignores it. "Green and Shadow, you guys and Thalia go on up."

The green Link seems a little hesitant. "Are you sure you'll be fine?"

"Like you said, it'll only take a day or so. I'll be fine. But if I do need anything, I'll call you down."

"Alright then." Green hoists his pack up a little more on his shoulder. "Let's get going, guys. We don't have all day." With a grim nod, Shadow and I follow him a little down the path and turn to hike upwards.

oooOOOooo

The trip really isn't that much of a trouble; we make it uphill without many problems. It's when we reach the patch of volcanic activity that I find myself getting a little worried.

"Uh, Shadow? Green?"

"Yes?" They turn to look at me.

"Look ahead." I point to where, oddly enough, only a bit of Death Mountain is being plastered by falling craters. The stretch is also foggy, so it's hard to make out just how long it is.

"Oh, crap." Green mutters under his breath. "I think we can make it if we run through."

"No way," Shadow shakes his head. "There are rocks big enough to crush your skull. Is there a pattern?"

"More importantly, do we have shields?"

"I don't," I say. "But I guess Shadow and I can summon our own."

"Great, go ahead."

Closing my eyes, I focus on the image of a big Hyrule shield, spreading my hands a little apart. I don't know if this will actually work. After a few minutes, nothing appears. Shadow has tried the same technique and is more successful. In his hands appears two shields exactly like Green's standard one, except mine is purple and his is black.

"Well done," Green says. "Let's get a move on."

Facing the bout of rocks, I take a deep breath and plunge into the craters falling, stopping in about five feet to duck under my shield. I can feel rocks pressing into my body from above, some merely bouncing off and some hitting me with some impact. But Shadow's dark shield remains strong, and I get through with minor scratching after stopping every few feet. Shadow and Green make it through as well.

The path is shorter than it appears and after about 100 feet we reach the vertical vines Vio had mentioned earlier.

"Well, crap," Shadow mutters. "Does anybody have a slingshot?"

Green raises his hand. "Tell me where the skulls are, I'll shoot them." Shadow points out the first one almost directly above our heads. With an expert pulling back of the string, Green lets a Deku Nut fly and the Skulltula drops to the ground.

"Can't we just climb?" I ask, gripping the vines after Green and Shadow.

"If we did, they'd get mad and charge at us," Shadow explains. "And the fall would hurt. A lot."

I shrug and step onto the rock platform while Green and Shadow take out another few 'tulas. "You know, this isn't as bad as Vio made it out to be."

"It was the first time we climbed the mountain," Green replies. "But then you realize afterwards that it isn't that bad and you pretty much become an expert." More vine-climbing. "That is, if you're smart."

"You're not doing too bad," adds Shadow. I smile.

We reach the top of the mountain with no trouble and finally stand in front of the entrance to a cavern. I wipe my forehead; the heat and the climb definitely wore me out.

"I better go in," Green offers. "Shadow won't do too well in there-"

"All the Great Fairies hate me," the dark Link mutters. "They still think I haven't changed. That was a few years ago."

"And you don't want to meet her, trust me."

"Why not?" I ask, suddenly curious.

"Err….just the way, she…um, looks."

"Imagine a fairy," says Shadow.

"Okay," I reply, a small image of the common fairy in my head.

"Now forget that. She is this human-looking, giant freaky-looking thing wearing barely enough clothing to cover much of anything, vines I might add, way too much makeup, and to top it all off she laughs like a serial killer. Trust me, you do NOT want to meet her if you can help it." He shudders. "It'll scar you for life."

"It'll be alright," Green assures me. "I'll be out in a few minutes. You guys wait out here." He turns and walks inside.

Shadow and I exchange glances. "Want to sit down on the edge of the cliff?" he offers.

"Sure." I follow him and we dangle our feet off the edge; the drop looks like certain death from here. But the view is gorgeous; not only can you see Kakariko Village, you can pretty much see all of Hyrule as well- the castle, the Village of the Blue Maiden and more.

"It's beautiful," I say with a smile. "You can see everything from here."

"Isn't it?" Shadow says softly. "Thalia, look. I'm sorry for the other night. Vio and I, we just exploded. I don't really want to kill him, or even hurt him. We just want you to be happy."

"It's alright, I forgive you." I sigh. "I just don't understand why you're both so aggressive to each other. Vio isn't normally like this, he never was. Not until we started out on this trip."

Shadow doesn't reply for a few seconds, as if he's thinking of something to say. "Just don't worry about it, Thalia."

Green comes back out as he promised with a potion in his hand, just like he said. "Okay guys, let's go!"

"What'd you get?"

"It's a very rare elixir." The animated blue liquid sloshes around in his bottle, fascinating me with every movement it makes. "The effects work immediately and stitch up your insides as well as your outsides. Makes you all better, just groggy for a few days."

"Bet the doctors in all of Hyrule would kill to have something like that."

"She said it was something very special, something that has only been made once and this is it, and that we should be careful," Green says with a tone of mystery. "Do you really think it could cure him immediately?"

"Don't see why we shouldn't try it." Shadow shrugs. "Now, let's make our way back down."

oooOOOooo

As quickly as we could, we headed back to the others and let Red have the honors of feeding Blue the elixir.

As soon as it goes down, Blue starts coughing violently. None of us know what the heck is going on, but he stops within a few minutes and stands up. "Okay…what the crap just happened?"

"It was from the Great Fairy," Vio explains, elaborating what Green had told me earlier. "Basically, it's a one-of-a-kind potion that immediately fixes things and can basically never be made again."

"You should feel lucky," Green adds. "I don't know where she got it, but it did the trick, didn't it?"

"It sure did." Blue clutches his stomach, letting out a big burp. "'Scuse me. I feel better already."

Red runs his hand over Blue's ribs quickly. "His ribs…I think they've healed!"

"Yeah, yeah, that's cool." Blue rolls his eyes.

"Looks like his sarcasm healed too," Shadow quips. "Anyways, we should probably camp down for the night and get on our way tomorrow. Maybe another note will appear now that we've got this shell."

Green nods. "Let's go see if Darunia will let us stay the night."

A/N: I'm going to be honest and say that I kind of hate this chapter. But I want to finish this flipping-long thing and then possibly remake it to be better, or at least put it as a side project.

Go to my profile and check out the poll about it- you can vote on whether I should actually remake it or not, because A) I have other things to write and B) I need your guys' opinions. Only one person has voted and I was kinda hoping to get some results by the end of 2014.

So, can we get some votes by the end of December? Pretty please? If you message me after you vote I promise I'll read and comment on some if not all of your stuff~ Thank you so much!
