Chapter 39: Stalking Is A Bad Habit, Ikuto.
Disclaimer: None of you give a crap anymore.
~~Amu's POV~~
So I officially hate owing people things. Now that at make me sound shallow, but let me just tell you exactly how my day went today:
"Jeezus Rima, how much hair do you have?" I was attempting to put Rima's hair in a ponytail, but unfortunately none of the rubber bands fit around all of her hair. "I give up!" I said, dropping the mound of golden hair in my hands and going to get dressed. It was incredibly hot out today so black shorts, a gray red and purple tank top, and short black boots was my outfit. Rima and I were meeting Yaya to go shopping for end of the year dance dresses. When we got to the shops, Yaya was already there. She stuck out her tongue. "You made me wait!" She made us get ice cream for her as compensation. Then we walked around a big mall we passed the food court.
"Oh let's go get a pretzel!" Yaya said.
"Wait Yaya, we should probably finish our ice cream first." Rima said.
"No! Amu-chi wants ice cream too, don't you?" She looked at me and I could feel her eyes willing me to say yes.
"Huh? Oh, umm... I don't know, uh..."
Yaya sat on the ground and folded her arms. "Yaya wants a pretzel!" She said. She got one.
We ended up not finding dresses and just going back to the school. Half way back I heard someone calling my name. I looked around to see Ikuto motioning me over. "Ohhhhhh Amu-chii's got a boyfriend!" Yaya whispered. "Shut up." I said, making her laugh. I walked over to Ikuto.
"Amu, I need you to do me a favor." He said.
I actually bust out laughing. "That was a good one." I said grinning. His face remained stoic. I sighed. "You're no fun. I'm not doing you a favor." I turned to walk away, but he grabbed me and pulled me into him backwards, putting his arms around me. My face turned red.
"But Amu, I did you a favor, remember. At the fair?" I stopped struggling as I relived the moment Ikuto took out the creeps that raped me. I envisioned the look of anger on his face. I swallowed.
"What do you want?" He released me, grinning.
"I need you to pretend to be my little sister."
I blinked a couple of times. "…What?"
Evidently Ikuto had this guy he was supposed to pretend to be friends with, but really needed to spy on for his father's job or something. Apparently his dad had told the guy Ikuto had a younger sister. According to Ikuto, I needed to look about eight or nine. I took of all my make up, and found my most little kid like clothes. I put on rainbow leggings with a black tutu, a gray tank top and black knee high boots. I put my half my hair up into pigtails with gray heart clips and left the rest down. I came out and Ikuto was grinning. "Well isn't that adorable." He said. "Shut it, I'm doing this for you!" I hissed.
We got to a little restaurant and sat on some chairs that were outside. A man waved at Ikuto, and came over. He was probably in his early twenties. "Hi, you are Mr. Tskuyomi, correct?" Ikuto looked at the man. "Yes. And you must be-" the man cut him off. He was looking directly at me. "Who's this?" He said, still smiling. "This is my younger sister Amu." He said. Ikuto looked at me expectantly and I realized I was supposed to be acting like a little kid. I giggled. "Hi there! My name is Amu-Chan! What's your name Mr? You look like a Steven! I know a guy named Steven! He-" Ikuto covered my mouth. "Sorry, she doesn't stop talking. She's only eight." The man laughed. We ordered food and had pointless conversations. At least I think they were pointless, I was to busy blowing bubbles in my chocolate milk and eating like a cat to amuse myself as a little kid would. The man left after paying and Ikuto looked at me. "I don't know whether to thank you or be concerned because you were ridiculously good at that." I grinned. "Ikuto, I want some candy."
Then we started following the man. We followed his car to a big building. He didn't get out of his car, so we waited behind a bush where we could see through his window. He looked at me and smirked. My face felt hot but I didn't know why. "Stalking is a bad habit, Ikuto-niisaan. I said in my little kid voice. He had me leave.
I went to to the school and saw Kukai. "Amu... What the hell are you wearing?" He said. I decided not to explain, instead I said. "I can dress how I want!" And ran into the building.
