Summary: Illness causes Merlin to experience unspeakable fear.

Arthur wondered why Merlin had to fall ill the one time that Gaius was away. Seeing as Merlin had a fever, Arthur had felt obligated to keep an eye on him. Obligated, not concerned.
But after a few hours of fitful sleep, Merlin awoke in a panic and Arthur had to admit he was more than concerned.
His servant was rocking back and forth, mumbling.
"Can't be here. Can't be here. Can't be here."
"Merlin, you're safe."
"I'm never safe here."
Arthur reached out a reassuring hand.
"NO!" screamed Merlin and a surge of power blasted Arthur into the wall.
