Okay, so here is a new story. I'm still having trouble coming up with new story plots but I am starting to get the story in to a direction I'm liking.
So please read an I hope the wait was worth it.
Pokémon and Lilo & Stitch do not belong to me, they belong to their respective creators.
The Meeting of a New Friend
Who isa meega? Where isa meega? Stitch asks himself, trying to look around the room only to see nothing but blackness.
The void is silent. The feeling of pain, touch, taste, sound, and sight do not exist here, yet he feels like he knows what they are. How meega already know?
What is this strange world it has awakened in? Trying to understand he continues to explore but everything is the same, as he already knows – sight doesn't exist.
In what seems like hours later a strange sound emerges. Sound? It sounds like a…thump that's echoing all around the void. Footsteps. What isa making voice?
"Ah, am finally receiving brainwave activity," a voice announces from nowhere, sounding very pleased. "This is very good. Yes."
Who…? Who said that?
"Now it is time to be bringing my monstrosity to life!" the voice bellows cheerfully.
What do you –? Ah!
Never has he felt this before! Isa this…touch?! Green soon flashes through the void. Color? He isn't sure and doesn't care. The pain is taking it toll on him, so much so that he isn't noticing that the void is being replaced with green and…and detail of the outside.
By the time he hears laughing, unsure if it's directed at his torment, he is consumed by the darkness once again as consciousness slips away.
Green lightning surges through the fusion chamber as a loud, hysterical laugh reverberates around the lab. And soon the lightning ceases giving the evil scientist a chance to clear his throat. Jumba approaches the chamber to see a curled blue ball.
"Can it be? Have I done it?" Jumba asks himself in marvel of his creation.
The blue-furred experiment, Stitch, hears the question, recognizing the voice. J-Jumba?
Stitch's eyes widen at the sudden cascade of memories surging through his mind.
"Lilo!"
He is expecting to be back inside the fusion chamber Jumba made him in but instead he is in another void. He looks around but can't spot anything.
"Hello?" he hollers, his voice echoing across the dark plain. He tries to use his night vision but has no effect – it's too dark for even his night vision to see!
Heat vision? Stitch swaps over to use it and it's the same result! Everything is exactly the same temperature making everything appear as a blob!
"You've failed!" hisses a low, menacing voice.
Stitch swerves his body around to fin nothing. Panic begins to take effect of the experiment, his breathing and heart rate steadily rising.
"Who there?"
Silence is his response.
"Quit lying to yourself," the voice wickedly commands with a chortle.
Stitch's heart rate begins to rise as he frantically begins to circle around his spot looking for the source of the noise. "What youga want?"
"For you to accept defeat," the voice coldly replies, before crackling in amusement.
"G-go away!" Stitch orders only inciting more laughter.
Naga, Stitch! He mentally tells himself. Naga panic. Naga panic!
As the experiment moves across the solid floor he realizes that he's on grass! A sudden chill runs down his back the moment a lone, red, cyclonic eye emerges from the shadows before dissipating as quickly as it came. Lowering his ears and grasping his paws together, Stitch begins trembling from the sudden presence that makes itself physically known. The presence feels like pure hate – something just radiating evil!
A low, dark chuckle fills Stitch's ears from all around before responding to his demand.
"That's rather unfortunate, for I'm coming and you will know the truth!" the voice hisses.
Flash!
Stitch gasps from the sudden brightness of the room. After being in the dark so long it took minutes for his eyes to adjust to the luminosity of the room. His eyes adjusted he gasps to see that he's in the center of grassy battle field, the room being lit by artificial lights up above on the ceiling.
"Hello?" Stitch calls.
A dark chuckle is his response. "Hello," the voice replied with nasty hiss.
He turns around frantically looking about the room finding nothing but the company of his shadow, that's laughing hysterically. The shadow's gaze beams through the experiment's skin, its newly emerged red, cyclonic eye emitting hate like a furnace!
Stitch gasps in horror while he tumbles to his back, watching the shadow begin to rise off the ground. The blue-furred experiment pushes himself away from the shadow figure, which only crackles at Stitch's futile effort to escape.
"You're mine!" it sneers, the tone laced with venom dripping from it. Stitch's eyes widen in absolute horror.
He doesn't know where to run, he just runs! The shadow just laughs, following the fleeing experiment. Stitch's sprint leads him to the arena's walls which he tries to climb but only to fall back down. He turns around to see the shadow figure racing towards him, its red cyclonic eye radiating pure evil and an unquenchable thirst for power and vengeance.
"Aloha, cousin!" The figure's sneer resonates all around the experiment before being enveloped by its presence.
"Ah!" Stitch cries waking up in a cold sweat. His paw clenching his chest, he can feel his heat pounding his ribs like some rabid animal. He looks around to see he's back in the lab.
Stitch begins to cry with relief that it was all just a dream and that he is safely back in the professor's lab. He see's that Lilo is still fast asleep in the guest room, thankful that he hasn't woken her up. Taking a large gulp of air he exhales the worry out, though much still lingers within but now it is more manageable.
He looks out the window to see the full moon hanging in the sky; the experiment feels like the rays are…calling him. He can't explain it but he just can't shake the feeling. Hoping off the bed he walks over to door to exit, but not without taking one last glance at Lilo.
Satisfied that she still slumbers, he walks out of the room and out the back door of the lab. He climbs the walls of the structure and makes his way to the top of the windmill, its fans turning lightly with the calm breeze.
His gaze fixated on the moon he watches its brilliance as the natural satellite makes its descent to the ground. Was that merely dream…? Or perhaps, something more?
Stitch doesn't know the answer to his thought as his head leans downward. What if mega can't protect Lilo? What if Stitch fail ohana?
"Butterfree!" reverberates the sounds of thousands of butterfrees. Stitch looks up and gasps at the size of the rabble.
He remembers Ash mentioning his butterfree. Could his be amongst the group? He isn't sure but the sight sure is beautiful. Soon the migrating group disappears from view seemingly leaving a trail of sparkles behind, which quickly fades as well.
Looking down to his paws he plops his butt down on the windmill, pondering. Does meega have right to be here? The thought now shifts to his unnatural origins.
"That truly was a wondrous sight to behold. Wouldn't you agree?" a calm voice asked from behind.
Stitch perks his ears and faces the new arrival. He gasps at the being's presence which bears the resemblance of a feline humanoid. It has a long purple tail and its body is covered with a fine layer of graying hair. Currently the being remains still while hovering in the air.
Stitch looks at the being apprehensively but also with curiosity. Stitch looks in to the pokémon's eyes; he can sense something…something similar to him. "Who are you?" he asks in proper English.
The pokémon gracefully glides closer before landing on the edge of the structure. "I am Mewtwo," he divulges before giving a slight nod. "It is nice to finally be making an acquaintance, Stitch."
Stitch's eyes widen at hearing his name. "Youga –?"
"Yes," he replies before the question is finished. "I have learned of you from your cousin, Sparky. I have come all this way to meet you."
"Youga come see meega?" question the experiment. Stitch begins to fiddle with his claws, astonished that someone comes all this way just to see him! He looks back in to Mewtwo's eyes with the question, "Why?"
"When the experiment pods rained down I initially paid no heed till their activations peaked my interest, starting with what transpired in Nimbasa. From there is when I learned of you and your association with Ash."
Stitch's ears perks at hearing that name.
"Youga know Ash?" he asks, curiosity present on his face. Mewtwo simply nods.
"In deed. The human has helped me more times than he realizes." Stitch thinks he can see a faint smile on Mewtwo's face, and if there is one, it is short lived.
Mewtwo raises a brow at Stitch, as said experiment now has his attention focused on the luminescent moon. The Genetic Pokémon senses something. This behavior mirroring him in several ways.
"Is something troubling you?"
The sudden question jerks the experiment back to reality forcing the experiment to meet with Mewtwo's slightly worried gaze. "Gaba? Naga, everything oketaka!" he lies with a wide smile before it gives way to a concerned glace. "Why?"
"You seemed despondent to me and the world around you, Stitch." Stitch is about to rebuttal but Mewtwo isn't having it. "And do not attempt to lie to me again. Now I ask once more: what is troubling you?"
Stitch fiddles with his claws again, the floor suddenly becoming interesting as he stares at it. "Meega naga certain. Keep…getting weird dreams all of sudden. Creepy shadow keep attacking Stitch!" he divulges in a slight panic, referring to himself in third person.
Stitch looks at Mewtwo, who nods for him to continue. Stitch starts with the beginning and the Genetic Pokémon stands there letting the story seep in. He gives the occasion nod and hum at parts. As he listens, he can't help but feel a…connection to the experiment: both of them were created to further the gains of criminals, but from there, there roads diverged to different paths that led to new beginnings.
"…and then nightmare ends, where meega attacked by shadow," he concludes. Stitch looks back to Mewtwo with frightful eyes, hoping for answers. "What it mean?"
The experiment hears the Genetic Pokémon hum lightly beneath his breath placing his paw beneath his chin, contemplating what he is told.
"I wish I knew for certain, but it sounds like something from the past is coming. Something not necessarily from your past, but it's coming," he surmises, deeply worried over his conclusion, "and it seeks vengeance and power. And you are the only one that can stop it."
Stitch gulps. Really? He is the one to stop something evil from the past? And something he doesn't even know what it is?!
"Though I could be wrong," is Mewtwo's sudden additive to the situation. Stitch certainly hopes the Mewtwo is wrong.
"Mewtwo?" he calls.
Mewtwo acknowledges him and nods, gesturing him to continue.
"Youga say Ash help youga. How?"
At first, a deep sigh from the pokémon is the response leaving Stitch to believe he does not wish to talk about it. Stitch responds, "Youga naga –"
"No, Stitch, since you told me your story it is only reasonable that mine be shared as well," he says. "As you can probably tell I am not like other pokémon. You see, Stitch, like yourself, I was created, an enhanced clone of the legendary pokémon known as mew."
Stitch stands there astonished and with feelings of sadness over Mewtwo's story; the pokémon explains the reasons for his creation to his time with Team Rocket, to his escape. He goes on to explain that with his rage he rebuilt the old lab and invited trainers to seize their pokémon and clone them. He explains that his plan was to exterminate humans and all pokémon who partook in their partnership.
"Before I could pursue further Mew arrived and a battle ensued. The battle was brutal and as we summoned the last of our strength for one final confrontation, a trainer cried out for the battle to cease! Our attacks collided in to him ending his life," he explains.
Stitch gasps in horror, the experiment wanting to believe that this is a lie, but the somber look on Mewtwo's face discredits that notion. But then, Mewtwo's face softens.
"The pokémon, moved by that trainers selflessness began to cry and their tears brought him back," he explains. "At first, his selfless actions puzzled me; he was a human who valued all pokémon, whether born or created. Our battle ceased. Finally, my eyes had been opened, as had my heart. The pokémon clones and I left to find a place where we could live in peace, and I used my psychic powers to wipe-out the memory of our struggle."
Mewtwo looks at Stitch and says, "Ash was that trainer. If it weren't for him the world you see it now would not be in existence."
Stitch stands there incomplete shock. Several parts of the story nearly made the experiment cry. Never before has he ever known this. "Why Ash never –?"
"That is because he too had his memory erased that day; and all memories of me today are from our re-acquaintance on Mt. Quena." Stitch stares at his wide-eyed.
"But he naga –"
"That is because we had the agreement that he and his friends would never reveal to anyone the event that took place at Mt. Quena."
Stitch nods in understanding.
Now the moon is hanging lower in the sky than where it was previously. Both look at the natural satellite as it makes its descent. Daylight is now beginning to obscure the lunar glow.
"It's time for me to go." The sudden statement catches Stitch off guard. "I look forward for the next time we meet."
"Ih! Same here, cousin," Stitch replies. The response is innocent but it still catches Mewtwo off guard.
The pokémon internally smiles at the statement. Cousin. He mentally whispers to himself. "Before I go, I must tell you to tell no one of this encounter."
"Oketaka!" With that said, Stitch gives a nod to confirm it.
Mewtwo then lifts off the windmill and flies off. "Until me meet again, cousin," he whispers silently to himself as he gracefully flies through the cool morning clouds, his form soon concealed by the clouds.
Stitch stands there with a smile. He can't wait to meet Mewtwo again, someday. And hopefully it will be soon.
"Stitch?" a voice calls. It's Lilo! "Stitch, where are you? An experiment activated!"
"Coming!" he hollers.
Stitch climbs down the windmill and heads inside.
As you saw, I made several changes to my paragraph and writing structure. As you saw I'm doing away with the "Location: (area)" break.
I hope that this story was worth the wait, and I can't wait to see what you all have to say. Sorry that an experiment round-up didn't occur in this chapter, but it's coming. And I can assure you that surprises are on the way.
And if there are any spelling or grammar errors let me know so that I may correct it.
I'm not sure when the next update will be but hopefully it won't be another six months. So thanks for reading.
