Chapter 38

Once Lisa did all her checks that she wanted to do, Scott and Virgil came back upstairs to help bring Jo down. When they got Jo down the stairs Lisa made sure that she was comfy on the sofa before the baby shower started. While everyone else is in the kitchen getting the food ready, it didn't take long for Lisa to see that she was on her own with the couple.

"Okay you two spill, what is wrong?"

"We have something to tell you before Scott decides that he is going to take you out again, you need to know this about our family" said Virgil.

"What is it?" Said Lisa as she was putting her things away.

"For the past few years Scott and I have been working to save lives."

"Oh my God, are you two trying to tell me that you are with international Rescue? Great I am in love a Thunderbird."

"Wait hold on a sec, are you in love with Scott?" asked Jo.

"It's hard to explain, we got on so well at your wedding and it clicked. Then when Scott met me I guess I just fell for him. Believe you did the right thing when you handed me his number."

"We some how knew you liked Scott in away, so I could we not?"

While the three of them were still talking, everyone else arrives into the living room with the food and cake. Lady Penelope starts setting up the first game. "Okay everyone time to play the first game, its called pin the poo on the nappy. This will be done blind folded, who ever gets it wrong must eat it. So are we all clear on the rules?"

"So are the parents going to take part or watch?"

"They can if they want or they can watch its up to them"

"Okay so who Is going to start?"

"Well I think Uncle Scott should start" said Robyn with a laugh

The nappy is put onto a broad and Penny blind folds Scott for the game, once Scott had his go everyone else followed. Everyone rested to have something to eat before the next game can start.

"Hey Scott, you and Lisa seem to be getting on lately, you want to tell us anything?" Teased Tin-Tin while looking over at them sitting together having something to eat. Not giving Lisa or Scott a chance to answer Tin-Tin's question.

Grandma says "So I believe its time for another game and its called guess the baby food, again everyone gets blind folded and Robyn with the help from Virgil will spoon feed you the baby food." While everyone is getting fed the baby food Jo is watching on from the sofa, Grandma arrives to sit beside her.

"So how is everything going my dear?"

"It's hard to believe that in three weeks time we will be meeting these little ones, I am starting to get really scared now and I can't shake the feeling now. I am okay just wish it was over and done with as I am getting very fed up now."

"You will do great Jo, you have a lot of family around you to help out and you have my Grandson there too."

"I know I just get worried over nothing, we are going to have a full house soon. So we will need all the help we can get."

"I am sure, Have you names for these little ones yet? Asked Grandma with a smile putting her hand on Jo's bump."

"Yes we have names sorted but it turns out that one of our babies has Downs Syndrome, if I am honest I don't know how I am going to react to it."

"You are both going to do fine, you and Virgil are great parents to Robyn. Believe it or not but I did tell Jeff that you two would end up together and I was right."

"With everything I went through with my foster parents, I was so glad that your family was there for me."

"I am glad that we were able to be there for you, when Virgil and John told us that they were worried about you. Jeff was on the phone to ask about us taking you into our care."

"Okay everyone now that all the games are over, we are going to tell you all what the 3rd baby with. I didn't pick anything up until Virgil had brought Jo into me to get checked out. We done a scan to check that everything was alright, I pick up another baby hiding behind the twins." Explained Lisa

"So what is the 3rd baby then?" Asked Tin-Tin

"Okay Virgil and Jo why don't you go ahead and cut the cake, once you see a pink or blue line then you will know what it is"

"Sure why not" said Virgil as he and Jo took a knife to cut the cake, once the cake is cut everyone could that the line is blue.

"So we are having two boys and a girl, we have names for them and they are going to be called: Rebecca Ruth Tracy, Joshua Jeff Alan Tracy, Scotty Junior Gordon Tracy. One will have Downs syndrome but we will have a lot of help here and on the island. Thank all for coming along it was a good night."

After all the excitement of the baby shower, Virgil and Scott are helping Jo back up the stairs with Lisa watching from behind. While the three of them are half way up. Lisa sees that Jo's waters have broken from behind.

"Scott, Virgil I don't want to panic you both, but I think we need to get Jo up the stairs quick, I think I seen Jo's waters break. Once Jo is up, I can check her out if I think what I think it is then we need to call the hospital."

"I can't be it's to early for my babies to come."

"Just let us get you up the stairs so I can check, yes the babies will be early but there is panty we can do for them now" said Lisa.

After getting Jo up the stairs and into the bedroom, Lisa looks Jo over and finds out that the first baby is down and ready. She calls Scott who is waiting outside.

"Well Lisa what is happening in there?"

"I need you to ring the hospital I have one baby down and ready to come, I also need you to call an ambulance tell them that we have a triplet birth and the first baby is crowning. Say that midwife is on the scene."

"Okay Lisa do you want me to let everyone know down stairs?"

"Please Scott that would be a big help, can you tell Tin-Tin to come up as well. This would be good for her training."
