This will contain no spoilers as I haven't even seen season 16 yet, only one or two episodes that I have watched online, season 16 hasn't aired here yet. The start of this was season 15 after Cragen had left the rest is all my story, I have taken bits and pieces from the show and added it in but all in all, it is my story with Dick Wolfe characters and a few of my own
Enjoy it, I did a bit of back ground of when Evelyn first me Olivia in my mind, how couldn't like Olivia and want Olivia to be with their son, Damn you for splitting up Bensidy

"Thank you Evelyn" her lips meeting the top of her daughters head taking in the smell of the baby shampoo and soap their soft delicate skin "I should only be an hour or two"
"Take your time love, you know I love spending time with my grand daughters" she smiled warmly at Olivia her forehead wrinkling in concern she was more agitated than before, the daughter she never had, she couldn't of picked better for her son, she had a soft spot for her, she was one of the few of Brian's girl friends she had actually met, and the only one she had liked, the one she had hoped he might one day settle down with.
"I was thinking of taking them for a walk if that was okay, I don't mind looking after them Liv, you are doing me the favour here of spending time with my grand daughters"
"That's fine, I'm sure they will enjoy that" Olivia replied absentedly
"You ok dear, anything I can do to help" she asked her concerned reaching out touching her arm
"You are helping by looking after them, sorry Evelyn but I need to get going, I will try not to be too long" Her eyes lingering on her daughters before giving Evelyn a small smile
She was worried about Olivia, this wasn't her the only time she had seen her anything but calm was after her ordeal with Lewis, Brian had shielded Olivia and her, she had never been prouder of Brian than the way she saw him look after her, it was then that she knew he had found that someone extra special, that he was in love, but she had known that she was special the first time she had met her, the moment he had introduced her to his girlfriend, they had taken her out to early dinner she had taken to her, she wasn't like any of the others, out to be liked, she could instantly tell she wasn't like the others that she was someone special to her son
"Hey Mum" as he kissed the top of her head "this is Olivia, Liv, Liv this is my mum Evelyn" watching as he pulled the chair out of the table for her
The smile on her face was so warm and engaging not phony like the others "nice to meet you Evelyn, I have heard a bit about you from Brian"
"Likewise Olivia, you work at Special Victims still it's been a while now"
"Yes, been there for 14 years now it's a hard but rewarding job, I can't see myself anywhere else than there, it holds a special place for me"
She had remembered Brian mentioning Olivia 14 years ago, when she walked into the squad room, telling his mother about the new cop the way he had spoken about her then she knew she was someone special someone her son wanted to be with but she didn't want a relationship, then he left SVU to go to Narcotics UC amongst other things, he had changed going from one girl to another none of them lasting long, most casual with a few that lasted a bit longer but deep down he was still the vulnerable cop that hardly anyone saw
"it's been a while then since you have seen Brian?"
"yes about 13 years, last century" she gave a small chuckle as he smiled at her "he hadn't changed that much, gave me a scare though when he was shot and he helped when my captain was framed" her hand touching his thigh as he mind quickly went back to them ending up sleeping together as she got the phone call from her captain just the odd hook up but even then she realised he had changed and she liked being with him.
"Mum, stop interrogating Liv" he scolded her "just enjoy the dinner"
"I haven't met many of Brian's girlfriends, they either didn't last, or he never introduced them to me" she started as Brian interrupted her
"You wonder why mum, if you interrogate them all like you are doing Liv, you would scare them off, eat your dinner, I actually do want Liv to stay around" his voice warm smiling at his mother
"So you must be someone special for my Brian to invite you along" her eyes moved up to Olivia's face sensing her nervousness at it all as Brian's eyes glared at her "I just want to get to know them love, and I'm sure Olivia is used to it, I'm not trying to scare her off, I actually like this one."
"I don't know about that" she replied with a nervous laugh "I do know that I like your son, and enjoy spending time with him, we are …. A perfect fit in a way, we both understand the job and the importance, he isn't trying to judge me, or go out with me to find out information he is who he is a wonderful guy who I enjoy spending time with" she smiled warmly at Brian squeezing his hand they both put the job first each of them understanding it was the way but enjoying the hook ups and going out not having to really define it.
"I think you are someone special Olivia, I can see it from the way my son looks at you and how you look at Brian and you are about the only girlfriend of his that I like, hope you do stay around for a while"
"phew" Olivia chuckled "I don't know what is going to happen between us Evelyn but I do enjoy spending time with Brian"
"Happy now mum, don't go scaring her away not yet" he chuckled "I still want to spend more time with her, and she's great in bed"
His laughter filling the room the shocked look on his mothers face and Olivia feeling Olivia kicking him under the table
"Brian" the warning came from Olivia "you'll be lucky to get any of that for a while" she whispered to him
"you won't be able to resist me, I know exactly what you like" he whispered huskily in her ear
"don't bet on it" she replied slapping his thigh
"I grew up with him Olivia, he hasn't changed much, even if I do wish some things were left unsaid but boys will be boys and I dread to think of most of the things my son does" smiling at both of them
Her arms enveloped her son at the end of the night whispering in his ear "Don't let this one go Brian, I like her and I can see the way you look at her, your feelings for her are strong, she is someone extra special, she is the one for you I can sense it, all these years later you haven't stopped loving her"
Kissing his mother on the head "you've had too much to eat mum, I love you and will see you soon. She is someone special but It's too soon but I'm not planning on letting her go anytime soon, I like spending time and being with her and she's hot in the sack she has stamina" chuckling as he walked away from her
Chuckling watching her son walk away he would never change putting his arm around Olivia before reaching for her hand as she leant her head against his shoulder, she knew from that moment that Olivia Benson was going to stay in her son's life and be a part of it, Brian Cassidy had a soft spot for her 13 years ago and she knew her son wasn't going to let her go this time, she didn't realise it then how much he did love her but watching him the following months helping her through William Lewis she knew then that he was never going to let her go.

Her mind going back to the phone call from Barba "Liv, are you able to come down to the station or my office today I need to go through a few things"
She didn't want to believe that it was true, she partly hoped she was imagining things and it wasn't Lewis but with Barba involved it was all becoming so real now, she didn't want Brian to worry or Evelyn, were her daughters safe, was someone watching her as she took them, could Evelyn look after them herself if something happened
"your mind is going into overtime, stop it, they will be ok, you will be ok, nothing will happen to either of them" she mused to herself
"maybe I should of said no, they had a cold something, anything to keep her inside" she thought to herself "you're just being silly here Olivia nothing is going to happen to them" she continued talking to herself
"Why can't I shake this bad feeling" she wondered pulling her coat tighter around her shivering in the cold autumn morning.

She never thought Olivia Benson would go unnoticed as she hurried into the warm building, as police hurried around her, she missed the fast pace, the running around her eyes scanning taking it all in, she wouldn't change anything she finally had what she always wanted to become a mother.
"Liv" the warm voice of her partner her eyes moving to what was her desk before she moved into the captains office back to the outstretched hand
"Sergeant Benson, I've heard so much about you, Detective Daniel Williams, nice to finally meet you" he gushed
"hope you're taking good care of my partner here" she replied her face serious
"Yes sergeant" he replied the nervousness showing in his voice "they are all teaching me well"
"Just make sure he drives most of the time, he gets a bit funny when he's not in control like that, make sure they don't teach them all their bad habits" she chuckles noticing his shoulders relaxing
"Nick, Fin, is Murphy and Barba here yet?" she questioned them
The voice of Barba answering her question as he walks through the room "Liv" his voice softer "you ready for this"
"Ready as I'll ever be" nodding at him "just tell me you have been able to get the warrants and footage, that I am not imaging things here"
"Let's find a free room to talk" Barba replied nodding to the others to follow him

She couldn't sit still pacing around the room, slamming the photos and the notes on the table her face close to Barba's "he's stalking me, these photos are inside my house, when I take my daughters for a walk" she yelled at him
"Liv, Lewis is in jail we know it isn't him doing it"
"I know that" she snapped at Barba "Look this isn't my imagination, he got that jury person Bronwyn to take them, have you checked the people who are renting the apartments across the road, checked her bank details, this is Lewis I know it"
"Liv, maybe it isn't Lewis, I have a warrant for the tapes from the jail, Taru is downloading them all now, it will take hours or more to go through them all. Liv, we don't have the man power to go through all the tenants who could look into your apartment, I will get the photos analysed, see if they are photo shopped. Maybe you and Brian should go away for a week or so?"
"I'm not being run out of my apartment" Liv snapped at Barba "Brian is back at work, do you really think Tucker would just give him time off again, he is not doing this again to me. I know he is behind it somehow and this time he isn't going to get away with it, he's playing a sick game with me, and he's not going to win. He's playing that jury woman, you just need to keep on going at her and crack her"
"We tried that Liv, but she is blinded by love, even if she is doing it she won't admit it, she is in love with Lewis" Fin replied
"What about following her, after her visit, watching her"
"Liv, let us do our job here" Barba stated trying to calm her down and reason with her
"Start doing it then" she spat at them the anger in her voice
We are going through the tapes, as soon as we get some information on Freed, we will get a warrant to go through her house, bank details, until then, our hands our tied, I need information on her, Liv stay away from her, we don't need you jeopardising the case" Barba yells out as she walks out of the room
