When Kagome arrived home, she was not only thoroughly embarrassed and ashamed, but also fatigued beyond all realistic possibilities. Her friends had been their normal selves and made no mention of her near mental break-down, but they couldn't stop her from seeing the truth. Maybe it was the stress from studying or inhaling potent textbook fumes, but she'd started to believe in their own joke.
There was no vision. There was simply an over worked Kagome, with a brain that played tricks on her, and making her think something unbelievable had come back to life because of the exchange student.
