SideshowJazz1: Well, let's just find out now.
Matt: Freaking out about what?
A-Plus Cassiopeia: Well, Amanda kind of recognized Franny as an ally by now.
The two girls gasped in horror and revulsion as they found themselves staring into the massive body of King Jellyjam. The large monster's hulking body bulged in and out as he breathed heavily. His mouth was hanging open, showing his two tongues, and his eyes were closed shut.
It took the two girls a few moments to realize King Jellyjam was asleep. They also noticed a green mist was being let out from the vents on the wall and engulfing King Jellyjam. It smelled like an almost intoxicating perfume.
"What is that thing?" Franny whispered to Amanda, careful to not wake up Jellyjam. Amanda just shrugged her shoulders, just as confused as Franny was.
Amanda inspected the room carefully. There was a small flight of steps that led to a green-and-purple door. That door led to what appeared to be a control room.
"I need to get up there," Amanda whispered. "See if I can find a way to shut off the air vents."
"But you'll have to walk past that thing," Franny reminded. "It's too dangerous."'
"We have to stop it," Amanda whispered, and thus began to sprint past the sleeping monster. Amanda was very light on her feet, and managed to avoid waking up King Jellyjam. Franny watched from afar, nervous.
Amanda felt something sliding up her leg, and she gave out a repulsed squeak and nervously looked down. A snail was sliding up her leg. It was then that she realized that King Jellyjam was sweating snails.
"Eew..." She said, disgusted. She shook the snail off and stared at the flight of stairs. The stairs had a pattern to it: one half of a step was green, and the other purple. The side of the colors switched with each step.
Amanda shrugged her shoulders, assuming that it was a simple decoration job, and stepped on the purple side of the first step. Immediately, a loud blaring siren sounded, almost like a police siren.
Franny screamed out in shock. Amanda gasped and realized too late she had set off a booby trap.
"Game over, hahaha..." A robotic voice droned on cue. The sirens alerted King Jellyjam, who awoke with a start. He turned his massive head and faced Amanda, who stood, paralyzed with fear, on the steps.
"Amanda, run!" Franny urged. Amanda snapped out of her trance and began to race up the stairs, but she didn't get far. King Jellyjam reached over and slid his massive hands around Amanda's waist. Amanda gasped as she was hoisted into the air by the purple behemoth.
Franny let out a horrified gasp and immediately began to run for the stairs. She knew it was the only way she could save Amanda.
"Augh!" Amanda shouted out as King Jellyjam squeezed her in his grasp. He opened his large jaw and let out a groan, and began to lower Amanda into his mouth. His two tongues flickered in and out. Amanda could smell his breath, and she felt like she was about to vomit.
Dashing up the stairs towards the control room, Franny tore the door open and sprinted into the room. There was a series of buttons on the set, but Franny saw a bright green button specifically. Seeing Amanda about to get devoured, Franny pressed the button quickly.
Amanda was only inches away from King Jellyjam's mouth when the air vents shut off. King Jellyjam paused for a brief second, realizing that the vents were off. Once realization kicked in, he growled in horror. His smell began to overtake him instantly.
"Yes," Franny whispered, a smile on her face.
King Jellyjam moaned out in agony as his smell engulfed the room. Amanda, still entrapped in his grasp, began to turn green from intoxication.
King Jellyjam's eyes rolled into the back of his head, and he released Amanda. With a scream, she plummeted right into Jellyjam's jaw.
"No!" Franny shouted when she saw Amanda fall into Jellyjam's jaw. Mere moments after Amanda vanished into King Jellyjam's jaw, the monster began to melt down, dying from his own smell.
By now, the smell had reached the control room. Even though she was dead, Franny could still smell, and she was disgusted by the horrid stench. She plugged her nose in revulsion, attempting to block out the smell.
By now, King Jellyjam was only a puddle on the floor. Once she was sure he was dead, Franny took off out the door and ran into the room to inspect his dead body.
Franny rummaged through the giant puddle, trying to find signs of life. Eventually, her hands felt flesh. With a hopeful squeak, Franny pulled a half-conscious, but still-living, Amanda out from the giant puddle. She was covered in snails and she looked like she would have to take a dozen showers a day to wash out the smell, but otherwise, she was okay.
"I think... I'm going to be... sick," Amanda groaned and collapsed into Franny's arms. Franny understandingly patted her on the back.
"Hey, you saved my life... thank you..." Amanda whispered, then lost consciousness. Franny held Amanda aloft, then sighed to herself.
"Looks like we're going to have to find another way out of here," She said to herself.
Aaron sat in his room, thinking to himself. After Sarah had ordered him to be sent home, he had been confined to his room the whole day. A policeman stood outside the door, keeping guard for intruders.
Aaron groaned, and walked up to a photo of his family, taken a few years back. With a sigh, Aaron picked up the photo, reminiscing memories of his family. They all looked so happy in the photo, even Sarah and Mrs. Maas. He wondered how everything had gone to hell so quickly.
Aaron set the photo back on the counter, and he then knew he had to do something. He had to find a way to stop all of the madness.
Without thinking clearly, Aaron grabbed a small table and chucked it at the window, smashing it open.
"Hey, what's going on in there?!" The policeman asked from outside the room, and Aaron saw the doorknob begin to turn. Quickly, he dove out the window.
Luckily, it wasn't a short fall, and Aaron landed on the sidewalk on all fours. Quickly, he got up and began to sprint down the sidewalk. He didn't know what to do, all he knew was that he and to go to Horrorland and clear everything up. Before long, he heard the door open behind him, signaling that the officer had come out the door.
"Hey, stop!" The officer shouted, and jumped onto his motorcycle and drove after him. Aaron ran as fast as he could. He was a fast runner, but even he couldn't outrun the motorcycle.
Just as the policeman was nearing him, a stone flew threw the air like a dodge-ball. It clonked the officer in the head, knocking him off his bike and sending him crashing onto the sidewalk. Aaron stopped running and turned to stare at the unconscious policeman. Then, he turned to see who had thrown the rock.
He saw Billy, Sheena, and Della running down the street towards him. Behind them were the other kids and the Mud Monsters. Aaron shouted out in terror when he saw the hundreds of Mud Monsters approach.
"Don't worry, they're on our side," Alicia explained quickly as they reached him.
'What is going on?" Aaron asked, stunned.
"It's a long story," Billy said. "We'll explain to you on the way. But right now, we have to get to Horrorland."
Aaron was too surprised to argue, so he joined the kids and the Mud Monsters as they took off down the streets towards Horrorland.
