She was in a parking garage on the third floor, as protected as she could be as the storm raged on. Curled up in a blanket and a book in the small space left in the back of the van she enjoyed the sound of thunder. She knew the rains would help the crops, she just hoped they wouldn't wash them out.

"Angel?" A voice cut through static from the walkie making her jump.

She was closer to the edge of he city and she scrambled to get to it, "Daryl?"

There was silence then more static, "Angel are you there?"

"Daryl, I'm here. Can you hear me?" She spoke back, clinging to the sound of his voice, it was sweeter than she'd thought it would be.

"C'mon Angel, say something, tell me you can hear me." His voice sounded desperate, but she knew now that he couldn't hear her back, her battery must be too low. She fell back against the wall of the van and clung to the device, hoping to hear more of his voice. She smiled when she heard it again, "Angel…I'm sorry."

"It's okay." She said back, but not pressing the buttons, she didn't want to kill the battery, she just wanted to hear him.

"I shouldn have yelled at you, tried to stop you." He sighed into the walkie, he must be keeping the button pushed down. "You better be okay, so I can say this to your face." She laughed at him, "Dammit Angel, come back. I miss you." He wasn't angry, he was pleading, "Please, I need to see you. I need your laugh, your smile, the sight of you wakin up in the mornin. I need your hand in mine, I need your hair in my face as we sleep, I need…I need you."

She felt a tear come out of her eye hearing him, she missed him this much too. He continued, "I can't do this without you, without knowin your okay. Please." His voice cracked, "Please come home. Come home to me. Please. I love you."

Moving to the front seat of the car she went to start the van before looking outside, to the rain and lightening beyond the garage, it was stupid to drive in this weather. Looking back at the walkie that had become silent she knew he wanted her to come home alive, so she stayed there, in the garage as the storm passed.

Pulling up to the library she opened the doors to the building, backing the van inside. She would empty it out before heading to Sanctuary, she didn't want them knowing what she had, she wanted to see what they'd managed to do while she was gone. But she wouldn't sort it or deliver it until she'd seen him.

Daryl was working on his bike in a back office, he didn't want to keep it outside while he was sleeping since someone could come along and take it, plus he could set up all his tools on the desk so he could tinker while keeping his mind off of the fact that Angel still wasn't back yet. When he heard shuffling and thumps out in the main area, he grabbed his crossbow, ready to kill whoever had come into their space.

As he turned the corner, he lowered the bow, seeing Angel setting a box down on the ground. Her hair was shorter now, the ponytail she had it in only reaching the nape of her neck, but other than that she looked the same, she didn't look like she'd been hurt or attacked, she looked perfect. "Angel."

Her head turned at the soft voice saying her name. He was nervous of what her reaction would be seeing him there, after the last time they'd seen each other. But her face broke out into a relieved smile at seeing him. He dropped the bow as she ran to him, and he caught her in his arms, her legs wrapping around him as they embraced. Daryl held her tight, he never wanted to let her go again. She pressed her lips to his before telling him, "I need you too."

"You heard that?" He couldn't help but smile, embarrassed. She nodded, moving hair out of his face. "Why didn't you answer back?"

"I tried, my battery was too low." She ran her fingers down his cheek, to the stubble of his beard, "I started back as soon as the storm passed."

"I'm sorry." He chocked out, "I'm sorry I said that to you."

"No, it's okay." She shook her head, "I get it, it was in the moment. I don't hold it against you. I'm sorry for just leaving, I should-"

He cut her off with a deep kiss. "No, you had every right. I was an ass."

"But you're my ass." She smiled down at him, "And I wouldn't have it any other way."

She kissed him again and he set her down on the front desk, cupping her face with both of his hands as their kiss deepened. All he'd wanted for months was this, her kiss, her in his arms, just her. Her fingers ran through his hair, other hand gripping at his shirt. She'd missed him more than she knew, his smell, his voice, his hands, his hair, all of it. He knew what she wanted, and he wasn't going to deny her anything. Taking the hem of her shirt he lifted it off of her, hands moving around her back, god how he'd missed the feeling of her skin.

Angel began undoing the buttons of his shirt but then pulled away, slightly breathless, "Daryl, we don't have any-"

"Wanna stop?" He pulled her close to him, hips flush with hers.

"No." She answered back, her hands pulling his mouth back to hers, "All I want is you."

He kissed her passionately again as she continued removing his shirt. They both knew what this encounter might produce, but they could handle it, they always handled anything thing thrown at them. Together. He'd been thinking about it more and more while she was gone, and he knew it was something he wanted anyways, something he'd wanted for a while, and it seemed as safe as it would ever be.

He removed her bra and his hand toyed with her breast, a moan coming from her, she'd missed his hands too. His mouth traveled down her neck and he attached his lips to her chest, he was going to make up for that fight and she wasn't going to stop him. Her hips gripped him tight as he sucked on her, his tongue toying with the bud.

As his mouth worked, he undid her pants, lifting her up as he pulled everything from underneath her. He had to stop to take her boots off but instead of returning to her breast, he dipped his tongue into her. She moaned his name loudly, she was pretty sure at this point there wasn't a part of him her body didn't miss. Pushing a finger inside of her, he felt her hand grip at his hair, and he loved it. He was used to them doing this after being apart, but it had never been after this long, or a fight and he didn't realize until he heard her moans how much he ached for her.

"God, Daryl." She whined as she came, her fingers scratching at his head. He didn't start slowing down until her orgasm finished. Kissing back up her body she held his face, "I want you. More than anything."

He wasn't going to say no as he kicked off his shoes before pulling off his pants. He gently pushed her down to the side so that she was lying across the desk as he climbed onto top of her, lips retaking hers as he pushed inside her. He couldn't stop the guttural moan that came out of him, it'd been so long since he felt her around him.

Angel had missed the way he actually felt, without a condom on, and she loved it, actually feeling him as he thrust into her. She could feel him gripping her hip as he thrust and hiked her leg up higher and his hand moved to gripping her ass. Tightening her muscles, she squeezed him as he pushed into her, she knew how much he liked that, she'd been gone a while, she owed him a few things. He moaned, "Dammit Ang, don't do that."

"Why?" She whispered in his ear, her breath tickling his skin, as she squeezed again.

"God." He moaned again before concentrating, "Don't. I don wanna stop, not for a while."

"We have the rest of the day." She whispered, nibbling on his ear, "And night."

He felt her hand go up his stomach to his chest as her eyes gazed up at him, a sultry smile on her lips. As much as he loved when she was in this kind of mood, he hated it too, because it just made him that much closer to finishing. Fuck it. He told himself, picking up his pace, pushing into her harder. He put his arms under each of her legs, holding her knees to his elbow so that he was pumping into her all the way.

This is what she'd wanted. Her hands gripped at his back and she gasped as he attached his mouth to her neck. He normally didn't leave a mark on her, he normally just nibbled enough to make her moan, he only did this after a day or so of teasing each other. But she wasn't complaining, she could see how more than two months apart could be worse than teasing.

He loved the way her nails dug into him as he sucked on her neck, her thighs tightening around his waist. Finally, he left her neck, finding her lips again and he kissed her hard. This wasn't his plan for when he first saw her, but he didn't care, and he could tell by her orgasm that she didn't either. Sweat was beading off of them now and Daryl knew he was getting close, but that didn't stop his rhythm. Her whines and panting of pleasure were all he wanted to hear, so he pushed harder, her noises getting louder as her back started to arch to him. He knew this was it, he knew when she came again he wouldn't be able to stop himself and that was alright, because she was right, they had the rest of the day, and he didn't want her dressed for a second of it.

Her thighs gripped him, she knew he was close by his grunts, and she cried out, "Daryl! I'm close!"

He didn't say anything, pressing his head into the crook of her neck as she began to tighten around him again, his own pressure building and when she let out a pleasure filled, high pitched moan, her back arching, pressing her body completely against him he couldn't hold it anymore and exploded into her. Her nails dug into his back, it'd been so long since she felt that.

Letting her legs down he kissed her gently as he pulled out of her, "I didn plan on this when I saw you."

"Really?" She asked breathlessly, "What did you have planned?"

"An apology." He kissed her cheek, "A real one."

"You just gave it." She laughed, "And so much more."

He went to open his mouth when he heard the growl of a walker. Jumping from the desk he moved quickly to his cross bow as she cursed, "Shit, I forgot the doors were still open."

Shooting the walker in the head he came back over to the desk, grabbing his boxers. As she went to grab her own underwear, he stopped her, "I'll close the doors and check for more. You stay here." She raised an eyebrow to him, and he kissed her tenderly, "You said the rest of the day and all night. Imma show you how much I missed you. But those ain't allowed."

She laughed as he pushed her clothes back to the floor and headed off to the front of the building. When he came back, she was leaning on the desk and he dropped the bow again, picking her up, taking her to where their makeshift bed was still on the floor. Laying her down he crawled on top of her again. She smirked, "Ready to go again?"

"Lookin at this maybe." He ran his hand up her side to her breast, "You're perfect."

"Daryl." She laughed, shoving him slightly. God, he missed it when she did that.

Kissing her upper neck by her ear he whispered, his voice raspy, "You are. And I ain't gunna be away from you again." This is how he'd planned their reunion to be, "Imma tell Rick someone else is gunna have to be at Sanctuary."

"When?" She looked at him, the time apart must have really gotten to him for him to be saying this. Angel couldn't help but feel guilty now.

"Tomorrow if you want." He trailed kisses all along her neck on both sides, covering the skin thoroughly with his lips.

"No." She knew that would be too soon for Rick, that it would piss him off. Her breathing was uneven again as his mouth started on her shoulder, down to her collar bone, "A month or so."

"Angel." He didn't want to be away from her that long.

"I'll come." She ran her fingers in his hair, "I'll stay at Sanctuary until then. Keep Rick sated."

"You sure?" Daryl looked at her, he didn't want her agreeing to this just because of what he was currently doing to her body.

She nodded at him, "I'm sure."

He smiled at his wife, knowing she didn't want to destroy his friendship even though she didn't like Rick much anymore. Placing his lips back to her chest he continued his gentle and slow exploration of her body, making sure he remembered every curve and mark.

A/N: Hey guys, a quick two things that I hate myself for even doing:

1) So I kinda got another idea for a different Daryl story that's kinda sorta really different from this one that doesn't rely on the show (despite how much I love my cannon writing.) And I wanted to know what you guys thought of that idea!

2) I hate myself so much for doing this, but, I've been writing a bit of original stories over on a different site, wattpad, and if ya'll wanna check it out you can, if you don't I don't care. It's just where my original stories are that aren't fanfictions, my fanfics will always be here, I promise! But that's the stuff I write when I have writers block for here or I'm on a break. If you guys wanna check it out, my user name is EvaLea33. There are four ongoing stories there and two that are very NSFW, the other two have content similar to this. But yeah, just doing a shameless plug that actually involves a lot of shame at the fact that I'm doing it, but I wanted you guys to know just in case.

But that's it! Hope you enjoyed the chapter and don't forget to let me know what you think! :)
