To: Trish
I have the day off and my next three shows are in Miami. Just got off the plane. See you tomorrow.
After shoving my phone back in my purse, I reajust my wig and pay the taxi man. I step out of the cab and stand on the side walk for a while, taking in the sight infront of me. I take a deep breath and walk forward. I knock on the door, which swings open a few seconds later.
"Ally?" Amanda gasps.
"Hi." I greet her. "Is Austin home?"
"No, he's at a photo-shoot. But come in, he'll be back soon." She says, opening the door wider to let me in. "So, what brings you here? Aren't you supposed to be on tour?" She asks, sitting down on the couch. I copy her actions.
"I'm supposed to be. But I'm here." I say simply.
"Why?"
"Remember Austin's interview last week?" I ask.
"The one where he said he was still in love with you?"
I nod. "Yeah. That's why. And, since I didn't have anything planned today, I decided to come back in Miami. My next three shows are here anyway."
"Does Austin know you're here?"
"Nope. I didn't tell anyone."
"Won't they look for you?"
"I texted Trish when I got here. That way, no one tried to stop me." I explain, proud of my perfect plan.
She smiles. "Austin misses you, you know?"
I nod, fighting back tears. It's been 19 days since I left for my tour. Lately, anything Austin-related has made me tear up. "I miss him too." I tell her, my voice breaking.
She looks at me carefully. "You really love him, don't you?"
I nod. "I really do."
She smirks. "But what the hell do you see in him?"
I laugh, wiping tears away. "It's not the same for you, he's your brother."
"Maybe. But still, tell me." She says, crossing her arms.
"Imagine the perfect guy." I tell her. She nods. "Now multiply that by ten. That's what I see in him."
"Wow."
I giggle. "Yeah."
"So, are going to get back together with him?" She asks.
I nod. "Well, at least try to."
"Trust me, he won't say no." She says as I hear the front door open. We both turn to see Austin taking off his shoes, looking down.
"Hey, Austin." Amanda greets him.
"Hey, Am—" He cuts himself short as we make eye-contact. His jaw drops slightly as he stares at me, eyes wide. "Ally?!"
"I'll leave you two alone." Amanda says before walking away.
"What... What are you doing here?" Austin asks me as he makes his way to the couch and sits down next to me.
"Not here to punch you in the face, that's for sure." I joke, remembering what he said during his interview.
He chuckles. "That's a relief." He jokes back. Our laughter dies down and he stares at me, biting his lip. "I missed you."
I smile slightly. "I missed you too." My voice comes out as a whisper.
"So, how have you been?" He asks me.
"To be honest... Awful."
He frowns. "Why is that?"
"For multiple reasons. Most of them concerning you."
He chuckles. "Same here." His features soften. "Alls?"
"What?"
He slips his hand into mine. "I still love you."
I smile, nodding. "I know."
"Do you still love me?" He asks cautiously, as if I'm a bomb about to explode.
I intertwine our fingers. "Of course I do." Remembering something, I punch his arm lightly with the hand that isn't holding Austin's. 'Way to ruin the moment, Ally,' I scold myself.
"Oww! What was that for?!" He whines.
"For kissing me after we agreed to be friends! And for being an idiot!" I exclaim.
"I thought you said you wouldn't punch me!" Austin protests.
"I said I wouldn't punch you in the face. That was your arm." I tell him matter-of-factly.
He rolls his eyes. "Smartass."
"Hey!" I exclaim, punching him again.
"Okay, okay." He grabs my wrist with his free hand. "How about we take a different approach?" He suggests, leaning in.
"Different—" Before I have the chance to ask him what he means, his lips are on mine.
Oh.
That's what he meant.
Realization taking over me, I don't hesitate to kiss him back. I wrap an arm around his neck as his hand find their way to my waist.
"Hey, guys, I'm just going to—Oh." Amanda stops herself as she notices our position.
"Amanda." Austin groans, pulling away from me.
"Sorry, sorry! I swear, I didn't me to ignore your... Erm, reunion." She says awkwardly, pointing at us back and fort with her finger. "I was just going to tell you I was going out for a bit."
"Yeah, okay." Austin nods carelessly, waving her off, obviously wanting her to leave us alone. As soon as we hear the front door shut, he turns to me. "Where were we?" He asks, leaning in. Just as our lips brush each other, the front door opens again.
"I'm home!" Mimi yells.
"YOU'RE KIDDING ME, RIGHT?!" Austin yells in frustration.
"Geez, Austin, what's got your—" Alex stops as he sees me. "Oh."
"Gosh, is it too much to ask for me to have a peaceful reunion with my girlfriend?!" Austin asks them, still annoyed by all the interruptions.
I raise an eyebrow. "Girlfriend?"
He points at me. "We'll talk about that later."
"Well, Honey, as much as I'm happy for you and Ally, you're not the only one living here." Mimi tells him.
"Yeah! You tell him right, Mom! Deal with it, Austin! We all live here!" Alex exclaims. "Well, except for Ally. But she could as well, considering all the nights she spent here when you two were together. Speaking of, are you back together?"
Austin gives him a sharp glare. "We would be already if we weren't interrupted all the time."
Alex raises his hands in surrender. "Okay, okay, I'm leaving. Geez, no need to be rude." He mumbles, but loud enough for us to hear as he walks away.
"I swear, if somebody else interrupts us, I'm going to kill them." Austin whispers to me, leaning in.
"Even if I interrupt us?" I ask, leaning away.
He frowns. "What do you mean?"
"Well, I'm not the kind of girl who kisses a guy that isn't her boyfriend." I hint.
He smirks, catching on. "Well, then." He starts playing with my fingers. I look down at our hands and smile. "Ally Dawson, will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend again?"
I grin, looking back up at him. "Why, of course, Austin Moon." I lean in, and just as our lips are about to touch—
"Ally, are you staying for diner?"
"MOM!"
BAM! Done!
Gosh, I know, I know. This chapter is really short, rushed, and crappy. I'm sorry, I wrote it at, like, three in the morning. But you should be happy, at least they're back together ;)
So, only a few chapters left, guys. I don't know how many, but I know it's not a lot. I'm sorry in advance if the ending comes out rushed, I just don't know what to write anymore. The story's kinda just... dead. But that doesn't mean I'll rush the ending. I don't rush it on purpose.
Random Question of the Day: Who's excited for Heart Made Up On You?! I AM!
Time for a little Q&A!
ur little noddle (guest): Are you going to keep writing this or not?
My answer: Okay, first of all, I LOVE YOU FOR NAMING YOURSELF UR LITTLE NODDLE! Second of all, I won't stop writing it until it's over and the epilogue is written and posted (no, I decided that there won't be a sequel). I don't give up on my stories, no matter what happens. I hate it when authors do that.
kk (guest): Which character fits best your personality from Austin & Ally?
My answer: I'm a mix of everyone, really. But I think it's really between Ally and Dez. I have Dez's craziness, and Ally's awkwardness, but I also have Trish's loudness and Austin's outgoing...ness :P
kk (guest): If you could change ONE thing about Austin and Ally or Trish and Dez, or just the show in general, what would it be?
My answer: MORE KISSES! And more Auslly! Maybe the fact that it's a Disney show. I don't know, that show's one of my favorites for a reason :P
tephriam: Do you think it is better to be outgoing and free or more reserved and shy?
My answer: I think as long as you're being yourself, anything is fine :)
livelearnlovesing: Do you watch Boy Meets World? If you do, what's your favorite episode?
My answer: I started watching it on Youtube a few days ago, so I'm not far enough into it to really tell you what my favorite episode is. But it's a really awesome show. I hope Disney doesn't mess it up with Girl Meets World. It seems good for now, though.
rauraisawesome: Do you have an Instagram?
My answer: Nope.
Thanks for your questions!
Until next time,
R5AAFan :)
