The Elysian Fields

„So sad. Now he's dead, too." Adam sniffled. Then his eyes went white and he trembled while another seal was broken.

«´¨'•.¸¸.•'¨`»

They couldn't find their car outside the mental hospital. Instead, they found a figure at the end of the driveway, man or woman – they weren't sure, and they stayed that way even when they came straight up to them.

„Gabriel?"

The archangel was staring into the distance.

„Come with me," he said barely above a whisper.

„Where's Castiel?" Dean asked.

„I told him to keep watch over their bodies until I bring you."

Gabriel said no more, he just reached out his hands and waited till all three and a half Hunters were touching him.

«´¨'•.¸¸.•'¨`»

She looked as if she died a mere minute ago. Two blades were still piercing her heart. A charred outline of torn wings decorated the ground around her.

His body was clearly brought over from where he was killed and now it was lying next to hers.

Castiel was kneeling above them.

„I closed their eyes, it's what people do," he announced self-consciously.

„Thanks, Cas," Dean clasped his shoulder.

„We didn't even ask for her host's name. Some family's been missing a thirteen-year-old girl for almost a month and we didn't even ask..." Chloe worried.

„Emily Pérez," Adam spoke up. „They found lots and lots of blood from her wrists in her room, so they called her a dead girl. She has a stone angel on her grave."

Gabriel gave the boy a studying look.

„She let me touch her," Adam explained, reminding the archangel of Lucifer's famous Touch of Truth.

„We shall give them our own funeral," Gabriel decided. „A wake to which we shall invite anyone willing to fight – to stop my brothers from bringing the end to the Three Worlds."

A sound of flapping wings announced the arrival of a handsome Asian man.

„Samael," Gabriel choked up with emotion. „Thank you for holding them off while I...I was afraid you wouldn't make it..."

„I'm here. I'm with you, brother. Whatever you want to do, I'm with you."

„Thank you. I – I need your help straightaway. You and Castiel should infiltrate Heaven and convert as many of our brethren as you can. Please go to Ramiel first, before the news reaches his garrison and they set up a trap for us. You'll have two earthly days."

„Are you sure you want to send me? You're the Messenger."

„And you're the Seducer. Your way is quicker."

„Even with your Ramiel?"

„Especially with Ramiel. We weren't on the best of terms when I left."

„As you wish, then."

„I wanted to talk," Castiel hesitated, gaze locked on the Hunters he came to view as his friends and wards. „But I guess..."

Chloe crouched and whispered to Adam: „Would you like to go say goodbye to Cas and shake his hand?"

After the rather comedic handshake, Adam had little comprehensive information to forward: in Castiel's mind, there was experience to be processed, questions to be brought up and opinions to be fully shaped. This stage of forming one's own judgement was so new to him that he desired to discuss it with his humans. For example, did they feel just as guilty as him? Was it their fault that they took positions around the warehouse to protect Chloe and Adam but not the third one, the strongest one, the one who got killed? Whose fault was it, was it his? Was it?

„Be careful, angel man," the boy said.

„Damn careful," Dean earnestly squeezed Castiel's shoulder.

Two flaps of invisible wings later, there was only Sam, Dean, Chloe, Adam and Gabriel in the room.

And Lilith and Azrael.

If you count the bodies of their hosts, that is, which is probably a little unfair to poor Emily Pérez and Christopher Walken. But then again, even Lilith and Azrael became vessels for other things: namely the fifth and sixth seal to Lucifer's cage.

„The Whore of Babylon and the death of an archangel," Sam listed them. „The last one is supposed to be Lucifer's birth on Earth. How do you think that'll happen now that you know who's causing it?" he asked Gabriel.

„A portal to Hell must be opened," came a quiet answer. „When we carried Lucifer's cage into Hell, we made our way with the Staff of Moses."

„You think they will use it again to break the last seal?" Dean asked.

„I suppose. Yes. They will need the Antichrist with them, though."

„And what happens then?" Chloe asked.

„The Holy War will begin."

„How? What will it look like?"

„The Prophecy speaks in metaphors. The Apocalypse is delivered to Earth by Four Horsemen: War, Famine, Pestilence, and Death."

The Hunters exchanged worried glances. That sounded like a hell of a metaphor.

«´¨'•.¸¸.•'¨`»

„Thanks, I couldn't do it without you," Chloe said for the twentieth time that day and she was right; without the Justice League, this event wouldn't be respectable or peaceable at all. It wasn't just a double funeral – it was a summit meeting of the most powerful players on their side of the Apocalypse (the no-but-thank-you side).

Demigods were expected to attend – Chloe used Artemis's sigils on her hands and feet for an invitation ritual, so hopefully, it worked. Fairies and possibly other persecuted peoples from Heaven were coming, too, which was sure to cause friction with whatever angels Samael and Castiel were going to bring. Not to mention the mysterious letter they received from Hell – whoever it was from, with forceful manners that reminded them of Lilith, they decided to invite themselves, too.

Sam found a perfect place for the event: a small roadside hotel named The Elysian Fields. They rented the whole thing. There was so much to do: estimating their guests' preferences, buying and delivering food, preparing rooms, getting up tech support, looking for the best kind of magical protection – their good old demon traps and angel sigils were out of the question because both sides were attending and fairy power-blocking would appear like favoritism...

„Got it! A spell that creates a no violence zone based on visitors' oaths. It's so much easier than trying to strip everyone of their powers..."

„Zatanna, you and that book are a match made in...well, you know."

The whole JLA came to help: Zatanna, Clark, Oliver, Bart, Victor, AC, Dinah, even John Jones and Cartel Hall who were not regular members but whose experience with deities and extraterrestrial nations was priceless. Gabriel volunteered to prepare the funeral ceremony itself while Sam and Dean researched every single potential guest.

„Incoming: nectar and ambrosia!" Oliver hollered.

„Great! So we're done with the veggie menu."

„We're still not doing a human menu, right?"

„Definitely not. Hawkman said that if the human meat isn't fresh, it's a bigger insult than if there's no meat at all."

„Great. 'Cause robbing morgues would really cramp my style."

Chloe chuckled, and as her eyes went to the dining hall ceiling, she caught sight of Adam.

„Adam, how did you get there?!"

The boy was looking out the top window, the small round one right under the roof. There were no stairs leading up there and only a small ledge to stand on.

„Adam. Adam!"

The five-year-old wasn't responding. By then, Chloe and Oliver were joined by Victor and Bart.

„Lucifer!" she tried. That finally got the boy's attention.

„What are you doing?"

„Looking at the doggies. They want to play."

„What the...?" Bart frowned in confusion.

„Oh, he keeps attracting big black dogs. Don't worry, they're not rabid or anything, they just want to protect him."

„That's not what I meant. You said the kid was an angel's vessel."

„Didn't you read my last report?"

„Of course I - - ok, I skimmed it."

„Bottom line, Lucifer is an angel," Oliver explained.

Was an angel," the boy corrected him from way up.

„Not helping," Oliver grunted.

„Well he's certainly not a demon, or the devil, if that's you're wondering," Chloe ended the discussion. „How did you get up?" she asked said non-devil.

„I flied."

„Flew."

„I flew."

„Can you get down? Bart here can get up to you in no time, would you like his help?"

„No! I can do it myself," Adam said stubbornly. He pushed away from the window, Chloe gasped, and then very slowly, as if through water, he descended into her arms.

„That was really cool," Chloe said, shakily.

„When seals break, I get bigger and bigger on the inside. When the last one goes away, I won't need a mommy anymore," he mumbled.

„Good thing you call me Aunt Chloe, then. Let's go take a look at our room."

«´¨'•.¸¸.•'¨`»

„Oh my god," Chloe exclaimed as she entered their honeymoon suite.

There was a huge, pink, heart-shaped bed in the middle of the main room. Sadly, none of her boyfriends had the guts to spread across it and do their research there. What a shame, the sight would be priceless.

Adam let go of her hand and went to use the bed as a trampoline. In his typical un-childish way, he took his shoes off without having to be asked.

„You see? Told ya we couldn't give this room to anyone," Dean said.

„Better us than the guests, I guess," Chloe was still taking in the pink. It was everywhere, carpet to chandelier.

„And with the two fold-out sofa chairs in the other room, Adam and Bobby can fit in here, too. We should stay close," Sam added.

„Bobby?"

„Oh, yeah. Uh, we called him for info, and when he found out why we needed it, he sort of..."

„Invited himself?"

„Yeah."

„He's not the first. I wonder if he'll be the last..."

„How are the preparations going?"

„Good. Great. I can't believe my boys came and brought everyone. I actually won't be needed for the next hour or so. Should've let the JLA do my wedding."

Dean huffed.

„Zatanna's grimoire is yet again saving the day; Hawkman's input is super helpful; and – wait, what was that?"

„Nothing," he denied it immediately.

„I guess we kinda hoped we became your boys by now," Sam admitted.

„Well, you didn't. You're my men," Chloe shrugged.

The brothers stopped to look at her for a bit.

„That's even better," Dean grinned.

Sam hummed his agreement and then playfully caught Adam mid jump: „Hey, I downloaded some audiobooks for when we're in the car. Wanna check them out and start the first one?"

He took the kid into the smaller room, sat him on a sofa chair and showed him how to use his iPhone.

„I take it we're finally gonna discuss what happened inside the madhouse?" Chloe whispered to Dean.

„Actually, me and Sam already talked about that..."

„You did?"

„Yeah," Dean grumbled.

„I like it when you two talk. What did I miss?"

Dean rolled his eyes.

„Sam thinks that what we should take from it is that we met each other at the right time. That we were all too, quote unquote, immature for each other before then," he said begrudgingly.

„You don't think so?"

„It seemed to me like you two were always perfect for each other while I was left in the dust."

„At first sight, yeah," she didn't contradict him rightaway. „I mean, I was freaked out when you hit on me, you were so out of my league and I was so judgy, I didn't even consider that you could really mean it. Imagine if you convinced me and we started dating – I'd be the most paranoid girlfriend, I'd suspect you of everything from cheating to planning world domination."

„You wouldn't date me. You didn't even give me a second glance."

„Yeah, but Dean...You were making it pretty clear that what you wanted was just another notch in your bedpost."

„I was being honest. I didn't do relationships back then."

„And I did."

„Ok, yeah, no point in us two meeting at seventeen. Definitely not at my seventeen, that'd be just creepy. Hell, not even at your seventeen – I wasn't that different when I was twenty-four...But you and Sam? Any time."

„I'm not quite sure about that," Chloe frowned in thought. „He seemed terrified of dating a girl that has chemistry with his brother. That would eat away at him for sure, even if I didn't date you at the same time. Besides, he had this whole dream about a normal life, and some of the specifics of it..."

Chloe kept talking even as Sam joined them; she simply redirected her words at him.

„My adventurous lifestyle, for example, didn't seem to fit in that dream."

„I know, right? We needed good timing, too," Sam nodded.

„I can't stop thinking about it, though. Do you still want those things? A house? A family? A safe life? I always secretly thought that our relationship was a bit superior to a normal one because ours makes three people happy, except I questioned Dean's happiness sometimes. I didn't think to question yours. I'm sorry I ask you guys all the time, but..."

Sam gave his brother an exasperated eye roll. Then he decided to take a page out of Dean's book and answer by planting a big kiss on her lips.

He gently held her face and murmured: „I used to be real dumb about that. The way I lived made me miserable, so I got fixated on exactly the opposite." He kissed her again and again. „But I grew out of it. I'm also not intimidated by Dean's sex mojo anymore."

He said that just as Dean sneaked up on her and surprised her with his arms around her stomach and his lips on the Dean spot.

„Normal doesn't equal happy. Not for me. Not for us," Sam concluded.

„I'm sorry I fuss so much, I just, I love you both, and I wanna make sure..."

„Don't worry all the time," Dean's deep voice so close to her ear made her shiver.

She turned her head and kissed him, too.

„You said it yourself, we're your men. You don't have to do the communicating for all three of us. If we're ever unhappy about something, we'll let you know," Sam expanded on the thought before peppering the side of her exposed neck with kisses and nibbles.

She reacted by playfully squeezing the hair at the back of his head.

When she went from Dean's lips back to Sam's, Dean's hands made their way under her shirt.

Chloe moaned. It was amazing how much the brothers could do without a single awkward touch between themselves. They were becoming experts. It made her fantasize about having them both in bed at the same time – but there were things she didn't do in bed because it made her uncomfortable, and she imagined that on their list, having sex with their brother involved would be at the top.

But...Where was the line, then?

Sam had absolutely no problem swallowing her little moans while Dean teased her breasts through her bra. Sam himself was working on the buttons of her shirt, which she didn't notice untill she felt a loss of warmth on her skin.

A flash of reason alarmed her when she felt Dean's fingers find her nipples under the bra and Sam's hand ghost over the crotch of her pants.

„What if Adam comes in?"

„I locked the door," Sam murmured while kissing the corner of her mouth.

Wait, did they plan this? What else did she miss from that talk they had?

„But what if he hears over the headphones? Audiobooks have quiet parts...We should...ah...try not to traumatize the future half-Lucifer right off the bat," she whispered.

Dean kept distracting her but Sam hesitated.

„Can you be really really quiet?"

„Me? Why just me?"

„Because we're gonna make you cum," Dean breathed into her ear.

„Will I get to touch you, too? I like reciprocating..."

„Of course."

„You know, personally, I'd like to lick you all over but I guess that's too much..."

Dean chuckled: „Later. Individually."

Sam unzipped her pants and slipped his hand inside.

Dean dropped into a crouch, pulled her pants down and lovingly smoothed his hands up the backs of her legs and twice over her buttocks just for good measure. She could feel him place a kiss on her soft skin just outside the hem of her panties.

Chloe smiled. The feeling was mutual. She liked his ass, too.

Their hands made it easier for her to step out of her pant legs – and harder at the same time.

„We can't do it on the bed, Adam likes it, he could sense what happened from a touch," Sam said.

„We don't need a bed," Dean decided. Chloe yelped as he wrapped his arms around her hips, picked her up and backed up until his back connected with a wall.

Sam shrugged and followed them. Somehow, without communicating a word, he knew to switch to Chloe's chest while Dean's hand slipped inside her panties.

Dean was leaning against the wall with his legs spread so that their groins were at the same height and every time he rubbed Chloe's clit, she rubbed against him. She twisted around to kiss him while Sam attacked her breasts with both his hands and lips. When her neck started to hurt, she switched back to Sam's mouth.

Her climax came unexpected this time; she thought she'd need another minute or two. She leaned against Dean and braced herself on Sam's large frame while she gasped and shuddered.

„Is your hand tired?" Sam asked his brother. It was the first time they spoke to each other while touching her this intimately.

„Nope," Dean's eyebrows went up into a cunning arch.

„Then let's try this for round two," Sam got rid of her underwear, went to his knees and found perfect access to her hot wet opening without getting in Dean's way.

„Oh god," Chloe gasped.

His long finger slipped inside and curved in search of her G-spot.

„Oh my fucking god," she whispered.

If Sam is going to...and Dean is gonna keep going – their hands will brush, bump, touch – they don't mind?

„You ready?"

„Yeah," both Chloe and Dean answered.

«´¨'•.¸¸.•'¨`»

„But I do feel like something's missing in my life. A dog," Sam suddenly said.

Chloe burst out laughing. After three orgasms in a row, she found everything funny.

„Hey! Rule number two. No dogs in the car," Dean rattled off.

„You can play with the ones that always follow Adam...While we're working on that silly rule," Chloe smirked.

„I won't budge," Dean warned.

„What's rule number one?"

„Don't take a joint from a guy named Don," Sam and Dean recited.

„Shit," Chloe laughed out, „I think I did that, first year in college."

«´¨'•.¸¸.•'¨`»

The gods arrived.

Lots of them.

It was the scariest sight. The Hunters had no idea how to kill half of them – and for a good third, killing would be aiming too high, because they wouldn't even know how to defend themselves.

Dean's fingers kept caressing the Colt inside his jacket pocket, now loaded with Bobby's bullets that hopefully worked just as well as the original ones.

The fear that shivered down their spines when they saw who and what was standing around in the lobby right now...

...Was the best thing they could hope for.

It meant power. So much power willing to fight for their side.

If the meeting went well, of course.

„Jesus Christ. We might actually stand a chance against the Apocalypse," Chloe voiced their thoughts.

„And here's the heiress of Artemis! Chloe, was it?"

The Hunters jumped.

„Loki," Dean growled.

„Sorry to scare ya, boys. Quite a party, huh? Looks like we've got every continent represented. Maybe we should do demigod olympics once we're done here."

„I see you brought a fellow Norseman," Chloe pointed her eyes at Baldur. Thank gods (literally) that they agreed to wear the name tags.

Loki scoffed: „Trust me, if I invited him, this'd be the last place he'd go."

„Why so?"

„Uh, in short? I was a dick, I stabbed him with mistletoe, he kinda sorta died, and then a thousand years later my girlfriend dumped me for him," his eyes went to the Indian woman on Baldur's arm.

„That's her? Kali was your girlfriend?"

Loki flared up at the disbelief in Sam's voice.

„Go and try to make her laugh, I dare you. I'm the only one who can do that."

„Is, uh...Is cross-pantheon dating common?"

„Why, are you against mixed couples? Just kidding. It used to be taboo back in the day. Except, you know, the Greeks and the Egyptians," he nodded towards Isis and Osiris who were talking to Limos, „and for a few centuries, the Romans and the Celts; and then there were the Germans and the Slavs who called themselves neighbors but were often more like really cosy roommates, if you know what I mean..." Loki spoke while pointing out individual demigods from these clans. „And don't get me started on the rest of Africa, that's a soap opera that would make your mom blush right there. Come to think of it, there's always been some mixing. But now that we're dying out..."

„No rules at all?"

„It's free love, free love for everyone!" Loki yelled and got a an ugly look from an approaching goddess.

„Heiress of Artemis," she grasped Chloe's hand and inspected the sigil that human eyes couldn't see anymore.

„Nice to meet you...Anat," Chloe read from her nametag. „Did you know Artemis well?"

„Her skill with bow and arrow always rivaled mine. There's no one to compete with now."

„Aww, sister, I miss her, too. Let me get you a drink," Loki tried his luck.

Anat, a fit and beautiful lady despite her body being in her sixties, merely lifted an eyebrow and walked away to join her brother's side.

„Whatever, I never had luck with chicks from Jerusalem. And she's too old for me, anyway."

„Now that she said no, I'm sure she is," Chloe crossed her arms.

„Oh really? Where's Canaan?"

Chloe gaped.

„Booyah! Nobody even remembers the geography of her time."

„Someone's coming," Sam noticed, and so the Hunters took their place at the door.

„Hi, thanks for coming. I'm Chloe, Heiress of Artemis or The Unforeseen One, depending where you're from."

„Sam."

„Dean. Winchesters," Dean pointed between him and his brother.

„What should I put on yourname tag?" Chloe pulled out a marker.

„Crowley."

That got him a wide-eyed stare and a second of silence.

„Crowley-the-Crossroads-Magistrate-Crowley?"

„One and only."

„Oh."

„Ok."

„Thanks for coming."

„Our condolences."

„And your, uh, plus seven is...?"

The short man looked over his company.

„Well, let's see what we have here. Envy, Lust, Pride..."

«´¨'•.¸¸.•'¨`»

There were no fights until the guests from heaven arrived. The first blows were exchanged between Devas and Asuras, which seemed to be their typical greeting. Then, Samael appeared with a group of rebelled angels and the whole lobby filled up with tension. Everybody stopped talking, their eyes transfixed on them.

Gabriel stared too – he was searching for a familiar face and he couldn't find it.

„Where is Ramiel?"

Another angel, one in a female body, came forward: „I am so sorry, but he refused to come."

„This is Arakiel from his garrison," Samael introduced her.

„Arakiel, his beloved friend, I remember you. Did you – Did you give him some time to decide? Surely, with some time..."

„He said to tell you..." Arakiel didn't find it in herself to speak the words.

Samael finished for her: „That he'd betray his blood a thousand times before betraying our Lord. I'm sorry I failed you, brother. I tried everything..."

Gabriel hung his head in despair.

„Ramiel is your child," Chloe realized. „You gave birth to him, you're like Lilith."

„Arakiel must be a birthed angel, too, then, if they come from the same garrison, a garrison of gate keepers," Sam followed.

„Enough," Gabriel cut them off with one quiet solemn word.

He walked over to where the patio used to be before he asked to have it removed. He wouldn't dare stand above twenty-five pagan gods, eight demons, seven Fae embassadors, two Devas and two Asuras. Fortunately, he didn't need to – being the Messenger, all he needed to do was draw in a breath and open his mouth and everybody's instinct told them to listen.

„Ladies and gentlemen, emissaries from Heaven, Earth and Hell, welcome.

As we all know, a terrible danger looms over the Three Worlds.

All my life, I have known it as the Apocalypse; the End as it was prophesied to be brought on by Lucifer; the Holy War I was born to fight in and destined to win.

And yet, Lucifer is right here and he means no harm," Gabriel pointed to the little boy.

„The Prophecy has been wrong multiple times," Gabriel gestured to The Unforeseen One.

„And as I have witnessed with my own eyes, angels themselves are triggering the End of Days."

„End of Days?" Kali scoffed. „Please. What can angels do? Once they descend to Earth, their powers are nothing compared to mine. And like you said, Lucifer is harmless..."

„So what's the ruckus about?" Ganesh added.

A Deva chose to answer. The inside of his mouth was nothing but blue fire and what came out sounded like echoed moaning and growling to Dean, but all supernaturals seemed to understand.

„I can't hear shit," Dean grumbled.

„I can kind of hear words," Sam whispered.

„I'm loud and clear," Chloe said.

„Great, that's what I get for being normal."

„You're not missing much, he's basically schooling them for being arrogant. Now he's talking about some of the angel holocaust strategies..."

„Angels can be sneaky little shits, got it."

Kali and Ganesh bowed their heads in respect to the Deva.

Gabriel began to explain the seventh seal to Lucifer's cage and the Holy War as it was described in their Prophecy. It sounded like gibberish to most, except for the ancient Semitic gods, Baal and Anat.

„Behemoths," they murmured.

„What did you say?" Baron Samedi asked.

„Ages ago, archangel Raphael came to preach his faith to our land. We were drowning in conflict at the time – at first, I thought it was the goddess of war, my sister..."

„But it wasn't me," Anat completed when her elderly brother trailed off. „I hate to admit it, but it was something much stronger. It didn't possess human vessels because it didn't have the mind of an individual, or a personality, and yet it had awareness and intelligence. It was a Behemoth."

„I met one, too," Baron Samedi said. „I met Death. Wherever it moved, everything fell dead beyond my powers. It had no heart to stab and no head to cut off. How do you defeat something this elemental?"

„Raphael found a way," Baal answered. „Somehow, he subdued War."

„I have never heard of this," Gabriel said.

„He would have to have told the Seraphim before the Prophecy was announced," Samael guessed.

„Do you think Raphael could have been in on the whole thing?" Sam wondered.

„Raphael? Lord, no..." Gabriel couldn't imagine such betrayal.

„We can't say for sure. But if our people truly are the only ones who know how to control the strongest force on Earth..."

Most pagan gods seemed to have lost their bravado at that point. Their spines froze up with fear – an emotion they almost never experienced.

One stepped up: „Is Pestilence one of those horsemen?"

„Yes."

„Then I defeated it once. Didn't know it was a Behemoth, though," the African man gave a deep laugh that stretched the lesions on his cheeks.

„How?"

„You other gods could only approach the element from one side. But I am Babalu Aye, the god of healing and the god of disease. When I get my hands on Pestilence, it does not slip through my fingers."

„That's it?" Sam asked.

„That's it."

„That's it!" Loki exclaimed jovially. „All we need to do is join forces, which, what a coinkydink, we came here to do! We've got three – wait, four gods of death, including a goddess of suicide, then two gods of creation and a goddess of life. That should be enough to kick Death's ass, right?"

„I see three deities of war, a god of peace and one god who reigns over both. That could be enough to stand up against War," Gabriel continued.

„What's next? Famine."

„Limos is the goddess of starvation."

„Yeah. First time I'm not feeling bad about it."

„Then we have a fertility god and a kitchen god. And the Fairies, of course."

„You make it sound as if the consumption at our court was a bad thing, Mrs. Isis."

„I can join Babalu Aye against Pestilence..."

By the time the actual wake started, the freeze of fear was replaced by a string of hope.

«´¨'•.¸¸.•'¨`»

„You mean – break it ourselves?"

„I'm sure you'll agree that we could use the bloody surprise."

The Hunters weren't convinced.

„Come on! The gods prepare for the Horsemen as much as they can; you get the Colt and the lad here to Wyoming; the Fae will protect you on this side of the Gate, my seven generals will guard the Hell side, you just open the door and ta dah, the seventh seal is broken."

„Well, it could prevent Michael's attempts to kidnap Adam," Sam admitted.

„And it would give us Lucifer – or as much of Lucifer as was left when we made him Fall. After the last seal breaks, he might just become our greatest asset," Gabriel said.

„See? Even Broodiel agrees with me."

Satisfied with the presentation of his plan, Crowley walked off to stop (or encourage?) Lust's flirting with poor virginal angels.

„What do you think, Adam? Can we trust him?" Chloe asked the boy who was by her side this whole time.

„He wasn't lying."

„That could be true, but he's the king of crossroad deals, he can find a way to technically fullfill his promise but backstab us at the same time," Dean grunted.

„He was honest."

„You sure?"

Adam nodded: „He cried a little when he saw Lilith's coffin," he finished his sentence with a yawn.

„Thanks, Adam. What do you think, bedtime?" Chloe asked just as Bobby walked up to the microphone.

„Uh. Evening. I know everybody here does different things at funerals, but I thought maybe you'd like this. See, uh, Lilith wrote a book about angels – well, she touched the pages and they filled up with ink. It kind of covers all Three Worlds, and some of you are mentioned in it, and some parts are kinda fun, so I thought I'd read out a bit. OK. Here I go. This part calls Crowley a shōgun. Chapter Eleven, The Seven Princes of Hell – the, the Seven is crossed out and Six is scribbled over it, so...The Six Princes of Hell. Our Princes are so similar to the British Royal Family that it's not even funny..."

„After this, please," Adam asked.

„Of course. Here," Chloe hoisted him on her hip so that he would see better. He laid his chubby cheek on her collarbone and listened to the words written by his lost friend.

„Thank you," he murmured.

„I like you," he added after a while.
