If you are wondering what happened in my happily ever after…

…Edward and I parented three little ones, two boys and a girl, Anthony, Charles and Rosalyn. I had Edward promise me we would raise our own children. It was a promise we were still keeping. Edward was a wonderful father and marvelous husband.

Rosalie married my brother after two years my wedding and had a set of twins, Isabel and Frederick. They served to bridge the gap between Rosalie and myself, she was a good Aunt to my children and I loved hers as my own. Emmett made the trip to England once every two months and I went back home the month he wasn't here.

Edward senior wasn't allowed near our children without supervision from someone we trusted. It wasn't a written rule; I just made sure I had someone keep an eye on him seeing as he wasn't someone I was particularly fond of. I didn't want him manipulating my children.

Esme and Carlisle were more than overjoyed with the birth of each child, stealing them away whenever they could. They did adhere to my wishes not to leave them so long with the helps. I wanted my children to near family more often than they were with the helps. Esme turned out to be a fantastic role model to me; she eased me into matters of the court.

Jasper married Alice the spring after he left my service and were now the proud parents of Gracie Lynn, my god child. He did see me for the ring and we settled the price. It was a beautiful wedding and Alice couldn't be happier. Jasper and I were still as close though.

Felix and I weren't as close but he learnt to pick his battles with me and we had an understanding. I requested for Susannah as my personal maid and we became close. I later found out what was bothering her that night, her father was diagnosed with a terminal illness, he passed away last month.

Charlie had married Sue too, and they were happy. They were expecting a young girl towards Christmas. Leah was now twenty one studying Law at the University of Cambridge while Seth had grown up into an impressionable young man, his manners were outstanding and his mood as jovial as ever. Last I heard he had been offered a scholarship for American college football, he doesn't have a definite plan yet.

As for me, I was still as in love with my husband than ever before, my family had been growing before my eyes. I was still as happy and content with my life.

So there you go; my life so far. I'll let you on a little secret. It gets better.
