Hey everyone! Here's the next chapter. Sorry for the delay, but the trip home was a bit crazy. And since then it's been job applications, interviews, etc. Hectic. But the next chapter is finally here! As you can notice: I decided to take more time with this story instead of finishing it in 2018 with only 5-6 chapters. But the story is starting to pick up, and I shouldn't have more than 12-15 chapters before it ends. I'm also thinking about also adding this story on Archive of Our Own, and will add chapters on there as I edit the prior chapters. I will add a link on my profile when I do in case anyone wants to follow the story on there. But I will always update on here first!

Last thing: I'm going to start updating my profile, and post reference pictures for this story. So you can have an idea of some of the people I talk about, locations, clothing etc.

Reviews at the bottom and Chapter 45 will be uploaded on March 8th.

Scorpious (POV):

I silently curse at my sister as the workers from my childhood home continue to look at me and my parents cautiously. None of them make a move to come any closer, but I can see the majority of them pointing their wands at us. The fact that we shouldn't be able to make it inside the wards must have caught them off guard.

"I thought you said it would be empty." My mother asks beside me, both of them are looking around in wonder but wariness. My sister's home is absolutely magical, seeming to come straight out of a fairytale.

"I thought it would be." Eric stands in front of us, trying to shield us from the "threat". Always the protector. I move in front of him despite his protests and begin walking forward with my hands raised in front of me.

"They worked in my family home. I'm not sure why they're here though." My parents follow my lead and slowly walk behind me as we make our way across the vast lawn.

When we are a couple of yards from the front entrance, everyone seems to be waiting outside. There are a couple of familiar faces, but the majority are unfamiliar.

"How did you get past the wards?" An old man at the front asks. There is no mistaking the bright hazel eyes and dark hair of the man that would tend to mother's gardens. Caring for the flowers with the utmost care.

"My friend let us through the wards." There is a bit of discomfort from those around us. The thoughts running through their minds are full of fear and distrust. From what I can gather, mother sent them here?

"That's not possible. Only a Malfoy can get through the wards." The man next to Mr. Ron speaks harshly. He is in his thirties, arms bulging and covered in tats. . He is frowning at me and my parents, crossing his arms. It only takes me a minute to remember the grumpy brunette from my childhood.

"Stables?" I ask as soon as I enter the library where my twin is sitting reading a book to Draco. They both look up when I enter, and Draco immediately turns around and tries to climb down the armchair. Celestia helps the two-year-old climb down as he comes barreling into me.

I let out a soft oomph as my little brother rams into my stomach, when he sees that I lose my breathe he lets out a loud giggle. He doesn't let go of my legs as he grins up at me, demanding to be picked up.

"Yes." As my twin gets up, I pick up Draco and we make our way to the parlor where mum and dad usually are around this time.

The manor is a flurry of activity this time of day as workers and elves clean up the manor and prepare for the dinner party later tonight. Xavier and his parents are coming over and considering we haven't seen them in months we are excited.

Trying to leave Draco with our parents is difficult, as he wraps his arms around me and screeches. He always wants to be with Celestia or I, but he isn't allowed to go to the stables until he's older.

"Do you think Caleb will allow us to ride?" I shake my head.

"I doubt it. I heard father telling him not to let us. He thinks we're still too little." Mother and Father won't let us ride our horses alone until we're at least ten. But waiting almost five more years sounds like torture. And they are too busy today to go with us.

When we get to the stable Caleb is giving the horses their brekkie, but looks over as we come in.

"What are you two doing here?" He says with an eyebrow raised. Caleb came to work for our family a couple of months ago, and he doesn't really like us from what I can gather. He thinks we make it harder for him to do his job.

"We came to see if you needed any help." Celestia states, not waiting for an answer as she picks up some hay and gives her horse, Snowball, her portion.

Caleb huffs but reluctantly allows us to help feed the horses, handing us each a grooming brush with a side comment to make ourselves useful.

"Are you going home for the holidays to visit your family?" Celestia asks the stable hand. Her face is concentrated on her horse, as she slowly brushes her horse with the upmost care. Stopping occasionally to give him a pat every once in a while.

He's quiet and I think he's not going to answer, but eventually answers after a few uncomfortable minutes.

"No." He continues to brush Cinnamon's coat, before adding in a low voice. "I don't have any family anymore."

"Sorry." Celestia and I both say softly. The Malfoy family is small and over the years we have filled our holidays with adoptive family. Both of our grandparents are deceased, and my father is an only child. And as for my mother's sisters…one is in Azkaban and the other wants nothing to do with our family.

As we are heading out of the stable an hour later, I turn back to Caleb.

"The five of us are the only Malfoys, but our family continues to grow. And I hope you join us for the holidays as the rest of the workers that stay at the manor do. Everyone that resides at the manor is part of the Malfoy family." We don't wait for a response as we head back up to the manor.

However, on Christmas eve, everyone but Lestia and I are surprised when he joins us for dinner. After that he begins to open up more and finds his place in our big, mismatched, dysfunctional family.

"She is a Malfoy." I try to explain, but it seems that none of my explanations are going so well. Mum, why did you have to bring them here?

"Who are you?" Caleb snarls, pointing his wand in my face. "There isn't a living Malfoy female." Sometimes there were disadvantages to everyone knowing your family history.

Seeing no way out of this, I begin to let my appearance morph into my original image. The look of shock appearing on the faces of the people in front of me gives me an idea of what they are seeing. Dark brown hair changing to light blonde, green eyes turning to icy blue, cheekbones and chin becoming more defined, and skin turning a shade or two lighter. And although my stature has remained the same, I know that the change must be drastic.

A few of the workers seem to recognize me immediately, some gasping or stepping back in shock. Caleb's wand hand lowers, his eyes wide.

"I-It can't be."

"Hi Caleb." My British accent coming through to drive my point home.

Edward's POV:

"Love you." As soon as the line disconnects, a text from Alice comes through.

Tanya Alert. Run for it.

"Hi Edward." I hardly have time to turn around before she is sitting beside me on the park bench. The flowery perfume she has sprayed on herself is overwhelming in such close proximity, but I make no comment in fear of offending her.

"Good evening Tanya." It's quiet apart from the children on the playground.

"We haven't really gotten a chance to talk since I arrived." I let out a hum of agreement, not knowing really what to say. "You know when Carlisle and Esme came to our home, I was skeptical. In my many years of this life, the closest I have come to knowing about this world were the women burned on the accusations of witchcraft. At the time, I believed they were innocent human women burned at the stake because of jealous accusations. But could they have really been guilty? After everything I've seen, they are more than capable of causing major damage. These witches and wizards are dangerous."

"Not all of them." I can't believe what I'm hearing.

"You really trust them?"

"Bella trusts them." That's all I need to know. Bella wouldn't have left us here in this house if she didn't trust them.

"Ah yes. Your human."

"My girlfriend."

"I still can't believe the great Edward Cullen has a girlfriend. And a human one at that." There is no mistaking the venom in her voice. Over the years, I have always avoided her advances. And she's hurt by the fact that I'm with someone after knowing them for such a short amount of time. And after Kate finding her mate in Garret, she's even more hurt.

"I love her."

"She'll die. You should be with another vampire that will stay with you for eternity. Not leave you after sixty-seventy years heartbroken." The temptation to mention that Bella is immortal is strong, but my loyalty to Bella and her secrets is more powerful. I remove the hand that she has rested on my arm during her tirade.

"It doesn't matter to me. I love her, and she is the only woman I will ever love. So, I would appreciate it if you would stop with your advances and your snide comments about her. Or perhaps it would be better for you and your family to return to Alaska."

"I apologize." She's irritated, and her mind shows that her dislike for my girlfriend is increasing. But she is willing to act more appropriately for the sake of my family. "And we will stay if it is alright. The Cullens are family and we will stand by your side."

When we return to the Black family home, she immediately goes to the room where she is staying with her sisters. She is embarrassed and hurt, but I can't find it in myself to sympathize this time.

I bypass the room I was assigned by Mrs. Weasley and sneak into Bella's room, closing my eyes and wait for morning to come.

After ensuring the window and door are locked.

Reviews from previous chapters:

Chapter 41:

xxshyangel29xx-I haven't read this chapter yet but I just wanted say please keep going, another 5-6 chapters of this story is not enough.

Thanks. Now back this chapter...

Thanks for your input! As you can see I decided to just keep going instead of just jamming everything into a few chapters. But I can't let this story drag on forever, so it will be completed this year. And the action needs to pick up a.s.a.p.

Chapter 42:

BRIROSE1 - So happy your back, I've missed you.I'm loving this story and I'm loving Bella's missions, but I miss the Cullen's where are they and what are they doing now that Bella's not there with the Order?

Thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying the story so far. So as for the Cullens… this story revolves around Bella and her return to the Wizarding World to help save her family. And since her twin is a major factor in her life, I make a lot of chapters in his POV as well. However, I will be adding more of what the Cullens are up to, including the ones not in London at the moment. Alice, Jasper, Emmet, and Rosalie are talking to more of Carlisle's friends like they did in Breaking Dawn. Not necessarily to get them to come back to London, but to make them aware of the Wizarding World. Voldemort is trying to get different creatures to join him with the promise of power or equal treatment (which is how he got the Volturi on his side). So that hopefully they don't join the "dark side" and will maybe help when the time comes. As for Esme and Carlisle, I imagine they are trying to learn as much about this new world as they can at the moment to be able to help in the future. I can see Carlisle reading all the books in the library, while Esme helps Mrs. Weasley with cooking and cleaning. As for Edward…I would say he's worried about Bella, trying to avoid Tanya, and trying to help the order as much as he can. But I will show more of what they are doing in future chapters. Sorry for the long answer lol.
