Disclaimer: I don't own Katekyo Hitman Reborn, just the plot, any OC's and that shizz.

So I realized at this moment that I haven't updated this story in like a month and I scolded myself and started typing this up immediately to gain your forgiveness.

ENJOOYYYYY

Chapter 51

I sighed on my way to school, Akira was going to be going around town to find my guardians. We were a group of young prodigy children, underground and to normal citizens.

Ame-tan was a prodigy on the violin, calming anyone who hears her play it, which is why I would usually have her play it for me when I got irritated or annoyed. It really helped me relax in my years of waiting to meet Fran. They were all, ironically, sent off by my orders to protect their families. I told them to pretend to be normal and protect their blood related family.

Not me.

I stopped, feeling dread. As if something was going to go…wrong. Not now, but later on. I frowned, looking around. My hair was back to brown, braided completely and brought over my shoulder, courtesy of Akira who said I needed to actually focus in school anyways and be able to see what's in front of me. The hair that usually covered my ears was tucked in the braid but still hung loosely out from being too short, while the part that usually hung between my eyes was bobby-pinned back which annoyed me to no ends but didn't take it out. Akira worked hard on it, after all, I didn't want to ruin it just because I hated people seeing…me. My uniform(s) had finally arrived so I was wearing that as well.

I felt so…posh.

It was disgustingly comfortable. But I guess that's what you get when you're the boss of a Mafia family and live in a posh house and have posh things everywhere.

I continued walking, arriving at the school. There were whispers and everyone was glancing at me. I glared at everyone who did. They would see the armband around my arm and look away or even run away in fear. Yes! Alone.

"Are you Lacie?" Someone called out. I turn around in irritation of not actually being alone like I wanted to, seeing a girl in the school uniform, purple hair and golden-yellow eyes.

The same eyes from before.

"Yeah, I am Lacie, but there's another Lacie who has gone missing," I replied, annoyance in my voice. Akira only had time to help with my appearance and left, I didn't have time to drink my coffee. " So it depends on which one of us you are looking for and who you are."

"My name is Amanda and I'm looking for my annoying step-sister," her eyes narrowed, but they were already naturally narrowed so they just narrowed further.

Wait.

Amanda?

Fuck. No. This can't be happening, not now.

"Amanda," a stern voice came from behind her. "Is this her?"

Adel? Shit, they're here alr—ENMA! MY LOVE! Ahem.

"Who are you? Are you the new transfer students?" I asked. Enma looked at me, eyes widening before timidly walking up to me.

"Y-yes, we're from Shimon, are you Lacie-san?" He asked me, cowering under my stare.

"I see, and yes, my name is Lacie, how did you know…Kozato-san?" I responded, pretending like I didn't know his name, taking out my folders that their previous school had sent. I was actually supposed to go give these to Kyoya since he'll be needing them to even let these people attend this school.

"Ah—Lacie-chan told me about you." He squeaked. I had to narrow my eyes in fake suspicion.

"You've been in contact with Lacie Amefurashi, who has been missing for nearly a year?" He shrunk down lower. "When did you last speak? Her whereabouts? What—"

"Oi!" I turn my attention to Amanda. "What does she look like?"

"Long hair, reaches her knees or ankles, her eyes are the same color as her hair. It's sort of a teal color, if I remember. Oh, right, and she looks like her twin brother, Fran, but female. That's all I know, I've never met her."

"Tch." Amanda looked away, glaring at nothing in particular. She actually reminded me of Hayato for a moment. "She knows I'm here."

"Class is going to begin in thirty minutes, I will—"

"Herbivore," I make a 'geh!' sound and morphed my face into annoyance again. "What are you doing, crowding?"

"No, these people happen to be the new—where's Suzuki-san?" I asked, she just disappeared. I look over to see Tsuna and the gang coming up to us until looked up to the school building behind me and shrieked.

"HIIIIIIEEEEE!" What? I looked over to he was looking at and gasped. How could I even forget about this?! I'm a failure to this committee. I feel like crawling to a corner while crying crocodile tears and planting mushrooms. Ha, reference.

"What…WHAT IS THIS?!" I shouted, glaring at the figure that was standing on the roof, the person responsible for the banner that was hanging off the school.

'LIQUIDATION' was what the banner said.

"That's…Adel." Enma announced. Kyoya glared, turning around and heading to the room.

"Tsunayoshi-san, Kozato-san, everybody, please excuse me," I said in quick step, following Kyoya who was extremely pissed off with the banner that hung on his precious school. I ignored the steps that followed me and kept going.

When I (we) got to the roof, Adel was explaining on how everyone already agreed for her to have the Liquidation Committee (by beating them ) and all she needed was Kyoya to give in and she was going to 'make him'. Ha!

That's really funny.

"I will bite you to death," was all I caught before he went to attack Adel.

"Geh, there he goes again," I sigh, catching Enma's attention.

"He does this a lot?" He asked, turning back to Kyoya and Adel's fight.

"Every day, never stops," I answer, my eyebrow twitching in irritation as tge fight carried on.

"He's keeping up with Adel?!" He gasped, watching Kyoya matching Adel's increasing speed, but of course, I know better.

I frowned at Adel, an image flashing in my mind of her binded, in the lowest level of Vendicare Prison, gas mask giving her oxygen…just like Mukuro. Raising up a hand, I put it to my head and closed my eyes. I dread that moment, the day when Shimon crashes the ceremony and steals the Sin.

My eyes snapped open, don't worry about that yet, worry about the present situation, fix the ripped holes, make sure everything goes according to plan. I glanced at my wristwatch, classes start soon and I still have to get the new people to their new classes. I sigh, walking over to the fighting duo a little ways from where we stand.

"Lacie-san?" Both Tsunayoshi and Enma squeaked. I grabbed Kyoya's hand and stopped his next attack while I was blocking Adel with my foot and pointing my index finger at her to her forehead like it was a gun.

The folder that I had carried with me was on the ground in front of me, it was quiet as everyone comprehended what happened.

"Hibari-san, I apologize for disrupting your fight, but classes are to start soon and I must attend to show the new students their classes and attend mine as well."

"You," I look at Adel, who was glaring at me. "Get out of the way, girl, you don't know what you're dealing with. Now move before you get hurt."

"Suzuki-san," I said in a loud, cold tone that I saw Tsuna shiver at. "If you are late then you will be breaking school rules. We already let you all off with the uniforms, please respect the rules and the people who enforce them. This is Namimori, not Shimon. We are the Discipline Committee and we do not tolerate people who we find a threat to this town and school. We are not afraid to stand up for it either nor ourselves. Bang!" I pretend to shoot her with my finger, making her go back, skidding to a stop a few feet away. I stood for a moment, relaxing my position before bending down and picking up the folder and walking away.

I stopped walking when I felt a hand pat my head once.

"Well said, carnivore," Kyoya commented, leaving shortly after. I felt my face burn a bit while he left and being spacing out and stared at the door.

"Gokudera-kun, did Hibari-san pat Lacie-san's head?" Tsuna whispered.

"…yes, Tenth, he did. I think she might like him too, the woman's face is red."

"Don't think he's kind or soft hearted." I said immediately, walking to the door again. "New students, please follow me. Tsunayoshi, please get to class or you will be bitten to death accordingly."

"HIIEEE!" He squeaked and rushed off past us with Hayato and Takeshi following closely behind.

Well, time to show them their classes… I checked their folders, reading over a few things before leading them all to their class rooms, ignoring Adel's stares.
