A/N: This was originally uploaded in Deviantart but after a while I decided to upload it here since it won't be fair to my FFN readers if I post only in DA. I was busy studying for finals so I'll be off until 16 or 17 of May. Until then you are free to request ANYTHING (in PM please) (no politics, religion and other sensitive issues) and I'll be handling your request one by one. I'll upload another short chapter before the weekend.

Also, thank you so much for your reviews, favourites and follows~~. Fun dengan Malaysia would not have made it this far without you guys. Can I give you a hug~? No? Fine, have two Chibi Malaysia(s) hug and love you forever.

My Colourful Life

#1 Candles on the Cake

KL, Putrajaya and Labuan stare at the ten layer cake in front of them. It's huge, they thought simultaneously. Inside they wonder where did they order such a huge cake. But the size is not the problem. The main problem is...

"Blow each and every candle on the cake within 30 seconds. If you fail to do so, you shall wear twin tails for the rest of the week." Malaysia said, holding a paper bag of 'fake' twin tails. KL, Putrajaya and Labuan stare at their sister, just because it's twin tail day doesn't mean you can have twin tails like Hatsune Miku! And stop bragging you share the same birthday damn it!

"Ready?" Malacca asked, holding a timer.

The three sighed. There's no running from this. Heck, it'll be futile. Your family learn martial arts and running away would result in unfavourable situations. So...here goes nothing.

"We're ready Malacca, hit the timer." KL said smoothly even though he's panicking in the inside. Well, better go through this challenge like a man. He better give his all if he doesn't want another twin tail pic uploaded on FB again. Last year, New York had quite a good laugh and Jakarta as well.

Malacca nodded "On the count of three!"

"3" Putrajaya pushes his glasses up.

"2" Labuan puts his good foot ahead.

"1" KL is sweating bulletes, successfully creating a mini pool around him. Terengganu already pulled out a makeshift raft from out of nowhere in case.

"GO!" The whistle was blown as the three of them charge onto the cake.

It was an interesting thing to watch though no one failed to take in that there is a minor problem stopping any of them from completing the challenge. Ladies and gentlemen, a dynamite.

"WHY IS THERE A DYNAMITE ON THE CAKE!?" KL screeched.

The three territories were wondering how to put out a dynamite without damaging the cake when KL decided to do something awfully cool yet a little stupid at the same time. He bravely puts out the flame with his thumb and index finger.

"KL...you...are so cool." Malacca spoke up, eyes glittering in admiration.

The capital turned to everyone with tears rolling down from his eyes and a strained smile while showing them his throbbing fingers. "Terima kasih, can you sponsor me a doctor now?"

"On second thought, I take back my words."

#2 Hey I'm in the Newspaper for Thaipusam celebration!

When Selangor heard that she's in the newspaper but not sure which, she called everyone to save a copy of any newspaper, be it Chinese, Tamil or Malay or English. After she got a copy, she would turn to the page, hoping to see herself there. This time she dragged her baby brother KL to help.

"Sure or not?" KL asked.

"Of course I'm sure! Now help me find!" Selangor said, handing KL another pile of newspapers. The capital merely shrugged as he started on a random English newspaper. Where did she even hear that from anyway? The other states? Kak Malaysia? The clowns or her boss?

"Out of curiosity, where you hear this from?" KL asked while flipping through the pages.

"Oh I hear this from Ali bin Abu's sister's husband's cousin's friend's aunt's neighbour's brother's uncle's grandfather's best friend's sister's worker's long lost son's wife." Selangor answered or rather rapped without missing a beat as she turns to the next page and the next...and the next.

"...I see."

After searching for a while, Selangor finally found a picture of herself there. She pointed excitedly to KL. "I'm right here! See!"

KL leans in a little to get a closer look. There she is in the picture! So, so...

"Sorry but you look like a dot here, no big than Mr. Be-oof!."

#3 Valentine's Day~Malaysia-kun's advice

Valentine's Day. A special day for love birds to go out together to enjoy their day or to show how much they love each other. Yes, love is in the air that time. Couples will gaze into each other's eyes while whispering words of love, ignoring whatever noises in the background as if they're in the city of love themselves. A single red rose in a beautiful vase on a table for two. Hopefully, the day that couples will look at each other more than the times they look at their phones.

Singapore looks around her surroundings, seeing couples holding hands, sharing looks before turning away and blush before looking back trying to kiss or something. The nation sighs, the area is getting too hot, not helping cool down a bit. Hmm...that's why air conditioners are your best buddy at times like this.

"Ah~, it's that time of year again~." Malaysia said to no one in particular at all.

Turning her brother with a look, she asked "What are you doing here?"

Malaysia chuckled. "My, I'm watching how love blossomed among couples and to check whether there'll be any marriage at first sight and hopefully reproduce to boost my population a little."

Singapore didn't question her brother further. She turned her attention away from the older to the nearby couple who are having selfies of themselves. "Seems nice to be celebrating Valentine's for couples." she muttered.

That's where Malaysia shook his head. "Nice only in front, temporary or short term. Valentine's Day may be a day of romance but it can also be Ching Ming, Labour Day, CNY, Children's Day, April Fool's and Independence Day."

Singapore raised an eyebrow at that. Why does that sound so familiar?

"Ching Ming if you end up with wrong one, Labour Day if your other half is sleeping partner, CNY if you marry rich guy, can get a lot of ang pao, Children's Day if the other is absolutely childish and April Fool's if your true love is cheating on you. However, it can be your Independence Day if you are single." Malaysia said, stealing glances at his phone, which he is holding.

"You're borrowing some random person's-"

"Yes, borrowed...just for this day and advice for you my dear sis."

"...I'm not going out with anyone either..."

#4 Hari Raya and balik kampung tradition

Ever rush back to yourkampungto avoid traffic jam? I'm sure some, if not many would have done so but still get stuck in a jam. For the states, their own house can be considered as akampungbut every Hari Raya, each state will take turn accommodating the others including Malaysia herself. The lucky one gets to stay at their home without the risk of facing traffic jam at highways and all. That's what everyone wants.

How they select? Well, through lucky draw plus a bit of voting or bidding of course. No state is allowed to host twice in a row. That is the main rule. Now, all 14 states of Malaysia are seated in a meeting room which they borrowed from Putrajaya provided he gets a break and has the freedom to spend the holidays at any where he pleases.

"Okay," Kedah began. "It's time." He pulled out a large box from under the table and placed it on the fancy looking table.

Everyone in the room gulped as Kedah withdraw a piece of paper from the box. Some states can be seen praying fervently (typically Kelantan and Penang with prayer beads and lucky charms, Sarawak is doing some sort of prayer to the local deities), some are biting their fingernails (Malacca), some find the ground attractive (Pahang and Terengganu) while the remaining ones stare at the box or the paper as their hearts threaten to burst out at any given moment.

"And the chosen one will be..." Silence. "Kelantan."

The said state lets out a sigh in relief before thanking the God that had answered his prayer. Penang cursed under her breath and started grumbling about cheap fake lucky items and so on. Once he made it to the front, he started doing the famous moonwalk, earning some glares from the others.

"Fate is on my side today." said Kelantan, nodding as he resumed his moonwalk once again.

#5 Deepavali

Festival of lights. Celebration of victory of good over evil. Again, another special attraction is the dance. India has been giving dancing lessons (for free and also for the sake of his class's popularity).

"That's right, keep it up." India clapped his hands as he does a Bollywood dance. The scent of curry lingers with him.

"Combine with Elvis!" KL puts on a Elvis Presley costume before resuming his dance.

"No, no, Michael Jackson!" Kelantan protested, putting on a hat and started doing the moonwalk.

India stares at the two states. One dressed like Elvis, the other doing the moonwalk. He has no idea what to say but deep down he knows that Malaysia will be twisting some traditions a bit or at least her states.

"Come my dear Sita!" Sarawak had his arms wide open as he cheered internally in getting Sabah to come closer. Labuan intervenes though with a good pie throw to the face.

Kelantan stopped doing the moonwalk and frowned upon the behaviour of the two. "Wasting food is bad."

Meanwhile, Pahang is trying to dance like India but ended up tripping. KL laughs. Perlis tried to do it but also ended up tripping. KL rushes over to help her out. KL is smart, be like KL.

"I would slay you right then and there." Pahang growled.

#6 Volunteering our Friends

Ever volunteer yourself to do something in real life? Like solving problems at front? No? Then you are in the right track! How so? Well, ever notice the 'Malaysian tradition' in class? Where you volunteer your friend/buddy/close enough buddy instead of yourself? If you did then welcome!

"Okay, for this task we need volunteers." Putrajaya said, reading the mentioned tasks listed down on a piece of paper. He looked up and asked the expected question "Any volunteers?"

"KL!"

"Johor!"

"Malacca!"

There're few names which has been suggested. While they were doing so, you could see the grins on their face. Putrajaya sighs as he glared at his 'siblings'. It should have been expected. The infamous Malaysian culture...where you volunteer your friend. Why infamous? Well the way how they volunteer their friend...is more like giving your friend up for an offering or something...in some cases.

"Can't you guys volunteer yourself?" Putrajaya asked exasperatedly, already feeling a headache coming soon. His siblings aren't helping much in lessening it rather the other way. Aren't they great?

The states turned to look at each other before giving a very firm and confident reply "NO WE CAN'T SIR!"

Putrajaya proceeds to knock his head on the nearest wall, not caring if he made a crack or anything.
