DarkFoxKit: Hey readers, nice to see ya'll again! … Err… my partner Key is having a few technical difficulties.
Key2DestNE: *offscreen* Back! BACK, YOU STUPID SNAKES! *stumbles on in an Indiana Jones outfit* Sorry about that guys, issues outside the computer- you all know how it is!
DarkFoxKit: … *sigh* What have I told you about releasing those pythons in the boxes? *flicks his forehead*
Key2DestNE: Ow! I know, I know… but it was just for a meal.. *pouts* Anyways, let's see- oh, right, the movie chapter!
DarkFoxKit: Well, looks like last time it made a lot of people upset to see Danny going from good to downright terrifying- and he's not even evil or destructive like Dan is, just with a very twisted sense of justice.
Key2DestNE: Heh… guess we did a good job of making an 'evil' character then! Now let's begin! *cracks a whip* BACK, VILE REPTILES! BAAAACK!
DarkFoxKit: Yaaaah! Next time NEVER release anything that can kill you! *ahem* We don't own Danny Phantom, we just own the plot to the movie and Andy, the rest belongs to Butch Hartman and- OH MY CLOCKWORK! THAT COBRA ALMOST STRIKED MY PAW!
Chapter 7: A Changed World
*Andy's Point of View…*
I can't stay here… I have to get back out there as soon as I can! But how long has it been? I've been too scared to move from this spot! I gulped but finally dared to move… I don't know how long I've been rooted on the spot, but I guess the shock that my own brother turned into THIS was too much for me that my brain shut down for an hour… I think. I was only lucky nobody came to get me. I wanted to mourn, to think about what happened, but I couldn't… because… when I moved out of the lab… Jazz was in front of me. She was… human… right? No… I saw Corrupted Danny changing her, she couldn't be. "J-Jazz…?"
"Ah, Andy…" She smiled at me, putting both hands behind her back. "I'm glad to see you finally came out of the lab- now can you power down that Ghost Shield? I want to talk to you."
I frowned, but I turned it off. It was mostly to save power, but my finger was on the trigger in case she attacks. Her eyes were red… so I could see she's under Corrupted Danny's control. "... What do you want to say?"
My sister shrugged, sitting down on the couch and giving me another smile. "Well… why don't we start with why you're so scared of being a halfa now? After all, you always seemed to want it beforehand- so what changed? I doubt it was just because of Danny's new look!"
"Look Jazz, I never wanted to be a halfa. I don't like the idea of being half dead! It's one thing to fantasize it, it's a totally different story to actually do it! And besides… look at yourself- you've become Danny's toy now! This isn't what's supposed to be, Jazz, don't you see that?" I frowned. "Because if you make everyone special, nobody would be."
Jazz nodded, though, still smiling. "Yeah, of course- but Andy, Danny's just making everyone in the world a halfa, he isn't making us all his toys or forcing us all to be the same. It's like being human- you don't see anybody rebelling against that, now do you?"
"I don't care, this isn't natural. Not everyone can be a halfa, and not everyone can survive the process either! Everyone's different, in physical, mental, emotional and genetics, so you can't expect even half the world to survive it. Jazz, I know you see this is wrong, this could lead the world into an apocalyptic state if everyone changes! The world isn't made for halfas!" I told her, hoping she'd listen, but I don't think she will.
Jazz scoffed, rolling her eyes. "Maybe so, but it's certainly working right now. You really have to stop worrying so much, Andy… this isn't as big an issue as you believe, you're just overthinking it."
"No, I'm thinking realistically. Don't you get it? Humans aren't meant to live as half dead ghosts! It's not natural, and it could destroy the balance of the world. This can't go on Jazz!" I frowned at her, clenching my fist in determination. "And if you won't help me, then I'll have to stop our corrupted brother on my own."
"Huh?" Jazz frowned, quickly standing up and blocking my way out. "A-Andy, what do you mean by that? You're not going to… to hurt him, are you!? Your own TWIN?"
"He's not my twin! Not like this!" I snapped at her, not wanting her to see the hidden tears. "He's become a monster, Jazz! A dictator! That's not my brother anymore."
My sister glared at me, crossing her arms as she raised an eyebrow. "Oh really? Just like when you thought he was dead, Andy? He's doing this for a good reason, you just don't want to accept it!"
"His intentions may be good, but the method is far more than extreme. I'm sorry Jazz, I can't let this go on. Now get out of my way, I have to leave." I said to her quietly, but I made sure she knew I meant it.
"...Andy…" She put an arm on my shoulder, frowning… I couldn't tell if it was out of worry or out of irritation, though- I wasn't looking at her face. "What you plan to do isn't right either… don't do this."
"You don't know what I'm planning." I said to her, pushing her hand off my shoulder. "But this isn't something I can just let happen, Jazz. You may have accepted it, but I'm not. I'll fight back until the last of my breath. I should've stopped this sooner, but I didn't, and now I'm already paying for it by the results alone."
"Andy, are you listening to yourself right now?" Jazz snapped, beginning to clearly lose her cool. "This isn't your fault- heck, it isn't even a problem! Danny's giving ghosts back their lives… and he's giving those who are fully living powers they could only dream of!"
"Oh yeah? Is THIS what the ghosts wanted?" I snapped, pointing at Ember, who looked like she was literally melting in a pool of her own ectoplasm right now. "To have an unstable body that they can melt and even die in again? Do these so-called powers really make you better than just being human?"
"At least your brother's trying!" my sister snapped again, crossing her arms irritably. "He's trying to make the world a better place… and yet not only do you want to stop his efforts, you don't want anything to change!"
I frowned at her and looked away… it's clear she's not going to let me go like this. So… I need to have a different approach. "... You're… you're right Jazz… I guess I'm just worried about such a big change, I'm a bit uneasy with it."
"..." My sister sighed in relief, suddenly engulfing me in a hug. "Oh, Andy, it's okay- just don't try to stop your brother… I know this seems odd, but it'll all make sense by the end, trust me. He knows what he's doing, after all…"
"Yes, I'm sure he does. He's gotten really intelligent after all. But I'm still only human, I feel even more like an outcast than ever before. Maybe I should just leave." I said sadly, looking away from her, but I secretly looked at her to see how she'll react.
"W...what?" Jazz's eyes widened, and she looked down at me in shock. "A-Andy, no! D-Danny's going to turn you into a halfa as well, don't worry about being an outcast… He's going to fix that, I promise you!"
"I'm sure he will, but… could I possibly see him before he does? … I'd like to talk to him while I'm still human, you know… see how different the perspective is." I said softly, trying to sound like a scared, defenseless child. Jazz is still Jazz, after all, even while brainwashed by my corrupted brother.
Jazz winced, beginning to look uncomfortable. "I… I guess you could, Andy- but not right now, Danny's still sleeping… Why don't you just take a nap for now? I promise, I'll take care of you until Danny wakes up, little brother…"
"Where's he sleeping in? Our bedroom?" I asked, needing to know where he is right now. If he's sleeping… hopefully that'll give me some time to find anyone that could help me, there's no way I could take him on by myself.
My sister shook her head, looking out the window. "Well, he went to a nearby hotel, so you can sleep in your room for now- just give him some time to sleep, okay? He's pushing himself a lot to try and make the world as good a place as he can… so naturally he's exhausted."
"Of course, our brother gives so much- he's always had a hero complex." I said. He does it all the time, after all, even as a villain… or a corrupted hero. "I'll keep that in mind. How're Mom and Dad doing?"
Jazz giggled at that, shaking her head in bemusement. "Well, let's just say they went out flying to test their new powers… and I haven't seen Dad this happy since the first time he tried fudge."
"Wow, they seem pretty happy about this. I mean they always hated ghosts, so it's a bit strange how well they're taking it." I said, though I was subtly going towards the front door, hoping she wouldn't notice.
Jazz nodded, giving me a smile as she shrugged. "Well, they didn't really hate ghosts, they were just extremely fascinated with the subject… so being half ghost themselves is a dream come true to them."
"Really? Even after all the threats they made and all the hatred they spill every time they see our brother?" I cringed a bit and looked away, remembering those times I had to stop them from shooting Danny down. "It really looked like they hated ghosts."
Jazz sighed, looking away awkwardly. "W-well… it was because a lot of the time, he was in situations where he could endanger someone else… not to mention I heard them once in a while- they're more upset about how he looked just like Danny as a human, so they try to shoot him down and not have to think about it."
"I suppose they were guilty but didn't want to be." I said as my hand touched the door knob. Jazz made some good points about our brother wanting to change the world for the better, but… if that future vision I had was anything to go by, it won't be for the better. Good intentions doesn't always lead to a happy road, after all. "...I'm sorry Jazz, I have to go- tell my brother that I'm sorry, but I can't live in a world like this." I opened the door and hurried out before she could answer, running down the street as fast as I could.
Sure enough, Jazz rushed out a few moments later, looking around frantically as she screamed out, "A-Andy! Andy, come back! I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you so upset! ANDY!"
But I didn't stop, I had to keep going and I quickly hid behind an alleyway as she ran, screaming for me before her eyes glowed and a ring appeared on her torso, changing her into her new ghost half that Corrupted Danny had given to her. I shuddered… that does NOT look right on her, in any sense of the word. I watched her carefully, staying absolutely still, hoping, praying, that she wouldn't look here.
I had to hold back a gasp when she flew up, I'm not used to seeing her float. And honestly, it drove home that my entire family is now half dead- it feels like I'm the only survivor… But I breathed easy again when she flew away, possibly to go tell my parents what happened. I slowly peeked out and walked to Sam's house as fast as I could, still holding the portable Ghost Shield in case I'll need it. I have my Fenton Rod and my Ray Gun on my wrist just in case, but otherwise, I didn't have much to defend myself with.
I stopped cold in my tracks, though, when I saw the people of Amity Park were flying around like they don't care. Everyone was phasing in and out of buildings, even their own cars just for fun! It was so unnatural and so out of place that I felt like I was in a completely different dimension, let alone world! I gulped, hoping they couldn't tell the difference between a human and a halfa… After all, I couldn't tell the difference, even when I knew Danny had at least partially died in the accident!
Thankfully, I managed to make it to Sam's house without trouble… but now came the issue of trying to get in. How am I going to get in without setting off any alarms or anything? What if I'm already too late? I stood there too long, though, because someone came by me, "Hey, yo!"
I froze up for a few seconds before looking cautiously at the person, it was a jock… I think this is Kwan, Dash's friend, we don't talk much though. "Uh… hey… Kwan. Um… what's up?" I couldn't tell if he's a halfa or human, but he seemed pretty cheerful- then again, Kwan is a cheerful guy despite being a jock.
Kwan grinned, patting me on the back- man, I keep on forgetting just how powerful jocks can be at times! "Oh, not much- you need help getting in?"
"Uh… w-why do you ask?" I asked nervously, does he know Sam's parents?
The football player shrugged, giving me a wide grin as he suddenly transformed into a ghost! "Simple- I guess you haven't gotten your powers yet, so I could help you if you really need to!"
"... What? Uh… N-n-no, no, that's fine! I-I just wasn't sure if they'd want me to come in!" Kwan knows I'm not a halfa yet he's accepting of it? I thought Danny would make them go after me…
The boy shrugged, chuckling. "Well, you'll get your powers soon, so I figured I may as well help you out until then!"
I wonder how he would react if he knew I didn't WANT the powers? I'd better not test that… "It's fine, Kwan. I don't like breaking and entering." And with that, I rang the doorbell. To my surprise, Sam herself answered and not her parents. She looked nervous as she saw me and the ghost Kwan, and I raised an eyebrow, what's with hr. "Sam? What's-" Before I could react, though, she grabbed my shirt and slammed the door! "Whoa!"
"Andy! What are you DOING there!?" she snapped at me, locking the door as tightly as possible. "Y-you know what's going on, right? So why did a clone of Danny come into my room and try to overshadow me!?"
"What? You mean you escaped?" I asked, frowning in confusion. She's… safe?
"Barely! I managed to catch the clone in an extra Fenton Thermos I keep with me, but the other clones got my parents! Even my grandmother! What's going on!? Why did Danny look so different?" Sam demanded. "Why is he turning everyone into half ghosts!?"
"Calm down Sam! Look, just take a deep breath, I'll explain everything." I sat down on the nearest couch and told her about what's happening to my brother and his thoughts of unifying the world, by turning everyone into halfas. "So yeah, he's hoping to create a peaceful world by half killing everyone."
Sam looked down, clearly more than conflicted about this, before she suddenly muttered something. "... My… my grandmother… didn't really make it…"
My blood ran cold at that, and I stared at her in shock. "W-wait, w-what?"
"She…" Sam hesitated again before looking up at me, tears in her eyes. "She's still alive.. b-but we had to send her to the hospital, her heart stopped for a few moments… a-and there were a lot of… p-people there… th-that really didn't make it… a-and… I don't know what's going to happen to them…!"
I frowned… I knew Corrupted Danny said he'd have to 'crack a few eggs' but for him to actually go through with it… this is just crossing the line. "I still don't know what caused him to change like this Sam, but something's corrupting my brother, I just know it. I just don't know how or from where, but this isn't him. Jazz told me that Danny's resting now because he's already changing the entire world with his clones. It's very possible that we and maybe a few others are the only pure humans left now…"
Sam frowned before she held up the phone. "Tucker's safe too- he managed to use his own Fenton Thermos… but I don't know how long we're going to stay this way…"
"I know… which is why we're going to get Tucker and try to stop my brother, at least until we can find out what's corrupting him." I said, crossing my arms. "And we better do it soon, while he's still resting- if he wakes up and finds us out, there's a good chance he could control all the halfas he made and go after us, then it would be impossible to escape."
Sam nodded, a determined light growing in her eyes. "R-right… we… we'd better do this. Where should we go, though? To the school?"
I shook my head, though, frowning. "No… I think it's too dangerous to go there right now since a lot of students will most likely be there. I'm not sure if there really is a safe place for us… Unless…" I began thinking.
"Unless… what?" Sam asked, looking worried.
"Unless we could pose as halfas ourselves somehow." I told her with a shrug. "It's kind of impossible for us to tell who's halfa and who's human until they show their ghost powers. I wonder if it's the same with them? Danny never told us that he could tell the difference- heck, he didn't know Vlad was a halfa until he revealed himself. So if we could just get them to think we're halfas too, we should be in the clear long enough for us to come up with a plan and get Danny."
"Oh… yeah, I think that could work." Sam nodded, before giving me a worried frown. "The problem is… how COULD we fake being a halfa? It's not like we can just glue wings to our backs and pretend to fly…"
"Um… Sam, first of all, halfas don't use wings to fly, they levitate. Second, remember those holograms Tucker used to fool the ghost hunters while they were in town?" I suggested. "We can use his PDA's hologram to keep up the image with the other halfas while we stay in hiding. And we could always dye our hair white and wear a hazmat suit, you guys did it to me and it worked before."
The goth girl nodded, frowning in thought before she gulped, looking back at me. "Y-yeah, but… Andy, that was when we were up against humans, not halfas- besides, we got caught pretty quickly…"
"That's true, but these halfas don't seem all that different from their original personalities. So… they still think like humans, they're just humans that gain some 'awesome ghost powers' and they're too excited to use them to pay any attention to us. It's only when my brother decides to take command will they be dangerous." I said to her. "Kwan and Jazz didn't seem to be after me, not like that anyway, but Danny was. So if he could take control of them, we're in trouble. I don't know how long we have until he wakes up, so we better get Tucker and discuss our plans asap! You go ahead and call him, I'll make sure nobody tries to come in."
"Right, I just hope he'll make it in one piece." Sam said worriedly as she took the phone to call him.
Although I've been watching out for any halfas, it seems I was right on the mark when I said they were too busy enjoying their new powers to really be looking for us. Sam was already off the phone, and she turned to me with a frown. "I called him, he said he'll be here as quick as he can- his parents were also turned into halfas."
"Yeah, I figured as much when you told me he barely got away too." I couldn't help but think about what Jazz said though, and I hesitantly looked at my friend. "... Sam… do you think what Danny's doing is right? I mean he's trying to create a world where everyone will understand each other and unify them to make it a better place… Yes he might kill some in the process, but do you think it's overall better?" I of course didn't agree to it, but I wanted… needed to hear an opinion from someone who's NOT converted or brainwashed.
Sam hesitated, awkwardly rubbing her arm. "W-well… I… I don't know- it may help everybody else… but…" She then looked up at me, pain and fear in her eyes. "...I nearly lost my grandmother because of him- the one woman in my life who understands me. I… I don't think it's right if anybody has to die for your good intentions, no matter what."
I looked away… It hurts to see Sam losing her faith in Danny- even if he's corrupted, he's not being controlled as far as we could see, so it hurts even more knowing that the person you care for and loved is doing this with his own free will. "And I think that's true too. And… not everyone should become a halfa, no matter what you think. This world wasn't made for halfas, it can't take the stress and I'm worried what it could do to the planet eventually if it becomes too overwhelmed. In a way, the Earth itself is living, we are like the blood cells- so what would happen if the blood cells mutate so much to the point they're considered deadly viruses?"
"...Huh?" Sam blinked at that, staring in me confusion… eh? For a second I could've sworn I saw her eyes flashed red, but it must've been the trick of a light. "Andy… just because what they're doing isn't right doesn't make them viruses or anything of the sort- it's still mankind, after all…"
Oh great, Sam thinks I meant… "No, I don't mean that they're viruses, I mean… they're too strong. Look, I don't believe in evolution, but think about it like this… The world changes over the years, and the creatures living in it need to adapt, and thus evolve along with it. However, what if the world cannot adapt to the changes of the creatures themselves? What would happen then?"
Sam shrugged, still frowning at me in confusion. "...Well, the world would most likely collapse- but Andy, I don't think that halfas have needs different from humans. Before this whole thing happened… Danny wasn't changed at all."
"But that he can shoot lasers from his hands and pick up things like buses with no problem remains a fact." I frowned and crossed my arms. "... Sam, it almost sounds like you're supporting this whole halfa idea. Be honest, Sam- if your grandmother wasn't in danger of dying, would you have gone along with this idea?" Am I the only one who doesn't see the appeal of being a halfa?
The goth girl hesitated, looking away nervously. "N-no, of course not! I… d-don't be silly!" She laughed awkwardly, tugging on her shirt collar. "Why would I want to be a halfa? S-such a silly idea, Andy…"
I frowned a bit… she wouldn't be acting this way unless she had something to hide. I sighed… great, so the only reason why she's helping is because her grandmother is possibly dying. But before I could say anything else, Tucker came through the door, quickly closing the door behind him.
"Man! Can you believe it? The whole world is turning into halfas!" Tucker all but shouted.
"Yes Tucker, it's pretty hard not to notice." I grumbled, he sounded more excited than worried- then again, he was a ghost before himself… so he sees the appeal to this nightmare. For another split second, though, I could've sworn I saw his eyes flashed red, but it was so fast I wasn't sure if it was real or if I was imagining it.
The boy shook his head, trying to keep the grin from sliding onto his face. "W-well, whatever… what was it you were saying about stopping someone, Sam? You didn't explain it on the phone…"
Sam looked away as if not willing to say who it was- I don't blame her, she really likes my brother, corrupted or not, so this must be hard for her. "Tucker… something's happened to Danny- he's changed… and he's been using his clones to change everyone into halfas. But a lot of them don't have the bodies or the genetics to survive it, so many of them are dying in the hospital- in fact, some of them DID die. This world is already going into a halfa era, and if we don't stop Danny while he's resting, there will be no escape, for any of us."
"... Oooh… wow…" Tucker frowned, rubbing the back of his head awkwardly. "Um… I kind of panicked when an evil looking version of Danny came after me, but… is it really all that bad?"
I stared at him, shell shocked, before I quickly shook my head. "... Don't either of you get it!? This is unnatural! The human race shouldn't be turned into a race of half ghosts!"
Tucker raised an eyebrow, looking at me curiously. "Oh yeah? Well, honestly, my family's sorta doing better than we ever have… besides, a lot of things in the world could be considered unnatural, but we don't complain about that… Maybe you should just take a deep breath and think of the positives of this!"
"Is this how both of you always felt?" I frowned at them, feeling incredulous about this. "That both of you wanted to become- become halfas like Danny?" It was never a moral question before, why should it be? It's like trying to mutate an animal into something that it should never be, and yet Tucker- heck, even SAM is all for this? Did they REALLY dodge Corrupted Danny's clones or not? "Look, it doesn't matter what you feel about it- right now, Corrupted Danny's taking over the world, and-"
"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Tucker held up a hand, looking at me incredulously. "...Andy, did you just call your brother Corrupted Danny? Seriously, that's messed up! Sure, he looks evil, but does that mean he's actually evil? Is he sending ghosts to rob banks or something?"
… I get it, they're not really with me after all. Looks like I'm in this alone- perhaps their own desperation is making them think this way, that there's no wrong in what my corrupted brother is doing. But they didn't see how he was acting, they didn't see how much he was changing- they didn't see… the future of the world. "...Fine, you two do what you want- I'm leaving." I said quietly as I stood up and headed for the door. Maybe if Valerie or Dash somehow made it, they could help me...
Sam quickly grabbed my arm, blinking in confusion. "A-Andy, wait!" She shook her head, trying to think of what to say. "I… w-what made you think we're not going to be by your side? So we wanted to be halfas at some point… if you think Danny's corrupted, we'll help restore him."
"I don't THINK he's corrupted, Sam- he IS corrupted." I glared in irritation, forcing my arm out of her grip. "If you're with me, that's good, but if not, just don't slow me down."
"Dude… I guess… this really affected you more than any of us, huh?" Tucker said with a sad sigh. "Look, if you're so sure, then go ahead and leave- but Team Phantom should stick together, especially when one of us is down."
I sighed and frowned, reluctantly turning to them. "Fine… Come on- there are two other people I want to check up on, see if they escaped the halfa fate. We could use their help." They may not want to see this all the way through like I do… but any help's better than none, I suppose. I think maybe Valerie was able to escape, especially since she's the red huntress. Dash… I don't know if he did, but I'm hoping, the more help I have, the better. "We better do it fast before Dark Danny wakes up."
Tucker and Sam cringed a bit before Tucker awkwardly said, "Do you really need to call him Corrupted Danny? It seems so… wrong."
"As long as he's like that, yes, I will." I snapped coldly, glaring at him. "If you have a problem with it, you can leave any time- I'm certainly not stopping you." I can't afford to be nice right now, not when the world's going to heck like this.
"Just calm down Andy, we want to help you." Sam said quickly. "Look, don't get snippy with us, we're just saying there might be benefits should we get caught, okay?"
I sighed, slowly nodding. "Sorry, I'm just really on edge." This whole thing is really getting to me, I'm being hostile at my own friends just because they want to see the bright side of things! I really need to cool it, getting angry at them will only make things worse. "The first thing we're going to do is see if Valerie escaped the clones herself, we could use her help."
"But Andy! She wants to waste Danny, not help him!" Sam spoke up suddenly, frowning once more. "Are you sure that's a good idea?"
"Just trust me on this, Sam." I said. "I won't let her waste my brother, but we're going to need her help."
"If you're sure about this…" Tucker hesitated, rubbing the back of his head.
"Yes, I am. Tucker, I want you to use your PDA to cover us in holograms so people don't suspect us as being only humans." I said to him and he nodded, holding up his PDA and pushed a button. The holograms showed what we could look like as halfas ourselves, although I slightly cringed to see how much I look like Phantom, but at least it's the original one and not the evil one.
"That good enough?" Tucker asked.
"It's perfect, now come on, let's go." I said as I opened the door.
Key2DestNE: *is covered in snake bites* Ow… w-well, uh… I'm sure you all didn't expect THAT plot twist, now did you?
DarkFoxKit: Yeah, seems the three friends are planning to take Danny by surprise. But doesn't it seem odd? Is Andy seeing things or is something going on with Tucker and Sam's eyes? And why are they so hesitant to help him anyway?
Key2DestNE: Well, it's not like we're going to tell you- so theorize away, dear readers! *pulls out a microphone from nowhere and begins speaking into it, announcer-style* What is Andy seeing? Is it just his imagination or a premonition of something worse! Tune in next time to find out, on My Brother's a Ghost- Movie Edi- *BONK!* OW!
DarkFoxKit: Hey! Stop stalling and let's get to the reviews!
Key2DestNE: Hmph… fine. muney73, don't worry, we have a plan for how the halfas MIGHT get turned back to normal… possibly~ And yeah, a lot of people like to see Danny be super OP, you're not the only one.
DarkFoxKit: After all the crap Danny had to go through? I'd say he deserves it, even if it's only for a short time. leslidannyphantom, I love your pictures! Please keep going with it, it helps keeps us going knowing someone out there loves our story so much they're willing to make pictures of some scenes from it! And Boue… uh… are you Blue with a typo? I'm not sure. But anyways, I think poor Andy feels scared himself too, poor guy. And yes, Corrupted Danny is no joke. And you're probably right about Danny feeling like he got slapped if Andy did tell him that- even while corrupted, he still cares for his brother.
Key2DestNE: Eheheh… yeaaaah, I might've been the one to do Corrupted Danny… *sweatdrops sheepishly* So thanks for being creeped out, I guess… Captivity, glad to hear I scared you too! As for Andy… well, I'm working on returning him to you as we speak. :3 Now let's see, what's ne- *he turned to a blank desk* ...Eh?
DarkFoxKit: I'm making sure Andy makes it back safely. Also, that's it- that was all the reviews, Key. Too bad, I thought we'd have more to work with, but I guess not. It seems some of our regular reviewers had either left or don't want to review anymore, like Jaddis.
Key2DestNE: ...Aww- you guys need to pick up the pace, otherwise we won't have much to work with here!
DarkFoxKit: …Hmm? *turns the page to the previous chapter* Oh, we almost forgot, there was a last minute review, AGAIN, for the last chapter. Since we didn't have a lot to work with, might as well answer Dracoya again. We usually copy and paste our reviews, so if you don't put your name down we won't know if it's you, okay? Yes, Dark Danny, or rather, Corrupted Danny is pretty awesome. We didn't call him Dark Danny because fans might mistake him as being Dan, which he's not here. Well… we're not gonna make him eat more ghosts, that was a one time thing… And he's not really evil either, just really twisted. As for fusing with Andy- why? …On second thought, I'd rather not know why.
Key2DestNE: Cause apparently she likes dark stuff. *chuckles* Suuuure, Dracoya, sure- you totally aren't evil. :P Yeah, Andy was originally gonna have a jetpack- but he won't have it anymore, that's Valerie's thing. I- *sees the rewrite of the dream* …...Geez… er, I think if we used that it might have to be bumped up to Mature… holy crud.
DarkFoxKit: Not to mention we don't usually do a lot of hardcore dark stuff, just enough that younger kids can handle- this is about as dark as we're willing to go. Also, please, PLEASE don't give your review at the last second, it makes it hard to get in your questions since they were the chapter before. But we always try to get anyone who asks or gives a good review. And yes, Danny turned Ember into a halfa, and he tried to do the same with Andy, but failed. And no, we're not really planning on going anywhere with Andy and Ember, that was more of something Ember said because she felt a kinship with Andy due to his loneliness before.
Key2DestNE: Exactly- after all, a common theory based on Ember's song is that she was left behind by her so-called boyfriend and left to burn alive in her house. So it's safe to say she knows what it feels like to be left alone, especially by someone you care for. You can do a story with that ship if you want, but the two of us won't be doing it in the foreseeable future.
DarkFoxKit: If anything, we might do a pairing with Andy and Valerie, but that's about it. Anyways, that's all the reviews, so until next chapter… I am DarkFoxKit, this is Key2DestNE and we look forward to hearing from you.
