"Doctor, I am frightened. I'm properly, properly scared."

"Don't be. Hold on. We're coming for you, I swear it. Whatever happens, however hard, however far, we will find you." He puts his hand to Amy's cheek.

"I'm right here!" She puts her hands on his arm.

"No, you're not. You haven't been here for a long, long time."

The Doctor pulls away from her and holds up the sonic screwdriver. Rory gasps.

"Oh, no!"

The Doctor activates the sonic and Amy melts into Flesh.

Chapter 48 - The Time Lady's Tears

Jenny stared at the spot where Amy had been mere moments ago. She knew that this would happen; her father had warned her about it for some time. But that didn't stop the tears that were ready to fall. The Doctor and Rory looked exactly how she felt. Rory was mumbling curses under his breath with a hand covering his face and the Doctor just kept staring at the spot, his expression blank. Jenny felt the first tear roll down her cheek and knew that the rest would soon follow. She slipped away without saying a word.

She roamed the halls of the TARDIS, hoping to stumble upon her room. The TARDIS heard her and Jenny was suddenly standing in front of her room. She pushed open the door and slammed it shut with a bang that could be heard back in the console room.

The dark green walls of her room were usually comforting, but now they just made her feel suffocated. It was a new feeling, due to her respiratory bypass system, and she hated it. She flopped down on her bed and could feel the tears streaming freely down her face and onto the soft comforter. It took about seven seconds for her silent tears to violent sobs. And that soon turned into sobs mixed with Jenny repeatedly punching the same spot in the wall. Even though she hadn't known Amy for that long, it still hurt that she was gone. Amy had always treated her like a daughter. And now she was gone.

The TARDIS had never seen her girl cry this much, or at all, she supposed. Because of this, the TARDIS realized she didn't know how to calm her down. Whenever the Doctor shed tears, she would usually take them somewhere for them to be distracted, but in light of the situation, this didn't seem right. So she switched on her interface system and set it for Donna Noble, the fierce companion of the Doctor's last regeneration. The interface appeared in the room, but Jenny didn't notice. Her face had gone back to being buried in her pillows.

The Donna interface laid a hand on Jenny's back. Jenny looked up, half expecting it to be the Doctor. What she saw instead shocked her. "Donna?"

The interface shook her head. "I'm just the interface, dear. I thought you would like this one." She moved to sit on the bed next to Jenny. "Don't be sad about Amy. The Doctor'll save her. You know that."

Jenny sniffed. "Yeah, but it still hurts. Even though I haven't known her long it still hurts."

"Of course, dear. It always hurts when you lose someone." Jenny sniffled again. "Oh, come here love." The Donna interface wrapped her arms around jenny and held her close.

So they sat together in a comfortable silence until the tears stopped.

Back in the console room, the Doctor and Rory are now sitting in the chairs.

"So, what do we do now?" asks Rory.

"We find Amy," says the Doctor.

"Thanks, Sherlock."

"Well, that's what we're going to do!"

Rory would've rolled his eyes if he wasn't so tired and sad. "And how do we do that? We don't know even know where she is, you know that!"

The Doctor holds up the sonic. "I've got the signal from the Flesh Amy. If I plug that information into the TARDIS, we'll know where she is."

"But we can't go alone," says Jenny, coming into the room. "If they were willing to kidnap Amy to get the baby, I bet they'll have an army protecting her." The Doctor nods.

"You're probably right."

"I'm definitely right."

"So, who do we get to help us?" asks Rory. "And how do we know where to find them?"

"Well, River's in Stormcage, that we know," says the Doctor.

"Unless she broke out again," Jenny cuts in.

"Which she probably has."

"Which she definitely has."

"Who else?" asks Rory.

"Why would we need anyone else?" asks Jenny. "River and I are easily worth an army but you two are welcome to help." The Doctor rolls his eyes.

"Well, Strax is good in battle-"

Jenny scoffs. "He's a Sontaran. Of course he is!"

"And then there's Vastra-"

Rory cuts him off this time. "Isn't that one of the Siluirians who tried to kill us?"

"Yes, but that's beside the point. And Jenny."

"But we've got Jenny," says Rory, pointing over at her.

"No, no, no, not that Jenny. The other Jenny; Jenny Flint. She's Vastra's wife if I remember correctly."

"So, two Jennys?" asks Jenny. She chuckles. "This'll be confusing."

"And Dorium. We've got to pick him up, too.

"Well then," says Jenny, pulling the dematerialization lever, "we'd better get started."

AN: The next update won't be until the 14th, I'm going on to visit family and I don't have my own laptop. Sorry! Also I am adding some things to chapter 7 if you want to go back and look at that. But that probably won't be posted until tomorrow. See you on the 14th everybody!
