AN: It's been longer than I thought! Sorry about that, but I couldn't get to the computer until now. Let the drama continue!

Ken knew that a flash wouldn't be necessary for the shot.
But regardless, he told Steve to take it with flash.
As a result, Sora and Leon were now making their way over to them. A part of Ken knew that it was strange for him to see Sora with Leon; another part, a more quiet part, told him that he wanted her attention on him. The girl had been his fiancée after all. He knew her growing up and then when she started blossoming into a young adult. So he knew that look in her eyes right now. He was crossing some boundary that she was not going to forgive very easily.
But so was she.
"Well, now," Ken half grinned, even daring to casually lean back on the pillar, "what brings the Wonder Couple over here?"
Sora's lips thinned. "Could you stop following us?"
Ken blinked and then laughed. "Always straight to the point. You haven't changed much, Sora."
"I've changed plenty," she bit out, "but you're right, I haven't changed in some ways." She crossed her arms. "I still don't like bullshit."
Steve, now out from behind the pillar, laughed. "Got some spice in there."
Leon sent him a withering glare. Steve straightened up and then nervously cleared his throat.
"Look Sora," Ken started out patiently, "you gotta face the facts. We're reporters and you're with a celeb. If you continue that way, we're bound to follow you. I mean," he laughed a little, "it's like Cinderella and Don Juan dating. Completely different spheres."
Sora's lips thinned even more. "You're the columnist for The People's Watchdog aren't you?"
"You follow me? I'm flattered."
"Don't be. It's crap."
Ken's grin was strained. "Come on. Don't be like that." He stuck his hand out, "No hard feelings?"
She hesitated and then stepped away from Leon to take Ken's hand.
"This thing you think you have?" Ken softly murmured so only she would hear. She kept the handshake as he spoke. She wanted to know what he didn't want to say in front of Leon. "It won't work. You guys aren't equals."
She squeezed his hand hard. She smiled when she saw him wince.
"Have a good evening, Mr. Robbins." She took Leon's arm.
"Good night, Cinderella."

They were back in their balcony seats, the play going on, but Leon could tell she was only partly paying attention. The encounter with the reporters was still on her mind.
He wished they hadn't approached.
"Are you alright?"
She blinked out of her thoughts. "Yeah. Why?"
"You're gripping my arm kind of hard."
She lessened her hold. "Sorry."
They were quiet for a moment. He frowned as her hand started tightening around his arm again.
"What is it?"
Her eyes flashed with determination. "I'm going to enter the contest."
