Japan coughed as some of the debris and dust settled around him and glancing to the nations around the table. Canada, England and China were all staring in various mixtures of surprise, confusion, and anger. Prussia was huddled on the floor whimpering beneath his cloak which he had pulled over his head while Russia had suddenly relocated and was standing on the other side of the room clutching his book to his chest. And France? He had merely coughed in his sleep and hadn't awoken to the sound of the ceiling giving out.
And then there was that moment where everyone was frozen while still comprehending what had happened, but it was quickly followed by a flurry of movement. Japan had to roll off the edge of the table to avoid a few files being thrown at him (supposedly the only thing whoever grabbed them had found within reach), and barely avoided Canada overturning the table on him. Now righted and on his feet, China was beside him in seconds and there was the loud clang of metal from their usual weapons of choice.
Soon these sounds were followed by more noises: shouts of various Allies members as either questions of Japan's presence or conflicting orders of how they were attacking, and more crashing as anything within the vicinity of the destructive blonde nation was crushed beyond repair. Within minutes the neat little room was littered with bits of paper and furniture shards and still the fighting continued in one giant chaotic mess.
Russia, after his initial surprise, sighed and pulled his scarf higher up over his nose. "Violence," he began slowly after England's failed attempt of an attack left a sizable hole in the wall, "accounts to nothing. It is like rolling a large stone up a hill." He readjusted his hold on his book so his grip on it was not as tight. "Once it has been pushed to the top, it will come back on you and crush you, so you see-" The giant nation let out a scream that would have put most of the female nations and Poland to shame as he narrowly avoided being hit with a flying piece of furniture and started trying to sneak his way to the door without being seen to escape this insanity.
Japan, for the most part, was holding his own pretty well. There had been a few close calls that nearly resulted in what would have been serious harm, but already he was beginning to feel exhaustion creeping in. This sort of fight could not be held indefinitely and all he needed was enough of a distraction to make his escape.
China was once again the main force attacking him, striking blow after blow in succession and giving him little time to recover before the next was nearly upon him. Any spare moment he had went to searching the room for something he could use, though they were brief. Movement caught his eye and he stepped out of the way as something large flew into the back of the Chinese nation.
England paused, glancing from the chair that had just knocked China to the floor back to the nation who had thrown it. "What was that meant to do?!" he demanded, eyes narrowing.
Canada dusted his hands off and returned a bored stare. "It was meant to stop the intruder."
"Intruder?" he thrust a finger down at the brunette still recovering on the floor from his unexpected collision, "You just took down one of your own allies!"
"At least I managed something." Canada finally returned and crossed his arms.
Completely furious, England spun back around. "We don't have time for this! Japan is-!" The blonde blinked staring at the empty space before him only moments ago having been occupied by Japan. His head whipped to the sides searching, though now there were only the nations that were meant to be present. A low growl escaped his lips and he clenched his fists. "He got away…"
Canada, unaffected by what had happened, strode forward and picked up the half conscious nation and tried to stand him back up. "Back on your feet. I need you at your best. And Russia? Don't go anywhere." Said nation froze in his creeping posture from where he was nearly to the door and just his wide red eyes could be seen above his scarf as he turned his head.
China groaned and swayed on his feet as he held up by the other. "What did you hit me with?"
"Don't worry about." Canada nodded, trying to prop him up. "When will you be able to fight for me again?"
"Fight for you?" China complained, one hand to his head as he tried to stop the room from spinning.
"Of course. Need my whole team to operate like they should."
"Enough," England snapped at the two. "Just look at this place. I think our meeting here is done and we should all just leave for the day!"
With that France awoke with a snort, "That was terrible. Hope we don't have another soon." And got up, quickly leaving the room without another word.
AN: I live! My massive summer project will be finishing soon and I am on schedule with it. I will try to get back to regular updates as I have some train traveling to do (so time to write). Thank you everyone for your patience :3 Also, Jeremy Taylor is to credit for what Russia is attempting to explain to the others.
