Fairy-Tail-Lover243961- LOL Ty! I kindda like the nice, almost shy like Lisanna with some one nutty like Bickslow. It just feels fun and right. :)

Gogo- LMFAO Ya know I ALMOST didn't put it in? I almost made you squirm a little longer... BUT I feared for my life slightly. HAHHAHHHA

Demonmiko14- TY TY you are all far to kind! I tend to follow Mashima-sensi's lead when it comes to how I layer my stories. After all this is his world I'm using. So with every wonderful chunk of humor comes something diff to follow. Drama/action/angst... Wonder where I'm gonna take it... hmmmmm... LOL

hunter-:( I hope things are slowing down for you. I remember being in college and dealing with those last couple weeks of semesters. I do NOT miss it! LOL As for the other... If it was something that happened on campus you always have the option of filing a complaint there. If not there's always local law enforcement. It's not something you have to just let go by with no retribution. Remember that. Now then as for Natsu... He sometimes is really insensitive without meaning to be. It's just that his view f the world is kindda pure compared to how it really works sometimes.

DSL- Yeh he does. Considering he wasn't raised initially with humans he is still a bit socially awkward. I would Imagine that Igneel taught him never to lie but failed at when it was ok to keep a secret. LOL I mean he's a dragon... He can only understand and teach human social aspects so well. And TY! It took me about 6 tries to get something I liked for an analogy. LOL

mandy- OMfG YES! How cute would their kids be?! Those tiny lil puppy ears! GAHH! LOL And I think my husband might have gotten me the ears for xmas! I'm super geeked! LOL I will wear them EVERYWHERE!

obsessed- LOL that's Natsu for you! But yes everyone MUST invade Lucy's apartment at least once in life. It's like the thing to do! Hell I'd do it too! LOL

- First of all TY for reading and I hope you made it this far! Secondly at the point where you reviewed you are correct! Well sortta LOL. But that is the eventual hope of Lucy.

OtakuLover43- Tisk-tisk! No spoilers! NONE! Lol. It will all come together sooner or later. I'm actually getting to where I want to be in this story. So hopefully from here on out inspiration will be easy and you'll get the answer to your question. :) And yes pervy Natsu is super cute. That smirk... Mmmmmmmm LOL

bstar- BAHAHAHAHAHA! That's what you get for tryin to review on the mobile version! :P Anyway... The next chapter (not the one yur gonna read) will start to get into the plot like a bit more. Then it's all kinds of shit after that. There's just so much in my head it's insane! Also I stand by that line! EVERY girl deserves that kindda tongue at least once in life! LOL

artistofthemind- TY TY! I'm glad to hear you're enjoying! But it would be un-Natsu like if he didn't say something really. LOL That's ok hopefully he is able to fix it.

BrownEyesAngel- TY TY TY!

And without further delay... The next chapter... FINALLY!

Natsu pouted and shoved his hands in his pockets when he finally spotted Lucy.

He had followed her scent until she reached the shopping district. That was when he lost track of her due to her unique scent mingling with the rest of those in Magnolia. He searched her most frequented spots first, library, Heart Cruise boutique, the magic shop, and all three book stores. All of which were a bust. None of the overseers had seen her that day. After an hour he was frustrated and about to try the guild, or at least find Happy and enlist his help, until he finally caught a whiff of her scent headed to the south-western direction of town.

He had continued to follow her path over the bridge, past the canal, through the small wooded area and to the river. That's where he found her, knees pulled to her chest with her chin resting upon them, while she stared at the ripples she made with the random pebbles she picked up and tossed in. She looked lonely. That thought made him frown further. He hadn't seen her look that way in a long time. Not since they returned from their seven year sleep and she had found out her father passed waiting for her.

Clearing the frown and worry best he could from his face, he broke into a large grin and called out to her. "Oi, Lucy! There you are!" He cringed when he saw her flinch and tense for a moment.

Lucy pulled the best smile she could muster and simply waved as Natsu took a seat next to her. Turning her face back to the river ahead she dropped the clearly fake smile once more. She guessed she should have kept walking, possibly then she would have gotten a few more minutes of time to herself. Her last couple of weeks had been one gigantic thing after another and she had really not had a moment of peace and alone time to reflect on it all. It wasn't that she didn't enjoy Natsu and Happy's presence, it was just that she also needed some space to come to terms with, well, everything.

She had successfully found and called out a dragon. Not just any dragon either, but the one that raised the man seated next to her. She had been unable to hold onto Igneel's seal and thus almost released a devastating beast onto the world once more. Add to that the new found status of her and Natsu's relationship, and then let's sprinkle a healthy helping of information about her own mother as well as the real reason behind the woman's death that she had never known or would have guessed at. The cherry on top of all this? She was the last remaining member of a blood line that was started by the black death itself, Acnologia.

No matter how she looked at it, it was a lot to digest. Worst of all she hadn't the slightest of clues on where to even begin to start trying. So when Natsu chose to let some of their dearest friends of her family background, it was an overwhelming feeling. She couldn't be mad at him, they did have the right to know, but she also couldn't face anyone at that moment.

"This is a boring game Luce." Natsu sighed dramatically as he mimicked Lucy's mindless actions of tossing stones into the river ahead of them. "Let's play something fun instead! Or go to the guild and take a mission!"

Slowly Lucy turned her face to look at him, a small smile twitching at her lips, "You go ahead. I think I'll stay here a bit longer." She told him before turning back to face the water and loosing the trace of humor she had.

Natsu frowned but quickly replaced it with a bright grin. Throwing his arm over her shoulders and bringing her closer he bumped his forehead to her own, "But Luuuucy!" He whined. "It's more fun when we're together."

Lucy blushed at his close proximity. She was still trying to adjust to the frequency he would invade her personal space now. Pulling back as far as he would allow, she sighed, "Not today Natsu. It's been a long day as it is."

"Don't be so mean Lucy." He pouted. Gaining no response he sighed and pulled away. Ruffling his hair in a frustrated manor he hung his head. "I'm sorry."

"For what?"

Natsu scratched his head and scrunched his nose in thought. "I'm not really sure. Something about my scarf and you being mad." He said grinning.

Lucy blinked dumbfounded. She had to wonder at times if he even bothered to listen to himself speak. "I think you're a bit mistaken." She began. However in the next moment something warm and extremely soft being draped around her neck startled her. Looking down Lucy gasped. "Natsu?"

The dragon-slayer shrugged as he adjusted the article of clothing on Lucy. "Well I figured if it's got something to do with my scarf then I'd let you borrow it. Besides how else am I supposed to prove Lisanna wrong?" He asked.

"Natsu that doesn't-"She stopped mid sentence realizing that she didn't want to try and figure out his logic. Chuckling softly she smiled and shook her head. "Thanks." She said as she burrowed into the fabric. Natsu was Natsu and always would be. While he didn't get it sometimes, he still tried his hardest to make everyone around him happy. "It's really warm." She stated as she rested her head on his shoulder.

Natsu glanced down at the top of her head and grinned as he tugged her closer. "Huh. I never noticed."

Lucy just hummed in recognition and continued to look at the water flowing ahead of her. There wasn't a need for words she decided as she fingered the scarf's tassels mindlessly.

Resting his chin atop her head, Natsu decided to break the silence. "You know, I don't think it really matters where we all came from. I mean all that matters is what we do, right? And as long as we do good stuff then that means we're good too. So we can't get in trouble for the stuff that the people we're related to do cause we didn't do it."

Lucy smiled with watery eyes as she sat up and looked to the grinning man beside her. Standing she held her hand out to him inviting him to do the same. When he took her hand and did just that, she leaned up and kissed him gently on the cheek. "Thanks." Was all she said as she began leading him back to town. Smiling further she decided that Natsu's logic wasn't always so strange. If anything, his way of seeing things might be the correct way leaving her to be the weirdo he always claimed her to be.

Ok.. I'm SORRY! This took me SOOO very long to update! I'm from the US and so the Thanksgiving holiday got in my way. It's always held at my home so it doesn't make for having time to type. Then there was shopping for x-mas... Then I had to get new living-room furniture and rearrange everything... Then my daughter's birthday was in there too... It's been an insane month or so... It doesn't help that my family is being well... more clingy since it's the holiday season... Blah...

Anyway...

I will try and get out at least one more chapter between now and the holiday. That should be manageable for me. I had really wanted to have this finished by the end of the year but it seems real life is against my efforts. :( I don't like to force myself to write something either because then it doesn't turn out how I want it too.

Now then... Let me say TY TY TY TY TY to ALL of the reviewers/favoriters/followers/lurkers alike! You guys are amazing and keep me coming back to continue! This isn't the typical lovey dovey story you see with fanfics and so I wasn't sure how well received it would be. You ALL surprised me and I'm so VERY GRATEFUL!

With that said...

Keep readin and reviewin
