Hello, hello!
So sorry for the late notice and I extremely sorry for this not being a chapter. One that is so long overdue I am ashamed to actually post this.
Don't worry, I AM NOT ABANDONING THIS STORY!
To explain a few of the reasons as to why I have not posted a chapter in so long, not even to my other story If Wishes Were Fishes, is because real life outside of my computer screen has been going to hell in a hand basket.
Back when I posted chapter 42 (43 if you count the prologue) I told you all that I was finishing up school and about to enter an internship, meaning I would have less time to write and I would be taking a short break to rest because writing non-stop is something I am known to do despite my health not always agreeing.
Then comes December (2017) and my mom broke her foot, we didn't think much of it at first, people break bones all the time right? A few months of rest and physical therapy and she would be back to her usual self.
It is 2019 now and I can unfortunately say my mom will never go back to how she was.
Somewhere between breaking her foot and my dad hurrying my mom to the hospital months later, my mom suffered a stroke or so the doctors believe, they are still running tests. My mom can never go back to work, she can no longer talk right, she speaks but you just cannot understand what she says with how mumbled the words come out, she's starting to have trouble eating and is generally... not there.
She forgets things, forgets people and forgets what she was even doing half the time. I can proudly say I have officially graduated 12th grade with a certificate saying I am prepared to work as a multimedia professional, but truthfully?
I'm staying home with my mom and looking out for her, might get a part-time job with a flexible schedule to get her to and from the hospital but life... Life has been depressingly hard.
I'm sorry for not being able to write as often as I would wish I could but I really can't find the heart to write anything right now. Please bear with me for a while longer.
I will be going back and rereading CRT from the beginning, go back to the roots of this so to speak, and try to find the sheer will to finish it. You deserve that, you can't even imagine how happy I am when I see the warning that the story got another follow or favorite; despite it being essencially on hiatus.
So I promise, I am never going to abandon Cloudy Rain and Thunder. I will see it through the very end.
It just might take me a while, I apologize.
I hope you all the best, the very best, 2019 you can possibly have. Best of wishes to you and your families, because at the end of the day they are what matters most, and I hope to see you all when I finally get back into writing chapters.
