Here is the next chapter. Thank you to everyone that reviewed! Sorry it has taken me so long to post this chapter, but real life has been very busy lately. I don't own Divergent. I made this chapter extra long to make up for the fact of not updating in forever. Just so everyone is aware this is the longest chapter to date it is over 8,000 words. Happy Reading!

The next week, I go to the school. I meet with the board of nursing, and I tell them all about Tobias and the situation with Marcus. I tell them everything that happened. They agree to help me with the Marcus situation, but unfortunately they can't do anything about the Tobias situation because it is out of their hands and jurisdiction. The head of the nursing department tells me that Marcus will be dealt with accordingly for his actions.

Tobias seems to be handling his time off better than I expected. He has been working out more at the gym and hanging out with his friends more, but I can tell deep down that he is sad about what is happening. He practices different surgical cuts and suturing techniques on fruit at the house, which I find funny, but I would never tell him that to his face. I keep waiting for the other shoe to fall. I keep waiting for him to have a melt down, but he doesn't. This weekend I have a surprise for Tobias. I am going to take him on a get away. We are going to go up to the cabin. Zeke and Uriah are going to go up earlier with the help of Marlene, Will, and Christina to clean the cabin. Everyone feels awful about what Marcus did to Tobias. So Tobias and I are going to spend the weekend up at the cabin then everyone else will be joining us for a few more days. We are going to spend time up the cabin being young adults making stupid decisions, and Tobias is coming with us. He just doesn't know it yet. I just have to figure out a way to kidnap him. I will have to think of something to get him to come along.

It is my last day of clinical. I say good bye to Tori for now until I come back as an actual RN. I leave to go to the OR. I catch Chris as she is walking out she lets me onto the unit, and I go to find Dr. Lawrence. I find his office. His door is open. I knock and enter.

"Hello Dr. Lawrence" I say confidently.

"Hello, how may I help you?" he says looking up from his paper that he is reading.

"My name is Beatrice Prior. I would like to let you know that Dr. Eaton is indeed my fiancé, and he never harassed me or threatened my life. He has never once threatened to post naked pictures of me anywhere. Marcus made up all of those lies to ruin Dr. Eaton's career." I say with confidence.

"I wish I could believe you Tris, I really do, but I need more proof then you just coming to me and telling me that Marcus lied. I have been friends with Marcus my whole life. Why would Marcus lie about such a thing." Dr. Lawrence says.

"Dr. Eaton has never done anything, but be professional." I say

"Why should I believe a little girl over a friend?" Dr. Lawrence asks sternly.

So,I begin from the beginning. I tell him about how Tobias and I became friends first. Then became boyfriend and girlfriend, and finally how we became engaged. I share with him almost everything. I leave out only our most intimate details of our relationship like the fact that I live with him, and that we share a bed. I tell him about Marcus, and how he has been after me since my first day of clinical at this hospital. I tell him about how he is trying to ruin Tobias's career to get to me.

Although I am not sure why Marcus hates me so much. I think to myself. What I ever did to him to warrant him to go after Tobias and bring him into this.

Dr. Lawrence seems to be listening and says "Thank you Tris, for clearing the air. However, there is nothing I can really do. The investigation has started and that will be on Dr. Eaton's employment record for the rest of his life. Dr. Eaton is one of my best surgeons and it is terrible that I had to lose him because of this mess. If Marcus really did make all of this up then I am afraid he isn't as good of a friend as I thought he was. I will also be taking this up with Marcus and Dauntless University so I do hope that your allegations are sound Miss Prior. "

I can't believe what I am hearing. I say "There must be something I can do to help clear Dr. Eaton's name?"

"There isn't anything. As long as Dr. Eaton hasn't done anything wrong. He should be cleared for the charges. Just let the investigation run its course." Dr. Lawrence says.

"Thank you Dr. Lawrence for your time." I say sadly.

I shake Dr. Lawrence's hand.

I start to head out the door and I hear "Oh Miss Prior." Dr. Lawrence says.

I turn around. "Yes." I say.

"If you advocate as hard for your patients as you did for Dr. Eaton, you are going to make one hell of a nurse." Dr. Lawrence says with a smile on his face "Give it time Tris. Let the investigation run its course."

Time to face the music. Next I go meet with Marcus who has a smug smirk on his face.

"Well Miss Prior I hope you are happy with yourself. You someone managed to pass this clinical. I don't know how myself it must have been because Tori was a large factor in your grade. I was hoping to see you next year. Oh well it has been fun making your life a living hell for the last two years. At least I destroyed your fiance's career." Marcus sneers. He throws my graded papers at me along with a sheet that tells me that I pass. He gets up from the table and storms away.

I walk quickly after him. I am done with him. I am so fed up with him. "Marcus!" I yell.

He turns red faced towards me in the lobby and screams "What do you want Prior?"

"What did I ever do to make you hate me so much? Why are you hell bent to ruin my life and ruin Dr. Eaton's career?" I ask.

Marcus smirks at me and says "Well I already managed to ruin Eaton's career. It was pretty easy actually you two weren't very careful. You two were always fooling around on clinical time. It was all part of the master plan, but you aren't very smart are you Tris? I knew all along that he would fall for you. I knew you wouldn't be able to follow one stupid little rule of not dating a doctor. I told Dr. Lawrence to hire him and place him with you. You see Dr. Lawrence didn't want to hire Four, but I convinced him. You were just a pawn I was using in the game of life and you and Four played the game perfectly.

I stood there more confused then I had ever been. "What game were you playing Marcus?" I ask.

"I was doing a little social experiment. I wanted to test how long it took for a doctor and a nurse to get together." He says smiling at me.

I wanted to smack him, but I had a feeling there was more to the story so I kept pushing.

"Why?" I ask.

"Because Tris. Maybe I felt like singling you out and making your life a living hell, or perhaps I had a bigger plan. That is none of your business. I have all the power and I can do anything I want. People will believe me over you and Dr. Eaton any day." Marcus sears.

"Why Marcus, what was your end game?" I ask because I was curious to know.

"My end game was simple. I was getting Dr. Eaton fired. Making it so you didn't graduate, and making sure that the dean put you in my clinical group again next year so that way I could cause you more pain and suffering again." Marcus says dangerously low.

"What is wrong with you?" I ask.

He shrugs his shoulders and says "Nothing I am just a bastard. Tris and it is time you learned that not everyone in the world is nice."

"I know that the world isn't a nice place. My parents died remember." I say.

"Oh I remember. You think I feel sorry for you Tris? Well I don't. Poor little Tris. Loses her parents. Boo hoo. Feel sorry for me. I am so sick of that act of yours. Your father was never around and your mother. Don't even get me started on her. She was no saint."

"Don't you dare talk about my parents. They were good people." I say clenching my fists and I move closer to Marcus. I am pissed beyond belief.

Just then Christina comes running up to me. "There you are. Four, has been looking for you. He sent me in here to find you. Come on let's go. Leave this piece of crap behind. He isn't worth the air he breathes." She says placing her hands on my arm and pulling me away.

I turn away and say loudly "You are right Christina, Marcus isn't worth my time or energy. Actually he is a waste of space."

Before Christina can stop me. I punch Marcus square in the eye and say "That is for making Dr. Eaton lose his job, talking crap about my parents, and for making my life a living hell for the past two years for no good reason." I say.

I stomp off toward the exit.

I walk out of the hospital and see Tobias parked out front. He has sunglasses on and he has the sunroof open on his car. I walk quickly to the car and hop in. I give him a kiss and say smiling "Hi handsome."

"Hey, how was your day?" He replies happily.

"My day was good. I passed clinical so I never have to see Marcus ever again which I am really happy about. I went and talked to Dr. Lawrence and I told him the truth about Marcus and everything that happened between us. He said he couldn't do anything to stop the investigation, and that this would follow you for the rest of your employment as a doctor. I also may have had a confrontation with Marcus and punched him."

I hear Tobias curse under his breath. He says "you know what that is okay. Thank you for at least trying. Wait you got into a fight with Marcus and you punched him? Let me see your hand."

I gave him my hand and it was red, but it looks okay to me.

"Yeah. I was sick of him. I punched him because he was talking crap about my parents, about you, me, and he made my life a living hell for two years. I confronted him to ask him why he made my life hell. He couldn't give me a straight answer. So I punched him." I say with a smile.

Tobias smiles at me and says "Remind me to never get on your bad side."

I grin and say "Okay.

"Anyways I have somewhere I want to take you to." Tobias says.

"Okay let's go then. I am ready to be away from this hospital for a while." I say

We drive down the road, and I see a big brick building. Tobias stops the car in front of the building, and the he walk around to open the door. He grabs my hand, and we walk inside the building and ride the elevator to the second floor. We walk down a hallway. He opens up the door and says "Welcome to the future home of Eaton and Associates. I have decided to open my own practice. I talked to Zeke who will be helping me run the practice. We will have a surgeon which will be me, once the investigation ends, Zeke who can do casts and orthopedic work, Lauren who can be an OBGYN, and Shauna who will be available as a Psychiatrist. All we need is an internist."

"That is wonderful Tobias! I am so happy for you. I have something that I want to tell you as well. I applied just to see if I could get in to Dauntless University to their masters degree program for Nursing to become an APRN. Maybe I could work with you when I get out. I could be your internist." I say with a smile.

Tobias smiles at me and says "That would be a great. Maybe one day we can work together again without having to worry about a Marcus."

"Thank you, but first I need to pass the boards to become a registered nurse." I say laughing.

Tobias looks so happy right now. He picks me up and spins around both of us laughing. He presses me to a wall and holds me. He looks me into the eyes and he says "I love you so much. Thank you for supporting me."

I grin back and say "I love you too." I give him a kiss, he puts me down, and then we leave. I imagine our future working together without Marcus lurking around every corner wanting to destroy us for no good reason.

"Tobias!" I say whining.

"Yes Tris!" Tobias say smiling at me.

"I having a surprise for you this weekend." I say smiling.

"What is it?" He asks with a goofy grin plastered on his face.

"I'm not telling you." I say seriously.

"I have my ways of getting it out of you." He says.

He starts walking toward me. With each step he takes towards me I take one step back. Suddenly he lunges at me. I squeal and run. Tobias laughs and runs after me. I duck around the table and head into the kitchen placing the island between us. Tobias is smiling and laughing. This is the happiest that I have seen him in a long time.

"Now Tris, You can make this easy or you can make this hard."

I stand there and I am silent for a moment. I give him the impression that I am thinking about my answer when in reality I already know my answer. I'm not going to tell him.

I start to go one way and Tobias goes that way then quickly go the opposite direction. I bolt into the living room. On the way into the living room however, my clumsiness gets the better of me. I catch my foot on the door frame and start to fall forward. I brace myself for the fall. I close my eyes. I feel a pair of warm, firm, strong hands grab ahold of my waist. He lifts me up and cradles me. He walks with me over to the couch. I open my eyes. I stare into Tobias's eyes and notice nothing, but concern.

"Are you all right?" He asks with concern in his voice.

"Yeah, I think. My foot feels okay." I say.

He sits down with me in his lap and inspects me foot. After Tobias seems happy and satisfied that nothing is broken and I am healthy. He turns back to me.

"Now where were we?" He asks smugly. "Oh, yes."

Suddenly he starts to tickle me.

"Tobias! Please Stop!" I say squealing.

"Not until you tell me what the surprise is." Tobias say softly in my ear.

"Fine." I say.

Tobias stops tickling me. I lean forward and kiss him on the lips softly. Soon the kiss that starts out innocent turns passionate, and our tongues and lips are fighting for dominance. We pull away breathless from each other. I plant little butterfly kiss along Tobias's jaw.

Tobias says "Tris, I know what you are doing. You are trying to distract me from what my surprise is."

I grin and say "Is it working?"

"Perhaps."He says smiling.

I lean down and kiss him again. That is how the rest of the afternoon is spent. Tobias and I on the couch cuddling and making out. After a while, we watch some television.

Time Skip

I wake up to my phone buzzing with a notification that I have a message.

It reads

You are all set for this weekend. ;) We will see you on Monday.

I know immediately that the text is from Christina, and that this means that the cabin is set and ready to go. I slide out from Tobias's grip. He stirs slightly, but doesn't wake up. I head to the bedroom and grab two duffle bags. I pack everything that I know Tobias will need for this weekend, and then I pack myself a bag as well. I make sure to pack several swim suits. I bring the bags out to the car that I usually drive and put my plan into motion. I have butterflies in my stomach. I am nervous and excited at having Tobias all to myself this weekend with no distractions. I really want to start planning our wedding, but now that Tobias has lost his job, I'm not sure if it is a good time. Tobias is still sleeping on the couch. I gently place the blindfold over his eyes. I hear him talking in his sleeping. I can't make out what he is saying, but I find it odd because Tobias doesn't usually talk in his sleep.

I whisper into his ear "Tobias, wake up. It is time for your surprise."

He startles awake and says "Okay. I'm up."

"We are going some where. I am going to lead you there." I say happily.

I grab his hand and he stands. "Tris, Where are we going?" Tobias asks.

"To the car." I say nonchalantly.

A look of pure horror flashes across Tobias's face. "Please Tris, don't make me ride in a car with a blind fold on." Tobias says.

"Come on silly. It will be okay." I say.

"No Tris. I can't do this. Please don't force me to do this today." Tobias says with a shaky voice.

My brain finally catches on that something is wrong.

"What's the matter Tobias?" I ask seriously.

"I can't tell you Tris." Tobias says ashamed.

"You can't or you won't?" I ask.

I take the blind fold off Tobias and say "What happened Tobias?"

Tobias looks down at the floor like he is ashamed with what he is about to say.

"Tris, I have never been blind folded since I had my incident in Iraq." Tobias says.

"Well let's try it." I say.

"Let's not." Tobias says sternly.

"Why?" I ask

"Because Tris. I don't want to okay. Isn't that enough for you?" He asks

"I'm sorry, but it isn't. I don't want to fight with you. I really don't. Please just put the damn blindfold on." I say pleading with him.

"No! Now drop it already." Tobias says sternly once again.

"Tobias, what the hell. I spent days planning this weekend out for us, and you can't even play along. Instead you go and what try to cause a fight." I say getting pissed off. "Now please explain to me what is wrong."

"Fine. I will, but I really don't want to." He say looking annoyed with me. "When you woke me up I was in the middle of a dream. I was dreaming about my time in Iraq. It is right before the roadside bomb went off that changed my entire life."

"You know you never talk to me about your time in Iraq. I have questions for you." I say.

"I know you do. That is why I don't like to bring Iraq up. It is because I am king of avoidance, but I promise you Tris, you really don't want to know. I saw things over there that aren't good for a normal person. You are too good, kind, and innocent to deal with what happened over there and all the crap it involves. You see the good in people. I don't want to take that away from you. I love that about you." Tobias says sadly.

"I know, but I want to know more in depth about the so called incident. I want to hear about your military history Tobias. That is all a part of your past. I want to know every part of your past. I am not pushing you to tell it to me all right now this very moment in time, but I just want you to lay it out for me." I say feeling let down.

I had been so excited for this weekend to begin, and suddenly now it has been shot to hell. Tobias and I are in the middle of an argument, and I am about ready to give up on it. I am hurt and upset by all of this. Tobias must see the look on my face because he says "Fine, let me just go get one of my pills and I will be in the car in a minute."

I head out to the car with my feelings hurt a d frustrated. What does he mean I am too innocent and kind. I think to myself. Yes, I haven't seen the horrors of war, but I have dealt with Eric attacking me and plenty of other problems in my life. Tobias comes out of the house a few minutes later with a sweater, a bottle of pills, and a bottle of water.

I just stare at him in disbelief. I have lived with Tobias for months, have been with him for almost a year, and I have never seen him act like this. I hope he isn't doing anything illegal, the absurd though crosses my mind.

He must notice me looking at the bottle. I didn't see these ones, and they weren't with the rest of his prescriptions that he normally takes. "I assume where ever you are taking me is a far away ride?" He asks in a low voice.

"Yes." I say.

"My dream has gotten me a little on edge as it is, and when I have to drive far away. I can't stand to be in a car for very long. Driving in a car brings back horrible memories for me. Memories of my time in Iraq. That is why we live so close to the hospital. The pills are anti-anxiety medication, incase you are wondering." Tobias say.

"Oh." Is all I can say.

I start the car, and we start our drive towards the cabin. Tobias is silent.

"I'm sorry Tris. For how I spoke to you earlier. I shouldn't have." Tobias says. "Do you want me to close my eyes so that way I don't see where you are going?"

"Yes." I all I say still feeling a little hurt.

We drive in silence for a half an hour. Tobias looks like he is asleep. Suddenly he says to me "Fine, I will tell you about Iraq while we are driving where ever we are going."

"No, really it is fine. If you are not ready to share then we can wait until another time." I say gently.

"The thing is though. If I wait until I am ready. I am never going to be ready. That time is never going to happen. Do you have specific questions?" He asks

"Not really, just what happened to you." I ask

"I was a field medic and a regular medic in the army this much I have told you. I served two tours. My first tour went off without a hitch, my second tour not so much. The unit that I was stationed with in Iraq was due to finish their tour in about a month. We were all counting down the day until we could eat regular real food again. I couldn't wait to go home and see my grandmother again, sleep in my own bed, and eat a good home cooked meal. Military food sucks. It tastes like you are eating a cardboard box. Anyways we were coming back from a mission which had been a long one. We had been out on patrol for seventy two hours straight. Everything was going okay. I was in the back of the truck when suddenly I heard the guys up front talking about a suspicious looking car alongside the road. The leader said to proceed with caution so we did. We were all talking and joking around in the truck. Next thing I hear is a loud blast. I faintly remember being in pain and some people pulling me from the remains of the patrol truck. Next thing I remember is waking up almost a month later in a military hospital in Germany. The doctors told me I had been in a road side explosion and I was the only one from my car who lived. I'm still not sure how to this day I lived, or why I lived. It must have been God or some higher power. Then I came back stateside and I had trouble readjusting back to regular life. I was on edge consistently. I had suicidal thoughts. My grandmother and Patch helped me through those dark days in my history. Any more questions that you can think of now that I have told you my whole story Tris?" He asks.

"How do you deal with the flashbacks?" I ask

"I try to just get through them. I tell myself that they aren't real, and that I am safe. Having you there beside me is the biggest help though, I have found, actually." Tobias says.

I smile a little, and glance over to make sure that his eyes are still closed.

"Are you doing okay with having your eyes closed. I don't want to cause you any problems or stress. My surprise wasn't suppose to cause you stress that was the last thing that I wanted it to do." I say reaching over and taking his hand.

"No I am fine. Really Tris." Tobias says.

Tobias goes silent afterwards, and I reach over and turn on the radio. My mind is going every which way trying to process what Tobias just told me. I am happy that he finally told me everything that happened that lead up to his accident, but my heart breaks knowing what he went through. I wish I could take away the pain that he had to endure. I wish I could heal all of his internal wounds. I turn down the radio and ask the two questions that had been bothering me since the moment I thought about them.

"I know you have your tattoo on your back, and I love what is symbolizes to you." I say.

"Yes." Tobias says lifting his eyebrow "Is there a question there?" He asks laughing.

"Is it covering up scars? Is that why it is so big? Or was it just to piss off your grandma like you had said previously when we had discussed your tattoo." I ask sadly.

"Bingo." Is all he says.

"Tobias do you ever wish that you had died in that road side explosion?" I ask

He pauses for a moments then says "No. Because then I would never have met you. My life is great. It may be messed up at times, but it could be so much worse. That is one of the things that Patch has helped me see."

"Do you ever wish that you hadn't gone out on the mission?" I ask

"Every single day of my life. You can think about the what ifs all you want in life, but all it will do is drive you wild. Do I wish I hadn't gone on that mission, of course. However, I don't know how that would have changed my life. Where I would be now and if I would have you in my life." Tobias says.

"We are almost there. I can't remember the rest of the way, so I need help getting there since we have only been here a couple times. We are going to the cabin for the weekend. That is your surprise. We are having a weekend get away. Just the two of us. We are disconnecting from the world around us. Well I did bring somethings so that we could maybe start to plan our wedding." I say.

Tobias's face lights up. "We are going to the cabin. Really! That is great Tris!" I hope you packed a lot of swim suits because you are going to need them." He says grinning at me.

I blush at the memories that come back to mind from our last visit up at the cabin. Tobias opens his eyes and suddenly I am staring into his marvelous deep blue eyes. The car behind me beeps its horn impatiently trying to get me to move because the light has turned green.

"Here turn into the grocery store, and we can pick up some things for the cabin. This is the last one before the cabin" Tobias says happily.

I pull into the lot, and Tobias and I head into the store together. We gather food and the necessary supplies that we will need for our weekend get away. I am happy and excited for it. Tobias jumps into the drivers seat, and he finishes driving our way to the cabin. When we pull up to the cabin, it looks amazing outside. Christina really out did herself. It looks like a vacation home. There are solar lights in the yard, and summer yard decorations are every where. It looks beautiful. Tobias and I have a great weekend together. We spend it together. We spend it disconnected from the world, no internet, no electronic devices, just us being a couple reconnecting.

Tobias and I spend Saturday at the pool playing in the sand and in the water. At one point I surprise Tobias and end up pushing him into the water, but he pulls me in with him. I end up coming out of the water looking like a drowned rat. Tobias, however, looks like a Greek god. Tobias laughs when he sees the expression on my face. I stick my tongue out at him playfully. We splash water back and forth at each other acting like children. After our day playing in the pool. We make dinner together. Tobias goes out and grills steak. I work on boiling the corn and making baked sweat potatoes. We have dinner by candlelight, and I turn on some soft classical music in the background. Tobias and I talk about everything and anything. Afterwards we watched an old movie together, and cuddle in bed together.

On Sunday, I surprise Tobias with breakfast in bed. I make him eggs and toast. Afterwards we head downstairs to the living room, and I drag out my bridal magazines that Christina had given me and Tobias lifted his eyebrow up at me in shock.

"What? You know we do need to start to plan this wedding at some point right?" I say.

Tobias just laughs. He grabs a magazine from me and starts looking. After about four hours he says to me "I don't know. Whatever you like. I will like. At the end of the day as long as I am married to you. I will be happy. How about I handle to honeymoon and the wedding night."

"You are such a guy." I say laughing.

"Well I am." He say laughing with me.

"Come on. It's getting late, let's go make dinner." Tobias says.

"Okay. Let me clean up my mess. I will meet you out in the kitchen." I say

Tobias heads out to the kitchen to start dinner and I clean up my mess. I found some different ideas that I liked for my bouquet, bridesmaid dresses, and my wedding dress. I started putting together a folder with all my ideas in them. As I am coming down the stairs from the bedroom I hear Tobias swear loudly from the kitchen. I go running to see what is wrong.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"Nothing. I just burned myself." He says laughing.

"Let me see." I say.

"It's fine." He says.

I give up trying to look, and I grab the dishes to set the table. I grab the wine glasses and a bottle of wine also. I light the candles. By the time I finish setting the table. Tobias is done with dinner. He made raviolis. After dinner. We change into our bathing suits. Tobias comments on my bathing suit, which makes me blush. Then we head out to the hot tub, and watch the meteor shower that is happening.

That night as I am lying in bed with Tobias I am happier than I have been in a while. Tobias seems happier as well. This weekend has been amazing, and it has been everything that I was hoping it would be. This weekend has been huge for Tobias and me, and it has made a big difference in our relationship.

The next morning I wake to a loud bang. Tobias startles awake next to me. I hear "Four and Tris, we are coming up the stairs so you two better put some clothes on." Zeke says laughing loudly.

Zeke and Uriah come busting through the door seconds later. I pull the covers up trying to cover myself. Tobias shoots them both a dirty look and says laughing "Get the hell out."

Zeke says "What? We gave you fair warning. We told you that we were coming up."

"Yeah about two seconds before you came through the door." Tobias says.

"Okay Four. We will leave, but hurry up. Will you?" Zeke says.

Tobias rolls his eyes at both of them. Zeke and Uriah leave closing the door behind them. Tobias lays back down and pulls me close saying "Tris, somehow you failed to tell me that we were being joined by company today. I thought we were leaving today."

"I'm sorry Tobias." I say " I actually forgot to that they were coming up to the cabin for a few days."

"Okay well. I better get up before those two come back in and drag me out of bed." Tobias says.

I pout at him and he laughs at me and says "You're so cute when you make that face."

I giggle then proceed to push Tobias off of the bed. He hits the floor with a loud thud. I lean over the edge of the bed to check on Tobias to make sure he is okay. Suddenly he reaches up, and he pulls me off the bed onto the floor with him.

"That wasn't very nice." I say laughing.

"Whoever said I was nice Tris." Tobias say laughing.

"Me." I say.

Then I kiss him. I twist my fingers through his hair. Tobias runs his hands up and down my back. Tobias and I are in our own little bubble enjoying our time together. We both pull away breathless. "I love you Tobias." I whisper to him.

"I love you." he says to me.

He flips me onto the floor and gets up. A few minutes later he reemerges fully dressed in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt that hugs his muscles just right. I lay there on the floor staring for several long seconds. I decide that I better get dressed before Christina and the rest of the girls get here. By the time I am dressed Tobias is downstairs with Zeke and Uriah sitting in the living room talking about their plans for the day. I over hear them say something about how there is a lake nearby that they are going to go to, and they are going to go fishing. Chris shows up with Will, Shauna, and Marlene a few minutes later. Christina, Marlene, Shauna and I decide that we are going to go explore the town while the boys go fishing. Christina wants to find some last minute things for her wedding since that is coming up soon. Then we are going to go get our nails done. Tobias comes and gives me a kiss goodbye.

"Goodbye. To..Four. I love you. Don't fall in the lake." I say.

"I love you too. Have a good day with the girls." Tobias says smirking at me.

Christina, Marlene, Shauna and I head into town for the day. We go and get our nails done at a local nail salon. I decide on getting my nail painted pink with black tips. I ask Christina how wedding planning is coming and she tells me that she is just about finished. I tell her about how yesterday Four and I started planning our wedding, but he gave up and told me to just plan it. Christina dragged all of us shopping. Marlene was more quite which was unusual.

"Is everything alright Mar?" I ask.

"Yeah." She says. "I guess. I am just nervous. It seems like just yesterday we were starting senior year and now we are graduating."

"I know the feeling." I say.

"Let's go girls. Let's go find some outfits that will make the boys drool."

Shauna laughs and says "That isn't very hard to make Zeke do."

Marlene chimes in and says "No wonder they are related. Uriah is exactly the same way.

We head into a local shop and I look around. I find a cute dress that I fall in love with, and that I know Tobias will absolutely will love. I plan on wearing it to graduation. After we are done shopping we head back to the cabin. I look in the fridge and see a bunch of booze in it. "Hey guys did you bring all this alcohol with you?" I ask.

"Hell yes." Marlene says. "We plan to be young and dumb."

"Well I don't." Christina says. "You know because I have a bun in the oven."

I laugh at her statement.

We start to make dinner. Soon the boys come back from their day of fishing at the lake. Tobias looks a little tipsy. He can't walk straight to save his life. I am a little worried because clearly Tobias is drunk and how this will interact with his medication.

"Trissy Poo! I'm home." Tobias yells as he walks or should I say stumbles through the door.

I lift my eyebrows at Zeke, Uriah, and Will in frustration. I was hoping that Tobias wouldn't get drunk. I am for once the one who is acting like a mature adult, and I am worried about how alcohol is going to interact with his medication. Although the rational part of me says to screw it because he is a big boy and he can handle it. Tobias stumbles to the couch. "Trissy, you should have seen the fish that Zekey almost caught down at the lake. It was huge." He says slurring his words.

I rolls my eyes having no interest in his fish stories.

"Okay Four. Did you catch anything?" I ask.

"No." He says pouting like a little boy.

Zeke bounces down onto the couch alongside Tobias and says "But, Four here almost went swimming with the fish several times. Right Uriah? It was funny as hell."

Uriah says "Yeah. He kept trying to fall into the water."

Will comes over to me and says "I'm the only one who is sober in this group and let me tell you. All three of these fools were almost fish food if it weren't for me. Now can you please show me where your bathroom is so I can change into some dry clothes."

"Sure Will. It's down the hall to the left. Thanks for keeping Four alive today. I had no idea that he would be so reckless." I say.

"He didn't want to at first." Will says.

"Someone pressure him into it?" I ask slightly annoyed.

"Kind of." Will says.

"Who?" I ask.

"Zeke was making cracks about how he was turning into an old man." Will says walking away.

I shake my head. I walk over to Tobias and he is soaking wet. He looks like he went swimming.

"Come on Four. Let's go get you into some dry clothes. I laid them out for you on the bed." I say.

Tobias comes willingly. Once we reach the bedroom. I end up having to strip off his pants and shirt. I stick on his Pjs. He shivers a few times, and he curls up in bed. I turn off the light beside the bed. I head down the stairs to finish up dinner letting Tobias sleep off some of the alcohol. When I go to wake him up for dinner he tells me "Five more minutes." He rolls over. I make French Toast for dinner since it is quick and easy. Tobias sleeps for the rest of the night. I lay my head on his chest that night falling into a peaceful sleep.

The next morning Tobias wakes up rubbing his eyes and groggily saying "Never let me drink that much again."

I giggle and say "I didn't let you drink that much. I wasn't with you. What did you have to drink?"

"I don't remember. I know Zeke handed me a beer after that I think he handed me a shot, but after that I have no idea." Tobias says wincing at the light.

I get up and head into the bathroom and grab some tylenol from the closet. I return and bring it to him. He downs it, and he reaches out and grabs my hand saying "Come back to bed baby."

"I will in a minute. I have to make sure that the rest of the house isn't up yet." I say.

I do an inventory of the house and everyone is still sleeping so I return to Tobias who is in bed with his shirt off. His hair is going in very direction, his eyes are closed, and his lips are slightly parted. "You're staring." He says bring me out of my thoughts.

"Maybe." I say.

He opens one eye and says "You are still staring? Do you see something you like?"

I place a finger to my lips and say playfully "Perhaps Dr. Eaton."

He grabs me around the waist hauling me back to bed. I lay back down with Tobias and we go back to sleep for a few more hours. A few hours later my stomach wakes me up growling.

Tobias is already up making coffee. All the boys are up. Sadly Tobias has a shirt on again, so his chest is covered. Slowly Shauna, Marlene, and finally Christina come down from their bedrooms. We decide to play an afternoon of board games on teams boys against girls. The girls win of course. Then we do something a little more competitive. We go play basketball outside. Will is very protective of Christina while we are playing even though they are on opposite teams. He won't let anyone get near her. The boys unfortunately win that one. Although the girls try to cheat with trying to distract the boys with going up to kiss them. However soon the boys catch onto that one.

Christina comes up with a game of keep away, but the guys don't know it. I decide that I am going to steal Tobias's beanie that he wearing today. So I stand on my tip toes. He leans down and kisses me. The kiss starts to become passionate. I suddenly break the kiss and swipe the beanie off his head and take off running. "What the?" I hear behind me.

"Run Tris." Christina screams.

I run as fast as I can. I know that Tobias is hot on my heels. Tobias has been running every morning. I dart around the yard turning every direction trying to avoid Tobias. I see Marlene running and Uriah running as well. Shauna and Zeke are chasing after each other. Christina is tossing Will's shirt up into the air. She keeps walking away from him. I run into the house, and run straight into the pool room, thinking he won't follow me into here. He does however. "Tris, whatever, are you going to do?" Tobias asks laughing.

I shrug my shoulders and say "I don't know. I guess you caught me."

He lifts his eyebrows. At those words I shimmy out of my jeans, shoes, and jump into the water effectively soaking him. Tobias stands there laughing and shaking his head. Suddenly Christina and Will come in, Shauna and Zeke come in, and Marlene and Uriah come in. All the girls jump into the water. The men all stand there dumb founded. Suddenly, Tobias takes his shoes and socks off, and he jumps into the water. He swims over to me and grabs his soaking wet beanie. "I still win." I say.

"Yes Tris. You still win. You have gotten me all wet and you have gotten yourself all wet as well." Tobias says.

"You know if you wanted to go back into the pool, you could have just said something." Tobias says smirking at me.

I smile and jump on his back trying to dunk him under the water.

After a little bit of swimming and splashing in the pool we get out and dry off. We all change into our Pjs and watch a movie for the night. I snuggle on the couch with Tobias while we watch the movie. He leans down every once in a while kissing the top of my head.

The next day is return to reality. Christina and Will are the first to leave since they have to finish finalizing plans for their wedding. Next are Uriah, Marlene, Shauna, and Zeke. Tobias and I are the last to leave locking up the cabin. On the drive home, Tobias says to me "Thank you Tris, I really needed those days away from everything."

"You're welcome Tobias. You surprised me once with a weekend get away. I wanted to do the same for you." I say.

The investigation concluded and Tobias was found to be innocent although the hospital has said that in order to have hospital privileges he needs to be with another hospital employee who can supervise him for the next year. I don't understand it, neither does Tobias, but we chose not to fight it because at least he was found innocent. Marcus didn't make up anymore evidence. Tobias asks me to be his employee to supervise him while he is in the OR since I will be working at the hospital. He has already cleared this with the Dr. Lawrence who is Chief Of Surgery. He happily agreed. I think Dr. Lawrence is just happy to have Tobias back in his hospital. He seemed pretty pissed to be losing him. I can't wait to see the look on his face once Tobias tells him that he is opening his own practice.

Today is the big day. I have been waiting four long years for it. It is graduation day, and I have been waiting, what seems my whole life for this moment. I am sad though that my parents aren't here to see me graduating. Although, I know that where ever they are they are watching me and that they are proud of me. Caleb and Susan come to my graduation as a surprise and of course Tobias is there to support me. His practice opened last week and he couldn't be happier. The practice has started to pick up clients, and it's starting to become busier. I get called up to the stage to get my diploma and Chris and the rest of my clinical group scream in happiness. I turn and smile and wink at Tobias who whistles when he sees me looking at him.

He yells out over the other students screaming "looking good nurse Prior."

I blush at the memory of him saying that to me once when he first met me, and hurry off the stage. I still don't like being center of attention. Chris is the last one to get her diploma, and as soon as she sits back into her seat, we all stand up and throw our caps into the air. Tobias comes running up to me and spins me around. He kisses me and we stand there laughing together like complete lunatics. Tobias hands me a bouquet of flowers. Susan and Caleb come over and hug me happily.

My relationship with Caleb has been better since our parents died. We talk to each other weekly. The four of us go out to dinner to celebrate my graduation. It is while we are at dinner that Susan announces that she and Caleb are expecting, and that I am going to be an aunt. I am so excited for them.

I go over and hug them both and say "congratulation you two."

I jokingly say to Caleb. "See Caleb I told you that you could do it."

Caleb and Susan both blush at my statement and Caleb says "Beatrice not here in public please."

I stick my tongue out at him playfully and Caleb sticks his out at me playfully. Tobias just laughs at our childishness. After dinner Tobias and I go home. He picks me up and throws me on our bed. He says to me "Did I mention how much I love this dress?"

"No I don't believe you did." I say smiling up at him.

He gives me a brief kiss, and then he walks into his bathroom to puts on his pj pants on. He brings me out one of his shirt from his closet to sleep in. I hurry into the bathroom to change. We sit there and watch some tv, during the commercial breaks Tobias kisses me passionately. The next day is Christina and Will's wedding, so we decide to go to sleep early.

That is it for this chapter. Next up in Will and Christina's wedding. Please review. Hope this extra long chapter makes up for my lack of updating. Until Next time!
