I once felt like this world was a perfect, till everything went completely, its beauty twisted like reflected in a curved, all we three created falling to ruin. I am the only one of us three left, my brother, imprisoned, my sister a shell of her former self. A scattered dream is like a far-off memory, I want to line up all the pieces, yours and mine, let's start this process together from the beginning, but not the one you are thinking, that's way too long of a story, and one you already know of three beings of light, this is a tale of my journey right before and after the fall.

Lorrimon stood on the edge of a cliff looking down at Primary village, her crimson red hair waving in the breeze, she looked pale in the early morning sun. She stood in front of one of my sister's travel mirrors, she wondered if there was more that she could do to help her sister, she was supposed to track down those deemed worthy of the virtues of the digichips she had helped create. Track down those who are chosen as digidestined and give them their digivice. To stop the spreading darkness, caused by her brother, that sounded about right, then it dawned on her, she could manipulate one, but it would hurt her to go into the darkness, because the essence of herself was pure light. She had a theory about that, she teleported the oasis on the edge of the green zone. There she forced her light into deeper religions of herself, doing this caused her hair, and appearance to change. She then stepped into the chaos of the green zone, it was like the color had drained itself from the world, Kitsumon hadn't been kidding about this, it still hurt for her to be there but it was manageable. She left before anything could find, especially one of those monsters called Sentinels.

Once back, she headed back to Primary Village, the digichip of Curiosity, still hadn't found its chosen, that's why she had been there, she reached out with her will, and it came directly to her, she grabbed it, like her sister giving her a big hug, its energy became hers, she forced her light deeper inside, she decided to use the change of appearance it caused to, she would now call herself Kiseki Jinnouchi, and she was now from this village.

She would now join the digidestined in the fight against the chaos, shrouding the land in sentinels, creatures that threaten the land, those things that corrupt everyone they touch. The Transformation had left her feeling weak and tired, she needed to find some place to sleep, till the energy from the digichip recovered her.

Digimon Sync episode 52 "An Interlude of Light part 1"

-Over a hundred years ago-

Lorrimon having discarded, her human identity, when she had jumped out the window, had returned, and was cradling the lifeless body of her sister Lilithmon, even though what she was holding was an empty shell, her animus, the spirit that was the remnant of Lilithmon had been taken by Ankou. Lorrimon kissed her sister on the cheek and wept glowing tears, she was now the last of her kind the last great old one, having thousands of years ago imprisoned her brother, and now had to watch as her sister died in front of her. She dragged the lifeless body, placing it in her throne, tears continued to sparkle as they rolled down her face. She couldn't blame the digidestined for this, they had no other choice but end Lilithmon's current life, her sister would return thanks to Ankou, but how long would that take. She was doomed to wander the land alone, streaking the land with her sorrow.

She curled up in her sister's lap, hoping to fade out of existence "please let me die here!" She said, her tears dripping into Lilithmon's unmoving lap. It was like the world had fallen out from under her and she was now swimming in a lake of sorrow. She got up and ran from her present circumstance, she would be like she actually died here too, she would leave the world that killed her sister "I dreamed a dream of time gone by, hope was high, life worth living, I dreamed love would never die, I dreamed the virtues would be forgiving" she leaped from the tower, once again "But the tigers come at night, with this voice soft as thunder" she plummeted to the earth "I had a dream my life would be much different than the hell I am living, so different than what it seemed, oh life has killed a dream I dreamed"

She now stood in front of the Tartarus seal, the prison for her brother Erebosmon, she lay down in front of it, curled up in a fetus position, she wanted at that moment to seal herself in there with him, and be with family again. Kitsumon appeared on the seal, feeling the presence of someone there, and seeing if it was someone who she would have to stop from breaking it, seeing Lorrimon there unsettled her, she ran over, falling to her knees beside one of her creators, "Lilithmon is dead" Lorrimon said, now crying into Kitsumon's lap.

"She is a great old one, how can she be dead?" Kitsumon asked, taken aback by the news "Will she be reborn, it's her destiny as a being of life?"

"It's impossible to know when that will happen, she could be dead forever, Now leave me alone, I don't want anything to do with you, leave hybrid before I kill you" Lorrimon screamed, as she shoved Kitsumon away. Which Kitsumon did as she was told? Lorrimon clutched her digivice, to her this was the cause of all this, she wanted to crush it in her bare hands.

-Present day-

Lorrimon was on her knees again, silver streaks on her face, as she told her life story from her point of view of her sister's death, and how she reacted to it.

Hikaru walked toward and placed her hand on Lorrimon's shoulder "it wasn't your fault, even if you didn't jump from the tower, leaving your sister to her fate, it would have happened regardless of you being there or not, her altruism was her downfall"

"But it was my fault I shouldn't have promised her anything, if I didn't promise her anything I would have ended those Digidestined's lives in a heartbeat, and I know it" Lorrimon said, in almost a shriek.

"No you wouldn't, you aren't a killer, you are the light of the world, the luminous hope we all carry in each of our hearts" Hikaru said, placing both hands on her own chest.

Virgil was aghast looking down at Lorrimon, he had been traveling with a great old one and hadn't picked up on it, she was as beautiful as he had imagined all his, and that the sages told him she was breathtaking. He knew fully why Ankou would fall in love with the likes of Lilithmon if she looked half as beautiful as Lorrimon. And he was also excited that she had picked him to take the mantle of the virtue of curiosity, he didn't know how to talk to Lorrimon, a being he worshipped for so long, and she was the light bringer.

"I faded from existence, and because I did hybrids were made, with no guidance from either me or Lilithmon, and Kitsumon couldn't leave her forest for obvious reasons, so hybrids were killed constantly because they were mistaken for cursed ones, like Arukenimon, I closed my eyes and ignore their suffering" Lorrimon said, downcast "I came back too late to save them, I spent decades drowning in regret as I traveled, being haunted by the ghosts of the past"

-Years prior-

Lorrimon now disguised as Thania Kole, banishing her powers further within herself, travel the land drinking, drowning away her pain, she didn't ever want to feel anything again, her heart was gone, her inner light extinguished, she had been crying for years, and finally shed her last tear. That was when she reunited briefly with Damian Star, but he didn't know she was Lorrimon or Kiseki, she had shed those personas thoroughly.

"Your pain is so thick young lady, that I feel like I am walking through it, how can such a cute, young girl have so much pain, " he said, smiling broadly at Thania, his years of wisdom had written a thick tapestry on his face, since the last time she had seen him on top of the tower.

"All I know is, and will ever feel is an absolute pain, it's my destiny as a cursed one, I don't have any digimon as my partner and don't care" Thania said, going to walk away from Damien. There was still nagging hatred in the back of her mind, she wanted to kill Damien but knew that wasn't what her sister would have wanted.

Damien blocked her way, instead of stepping aside "No one should suffer for that reason, young girl, you should always be happy to be alive, " he said, with deep sorrow in his voice that only made Thania more pissed at him for not leaving her alone, for all intensive purposes he was a stranger to him, why did he even care about her at all. She wanted to scream at him to leave her alone, she did not want or need his pity. But she could not make herself do so, as he stood there, an old friend of hers, she could not make herself yell at him since she hadn't seen him in such a long time. She forced a smile instead, and tried to make believe she wasn't in so much pain. She weaved light into matter using her digichip, creating Biyomon.

"I lied, I have a digimon partner, I am just looking for her right now she got lost again" Thania said, as Biyomon waddled up to her side, looking very angry, for something that had just been born a second ago.

"You Baka, you ditched me again, I hate you, if we didn't have company I would have pecked off your nose right now!" Biyomon shouted, as she arrived. "I swear you are a useless little girl, You will me, a treat for this incident, a pile fish would do nicely, fried in tempura"

"Please stop embarrassing me Biyomon" Thania said, her face flushing with annoyance, at how her digimon partner was acting, while thinking you made her this way now live with it"

"With that mouth, no wonder you looked miserable, that Biyomon must be a handful?" He asked, looking thoughtfully at Biyomon, did he know she was fake, and why wasn't he saying anything about her sudden appearance. "May the light guide you two, to where you are supposed to be, and lead you to new hope, as the light guides me to the door"

"The Door?" Thania said, knowing full well what door he was talking about, she has seen it herself since she created it as a door for the afterlife, she couldn't step through it herself with undoing her part of creation. The light of the world would just vanish.

"You are too young to be thinking of that door, as a sage of Infinitas, I travel till I reach the door, but that won't be for a few years, this isn't my final quest for the door, only the digignomes can let us finish this quest" He smiled, a grim grin, it showed the sadness in his eyes, it made Thania wonder why she had been so angry with him, he hadn't killed her sister, he abstained from any involvement in that battle. She herself wished she could step through that door and finally rest in peace.

The door is all I think about lately, and much I wish I could step through it Thania thought to herself but stopped short of saying so, she had to fight off crying as she spoke what she actually "Death must be the greatest adventure?" She asked, sounding stupid doing so, she pulled her hood over her face. But suddenly a boy grabbed her hand, a boy who looked around 13 years old.

"Do not go gently into that good night, old age should burn and rage at close of day: Rage, rage against the dying of the light" The Boy demanded, as he spoke, Thania stared in confusion, hearing the new comer speech, he paused before continuing "Though wise men at their end know dark is right, because their words forked no lightning, they do not go gentle into that good night. Good men, the last wave by, crying how their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay, Rage, rage against the dying of the light"

This was when Damian stopped the kid from continuing "This is Virgil, he is a sage in training, and he was quoting our scripture to you, about the love of Lorrimon, the great light bringer, who we should never let die in our hearts" he smiled as he ruffled Virgil's hair.

The meaning of the words, finally struck Thania, and she felt horrible about what it meant, it in avertedly opened old would that weren't actually closed, since she was a great old time was different to her, it might have happened years ago to everyone else, it was like yesterday to her, but she was being of light and she had abandoned even these sages that still hold her in reverence. Instead of staying she ran for it, she didn't want to be near that boy, the one that preached to her about herself, actually her former self, the one that protected this world, before her sister had died.

-Present day-

Virgil was speechless, he knew he had met Thania before, before she had shown up at his pyramid, but didn't know he had given a speech that had affected a great old one that profoundly, he was curious to know more about this, and everything that happened afterwards. He just couldn't make himself speak these questions.

"Your scripture made me think, and made me understand what I should do next, which was to find the digichips, and bring forth new digidestined to the chip that didn't have wielders anymore, I wanted to make up for failing then compounding that failure with cowardice" Lorrimon said, standing up and clenching her fist to show her resolve. "I helped create the digidestined, and now I was helping to reunite them"

"Sorry for overreacting like that before" a voice interrupted Lorrimon, it was Tajiri, he had just returned, "I failed to follow Lilithmon, but I know where she is going, I need to be with you guys when we confront her at the citadel" he fake smiled, when he got close to Lorrimon. "Continue your story I would like to hear more, hopefully it includes why you knocked me out, you interfere with me attack Lilithmon and it felt exactly like when I was knocked and handed over to the Kurokami Brigade, I like to hear that one"

"That was complicated, and includes your vision when you first activated your digichip, I saw it in its entirety, and I overreacted, the future always scares me" Lorrimon said, giving Tajiri a serious expression. "When I felt it, I was I was searching for the digichip of love, and not having much luck doing so, and this was the first time I ever met Hikaru, but I didn't give her digichip to her I hadn't found it yet, it was a mystery where the virtue of kindness was, I didn't know at the time I also met my sister reincarnation Juniko"

-Years ago-

Thania was looking around a mysterious mountain for the digichip of love, she knew it was there, but couldn't get close to it, it was like the mountain didn't want her near it, and when she got close it made her terrified, and made her turn to avoid it altogether, then she would regain her resolve and try to get close to it again, before it once again deterred her. She didn't have a clue what was making her avoid this mountain like death itself was making it, its home, and was blocking her every advance to find what she was seeking. That's when she saw a child tumble out of nowhere, she seemed to just appear, she was terrified, and screaming for someone to take her back home, she was a lost child trying to make her way home, but where was her home and where did she come from.

Thania watched intently, and would interfere if this child got into any serious trouble. That's when some did happen a wild digimon smashed through a tree, and it was advancing on the girl like she was a very tasty looking meal, that's when another girl appeared younger than the first, but she seemed to not be scared, she kicked the pouncing digimon right between the eyes, and then bashed over the head with a quarterstaff, then grabbed Hikaru, and dragged her off and they both vanished like it never happen, the only proof it happened was the unconscious digimon, laying on the ground with a protruding tongue sticking out of its maw.

But she couldn't investigate, suddenly a vision hit her like a ton of bricks, which almost flattened Thania, then she was suddenly floating in a dark void, the only other thing there was a man, in grey attire, and a symbol she knew very well as her own, there was absolutely no life anywhere around, he didn't see her there, he was freaking out about where he was, Thania felt deeper into the vision and felt he was possible going to be responsible for this somehow, she would have to deal with this man, she didn't know at all. Because this couldn't ever come to pass, this future was beyond her worst nightmare.

Then she was back at the mountain, but still stuck back in that vision that gave her the chills, she would have to find that man first, and then find the digichips and their wielders, that vision had to be stopped no matter what, she set out not knowing she was going to have Soichiro's relative abducted.

-Present day-

"So my vision of the future scared you enough that, you handed me over to my enemy, I wouldn't cause any such future, I would fight to prevent from happening, that's why I am dedicated in defeat Lilithmon, she who would reset all life because humanity is beyond saving in her eyes" Tajiri said, barely keeping his anger out of his voice.

Sorami eyed her father, how was she going to break it to the rest of the digidestined, that the leader of the Guardians was also the leader of the Paradigm Shift, and tried to have her killed to protect that identity by having her attempt to kill them in the process. She couldn't make herself betray her father, even though he had betrayed her first, he was still her father.

"How was I supposed to know this, I saw a bleak future, and you were going to possibly cause this to come to be" Lorrimon said, looking at Tajiri like a loaded weapon, ready to blow up in her face, and hoping her admission would disarm him, and bring sense to the conversation. "I am here to unit you guys, not tear the digidestined apart further than I had in the past"

Tajiri turned his attention towards Sorami, like he was reading her mind, his gaze was one of warning "it's nice to see you again, my daughter, hopefully you ordeal didn't tarnish your resolve in defeating Lilithmon" he said placing a hand on Sorami, causing her to flinch, but he acted like he didn't see that. He turned back toward Lorrimon, and stared intensely "spare me the rest of that story, I don't want to be reminded of my time imprisoned by them" he spat the last word.

"I panicked and did that unspeakable thing to you, I can never ask you for forgiveness" Lorrimon said, looking from Sorami to Tajiri like he was reading both their minds.

"You are a great old one, and should never ask for forgiveness for the action you thought best for the betterment of this world" Tajiri said, in a tone that was almost unreadable, his cold voice made you wonder if he meant what he was saying.

"Yes, we forgive you" Sorami said, looking at her father wondering that exact thing, if her father was actually forgiving Lorrimon for her actions or not.

"I am glad to hear that, it fills me with happiness that you have forgiven me, but my story must continue" Lorrimon said, before pausing, then she continued "That's when my nightmares started"
