Me: Welcome back to my story!

Informant: So, we're having another between the episodes chapter?

Me: Yep.

Wolverine: Why? Why not just do only episodes so I can get out sooner? Or, how about you just let me out now and do whatever ya like?

Informant: Sheesh. You are not making being here any better.

Me: Well, to keep him happy, I'll go to the story...Right after an announcement!

*several 4th wall breaking characters from different universes begin piling in while singing and gathering around me* Characters: Announcements, announcements, annooooouuuunnncements!*they begin pushing me around in the circle* What a terrible death to die, what a terrible death to die, what a terrible death, a horrible death, a terrible death to die. Announcements, announcements, annnnnnoooooouuuuuunnncements! We sold our cow, we sold our cow, we sold our cow. We have no need for your bull now! *those not pushing me around point at me before making a shoveling movement* Pile it up in the corner, pile it up in the corner, pile it up in the coooorrrnnneeeerrrrr! It helps the flowers grow. *they then begin waving their arms back and forth* Have you ever seen a windbag, a windbag, a windbag? Have you ever seen a windbag? *they point at me* Well there's one right now! *they then do the waving motion again* It blows this way and that way. It blows this way and that way. Oh, have you ever seen a wind bag? *they point at me again* Well theirs one right now! SPEAK FREAK! *they all then leave through various means, minus Informant, who is smirking at me*

Informant: Regret that now?

Me: Nope. I actually enjoyed it. But, the announcement is on songs I'm planning to put in here. One I think I'm gonna put it in next chapter, where "Rarity Takes Manehatten" will be mentioned to be happening. That one is from "The Little Mermaid". The other one is from "Lion King 2". Also, I think there may be at least one reader who knows the song those 4th wall breaking characters sang. But, anyways, enjoy!

Avispa was laying on the ground behind DB, who was standing beside a stand that was empty. Though, it wasn't a surprise, seeing as the sun hadn't even begun to rise. "Why are we out here so early? The sun isn't even waking up yet."

DB chuckled. "I know. But, this is the only way to ensure we get cider."

"With how much was made? I doubt we'll be missing anything."

"You'd be surprised how much these ponies can drink. Which is part of why the Flim Flam brothers tried to take the cider business from the Apples."

Avispa raised an eyebrow. "The Flim Flam brothers?"

"Well, they were these twin brothers who made a machine called the Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000."

"That's a heck of a mouthfull."

DB chuckled. "Yes it is. But, anyways, I personally only liked their song. Anything else about them, I found dishonest. I tried some of their cider from their demonstration and...I couldn't put my hoof on it, but it was missing something the Apples have in theirs. It was good, but not as good. But, anyways, the first day they showed up, which was the second day of cider season, they offered the machine plus magic and they'd split the profits, I don't remember how, but the Apples wouldn't get enought to keep their farm. So, they said no deal. The brothers said they'd have to be competitors. So, the next day, they came by again, but with cider. Made from Sweet Apple Acres apples."

Avispa was fully awake, along with a hint of anger in her features. "Seriously? They stooped so low as stealing!?"

DB nodded. "Yeah. Anyways, it eventually got to a competition between the brothers and the Apples. Flim and Flam had taken the lead, getting three for every one of the Apples. But, the rest of the Elements, which were honorary family members, joined in. I would have joined in, but I wanted to keep the extent of my abilities out of public eye, so I just watched, wanting to destroy the brothers machine. The Apples began catching up, making five for every three of the brothers, so the prothers upped the power, uprooting entire trees. So, they had to let it accept all apples. So, while they won the competition, they wouldn't have been able to sell any Cider. So, they tried going to the next town. Their machine broke down entirely on the way there. Thanks to yours truly. I'm pretty sure theey won't come back. And hopefully they won't try to swindle ponies again."

"It would be wise of them." Avispa let out a yawn. "Now, wake me when it opens."

"Sure thing." Avispa curled up into a ball and was asleep in seconds. DB watched her for a few minutes, a smile coming to his face. "She looks cute like that." A blush covered his face. "Where did that thought come from!?" He looked away and thought on anything else.

a few hours later

DB nuged Avispa in the side until she opened her eyes and let out a yawn. "Is it open?"

"Almost. Just a couple more minutes, but you should probably get up now so you don't anger any ponies by making them wait for cider." Avispa groggily nodded as she stood up and began stretching. "Sleep well?"

"Very. The ground may not be as comfortable as a bed, but it is thousands of times more comfortable than rock."

"Tell me about it. Dirt is the second most comfortable outdoors sleeping area. Sand is the most comfortable, as long as you can keep sand off of you."

Avispa nodded. "So true. But, if I'm trying to be discreet, and it isn't raining, I'll sleep in a tree over a cave."

"Yes. Those are more comfortable than rocks, but not as comfortable as dirt." Some ponies began giving DB and Avispa some strange looks. "What? We're just talking about what we think is most comfortable for sleeping outside. Sounds like a normal conversation to me."

"Ah'd agree." He turned to Applejack, who had a small smile. "But, only when yer involved in it. Or Rainbow. Also, Cider season, day two, is open." She flipped a sign around to open. "Ah'm guessin' one fer you an' one fer Avispa?"

DB nodded as he tossed some coins into their coin chest. "You know it." Applebloom filled the mugs, then handed them to the two. "Thank ya."

"Yer welcome!"

DB and Avispa took their drinks and laid down under a nearby tree, watching the ponies go by. Rainbow flew down beside them. "I hear I've got you two to thank for getting so much cider made for cider season."

DB nodded. "And Discord. We were able to get them well ahead of schedule in one day. So, they were able to have their usual annual sale number for each day."

"It was exhausting. But, we were able to do it."

"Well, thanks. Everypony is able to get cider this time around, so no pony has to worry about if they're last in line."

"Explains why you're here."

Rainbow nodded. "Yeah. I'm gonna go now. Once again, thanks for that. I owe you."

"You owe us nothing. We were just helping a friend. You just need to enjoy the cider." Avispa took a sip of her drink when she noticed DB and Rainbow staring at her with wide eyes. "What?"

"That sounds like something I'd say."

Avisap sighed. "Yes. I know. You're starting to rub off on me."

Rainbow chuckled. "You're good for her, DB. And I'm sure she's good for you, too. Just let me know when the wedding is." She laughed at their blushes before flying off.

"I can't believe she actually madee that joke. Well, I can. It's just..." DB let out a sigh. "She just doesn't usually say anything about love. Even in a joking manner."

"I guess she just couldn't pass up the opportunity."

"Evidently." DB shook his head. "But, on another note, I heard that Rarity is going to be heading to Manehatten for a fashion show. Her outfits are made out of that new material she's made."

"Then she's sure to win."

DB nodded. "Definetly. The other girls are going to support her."

"Ah. So, we've got a job to do."

"And Discord's agreed to help, promising not to do anything he's not supposed to. At least when it comes to taking care of the homes."

Avispa sighed. "So, pranks for us."

"Yep. But we can handle it."

Avisap nodded. "Yeah. I just hope he keeps them toned down."

"Come on. I've agreed to help him with winning Twilight's heart. He wouldn't do anything that might make me change my mind. Also, Rarity made me promise not to tell the other girls, but she got tickets to the Bridleway musical, 'Hinney of the Hill'. I per-"

"Hinney of the Hill!? I've wanted to see that!"

DB blinked. "Maybe it's a mare thing. I personally don't see the big deal. Course, I don't like musicals to begin with."

"Hinney of the Hill isn't just a musical though!" And DB instantly regretted what he had begun. Avispa began telling him of what she had heard of it, causing him to rest his head on a hoof.

three hours later

"And that is why it's such a big deal."

DB blinked and replied. "Sorry. But, I think I blanked out there for a little bit. All I remember is 'Hinney of the Hill isn't just a musical, though' and 'that is why it's such a big deal'." Avispa face-hoofed. "I'm sorry but things like that just sort of...go over my head."

"I'll keep that in mind."

"But, if you really find it that interesting, you can see when you can take some time off and I'll pay for you to see it."

"Do you even know how much it costs?"

DB shook his head. "No. But, you're one of my friends. I've got a lot of money I'm not using, so why not?"

He was surprised by Avispa tackling him into a hug and flying both of them while saying, "THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU! You have no Idea how happy that makes me!"

DB chuckled. "Actually, I think I do."

Avispa looked at what was happening and all the eyes on them. She gently set him down with an embarrassed chuckle and a blush. "Right. Again, thanks for that."

"Not a problem. I'm more than happy to do so."

"I do kind of feel bad that you do all this for me and I haven't been able to do anything in return."

"What about when I was sick? Or when you helped me see if you-know-who has a crush on a certain pony princess. And you got us out of a jam there."

"That's only three things. You've cooked or bought breakfast and supper everyday. You've given me a place to live, even though you probably could have said no. You've also given me friendship, which is a form of love, even with me having helped in the attack on Canterlot. And let's not forget how many times I've made you upset, either by trying to look in your room or tried to figure something out about you without your permission."

"So what. I don't care about that. You are a friend. Sure, I was upset, but that is all water under the bridge. You've learned, we've moved on. And, yes I've done things for you. I've done what I would have done for other friends. I don't mind if you are unable to ever pay me back. That's what friends do, they help each other, even if the others can't pay them back."

"But, why become my friend?"

DB smiled slightly. "Because you needed it." DB began walking away, leaving Avispa behind.

that evening, DB's home

Avispa flew in the kitchen, where supper was ready, but DB was already in bed. A note was set on the table, which read, "I didn't know when you would get home, but here's something for you to eat, whenever you get here. Enjoy."

Avispa sighed. "You're too good of a friend. I wish I could make it up to you." Suddenly, she had an idea. "It may not be a perfect way to pay him back, but it would let him know I'm grateful." She went to the hive mind. "Mother, I have a request. Do you remember those weapons we found a few years back?"

"Yes."

"I'd like to have them brought here."

"ARE YOU NUTS!? Why should I risk some more of my children getting caught delivering weapons?"

Avispa sighed. "If they come through the Everfree, I can meet them just outside of Sweet Apple Acres, which will keep them from being discovered, as it is far from anypony. The only two things they'd have to worry about is being seen by a zebra, who should be asleep if they come by at midnight, and the creatures of the Everfree, which are easily evaded by flying."

"Why do you even want them?"

"One, we have no pony to teach us how to properly use them. Two, we have nothing else we could turn them into, so they're just taking up space there. Three, they'd be able to get some use here."

"Fine. I'll send them. They'll be there in a few weeks."

"Thank you, mother." Avispa sighed. "It gets harder to talk to her each time. Oh well. Let's get some food."

Me: Well, there's that.

Informant: Any particular reason for those weapons?

Wolverine: He'll probably forget about the reason when he gets to it.

Me: No, I won't. But, there is, which everyone will see later. But, for right now, review.
