Back for more and I decided to leave the conclusion of Tron's world for the next chapter, mainly because I had something stuff to fill for this chapter alone.
Chapter 52
Sora vs Rinzler! Oncoming Conflict
"Generalized amnesia?" Sora repeated slurring his words a little.
"Yes, it's a type of dissociative amnesia in which the person forgets their entire life and the people around them. From what you say, Luna can recall details which feel natural to her such as motor skill learning which is the movement of muscles in the body and other things that she was probably taught at school. The problem is she can't remember her own identity. It's something separate from the skill and knowledge on basic functions that she's picked up along the years." Ansem explained.
"What do you think caused it though?" Sora asked, "I mean I can try to help her but unless I know what caused it, we might not get far."
"These kinds of things are usually caused by psychological factors. More than likely she probably experienced something extremely traumatic in her past that caused her to unconsciously sever the connection between her heart and her memories." Ansem quickly called the bartender over and order another drink. He asked if Sora wanted another but the sixteen year old declined. He was too busy thinking about something else.
The dreams! They have to be connected to this. Maybe if we can figure out the secret behind these dreams then- Sora figured he should tell Ansem about the dreams but then thought against doing so mainly for Luna's own privacy and the promise he had made to her. She had been quite adamant about asking him not to tell anyone else until she could figure things out.
"The heart is indeed quite a mystery," He heard Ansem say before looking over, "But memories even more so. What exactly are they and how are they connected to the heart? How are memories connected to our dreams for that matter? It may even be that we have memories stored deep within us that we are unable to unlock."
"What makes you say that?" Sora asked, maybe the music was getting a bit too annoying now. He was starting to feel as if someone was watching from behind but whenever he turned around all he could see was a crowd off people that didn't seem to take any interest in the two strangers with hoods over their face unless the bartender counted.
"The data I hid in you. It unlocked itself when the time was right. Maybe we have hidden memories that are too powerful or too dangerous for us to discover." Ansem theorized before picking up the glass and letting the golden liquid run down his throat. Sora remembered back to his first visit to Halloween town and Dr. Finkelstein's experiment in order to give the Heartless he had created a heart. The outcome had not turned out well to say the least. A similar thing happened the third time he visited in which a robot experiment had run away from the good doctor's laboratory because it had wanted a heart. The presents which it had taken were made with the love and tenderness of a child in mind and through the experiment thought it could gain happiness by stealing the presents. Maybe the presents had been filled with the promise of memories, which had been one of the things the experiment had wanted to obtain.
"You know, you might end up drunk if you keep drinking that." Sora warned.
"I have no idea what you mean." Ansem acted innocently before taking another swig just to see Sora's face.
"This music is annoying me now." Sora decided to strike up small talk and get away from their serious discussion.
"I didn't think you minded considering you've been eyeing the woman with the white hair for quite a while now." Ansem smiled.
"You noticed? I thought you were too drunk to even care really," Sora joked, "No, it's just that I keep thinking of something when I see her."
"And I suppose you're not going to tell me?" Ansem enquired.
"Nope." Sora watched the girl carefully and imagined a brief glimpse of auburn hair for a second. He wondered if he would ever have the guts to tell her how he felt, but at the same time he almost didn't want to tell her for some strange reason he couldn't explain. Maybe it was nerves or maybe it was something else. He didn't have time to think about that now. After Ansem's contact appeared, he would set off to find Luna and get her home safely regardless of whether Ansem decided to return with them or not.
He was just about ready to pass out from boredom when two females sat down on seats next to him. Quickly realising who one of them was, Sora pulled down his hood and grinned.
"Sora!" Luna, the closest person to him, burst out in joy and hugged him. For a second he felt her warm cheeks against his and blushed wanting to cover his face back up again.
"Glad you're alright," He said after she let go off him allowing some time to hide his blush, "Where were you?"
Luna told her story from the moment she had woken up on the Grid, going into detail on the light cycle battle, her escape with Quorra and Sam and meeting the maker of the Grid, Kevin Flynn. Sora was reminded of Yuffie quite quickly but he didn't care enough to tell her to slow down, he was just glad she was safe.
"So where is this other friend of yours?" Sora asked looking around for this Sam Flynn she had been talking about.
"I told him to look for a man named Zuse. He's somewhere over there." She pointed to where there was a pretty big crowd. Luna immediately recognised one of the individuals among them as well. She had been one of the girls who had given her the identity disc on her back before she had been taken by the guards.
She pointed this out to Quorra and Sora who looked over in the direction Luna's eyes had been set on. "You can go over and talk to her if you want. I don't think that it would be within her best interests to attack you." Quorra replied eventually. Luna nodded, hopped off the seat and began her walk to the female program.
Sora watched her walk off before turning to Quorra, "So I take it you're the contact for the creator of the Grid?"
"Yes, do you have the identity disk?" Quorra asked getting straight to the point.
"He doesn't, but I do," Ansem spoke for the first time. Quorra blinked as if she hadn't seen him sitting there, "It's me, Ansem. Though I suppose this hood wouldn't help much." He looked around before pulling down his hood and handing her the identity disk concealed within his cloak. Quorra took the ring shaped item into her hands and examined it for some time. Seeming content with it, she replaced her own disc with Kevin's and handed Ansem her own disc.
"Just in case." She told him as he accepted the disk. Both Sora and Quorra could tell without the need for words that they were both concerned, Sora for Luna and Quorra for both Luna and Sam. Getting the feeling that Ansem wanted to stay instead and drink more, the two left the table in search for the other two. Annoyingly, they found that they had to squish through the large crowd in order to get where they were going. They had decided that heading to the back was their best chance as that was where the other female had been before she had disappeared behind a crowd of dancers, "Sora, this way." He heard Quorra call loudly. He turned in the direction of the voice and followed her out of the crowd to see Luna, Sam, the girl with white hair that Luna had been looking at and some other guy that Sora had never seen.
Zuse closed the door behind Luna and clasped his hands together in a satisfied manner. He was dressed rather flamboyantly and coupled along with his extroverted personality, she was sure he was the main attraction at every show and party he went to.
"Sorry about the disguise. A need to reinvent myself for self-protection." The man, who had first announced himself as Castor to Sam, had revealed himself as Zuse after hearing about Sam's connection to his father.
"So you adopted a new persona. But what does self-protection have to do with anything?" Luna asked.
"I was involved in the purge, assisting the other Isomorphic Algorithms. Unfortunately, we failed and he took out all of them. Well that is except Quorra of course. Speaking of which, how is the little dove doing?" Zuse swung his cane around as he walked around the room. Luna looked over at Gem, who had been the girl with white hair she had gone to talk to. It seemed that unlike other programs, her emotions were unwavering and she always seemed to have a smile plastered onto her face.
"She's in the club actually. But for now let's talk about getting out of here." Sam said.
"Of course. Now, you have the disc and all you need to do is get to the portal which would be… right there." Zuse pointed out of his window for Sam and Luna to see. They looked out to see a glowing white light stretching up into the clouds as far as the eye could see. It was resting on top of one of a tower that was far away from the city.
"Thanks, we'll be going now." Sam told him about to head for the door when Zuse stopped him.
"Don't you want to stick around for the festivities? You're missing quite a lot." Zuse looked out of the window again. He seemed to be looking out for something but Luna wasn't sure what it was and she wasn't sure if Sam felt the same as her but she was feeling uneasy.
Something isn't right here. Luna thought to herself as she stared at Gem. That was when she saw Gem look at her, if only for a brief second, and wink.
"Sam, we have to get out of here." Luna said but it was too late. An explosion rocked the building and Luna turned around made for the door. She opened it to find guards parachuting in and Heartless popping into existence.
"Let the fun begin!" Zuse danced around crazily. Sam flashed both him and Gem a look of disgust before leaping out of the room and onto the dance floor with his disc in his hand. Luna followed and the two along with Quorra, Sora and Ansem huddled together to watch each other's backs.
"Ansem, head back to the elevator. We can handle things from here." Quorra instructed. Ansem nodded and was about to run off before he stopped and turned, "Good luck." With that he took off without looking back.
Sora struck first hard and fast, focusing mainly on the Heartless while dodging the guards' attacks. Luna quickly assisted in helping him to fend off the Heartless' attacks by attacking as his defence while he attacked. Quorra flipped mid-air and threw her disc shattering one of the guards into pieces before combining her throws with Sam in an effort to take out another guard. The guard could barely resist two discs hitting his own one after the other and he soon fell on to the ground before Quorra jumped onto him and finished him off.
Luna's Dream Seeker collided with the discs and knocked them back to their owners sending them flipping and smashing into the ground in a heap of digital pixels.
"Luna, duck!" Sora shouted and she did just in time to hear a jet of fire sailing over her head. The shot hit the guard who had been aiming at Luna square in the chest and he crumpled to the floor unconscious. Luna muttered a quick thanks before jumping back up and throwing her Keyblade upwards at the disco ball. The blade cut through the string attaching the spherical object to the roof causing it to fall and shatter on a guard's head knocking him out. The group of four worked quickly to take out their remaining foes however this did not stop the oncoming assault as more guards parachuted down from above and more Heartless popped up on the ground next to them. Along with them was the one Luna and Sora recognised as Rinzler.
"Over here, quick!"
Everyone turned around to see Kevin Flynn beckoning at them from the elevator. Sora swung at Rinzler while the others escaped for the elevator in order to bide time. Both of Rinzler's discs clashed against Sora's Keyblade. Then with a grin, he jumped backwards and made a run for the elevator. Rinzler quickly pulled out a grappling hook; its claw extended out and attached itself to the disc in Quorra's hand before retracting back along with the disc. Before Quorra could leave, the door closed and the elevator started to move downwards. Another explosion was heard up ahead and the elevator shook violently causing everyone to press their hands against the walls of the small compartment.
"The disk! It's gone. We need to get it back." Sam said but Kevin Flynn had better ideas.
"No! No, it's too late. I told you to wait and be patient and now we have to pay for it. Once again the disc is back in Clu's hands." Kevin closed his eyes and breathed in and out several times before opening them, "A last minute sprint to the portal. If we make it, we may be able to stop Clu in time."
"Hey, where's Ansem?" Sora asked.
"I didn't see him on the way here. Are you telling me he came down at some point?" Kevin wondered but Sora didn't answer. He was too terrified to think of what Ansem's disappearance meant. He told himself that maybe he was just hiding somewhere from a bunch of guards and that they would find him somewhere around the city. But when the doors finally opened to let them out into the open air and neon-lit city, the first thing he saw in front of him was not Ansem, but the person he least wanted to see at the moment. And this person drew his weapon and aimed and the next thing he knew, Quorra was lying on the ground, her eyes lifeless.
"You!" The hissed words had barely escaped his mouth before he was already chasing Abraxas down the street. He heard the cries of Luna behind him but he didn't stop, he just let his anger guide him through the streets and past the other programs in his struggle to get to Abraxas. He slipped through a group of people chatting and continued running into the next intersection. Seeing Abraxas turn left at the intersection, he turned swiftly and sprinted as fast as he could down the road.
Suddenly Abraxas made a surprising move slipping into the building he was near. Sora's mouth parted slightly but he remained focused on his goal and ran into the building before stopping. He looked around but could find no sign of the cloaked man, at first anyway. Backing down the hallway and looking around he failed to predict the slam of a door to the left of him against his back. Craning his neck side by side, he grunted as watched Abraxas run past him and back down the hall he had come from and back into the street.
"This is getting really old!" Sora shouted after entering the streets and beginning his chase once again. Abraxas turned right quickly in between two buildings and Sora repeated this act only to find nothing but a dead end for a reward.
"What? That's impossible…" He looked down the alley but all he saw was a brick wall in the far back ending the route. He walked out into the street, looked left and looked right but he saw no sign of an organization coat, "I saw him come in here!" He found it hard to believe his own words and soon enough he was placing his hands against every part of the world he could find. Ansem had told him that exploits could happen and he had seen it with his own eyes so it wouldn't have been a stretch to say that Abraxas had escape via a bug in the programming. But no matter where he looked he couldn't find such a thing, he had even double checked and not once had his hand fell through anything which could be described as being not solid.
Luna caught sight of him as he ran back out of the alley wearing a complete state of confusion.
"Did you find him?" Luna asked quickly.
"Does it look like I've found him? Urgh, I saw him come in here." He repeated placing his hands on his head. Luna walked into the alleyway slightly disturbed by Sora's sudden harsh tone and walked out a few seconds later just as confused as he was.
"But, if he did go in here then… there's nowhere for him to run." Luna said.
"That's the point! He should have been blocked off but… forget it, I'm sorry I shouted at you." He apologised though Luna could tell that apologising was one of the farthest things on his mind right now.
"It's okay. But we don't have time to think about that now. We need to get the disc back. Don't worry about Quorra, apparently Sam's father is going to um- do something to reboot her system." Hearing her say this slightly calmed Sora down but not enough for him to forget the way Abraxas had just played with him.
"Where are they?" He asked having expected Sam and his father to follow Luna.
"On their way to the portal. With Quorra it will take a bit for them to get there though. Kevin said something about a solar sailor."
Sora could only nod as he remembered the solar sailor that he, Donald, Goofy and Tron had used to get to the MCP. Instead he asked if she had seen Ansem but Luna shook her head. Sora lowered his head before looking back up, "Well, let's head back to the club and see if we can get that donut back."
"Uh, donut?"
Sora laughed, "What? It looks like one." Luna amused herself with pondering how Sora was so easily able to shift from anger to being his old cheerful self in an instant. Maybe it was because he felt that he couldn't sit around a mope when he knew he had to get both Sam and his father back home.
"Wait a second Sora. We can't take the disc just yet."
"Why not?"
Luna sighed before telling him, "We have no way of getting to the portal. That means Sam and Flynn will be stuck here even if we did take the disc back right now. Plus there's no guarantee that the guy who took the disc is still in the club anyway."
"Okaaaay? So…"
"I'll just tell you the plan. We sneak onto the ship that Clu's in and when it sets off for the portal since that's most likely the first thing he'll do, that's when we swipe the disk. We then wait until the ship gets to the portal, we sneak off, find Sam and Kevin and boom… mission accomplished. We go back home and go back to making fun of Aerith and Goofy's Ice Cream again." She laid out for him.
"That makes me wonder, how long do you think we've been in here for?" Sora asked.
Luna smiled gloomily, "I can't say for sure but I do know that time moves faster here in comparison to the real world and it feels like we've been here for hours so…"
Sora gawked, " You're saying that barely any time has moved in the real world? That's insane!"
"Well I'm not sure it's barely, maybe one or two but… hey Sora, look at that!" She pointed with her finger to the giant ship looming above them, stretching out from one end of the city to the other. Sora recognised it without second guessing as being the ship he and Ansem had escaped from. The Rectifier he had recalled Ansem naming it, a giant warship which served as a carrier from this world to the outside world.
"Let's get back to the end of the line club. I think it's heading there so maybe we can find a way into it from there." Sora said and the two started running back to the club. By the time they had gotten there both of them were exhausted and panting like crazy.
"Come on… Luna… don't- don't tell me… that's all you-you've got?" Sora panted out heavily.
"That's not… fair. I haven't trained with Phil… in a while. You're… the… lazy one." She panted back leaning against the wall and sitting down to catch her breath.
"Man, I really need some… of what Herc's having… right… now. Phil must be feeding him the… good stuff." Sora's mouth watered as he imagined Phil blowing his nose at Hercules digging down into a mountain of meat and potatoes. He reached for the vision and snatched only to have it disappear in his mind.
The two waited for a minute before continuing into the club. Sora pressed the arrow button pointing up on the elevator and they ascended up the tall building. Sora looked all over for signs of damage caused by the explosion but if anything had been destroyed, it appeared to be very minimal. The thing that he had noticed was shattered was the glass pane behind the elevator as it stopped on the top floor.
As soon as the door slid open Sora and Luna ran out quickly and stuck to the wall. Sora nodded to Luna before peering out from the corner to observe the scene in front of him.
"Well, you have the disc and of course that means you can get to the portal," Clu remained silent so Zuse further added with hesitance, "Of course, I hope this means that our… unprecedented partnership continues on even after this. You see… I was wondering about taking up your mantle and ruling in your stead as you expand your sphere of influence so to speak, in the outside world. I could of course keep a watchful eye out for any intruders and there's always the matter of Kevin Flynn."
A wide smile spread across Clu's face, "Of course." He watched Zuse's eyes shift nervously around. He was right to be afraid. Clu turned around and gave the affirmative to the guards as he walked to the elevator. Sora and Luna backed away further until their backs touched something. They turned around quickly, dropped and squeezed in under the glass table that they had bumped into. Clu stopped and looked around suspiciously for a second though he was unable to spot them and hastened by the timer on the bombs set around the club, he didn't really have much time to search anyway. Sora managed to peek out slightly just to get a good look at the members residing in the elevator. Other than the obvious Clu, Rinzler and the guards, another person caught his eye. Ansem! He wanted to call out the older man's name but doing so would have attracted attention that they didn't need.
As soon as Clu, Ansem and the rest of the guards had disappeared along with the elevator, Sora and Luna burst out of the table and running towards Zuse and Gem.
"Why are you here?" Zuse looked at Luna as he spoke.
"You think we were gonna leave without that disc? Look, we don't have time. We have to get out of here now!" Luna shouted running over to the bomb and looking at the timer. It was currently at thirty five seconds and counting down.
"You're willing to help us even after all we've done?" Zuse asked sombrely. It was an unusual change from the attitude he had previously shown. Even Gem had not brought her usual sophisticated smile along with her to the occasion.
"Let's just say the enemy of my enemy is my friend," Sora answered walking over to the elevator. He pressed the up switch but it didn't seem to be working.
Of course they stopped it from working. Sora slammed his hand against the button while looking back to Luna. There was only one option left, and he wasn't sure if it would even work but he had to try. "Huddle together." He ordered running back to them quickly.
"What?" Gem asked but Sora didn't have time to explain and Gem didn't have any time to argue. She could only trust the Keyblade wielder. A barrier soon formed around the group and before Luna could call out the name of Sora's spell a bright light filled the room. The shield started to crack under pressure but Sora still managed to maintain it through using up most of his energy.
Suddenly there was no floor underneath them and they were all falling and screaming.
"Gravity!" Luna screamed quickly. A purple aura formed around each person as they fell, but they weren't falling as fast now but rather floating downwards.
Sora's feet soon landed on the ground, "Good job Luna. Looks like you were training with that gravity spell after all."
Luna laughed wanting to shrink into the corner, "Yeeaaah, about that. That was kind of just luck…"
"And what luck it was. Thank you," Zuse bowed before adding, "We're forever in your debt users."
"Uh, no you're not. Just get out of here and do something actually decent with your lives. You might want to start out by helping the programs around here. Just my suggestion." Sora winked at them before walking away along with Luna to the door.
"What about Clu?" Gem spat the name out like it was poison. There seemed to be something behind her eyes as she said the name, something that neither Sora and Luna or Zuse had seen in her before.
"We'll handle him." Sora promised with a smile before leaving along with Luna out of the front door of the building in order to chase after Clu and the others.
"Users… I think if there's anyone that will be the revolution of not just our world but theirs, it will be those two." Zuse flipped his cane about and lowered his white top hat so that I covered most of his forehead.
"They have the potential to do great things. That is if they stay on the path…" Gem responded. Zuse raised a brow at her but she said nothing else and walked past him towards the door.
"Sleep." Sora crouched behind the two guards and whispered the spell with his Keyblade in hand. The guards patrolling the entrance to the Rectifier dropped to the ground woozily leaving Sora and Luna free to sneak in. After leaving the club they had managed to quickly track down Clu and the others and while Sora would have liked to take the praise for his excellent tracking skills, it would have been a lie considering they were downright awful. Finding their way to the ship had been purely based on a guess that if they followed the path where there were the most guards patrolling the town, they would eventually reach the ship. That ended up taking them to just outside the outskirts of Tron city where the ship was currently docked and waiting for lift off.
The two slashed their way through Heartless quickly on their way down the corridors before arriving at three doors, one on the left, one on the right and the last door in the middle.
"So which are taking? Think we can get lucky our first time?" Sora asked pressing his hands against each door. They all refused to open though there was a small keyhole by each one which could easily be opened by the Keyblade.
"We just need to find a place to hide right now. This place is ridiculously big and I'm not sure we should split up either." Luna emphasised how wide the ship was by parting her hands widely.
"But if we wait too long it might be too late. Let's just start with door number one and see where we go from there." He pointed the Kingdom Key at the left-most door and after hearing a sharp click, the door slid open automatically.
As previous, it was impossible to tell where they were going or even if they were going around in circles or not. The corridors seemed to twist at such an alarming rate that Sora and Luna had become almost paranoid that something would pop out at the last moment. Yet no sign of any Heartless or guard could be seen or heard down the long corridors and they were starting to wonder if they were going the wrong way. It seemed unusual that a ship prepped for war would be sporting little to no guards on its floors.
"The ship is moving." Luna indicated by bending and pressing her ear against the metal ground. A soft hum could be heard from the engine which had not been heard beforehand.
"This is ridiculous. We'll never find it at this rate!" Sora stretched his arms and yawned, "Y'know after I'm done with this, I'm getting some sleep."
"You and me both," Luna agreed before laughing, "The others will probably want to know where we went huh?"
"They can wait. Sleep first." Sora said though he knew that it was probably unlikely that they would allow them to get some rest and would instead probably bombard them with questions.
Sora and Luna eventually decided to go back and try the middle door. This path was just as easily confusing as the first one, offering no indication that they were even heading in the right direction.
"I don't know about you but I am getting really nervous about this." Sora almost felt as if it were a natural diet of some kind to be ambushed by at least Heartless on a daily basis, but nothing was coming their way. Something had to be going on and either they were on the wrong ship or Clu was preparing for something that needed the attention of every soldier.
Finally they came to an elevator at the end of hall. A sigh of relief escaped from Sora's mouth and he smiled knowing that they might be getting somewhere at last. For Luna though, she was still nervous and paranoid about the whole thing. She tried to imagine what traps could be lying around, probably even a bomb in the elevator or something really crazy. She sucked in her breath and stepped into the elevator along with Sora. An unsettling delay followed Sora's press of the button. Sora stamped his foot on the ground in annoyance which somehow managed to cause the door to close, either that or it had been a complete coincidence that he had done it just before the elevator had decided to move.
"Well that worked," Sora nodded his head and started tapping his fingers against the wall to non-existent elevator music, "Hey Luna, do you think… Abraxas is here?"
"He's not our priority right now Sora. If we meet him we'll deal with him… together this time preferably. Right now though we need to help Sam and the others." Luna pressed her face against the glass screen of the elevator and watched as they climbed higher and higher up the ship. It amazed her that they had the technology to build a ship of such vast and incredible scale. What could one even do with such a ship if they were in possession of it by themselves? She didn't even want to think of it. The place could easily fit about fifty or so Highwinds from the look of it.
"You know, you've changed a lot since I first met you. You're more confident." Sora gave a warm smile.
Luna threw her best smile back though it came out more sheepishly than she'd hoped, "That's really only the case when you're around though. If I were alone I definitely couldn't do this."
"Either way, I'm glad I met you Luna." Sora's smile extended into a grin. Luna wanted to do the same but knew she couldn't. There was something on her mind. Something Kevin Flynn had told her earlier.
"Sora, I have to tell you something. It's about Tron." Luna was about to say the rest when she heard the ding of a bell signalling that they elevator had stopped.
"You know something about Tron? Please tell me." It was more like begging than just asking and she was worried how Sora would handle the information once it had gotten out.
"The truth is… Tron is… Rinzler." As soon as the words left her mouth, Sora's vision felt blurry and everything around him began to spin in various directions. Had he heard her correctly?
He placed his hand on his forehead, "What did you say?"
"Tron is Rinzler… well, he's not the version from the other Space Paranoids that you went to but Kevin said that this Tron worked with him along with Clu to create the perfect system. Then these ISOs came and Clu began to feel jealous. He disconnected his ties to Kevin Flynn and turned Tron against him, hence Rinzler," The hurt on Sora's face caused her to turn away to face the elevator, "I wanted to tell you, I really did… It's just I couldn't find the right time to tell you."
"When did you find out?" Sora asked slowly. Somehow, he wasn't as surprised by the news as he had expected to be though still surprised enough to feel tears welling up in his eyes. He had known, back from the moment he had clashed with Rinzler in the arena, he had felt something familiar there, like an old friend calling out for help.
"I was having dinner with Sam, Kevin and Quorra when I had first met him. He explained everything about how he came to the Grid and Clu… you're going after Rinzler aren't you?" Luna asked turning back to meet him.
"What other choice do I have? He's my friend. If there's a chance that Tron is still somewhere in there I'll take it. No matter how much pain I have to bare, I'll take it if it means saving him." Sora said while wiping the tears from his eyes but more seemed to come back.
"Do you need some time?" Luna walked up close to him and gave him a hug. Sora dug his head into her shoulder and let loose on the tears. It had really been the first time he had ever done something like this with a girl, even his own mother. He had of course received hugs before from her and Kairi, but here he was crying into the shoulder of someone he had just met over a month ago, the worst part being that it felt natural, as if it had been a lifetime. He had never been one to let himself go this quickly especially with girls but with Luna, he felt that he didn't need to hold back. She had problems and he had some of his own and sharing and understanding each other would be the best policy going forward.
"No, I'm just… happy that I get to see him again I guess. Though I'm not sure this was how I imagined it to be." He chuckled into her shoulder. The two soon parted and soon enough Sora was back to his old self. He knew he had no time to cry, he had a friend to save, scratch that, he had six friends to save now.
He looked down what looked like a repeat of the hallways from the first floor. But this time when he faced them, he faced them with strength and conviction. As they ran down the hallway and struck down each Heartless they faced, he had only one thought on his mind.
Don't worry Tron, we're coming for you.
So the next chapter will be Sora and Rinzler fight at last as well as two more epic fights which you do not want to miss so be sure to tune in for the next exciting chapter of Dual Destinies, now with 100% more powering up.
