Previously in 'Til I hear you sing once more part 2...
Sandor did not open his eyes as Ramsay spoke, "Leave us." The guards left the room, "Sandor Clegane. Amazing how you went from being the Hound and Dog of Joffrey, but then a King of your own. But yet, here you are. About to die at the hand of a bastard. I swear to you that before your wife dies, I will fuck her bloody after my father does."
His laughed echoed through the dungeons, but soon it stopped short and came in gasps. Sandor looked down at Ramsay and saw blood coming from his mouth. As he dropped to the ground, Sandor saw a man pulling his sword from Ramsay's body.
It was Jon Snow.
…...
As men fought outside, Jon ran to the tied up Sandor and untied him, "Seven hells, Sandor, what has happened to you and Sansa? Where is she?" Once free, Sandor grabbed a dagger from the floor, "She's in Roose's room. She is ill and could lose the baby any moment, Snow. We have to get her and the children out of here. Oh gods, the children! I have no clue where they are kept." Jon nodded, "You go get Sansa and I will go find the children. We shall meet back." Sandor nodded and both ran from the room to the loud fight above.
As Sandor ran down the halls to Roose's room, he came across Lannister men fighting Bolton men. Blood was on the walls, the insides of men from both sides upon the old wood floor. He looked in each room until finally he came upon a locked door. He pushed up against it with his shoulder, making the old wooden door break from its hinges with very little strength. As Sandor entered the room, he saw two handmaidens huddled in the corner of the room, looking between him and Sansa, who was laying in the bed, her wrists tied to the head of the bed.
He walked to the bed and started untying her, the eyes of the other women never leaving him. Sansa was barely conscious and as he went to lift her, Sandor looked at them, "You best leave this place and not look back. Take all the food and clothing you can and go somewhere. If we win, I will not give mercy to those that are still here."
The women gasped and ran from the room as he followed behind them, carrying a heavily pregnant Sansa in his arms. As he rushed down the halls, she opened her eyes and whispered, "You came for me." Sandor nodded, "Jon is here, Sansa. He is finding the children and we will ride away from here." Sansa smiled even though she was weak and she heard so much anger in Sandor's voice, she knew they would have to win this battle.
…...
Jon ran through the Dreadfort and finally heard children's cries coming from a small room. As he entered, he saw a dirty Baelfire and Marian holding each other, "Uncle Jon!" Both stood and ran to him, "Hold onto me, I am saving you." Baelfire and Marian held onto him as he ran from the room with them in his arms. Baelfire whispered, "Are you the prince that daddy said would save us?" Jon looked at the boy in his arms, "I am no prince, but I will save you just the same."
…...
Arya sat on her balcony once more as she always did, but this time, she held a note in her hand from the King of the Realm. A silent tear fell from her eye as John walked onto the balcony behind her, "Arya? Are you alright, love?" She quickly wiped the tear away and sniffed, "I am fine. I-I just-" Arya looked up at her husband and gave him the note she received. As he read it, his eyes widened, "Seven save us. Arya, your sister is-"
"She is at the Dreadfort and is being kept by Roose and Ramsay Bolton. Tommen promised he sent hundreds of men by land and sea to save them, but Sansa-she is not as strong as the rest of us. I mean, sure she has become stronger, but she has no skills. I fear for her, John. My sister is pregnant with her prince or princess and she could-" Arya stood and began to cry as she was pulled into her husband's embrace. She kissed his neck and pulled away, "Meg sent me a note as well. She says that she is alone in her castle with the twins and her handmaidens. Jon has left with Ghost to find Sansa and the others. Jon has a hurt leg, he-"
"Arya, you must calm yourself. Come." He gathered her in his arms and brought her to the bed, "I am sorry, my love. There is nothing we can do now but pray to the Gods and wait. Your sister is stronger than you think, we have all seen it. She will make it through this." Arya nodded, "You are right. Please, will you lay with me?" John nodded and slid into the bed with her, holding her to his chest, waiting for her heavy breathing to come. But neither went to sleep, for both felt the fear for the families safety.
…...
Jaime Lannister unrolled a note from Tommen and Brienne walked behind him to read it over his shoulder. Jaime sighed and threw it down on the desk, "He sent a few hundred men. Roose Bolton will be surprised and most of his men are further North, but will they make it out?" Brienne rubbed her rounded belly with one hand as the other played with Jaime's hair, "Jaime, do you think they will make it? Do you have the faith in them?" He looked up at his tall wife and nodded, "I think they will. But I wish I could help."
Brienne walked over to the chair near the fire and sat down, "I suppose now we just have to wait."
…...
As they all waited for word on whether Sandor and Sansa would make it out of the Dreadfort alive, Bran had just received word of his family. He sat in the throne room, the words from the messenger lingering in his head, "Your sister, the Queen, and her husband and children have been captured by the Bolton family. Tommen Baratheon has sent men to help their escape."
Bran sighed and looked to his left, "Hodor? Bring me to Bronn and Eliza, please." Hodor walked forward and lifted the growing boy in his arms, "Hodor." Bran smiled, "I know. Within the next few months you shall no longer carry me, old friend." He was brought to Bronn and Eliza's room and Hodor knocked. Upon the door opening, Bran was greeted by little William, "Bran!" The small child giggled as he was lifted by his father. Bronn saw Bran's sad face and sighed, "We just heard the news. It is spreading through the city like fire." Bran nodded as he was brought inside and placed into a chair, "What should we do, Bran?"
Bran thought for a moment, "There is nothing we can do. We have been told to wait until further word is made from Tommen." Eliza took William and sniffed as she wiped her tears, "I can't stand of the thought of them being there. The children!" She began to cry again, but Bronn hushed her, "Should-Should we prepare?"
"The Boltons are not kind people. They killed my brother and mother and nothing will stop them from killing Sansa and her family. I say we prepare for the worst news to come. Do not tell Rickon of what has been said. He will not know until it is done and true."
…...
Sandor carried Sansa outside and into the snow where he met with Jon, who was carrying the two children. Upon reaching outside, four Lannister men ran to them, "Your grace, it is an honor to see you all alive and well." Sandor looked at Sansa, "She is barely alive. We have to get her into a carriage. Do we have one?" The men shook their heads, "We have a cart, your grace. We must get her to the sea as soon as possible. Going by boat with be faster."
Sandor looked down at Sansa and the children, "Take them. Snow and I will finish here." The children cried, "Papa! We love you! Please!" He kissed them and had Jon hand them off before he handed Sansa to the remaining two, "Keep her warm and safe. And go as fast as you can. We will meet you soon enough." As men fought around them, Sandor kissed Sansa's forehead and she opened her eyes, "Don't leave me now." Sandor sighed and walked from her, her weak cries piercing his heart, "Don't. Sandor? Where am I going?"
Sandor was rushed forward by Lannister men and was handed a sword. Sandor growled, "Where is my horse?" He rushed to the barn and saw Stranger, on his hind legs, almost as though he could fly. Sandor calmed him and mounted him, "Let's kill them all."
…...
Roose Bolton ran down the dungeon steps and saw it to be empty, except for one still body on the floor. He ran to it and rolled it over to find his bastard son. Roose shook his head, "He killed him. The foolish boy!" He stood and looked at his guards, "This is out of my control. Both of you are leaving here with me. Gather more men and we shall leave now."
The guards left Roose to run to his chambers, where he saw the door knocked down and Sansa missing from the bed. He growled and punched the frame, "My Lord, your horse is ready." Roose growled, "They took her! By the Gods I will get her back! Let's go!" As Roose escaped out the back, Gendry and Theon ran out from the front, hands raised to the Lannisters. As they were captured, Sandor rode by them, "Those boys are returning with us. They were captured just as we were." They were placed in the same cart as Sansa and the children and they watched Sandor fighting men as they rode away.
Within thirty minutes, the Bolton men had surrendered and threw down their weapons. Jon smiled, "Sandor! They have given up. But Roose Bolton is nowhere inside. We think he escaped with some of his guards." Sandor growled and reared his horse before riding to the large group of Bolton men that were still alive. He looked at the fifty men in front of him, "Put them in the fort!" The men looked at him with wide eyes as they were pushed into the large fort. Sandor rode his horse inside, "Roose Bolton has escaped without being seen and one of you know where he has gone. Either one of you step forward and speak, or there will be consequences."
Everyone was quiet until one man stepped forward, "He escaped and is going by horse to the Frey's." Those around him yelled in anger for speaking, but Sandor shouted, "Go on! What does he want with the Frey's?"
"He works with the Frey's and has plans to hurt the Queen in the North!"
Sandor nodded, "Very good." He went to turn the horse, "Are we to live? Shall we be forgiven?"
Sandor smirked, "Oh yes, you shall be forgiven. But that is between you and the Gods." He turned the horse and yelled, "Close the doors." He rode out and the Lannister men closed the doors, leaving those trapped inside to yell. He looked at Jon, "Burn it down." Jon nodded in understanding; this was to avenge Sansa. After Jon and the others threw torches on the fort, Sandor sat on his horse and listened to the yells and screams of the burning men inside.
Sandor turned the horse, "Let's get to the family."

I really tried in this chapter since it has been so long since I posted. Sometimes, grammar and spelling slips past me in re-readings and I hope you all understand. I have been working on this story for a year now, and I love all that review and follow and read it. Thank you!
