"Don't think about that." Ron said soothingly. "We'll find it. We haven't many more to go. We just have three more horcruxes until Voldemort is mortal again. If we don't find one here, we will keep looking until we do."

"Thanks, Ron." Liana said, leaning her head against his chest as they swayed back and forth. "For everything you do for me…"

They stayed in that position, surrounding by many other dancing couples, until the lights from the dock came into view, glimmering across the ocean waters. Liana leaned up against Ron still; she was feeling exhausted. Today had been a long day: running away from Severus, going to Hogwarts, going to the Caribbean and beginning the journey of recreating Voldemort's honeymoon. She was emotionally drained.

"Let's go relax by where we'll dock, so we can get off quickly and head to bed." Liana nodded as they went to the side of the boat. The shore was getting closer now. The warm breeze felt relaxing to Liana, if she only thought of that and not of what was happening at home…

She rested her forearms on the rail of the boat and looked up at the sky. The stars were bright. She hadn't seen the stars in what felt like forever. There was too much light pollution in the states; she hadn't seen them since before she left Hogwarts last spring, many months ago.

Liana felt arms around her from behind. Ron held her as she leaned against him, her hands on his arms as they grasped her closely. They stayed that way with no words. They both knew the content each other was feeling to be so close to each other again.

2.

Severus paced Remus's home in London. Sirius sat in the corner drinking something strong while Remus and Tonks tried to help think of plausible places Liana could have gone with her three friends. It was well into the middle of the night, but sleep was not going to occur for any of the guardians anytime soon.

"Albus knew nothing!" Severus spat. "I hadn't even known she had any potential leads on a horcrux."

"Maybe if you didn't lock her up abroad this wouldn't have happened." Sirius mumbled over his drink. Severus looked at Sirius with a death glare as he flicked his wand in his direct, smashing the glass in Sirius's hand. The liqueur fell onto Sirius's lap as the bits of glass landed around him. "Do you want my help or not, Snape?" Sirius growled back.

Remus tried to calm the situation. "Let's go over any potential places she could be again, and tomorrow we will start visiting them."

"We've done that already. There are no more locations that we haven't thought of." Severus groaned. "I'm going to try and get some sleep."

"Let's all try and get some sleep." Tonks said to the group as they dispersed to their rooms.

Sleep didn't find Severus at all that night. He knew he was never going to breathe easy again until he knew where Liana was, and that she was safe.

3.

Back in the Caribbean, Liana was still in Ron's arms, and Hermione and Neville were standing next to them, but in a more platonic position…

The four were all tired, and no ideas were discovered about possible horcrux locations. After the sunset cruise was docked, the four left the boat. Ron keeping an arm around Liana as they walked away from the ship in the cool night air.

When they turned the key to their resort room, Demon came bounding to them. Ron stopped to pet him while Liana and Hermione got ready for bed in the bathroom, and Neville put sheets over the couch he would be sleeping on. The girls left the bathroom and crawled into the massive bed intended for honeymooners. Neville was already asleep on the couch.

Ron grabbed some extra blankets and pillows as he tried to get comfortable on the floor. Demon came over to Ron and curled up next to him. Eventually sleep found everyone.

4.

The sounds of tropical birds and the ocean woke Liana up. She looked around the room. Neville was asleep on the couch, and Ron and Demon were curled up together on the floor. She crawled from bed, trying not to wake Hermione, and she stepped onto the balcony to watch the sun rise. She heard steps behind her. Hermione was stepping out with her. "It's gorgeous here alright…" Liana nodded. The two were silent for some time as they watched the sun.

"Liana…" Hermione began softly. "Is there anything between you and Ron, besides friendship?"

Liana was silent. She looked behind her to make sure no one was listening. "I don't know… But for the first time, I don't think I would mind if there was. It's different now. Maybe because we aren't away at school, maybe because I feel we are old enough to explore that now… I don't even know what Ron thinks, but I'm enjoying the closeness. It feels more intimate than the friendship we have always had…"

Before Hermione could respond, there was a knock on the door of their room.

"Room service!"

The two girls rushed inside and opened the door. The smell of food woke the boys and Demon up instantly. A large cart was moved into their room. Liana filled a plate with fresh and local fruit. The room was silent while everyone ate.

When the breakfast in bed was over, Liana went over the details of the day's events, as she read them off the itinerary. The four were soon in their swimsuits and headed to the beach for their surf lessons. When they got onto the beach, the boys took their t-shirts off. Both Liana and Hermione had sweatpants on with their swimsuits and rash guards. When they got to the surf school they removed them.

The lesson started with an instruction on the beach about how to raise yourself and bring yourself down on a board. Liana felt self-conscious even though she basically had a shirt on. The swimsuits that Hermione and she bought were so revealing on the top as well as the bottom.

Soon they were out in the water, and the hours went by quickly. Liana enjoy the weightless feeling of something greater pulling her across the earth. It was different than a broom or even the car she flew with Ron in their second year. She controlled those as they moved her along. There was something magical about the earth's force of nature pushing her, something so much greater than her moving her… Something she had no control over; something so much greater than her.

When the moved into shore, everyone's arms felt exhausted. Their whole bodies ached. Liana noticed even her ribs were tender from laying on the stiff board for hours. The entire group was relieved the next event of the day was going to be a massage.

They went back to their room and took turns showering and snacking on leftovers from breakfast. Hermione noticed that Liana pulled one of Ron's baggy shirts on with her shorts… They went down to the spa area of the resort, but the manager of the resort interrupted them.

"I must apologize." He began. "I tried to explain to the masseuses you are all one couple, and they need to accommodate for that, but we cannot find a room that will hold four massage beds. I'm terribly sorry. Is there any way you would be alright being in pairs for the experience?"

Liana assured them that would be fine. She figured she would be more comfortable if it were just Hermione anyway—since they would be naked.

"Excellent!" The man exclaimed. "You two this way, and you two that way!"

Before Liana realized how they were broken up, she was being pushed into one room with Ron while Hermione and Neville were being pushed into another room across the hall. When the door was shut behind them, two masseuses came forward, one female and one male. They instructed them to remove their clothes and get under the sheets then they would return.

"I won't look…" Ron said awkwardly as he took her shirt off and wrapped the other sheet around his waist and slipped his shorts off then hopped onto the massage table.

Liana gave him a Snape worthy look as though he better keep his word as she put the sheet around her waist and pulled her shorts off. Then she slipped Ron's baggy shirt over her head. For a split second, Ron peaked and saw her bare back as she raised the sheet higher on her body and turned around onto the massage table.

The massage then began. Liana felt the tension slip away from her muscles—not her mind though. The next hour was relaxing as long as she didn't think about what could be happening at home…

5.

It was early when Severus had awoken that morning. He hadn't slept much—if at all. He crept downstairs to find Remus nursing a cup of tea in the dark kitchen.

"I was wondering when you'd be up." Remus sighed. He looked exhausted.

"I'm not going to sleep again until she is safe, at least not without some sort of sleeping aid potion." Severus sounded weak, as though he expressed all the anger within him, and now the fear was coming through.

"We'll leave for the The Burrow once the sun comes up." Remus assured Severus. They were hoping Molly or Arthur may know something, or at least her magical clock could assure Severus they were momentarily slightly safe—or in mortal peril.

The sun finally started to illuminate the sky. Severus and Remus flew to The Burrow. Severus did not care that it was incredibly early.

"Severus! Remus!" Molly exclaimed. She was surprised to have guests. "Is everything alright?" Upon asking that, she went around the corner to check the family clock. "Where is Ronald?" She came back into the room with an angered expression.

"What does the clock say?" Remus asked.

"Vacation!" Molly shouted.

"Vacation?" Severus and Remus asked together. Severus wondered to himself that maybe she wasn't looking for horcruxes yet.

"You hadn't looked at the clock before now?" Severus asked.

Molly shook her head, "I have been busy for the past couple days and hadn't thought they'd be anywhere, but school. "Just Liana and Ronald left?" She asked, "Oh!" Molly sounded as though she had a realization. "Did they elope?"

Severus's eyes widened in fear, but then he added, "Miss Granger and Mr. Longbottom are also with them."

"Victor Krum and Luna Lovegood, Granger and Longbottom's partners, said they all went to search for remaining horcruxes."

Molly looked anxious. "Liana is seventeen now, isn't she?" Molly asked.

Severus nodded. "I have already been wishing The Ministry could alert me of underage magic… That's how we found her when she was kidnapped by Greyback…"

Severus and Remus discussed possible locations with Molly for some time. Finally, Severus and Remus rose to leave The Burrow. They were headed to their first location of where a horcrux could be… Although Ron's location on the family clock confused Severus greatly.

With the sound of two pops, Severus and Remus disappeared from the Weasley house, and they then reappeared in a gloomy cemetery by a large home. Severus felt a pit in his stomach knowing Liana was here before, in her fourth year with Cedric Diggory…

6.

Liana felt as relaxed as she could when the massage was over. Ron wrapped the sheet around his waist and got dressed so that he could leave the room to Liana. Ron stepped into the hallway where Hermione and Neville were waiting.

"You guys got dressed fast!" Ron said.

"We just wore out swimsuits." Hermione stated.

Ron looked at her as though that was a genius idea; although, he didn't have any regrets that they did not think of that themselves…

When Liana stepped out, they returned to their room. They played with Demon on the beach until it was time to get ready for dinner.

Ron and Neville were ready quickly. They wore similar clothes as they did on the sunset cruise the night before. Hermione stepped out from the bathroom in a fitted dress of white lace with a white slip on underneath. Her hair was big and full of product. Liana followed in a black dress of lace. However, Liana did not wear a slip under her dress, a black bandeau top and higher wasted black underwear could be seen underneath between the fine holes in the material. Liana's hair was full of product to counteract the humidity as well, but her hair was sleek and straight instead of Hermione's curls.

The four wished Demon a farewell, and they headed down to the beach. Their dinner was a table for four, set up on the sand with candles surrounding them as the sky began to darken from the setting sun. The conversation that night consisted on talk of the horcruxes, and Voldemort whenever they were not within earshot of the wait staff.

When the night sky was dark, they rose from their chairs and returned to their room. On the way to the room, Liana shivered. Ron noticed and put an arm around her, rubbing her arms to warm her up. Liana looked up into his eyes and smiled.

Neville unlocked the door, and the four got ready for bed. They rented a muggle movie, and slowly each Gryffindor fell asleep…

7.

It was well into the middle of the night when Severus and Remus returned to Remus's home in London. They had no luck searching Tom Riddle's home for horcruxes. The entire place was empty and abandoned, and Severus knew that Voldemort wouldn't put a part of his soul into a piece of garbage.

Tonks had a dinner prepared for them when they returned, but Severus felt too worried to touch much, same for Remus. They two grilled Sirius about if he had any knew knowledge of Liana or Voldemort since Sirius was the acting spy, but Sirius assured them that there had not even been any meetings for those with the Dark Mark.

When the sun rose the next morning, Severus and Remus apparated to a place neither had been since Liana was a child. They stood before a house that Severus knew too well. A sign was before the house stating that the place looked like rubble to muggles, but this was the location that Liana Violet Evans stopped He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, and this was where Lily Evans Snape was murdered.

Remus put a hand on Severus's shoulder, and they entered the home. His mind filled with joyful memories of his life with Lily, and the one year they all lived here with Liana. He tried not to focus on the horrific nightmare that happened here when he saw his wife murdered.

Severus wasn't expecting to find a horcrux here, but he was desperate for a clue, and he thought this would be a good place to start. He moved from the entryway to the upstairs. He walked past his room with Lily and went straight to Liana's baby room. The walls were a soft rosy color and green wide stripes—they had decided on making it as much Gryffindor and Slytherin colors as was appropriate for a baby's room.

Remus was surprised he didn't go into his room with Lily first. He knew the pain of Liana's safety was making Severus crave closeness to his daughter more than his late wife…

8.

Meanwhile, the sun was starting to rise in Liana's room. Beams of sunshine streaked between the sheer curtains as she heard the waves crash gently outside. Slowly her friends awoke as well. After everyone was up for a few moments, a knock came at their door for their breakfast in bed. The four piled plates high, and they all climbed into the bed to finish the movie they started watching the night before. Even Demon was on the bed with them.

Liana leaned back against Ron's chest as they watched the film. He put his arm around her and placed it on her hip. The guilt was not bothering Liana much anymore. She felt an ache when she thought of the torment she must be placing on her father, but her feelings subsided when she thought about the torment he had put her through for the past few months.

The four Gryffindors eventually got out of bed, and got dressed. They spent the day exploring the island they were on, and looking for any clues to where the Hufflepuff cup may be. They tried antique shops thinking maybe Voldemort thought it would be safe in someone's house in a random part of the world.

The got lunch and dinner at small restaurants, and they ate the local cuisine. When the sun started to decent, Liana felt nervous. She had the most hopes on the day in the jungle being successful, tomorrow, but it was starting to concern her that they hadn't found any hope that a horcrux was even on the island.

9.

Severus finally broke down and took a potion to ease him into sleep. He knew if he didn't get some sleep then his thinking would not even be clear to help in the process of finding his daughter. We was emotionally drawn. When he left Godric's Hallow earlier in the day, he felt just as broken as he had when he left Godric's Hallow sixteen years ago. He felt a part of him was missing, and as though he didn't know how to carry on.

There was to be a meeting with The Order in the morning. Severus needed everyone's assistance in locating his daughter at this point…

10.

Liana woke the next morning and dressed in her swimsuit and rash guard with some denim shorts. She wore her hair down, but didn't style it. From the humidity she had natural waves. Hermione dressed the same, but wore her hair in a high bun. The boys dressed in their swim trunks and t-shirts.

The group packed the room and the four of them checked out. They took a Jeep to the jungle part of the island, Demon riding in the backseat between Ron and Neville as Hermione drove; Liana sat in the passenger's seat. They figured Hermione had the most experience with muggle driving. Luckily, the island didn't even require any sort of license to drive.

They finally stopped the car when they had driven down a trail, and the vines about were getting too low, and the trail was no longer wide enough to fit the Jeep. The four got out; Demon started sniffing the ground. Demon barked and then put his nose to the ground, following a scent.

The four figured that was the best place to start. They had a trail of where Voldemort and Bellatrix explored, and Demon seemed to be following the same direction. They moved along as Neville put temporary tick marks in the trees with a spell, so they could find their way back to the Jeep easily.

It seemed to be hours that they walked, everyone was looking out for any sign of a golden cup. Liana was going to suggest they take a water break, but she swore she heard trickling sounds from nearby. They quickened their pace to keep up with Demon as they pushed the brush aside and found themselves looking at a crystal clear pool of water with a waterfall of nearly twenty feet high pouring water down into the pool.

The area looked like an oasis. Demon plummeted into the water. Liana felt relieved to see the area, not just to rest, but because she knew this location was part of the trail.

Liana rubbed her scar. "This hasn't hurt in months. Voldemort has blocked me out, so I don't see anything he is doing."

"Maybe that is a sign we are near a horcrux, and your scar can sense that…" Hermione suggested.

"Let's split up and look around." Neville added.

The four broke up and started searching. Hermione and Neville seemed to take the higher ground as Liana and Ron split up and searched the lower area where the pool was. Liana took her shorts off, and Ron took his shirt off as they both entered opposite ends of the pool.

Liana plunged under the water to try and spot anything. When she felt she had searched the whole bottom she went near the waterfall. She climbed up and stepped through the falling water. There was a small cave like enclosure behind the waterfall. Her scar hurt with more pressure.

Liana spun around as she heard feet smack on the ground behind her. Ron had jumped through the curtain of the waterfall as well. "My scar hurts terribly in here."

Ron moved closer to Liana. Wordlessly, he placed one hand on her waist, and one hand on her back and he pulled her closer to him. Liana gently put a hand on his chest near his shoulder. She felt safe in Ron's arms. As though all the strength in his body was protecting her.

Looking up into his eyes, she whispered his name and inched her face forward. Ron moved his hand up her back until he was cupping her face. They moved their faces closer together, until they were only inches apart.

Then Ron suddenly pulled back. "Liana!" He moved away from her. Liana felt rejection strongly, but then she forgot all about that as she knelt down with Ron, who was kneeling on the floor of the cave and pointing to a glimmering streak of gold, welded into the surrounding rocks.
