Hello!
Here's the next chapter!
Mack, Tanner, Brady and Lela were all in deep conversation as they walked along the beach.
The main topic of the conversation; Coral and Seacat.
"I mean, things can't be that serious between them," Mack said.
"Yeah, he only caught her," Brady agreed.
"Only caught her?! She would have died if he wasn't there!" Tanner exclaimed.
"But what if she likes Seacat more than Butchy?!" Lela panicked.
"I don't think you have to panic," Mack reassured Lela, "it's not like they're serious about this."
What they were not expecting was to see the the two surfers they were talking about burst out of Big Momma's.
Tanner's eyes nearly popped out of his head when he saw what they were wearing.
Coral still had on her 'wedding dress', her veil though was now partly covering her face as she ran whilst Seacat still wore his suit.
"What the...?" Mack breathed, at the sight in front of her.
"You were wrong then," Brady murmured to Mack, to which he received a light thump on the arm from her.
Just then, Coral and Seacat noticed that the four were there.
They glanced guiltily at each other, before bolting in opposite directions.
Tanner muttered a quick good-bye before following Coral, leaving Mack, Brady and Lela alone on the beach.
Brady ran off to follow Seacat and Lela and Mack decided to just head home.
"Coral just tell me what happened in there already!" Tanner demanded.
Coral shuffled from one foot to the other and didn't make eye contact.
By this point both of them were stood in their small living room, discussing what had happened.
"Coral, how many times do I have to ask?" Tanner asked, "I've already asked you about five times!"
Knowing she couldn't put it off any longer, Coral looked him straight in the eye.
"I kissed Seacat."
Tanner's mouth dropped.
"You…you did what?" Tanner stammered.
"I didn't mean to! It was an accident! It's just as bad for you as it is for me! He's one of my best friends!" Coral exclaimed.
"Wait…how…how did that…happen?" Tanner asked, stumbling over his words.
"Well, all the other surfers wanted us to get together. So they started trying to persuade us and everyone started dancing and singing. Then the next thing I knew, I was being pushed up onto the stage and so was Seacat and then they said that we were getting married, but obviously we weren't and then someone shoved me and I fell on to Seacat and…we kissed," Coral babbled.
Tanner stayed silent. He opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out.
"Tanner…" Coral mumbled, "it gets worse."
"What do you mean it gets worse?" Asked an exasperated Tanner, "How can it get worse than this?"
Coral looked him straight in the eye, "I liked it."
CheeChee was staying at a friend's house again.
She'd never had a real home and still didn't have one now, all she had was her bike.
The two biker girls, one who owned the house and one that was staying over like CheeChee, entered the small bedroom.
One of them had long, flowing dark mahogany hair, deep brown eyes and light milk chocolate-brown coloured skin.
Her name was Jazz and she was pretty tough, she wasn't someone you wanted to mess with.
Probably the exact opposite of her was her best friend Dimples.
Dimples had deep copper coloured hair that exploded out of her head in frizzy ringlets that fell past her shoulders.
Her hair was accompanied by dark violet eyes and…well…her dimples.
She was very energetic and very friendly and always managed to brighten up Jazz's attitude.
Her sweet southern accent did tend to get on The Rodents' nerves sometimes though.
"Please!" Dimples pleaded.
"No, I'm not letting you," Jazz grouched.
"Why won't you let me style your hair?!" Dimples whined.
"Because last time it looked like a bird's nest," Jazz replied, sitting on her bed.
"But I was just experimenting," Dimples defended.
"I don't care," Jazz huffed.
"Can I do yours then Chee?" Dimples called over to CheeChee, who was sat staring out of the window. After CheeChee didn't respond Dimples called again, "CheeChee, can I do your hair?"
"What?...Oh, no it's alright," CheeChee mumbled.
"What's wrong with everyone today?" Dimples complained, "no one wants to have fun anymore."
Dimples threw the hairbrush she was holding down on to the bed in frustration, but then she got an idea.
"Jazz!" Dimples exclaimed, running over to her best friend.
"What?" Jazz drawled, not interested in the slightest.
"Come on, we're going to make ice cream sundaes," Dimples demanded.
"But…" Jazz protested.
"Come on," Dimples pleaded again, taking Jazz's arm and leading her towards the door, "CheeChee are you coming?"
"No, I'll stay here," CheeChee replied.
"Oh well, suit yourself!" Dimples hollered, ushering Jazz out of the room.
"Uhhh!" Jazz groaned, as her friend tried to force her down the stairs.
"Come on," Dimples coached, "we're making ice cream sundaes whether you like it or not!"
"But surely I should decide," Jazz said.
"Why?!" Dimples cried.
"Because it's my house!" Jazz exclaimed.
"I don't care!" Dimples called, but in a joking way of course.
She'd never do anything to hurt anyone intentionally.
Soon enough the two friends were out of ear shot in the kitchen.
Leaving CheeChee alone with her thoughts.
I hope you liked it!
I'm not really sure whether I like this chapter or not, I like the characters I created but the rest of it isn't that good in my opinion.
