Author's Note: What is this? Chapter 50? Where did you come from?! I didn't particularly do anything special for it, just a fluff-filled chapter full of letters. I figure I'll do something special for chapter 100, yeah? Considering I know I'll get there!

Aerith,

I met someone to travel with. Well, rather, he saved my butt against a Heartless. And now, maybe now I'm saving his.

Bear with me on this one…

So he says he was on a World and then there was a ton of darkness surrounding him, then he was falling. Then he tells me that he was literally walking through the darkness. Tell me how that happens? Is that even possible? Thoughts?

I mean, I still believe him, so…

It's just, it's really weird.

Anyway, his name's Cloud, and he's nice. He's a good hand with a sword and I'm sure he's not the exact sort of person you had in mind when you said that I should find someone to travel around with, but, I can see a friend in him.

He's even a country boy like me! He's from Nibelheim and I'm from Gongaga! It's weird, finding another friend from so close to my home.

Anyway, sending this letter from Disney Town 'cause this is where we stopped to get food and Cloud some more clothes. He's actually sleeping right now. We got a room at the inn for the night. He was exhausted.

At some point, I want you to meet him, but he's uneasy around a lot of people right now, so maybe in a little while.

Besides, I want to visit you, too. :P

(That's supposed to be a funny face…)

Please tell me you're laughing.

Anyway, how are things back at Traverse Town? I haven't heard from you in a bit. Though, maybe your letter's just taking a bit. I have moved around a lot and the last World I was on (the one where I found Cloud) didn't seem to have too much in the way of civilization. I mean, your letters find me by what has to be magic anyway, so I'm not sure why I'm too worried about this.

Miss you, Aerith. Every time I look at the sky, I think of you. What's weird, is that it's always the same sky. That part never changes. So I know that when I'm looking at the sky, it's the exact same sky that you could be looking at the very same time.

Also, I still need to bring you to Disney Town. Man, do they have good food. And the last place I was had a pretty nice sky, but was otherwise fairly boring.

And then there's Nibelheim, but I get the feeling Nibelheim's not too different from Gongaga (though I've never been there myself). Honestly, if I'm taking you back to my home world, I might as well just take you to Gongaga or Costa del Sol. But there are so many other places for me to take you. So many places I've seen. Aw, man. I miss you! I can't wait to take you somewhere else.

Anyway, Cloud's awake now, so we might get moving. Love you!

Zack,

Sorry I haven't written in a bit. Things got rather exciting here.

Leon came home! At first, when I heard the star shard, I thought it was you. And when you didn't come straight to the door, I confess I got a little bit worried because I thought you might be injured. As it turns out, it was Leon who had arrived instead. And while I was hoping it was you, Leon certainly was a nice surprise!

He's home for good, well, for the most part anyway. Rinoa's off on an adventure of her own and Leon can't really be a part of it. None of us can really believe it, not even Leon himself. We all sat in shock for a bit right after he got back. Leon joked that Cid might need glasses because Cid hardly recognized him. Yuffie's very shy around him right now. I suppose it's understandable. It's been two years.

Wow, it's been two years. Can you believe it? Time has this funny way of passing.

I hope you come home soon so we can all just sit and chat. Bring Cloud! (When he's more comfortable being around people.)

So, to respond to your letter, now that my news is out of the way…

I am really glad that you found someone to travel with. And, to be honest, I didn't have any sort of idea who it was you were supposed to find, so Cloud sounds like a wonderful person for you to share adventures with.

Honestly, it might help Cloud to come anyway and sit down and talk with all of us, seeing as each of us has a story involving the darkness—but you said that he doesn't people well right now, and I completely respect that.

I'm sending good thoughts his way.

I haven't ever heard of someone falling into the darkness that consumed a World and then surviving it. Cloud must have a very strong heart. That's what Leon and Cid say. Strong hearts can lead a person just about anywhere. I hope Cloud is okay. (Again, I'm sending him good thoughts.)

Last night, I went outside and looked up at the sky. I imagined that you were looking at the sky too and that we were able to share a moment. I look forward to the time when we're standing together looking at the sky. The sky may be the same everywhere, but that doesn't change the fact that it will be a lot nicer to look at when you're standing right next to me.

Traverse Town is surprisingly quiet, Heartless-wise. It's not even that we have Leon to help so the load is lighter, there are actually less Heartless right now. It's kind of nice, but I know it won't last. Maybe the next time we get a huge onslaught, you'll come by and help us. I like it when you come by. And not just to help with Heartless, either. I like seeing you!

I miss you, Zack. I'm sure you know that. I look forward to being able to see you again.

Be careful adventuring and watch out for the darkness. I'm sure you know, but the darkness has funny ways of getting into people. I'm sending good thoughts your way.

Write back soon! I look forward to post from you. I love you!

Rinoa,

I'm not sure what quite to write, considering it hasn't been that long since I last saw you, but I wanted to write a letter anyway.

I think I really surprised Aerith when I came home. I can say for certain that she wasn't expecting me when she found me in the hotel lobby. But, nonetheless, the welcome was warm. Cid was so surprised he hardly recognized me. I don't think I look that different. I mean, I know my hair's longer, but other than that…

Cid swears I'm taller.

Yuffie's been avoiding me, but I'm not really that surprised.

Traverse Town is really quiet compared to everywhere we've just been. I mean sure, I help out around the place and there's Heartless to kill at least once a day. So I get up, I deal with that, and then I go back home. There's no tension, there's no planning, there's none of that that existed in between each Sorceress we went out and fought. Because, admit it, we were always busy.

How are things going? I know you said you may take a week or two to actually get things started, but I'm curious nonetheless.

Also, Aerith would like to meet you. I know you probably knew that already, but she's told me a couple of times already. She also wanted to know if she could be of any help with what you're doing as a Sorceress. Aerith's a pretty powerful mage herself, so I figured I'd let you know.

She's taken a liking to you. She says you've done me good. Whatever that means. Okay, I know what it means, but I'm not sure quite how she's using the phrase. Anyway, she might also start sending you letters. I figured that's okay. Mostly because even if she can't help with what you're doing as a Sorceress, she's very interested in what is going on and she probably won't believe me when I tell her stuff, she'll want to hear it from you. Because that's Aerith for you.

Is it weird to say that I miss you? It's only been a few days, but I miss you. If there's a point where you need my help, let me know. I'm serious, let me know. I won't hesitate to come join you and help out. I will tell Quistis this too! I don't want you getting into trouble that I could have fixed by being there.

And, I suppose on that vein, if there's something going on here that I could use your help with, I'll let you know. I know you're busy and all, but I'll let you know all the same.

Erm… write back soon.

I'm not sure how to close these, now that I think about it. Every letter I sent to Aerith I usually closed with what I was going to do next, but I'm not really going to do anything next, there's nothing that I'm doing right now. It's weird. I'm not rushed to finish a letter because I'm off to do something else. I'm legitimately just wrapping up a letter.

Don't think I'm weird, okay?

Squall,

I went and saw my dad. It had been five years since I'd been in the same room as him without one of us storming out of the room angry at the other. The last time I'd seen him was technically more like two years ago… but really seeing him… it's been a while.

It didn't go that badly, as I'm sure you can infer by the fact that neither of us ended up storming out of the room.

He's all right, I suppose. He was a little uneasy seeing me, because it's really obvious that I'm a Sorceress. I haven't been able to shed the wings, despite having not used magic in a couple of days now. I suppose that stunt I pulled dragging you back to the present time is responsible. I should just get used to the wings, if I'm honest with myself. I'll probably be using magic a lot.

And, flying is useful. I'm getting better at it.

But, yeah, things with my dad went okay. We talked for a bit, I assured him I wasn't going to hurt him and that I wasn't angry. He's not angry with me either, though he's a tad disappointed. Disappointed at what, I'm not sure. I feel very accomplished. I mean, I saved the world several times over, so… I don't know what his problem is.

As far as Sorceress training is going, we haven't done anything yet. Mostly because I took a couple of days to see my dad. Edea did a lot of research while I was gone, though. There's something we're going to try. She found a way that might be able to get me to do a transfer of powers back to her that doesn't involve any near-death experiences, promise! It will involve us going to the Sorceress Memorial outside of Esthar though. It will undoubtedly be fun. I suppose. The good news is, that this process doesn't have any negative side-effects or backfires. The worst that can happen is that it just doesn't work at all and I'm stuck with three Sorceress' worth of power. If this doesn't work, there isn't really another option.

I'm not too worried about it though, because Edea, Quistis, and Ellone all think it's a pretty okay idea. So…

Anyway, Aerith can write me letters! I'd be really happy with that! She can send them to Balamb Garden and then they'll forward them if I'm not there, same thing that you're doing.

I'd love to meet her, too! I'll drop by sometime. Unfortunately, there's really nothing she can help with regarding the transfer of powers. I believe you when you say she's a really powerful mage, but what's going on is mostly just between me and Edea.

After that, I'm not sure what's going on. I'll keep you posted, promise. I also promise to let you know if I need you.

Anyway, I think you wrapped up the letter just fine! I'm not sure how you're supposed to wrap these things up, either. But I suppose I should go now anyway, there's probably something I need to do for prep work.

Love you!

Rinoa
