Author's Note:

I was planning to post it in the middle of December. Oh well, I changed my mind and decided that I'll post this one out first and another one on Christmas as a small gift. And for now this chapter, the answer about Videl is here. From here on, I think you can tell I'm starting to lose some imagination here. But anyhow, some scenes are just made up to fill the gap of time. There'll be more scenes for GV after this chapter. Sorry if the story sounds confusing again. There may be some parts that seemed weird.

To prevent confusion about what I meant by 'Erase a living thing's energy' in the previous chapter, it doesn't mean that the barrier will kill anyone who tries to enter the planet but it meant that the energy inside the barrier will be erased out. So Goku won't be able to use his teleportation to Gohan. In other words, the barrior is able to block anything that tries to get in, and able to hide all presences within it.

Chapter 43: Videl's Voice

14 hours have passed since the Tournament started.

He was assigned to a room to rest or do whatever he wants. It may seem like he does has his own freedom to wander around but he couldn't think of it as one. He was sitting on a chair that he had found in the room, biting his thumb, shaking his leg impatiently while trying to figure out the next step. But it only drives him crazy that he realized he cannot find out a way to avoid what he is going to give up. And it's all because of the stupid bloodline they had in themselves and the 'daughter' whom she talked about.

Feeling lost, he decided to give up thinking for a second and have a rest. But it was not long when he realized that he wasn't that sleepy at all. He was quite tired and he knew that many hours have passed and it should around be night time on Earth by now. He is tired, but not sleepy, which is something not quite right.

As he finally let his mind rest, he was able to detect easily that he wasn't the only one around the area. It was the noise.

Feeling curious, he left the room.

But the moment he stepped foot out, he realized everything was still like a maze to him. Every interior was just like the same. Since it was not possible to detect energies in this palace as what Kuristal mentioned, he had to rely his hearing of where the noises came from. He turned to the direction where it came from and the noises were getting louder as he approaches.

There he came upon a door that was half-opened ahead. He took a peek and saw different species of aliens crowding in the room. But what made him stunned was that the place looks just like casino.

Yeah right. A casino?

He sees two large casino tables separate on different corners – left and right.

"BIG!" one of them yelled.

It was kind of awkward to see that this place looks like a Casino just like on Earth. The room wasn't exactly as big as what he would think but it was enough to fit in about 100 people.

How odd for a casino-like-stuffs in a castle? That's unheard of. Not like it's my business anyway.

"Hey, you must be the delivery boy!" a voice came and he stared at an alien who just talked to him. He blinked and before he could respond, he was pulled in to the crowd. "Hey wait…!"

"Shhhhh!" that alien interrupted. "I haven't won anything yet but, just wait until for awhile. I'm sure my luck will change. Once I win the money, take it and give it to my wife!"

He stood there dumbfounded. "Who… what?"

This alien looks exactly just like one. He has red skin, two small horns, spiky ears, long nose, skinny and around his height.

It was then that alien noticed about this delivery boy. "My wife did mentioned that the delivery boy has weird features but well, never seen a type like you before. You do look like the Bayans but something's different."

"Wait a minute… what are you talking about? I'm sure you must have mistaken me for someone else…"

But his words were cut off when a commotion suddenly rises.

A yellow-skin alien was thrown on the ground.

"No money, no game! Now get out of here!"

The crowd started making way of what was happening. The alien that was just thrown groaned and stared.

The other alien, who seemed to be the dealer, bang the table. "Do you think this is just a place you can just step foot into? You don't seem to know your place."

This alien who looked huge was twice about Gohan's size. He was quite fat too and he looked kind of dangerous to the others.

"But sir, I need money. Please give me a chance." The weaker alien begged.

This time, the larger alien left his place and grabbed up high of that alien.

"Arg…"

"Now listen carefully, I'm warning you one more time. I'm in-charge of here and I have the rights to kick anybody who doesn't follow the rules in here." And he tightened his grip.

"Arg…"

Gohan, who was unpleased to see this violent act, moved himself into the crowd and grabbed his arm. "Hey, you are hurting him."

"Hey delivery boy!" the red-skin alien was shocked to see that the delivery boy just entered the commotion. "Are you out of your mind?!"

The large alien looked down at the person who just touched him.

Yes, someone touched him.

Without warning, the alien threw a punch with his other arm at him. Gohan released his hand from him and dodged it, stunning the whole crowd.

"Okay kid, you got some good reflexes." He threw the other alien away and cracked his fingers, staring at the busybody person who just interfered. "Does that mean you want to take his place?"

"You didn't have to use violent on him to get him out." Was what he just replied.

"Kid, you sure don't know who you're dealing with."

"Oh I'm sure I'm dealing with an asshole alright."

"…" For a second, that alien seemed to be furious about his words but he managed to come out with a sly smile. "If you think you're that great, why not try to take a gamble then?"

"I don't gamble and I don't like to." He rejected right away and ignored him. He walked to the injured yellow alien and helped him up. "Are you okay?"

"Y-Yes… I'm fine…"

"Tch, if you're not here then get out of here. This is the Gambling Corner, not for trying to act as a hero corner."

"Wait!" the yellow alien cut in. "Please, just one or two rounds? I need money for my sick sister."

"I said NO! No money, no game! You know the rules! I don't care about your family matters and it's your own problem from being penniless! Why not just let her die and you will have your heart ease? Hehehe…"

"Fine, I'll gamble!" Gohan finally yelled. "Let's have 3 rounds. Whoever wins 2 rounds gets all the money they have on them!"

"…"

"No!" the red alien, who mistaken Gohan for someone else, cut in and grabbed Gohan. "Hey delivery boy! Are you out of your mind! Nobody ever wins against the dealer! Every dice he throws always favor his side!"

"Oh I wonder if he truly uses his true skills to win then. I've never seen anyone able to win forever." Gohan replied and pointed. "I don't have anything to bet so here I am to bet my life on this game. If I lose, my life is yours. But if you lose, you got to hand over all the money you have!"

"Deal!"

(Casino Table 1)

"Big or small?" the dealer alien grinned.

Gohan has to admit that he was a little reckless earlier to have a life bet with someone he hardly knows. "You haven't even roll the dice yet." He answered in annoyed.

"Oh, did I forget to mention about it? For this game, we need to bet before throwing the dice. This is what you called 'luck'."

"What? But that's unfair!"

"Nothing's unfair in this area. You were the one who wanted to gamble!"

There was nothing he can complain about as his opponent was right. He decided to have the game on his own.

"Big." He said without thinking. It wasn't his forte at all and he never even learned to gamble. Besides, what choices he chooses doesn't matter before the dice is even rolled. But he knew the sneaky smile from the dealer was strange and he concentrated on how he was rolling the dice using the simple black cup.

"Small then…" the dealer smirked and stopped rolling, hitting against the table. The table shook a bit due to that impact.

A complete silence came from the crowd. Everyone's heart beats rapidly in excitement.

The dealer opened and showed the results.

"…"

Every dices came out were all 2s, which the total is only 6.

"Gyahahahahahahaha! You lose!" the dealer laughed.

What? It came out all 2s? Can this even be a coincidence? Something's not right. I knew he must be cheating! Gohan remained calm and laughed. "Oh, it's okay. As long as I win the second round I'll still be safe."

Seeing the kid to look so confident doesn't please him. "You ask for it. Big, or small?"

"Big!" Gohan didn't hesitate a bit, knowing that it doesn't even matter.

"Small then…" the dealer started rolling the dice and within a while he placed it on the table.

At this moment, Gohan uses his hearing and realized something odd. The dices were supposed to be still rolling if it just hit on the table but it didn't. From such a distance and impact, it was not possible for it to be this quiet. Something wasn't right. Then, he stared at the dealer who was still with his evil chuckle. He was about to open the cup when Gohan hits his feet on the ground.

Out of nowhere, a sudden shock like an earthquake appears, shaking the whole room.

"Hey." Gohan grabbed the dealer's hand. "You're about to open. Don't try to close it back and show the results, won't you?"

"…" As he wasn't expecting a sudden earthquake, his trick was interrupted.

He was forced to open and this time, the results were different. 2, 6, & 8, a total of 16 points.

"What?!"

Everyone exclaimed in the room as they never expect that the so-called dealer, who has never lost in a bet, actually lost to a stranger!

"Oh, I guess I won by luck huh?" Gohan smirked at him.

The dealer growled in anger but since his trick seemed to be discovered by him, there was nothing he can do. But, where did that earthquake came from? It's too convenient to happen at a time like that! T-This kid, he did something to make that earthquake? But… no, he's not a Bayan! He can't do such things!

"Hey, why not hurry and finish the third round? Or do you feel humiliated that I stopped your winning streak?" he provoked him.

"Don't act tough, kid. You were JUST LUCKY from that quake." He glared and grabbed the cup and the dice, started rolling. "HEY YOU!" he suddenly yelled and pointed at the back.

Everyone turned back to see who he was pointing at but realized it was a trick. Gohan quickly faced back and only to see him slamming it on the table before he even make a bet.

"!"

"That was kind of a tricky distraction."

"All I said was 'hey you'. I didn't ask you to turn your back, did I?"

"Arg…"

"Heh, you can't count on your quake trick anymore this time. Since I already rolled the dice, why not this time you pick the points that will show? It'll be more fun this way? Hehe…"

"That's unfair…" the yellow alien exclaimed. "You can't suddenly change the rules like that."

"SHUT UP YOU FREAK! I am the rule here and I do whatever I like!"

"… Okay, I don't mind." Gohan replied and he sensed what his intention was. "But," he deepened his voice and changed his glare to a cold icy stare. "Using one trick is enough but I don't like people to use another low method just to gain his own advantage."

A sweat dropped. "W-What are you talking about? Just say a number."

"Before I say a number, I want everyone here to be witnesses." He turned back and smiled. "If there is a number, there should be at least a dice in there, right? Well, I DO hope that I can get my number right…" and he turned back to the dealer. "… IF the dices are STILL in there."

The dealer flinched in fright. W-What the hell is this guy? How did he know that the dices aren't in there anymore? Shit, I have to put the dices back!

"What are you doing?" Gohan caught him in the act when he tried to lay his hand into the cup. "Don't tell me you're going to put the dices back in after you took it out while we were distracted by your yell earlier?"

T-T-This… this guy!

Gohan, without warning, grabbed the cup and threw it away. Then, he gripped his arm tight enough to make him release what he was holding in his hands.

"Ahhh!"

The three dices fell off from him and dropped to the table.

Everyone was shocked to see that the dealer had just cheated.

"So he was cheating all along?!"

"Damn no wonder I can't even win once! That bastard cheated us!"

It was a humiliation and embarrassment. He failed to hide that and finally his anger burst and flipped the table. The customers were frightened by the sudden berserk of that dealer.

"Damn you! How dare you exposed my crime?!" he went berserk finally and attempted to attack Gohan.

Seeing that he was dangerous, he moved the yellow alien away from him and asked him to stand back.

"I was just doing the right thing." He said back.

"You ask for it!"

This time, Gohan dodged his fist attack but didn't fight back. However, since he saw this alien already went out of control and started destroying the casino table, he had no choice but to stop this trouble. With a jump, he reached the dealer easily and landed a kick to his abdomen area.

"ARG?!"

His eyeballs turned white in shock of that pain he received from Gohan. Within a few seconds, the dealer dropped down unconscious.

"…" Gohan was also shock that the dealer turns out to be weaker than he thought. All I did was the lightest kick I ever gave. I only intend to make him feel a little pain he deserve but… "Ah… uh, well, I'm sorry for kicking you that hard. Though you won't be hearing it for now."

It was later than he noticed how silent the room was. He looked around him and realized the people were all moving away from him. Okay, this isn't a good sign. He ignored the stares and went to corner, grabbing a bag of money that belongs to the dealer.

Then, he walked to the yellow alien and gave it to him. "It's all yours. Use the money and pay for your sister's medical fees." Well, I guess even a planet like this also have some kind of system like on Earth.

He didn't like how they were all staring at him so he left the room quickly when he suddenly felt a grabbed behind.

"Wait, delivery boy!"

He stared at him in annoyed. "Hey, I told you that you mistaken me for someone else."

"… okay whoever you are. Do you understand what kind of trouble you just did?"

"No, I don't. I only did what I feel was right. I won and he cheated. He attacked me and I knocked him out to prevent the trouble from going worse."

"You blockhead! That dealer just now was the Royal Dealer! He was assigned by the Queen here to manage the finances using the Casino service. You're just made the whole planet your enemy!"

Sigh. I have no interest in listening to anything that got to do with the Queen. Maybe I should just run away from him right now or he'll keep pestering me.

"Just leave me ALONE. I want to be alone and don't you dare follow me you hear that?"

With that, he stomped his foot hurriedly, without realizing a pair of eyes have already set its eyes on him.

...

The interior hasn't change for the past 10 minutes. No matter where he goes, the places looked the same.

One conclusion, he was lost again.

I feel like too many things happened in just a single day. From the tournament till now, I never got a time that feels like peace. Now I got another problem to think of how to deal with the… embarrass request and only have 2 weeks to think about it. This place is creeping me out. I can't sense any energy around here at all and I feel like it's going to eat me up. If I can just sense a bit of Videl… arg, no, she's a soul right now. I can't detect things like that.

"Hello."

Wow, this is really mad. I can even hear her voice. I guess I'm no good without her around.

"Hey, I say hello to you."

This is bad. I'm now even hallucination her voice because I can't see her right now.

"Hey! I'm calling you!"

Gohan felt a grabbed from his back.

Wait, this voice, isn't an illusion?! Videl...

"Videl!" he turned back with his yell, only to see a short person standing in front of him frowning at him.

"?!"

Instead of Videl he was expecting, all he sees was a boy that looks like a human. Much to his surprised, this boy here looks 100% human just like him. He wears a piece of shirt and beige pants, a hat on his chestnut haired and small professor-like glasses on him.

"Can't you at least respond to someone who just greeted you?" the boy stared up at him.

Gohan was just too taken aback that he was loss of words. This boy's voice is totally just like Videl. "You are…"

"Oh." He smiled. "I'm just a frequent customer here and didn't notice you here before. Are you new in this planet or just came by to gamble? Oh… well, from that scene earlier, you did say you didn't like to gamble. Haha."

How is he going to respond this boy? He's being too friendly to him. Okay Gohan, you're crazy. He may have the same voice but maybe it's just that a little similar. This is a boy not a girl! And I don't think the Queen would be stupid enough to release her.

Without responding, he just moved away but was stopped by the boy who just stood in his way.

"When someone ask you a question, shouldn't you be friendly and answer them? It is rude to ignore."

"Uh… I don't have time to be making friends right now. Please leave me alone and thank you very much." He answered and walked pass him.

But the boy seemed to be more persistent than he thought and followed behind him.

"Hey what's your problem? Stop following me." He turned back.

"Where are you heading? If you're going to leave the palace, the gate is the other way. You're heading further in the palace and it's forbidden for commoners like us to enter in."

Oh god, why does this boy has to share the same voice as Videl?

"That's not my problem. I'm free to walk wherever I want."

Then, the boy chuckled. "You'll be stopped by the royal guards anyway. Why not hang out with me in the garden? I know there's a place that's beautiful."

"No thanks. Leave me alone." Gee, talking to this boy is as if I'm talking to Videl in a boy disguise.

Gohan was about to leave this boy alone when the boy started coughing heavily and had to squat down in pain.

"… hey are you okay?" he asked in concerned.

"Pant… pant… pant…" the boy seemed to be in pain struggling answered. "I'm… I'm okay… I'm just coughing, nothing serious…"

"But… you don't look good."

Gohan realized that the boy doesn't look too good. He lowered his knees to reach the boy's height and gently touches his forehead. "You… you got a fever!"

"It's okay… it happens all the time." He answered weakly and forced himself to stand up. "It's just a light fever. It won't kill me."

Right after he finished his words, he lost his balance and was about to fall. Gohan grabbed hold of the boy in the nick of time. "Hey, I think you should rest somewhere. Don't you have any friends with you?"

"… friends…?" he whispered. "I'm a friend of my own…"

"Huh?"

"Well… I want to go to the Garden. Can you take me there? Since… I'm too weak to move alone."

"…"

Now that Gohan realized it, this boy has a pair of bright indigo eyes. Seeing that boy was staring at him with such like puppy eyes, he felt weakened. Something was not right but he ignored his thoughts and carried the boy up in his arms. "I don't have time to do this but I can't just leave a sick person alone."

The boy chuckled in a girlish way. "Thanks…"

"You got to lead the way, I'm clueless around here."

"Okay…"

...

In the dark eerie room with only a candle and a creepy gust of wind guarding her, Videl Satan was about to fall to sleep waiting for nothing. The dark room was so silent that it might drive someone insane. That weird wind Kuristal had summoned kept on floating around like a merry-go-round non-stop and it was the only thing that seems alive aside herself.

Then, she heard the sound of the door opened.

Outside the door, she sees a woman in long white-creamy dress. She was so bright that as soon as she steps foot into the room, the darkness seemed to ease a little and the candle lost its effect against her. There was a second she got startled by this woman's beauty and different air from her before she snapped off her thoughts and realized this woman is walking in further towards her.

The Queen had made herself fit into the size into the room since her origin figure was too big.

The wind that Kuristal had made to guard Videl vanished into thin air.

Videl had her eyes fixed at the beautiful woman. The different air from this woman tells her easily how different they were and that she came from a completely different dimension. But one look at her similar purpled eyes just like Kuristal, she could tell that they're in cahoots. Hell yeah, she's an alien anyway.

"I presume you are the Queen that the woman spoke of?" Videl started the conversation. "What do you want?"

Her reaction was unusual, thought the Queen. "I was expecting some fear in you but I guess I was wrong. It's okay, you don't have to be so curious. Killing you was not within in my plan and I don't intend to as well, that is," her tone changed. "if Gohan is able to fulfill what he has to do here."

At this point, Videl had already given up in learning what is going on anymore. But there are still questions that need some answers. "It does seem like you guys brought Gohan over here as well but, I just want to know why I am here too."

She played with her white fringe, eyes staring on the ground and up to Videl. "It can't be helped that you were unaware about it. If we don't bring you here, do you think Gohan will obey us obediently and agree to come here himself, and to accept his role here?"

Arg. Fine. I admit that Gohan is not normal anymore. For some reasons, he's still hiding secrets from me. Why is he afraid of telling me this much like it'll make me mad if I learns about it? "What do you need him for?" she continued to ask, particularly kind of interested.

"It's simple. All he needs to do is to marry my daughter and make a child."

What? Okay, she's nuts. "I'm sorry but I think I didn't absorb that."

Her reaction was about the same as Gohan but it wasn't as shock as he was.

"I need him to marry my daughter and have him breed, is that clear enough?" she replied. "I want him so badly but since his heart has already been captured by you, I had to use this resort."

"Okay you're completely nuts." Videl said it out straight.

Queen Diamond laughed softly for a second to see how amusing the human who doesn't seem to know what situation she is in right now. "You're an innocent human. That's why he didn't want you to know anything. But that's good. You REALLY don't need to know at all."

"…" she stayed silent for a moment and took a little guess. "You're talking like that guy is in love with me or something."

"Precisely, that's the problem."

Videl shakes on the spot. Did she just say that Gohan is in love with her? "So, you're telling me you captured me here because he loves me and you're making use of this method to threaten him? Is that what you are trying to tell me?"

The Queen didn't answer her for this round and immediately changed her conversation. Her eyes focused on Videl while Videl felt a chill from that stare. She raised her finger, moving it in circles and a light from the tip glows. "Videl Satan, I hereby put a curse on you."

"What?"

"Your identity as Videl will be erased. You shall be given a new identity as a palace maid. Your name shall be known as Raven and you shall not reveal anything that may reveal your true identity to anyone."

"…"

The Queen stopped her finger.

"I don't understand with what you just said." She said in confusion.

"You have been placed by a curse from me. This curse will prevent you to reveal yourself. You will only be able to speak things about your new identity as Raven and not a single thing about Videl."

"Wait, why are you doing this? What is your purpose? I recalled that I'm supposed to be a prisoner in here!"

"I changed my mind." She let out a pleased of smile as though it was something normal. "I am fond of the females and if possible, I don't want to harm them. Let's just be straight." She moved closer to Videl and finally stopped at a foot away. "I want you to be one of us in here."

The closeness from the Queen displeased and annoyed Videl as she attempts to move away. But her legs touched the side of the bed and got no way back. She turned back and glared. "I'm hearing crazy things again, aren't I? What good will you have for me to be here?"

Before she realized it, the Queen was already holding her left hand, gently. And for some reasons, she couldn't move away from her. Her body is resisting her mind and allowed this woman to touch her as she pleases. Now why do I feel like I'm being forced to listen everything she says? This isn't my body and it's doing against my will.

"Why? Feeling so miserable that you were unable to reject me away?" she mocked while still holding her hand. Her other hand moved to Videl's face. "No female on this planet is able to resist or reject me. The body you're in right now is nothing but a dead corpse and it's far worse to control than a living body, not to mention a human soul like yours is too weak to even control another alien's body. In other words, you cannot do anything on your own unless you learn how to control your new body. But once you managed to control it, you will remain in this body for eternity. Conclusion? You got no option to do what you like here. Accept your fate as one of us."

Her words were like the words of God. She really couldn't reject her and her body is not listening to her mind.

"Anyway, the planet needs more inhabitants. While having more living beings here, the planet will be even more alive than ever. That's why I see a reason for making you one of us."

Videl somehow was able to at least made her disgust look.

"I see how unsatisfied you are. But if you can become one of us, I can give you element powers as you wish. Doesn't anyone crave for powers especially humans like you? The power to use freely as they wish, for their greediness, for their pride and glory or even more. It's a chance for you."

"Do you expect me to say 'yes' to you?"

The Queen released her hand and turned back, walking away. "No. But as what I've said earlier, you cannot do anything on your own. You won't be able to escape and you have to accept your role as a palace maid. But, you aren't just a normal palace maid, well, you'll get what I mean later on. Oh and of course, you can freely walk where you want except outside of the palace. But, don't even try to expose your identity. Your curse will prevent you from doing so."

"…"

...

Meanwhile back on Earth, as it was already night time, everyone had themselves stayed over at God's temple since Karin tower is just too small to fit every one of them and lacking of beds. Chichi, who realized that at this point that she had no power to stop troubles, had to give up her thoughts of how Goku is going to save Gohan.

As for Goku, he was surprised to hear that his last resort is not going to work this smoothly.

He went to Great Kaio's planet to look for Kaio only to get to hear the bad news.

"WHAT?!" he screamed at Kaio.

"Uh… well…" Kaio sounded guilty. "I gave to West Kaio."

"Hold on!" he slapped his own face to wake himself up. "Wait, are you telling me you gave up my wristband to West Kaio?! Wait, WHY?"

"… oh, the weather is so hot today, isn't it?" Kaio changed the topic and whistled.

"Stop screwing with me! Why did you give it to him in the first place?!" Then something popped out from his head. "You're not going to tell me that you had a betting game with him again and you lost to him!"

"…"

"KAIO!"

"Y-Yeah yeah, I heard that! Okay I'm sorry. I never know that you will get to use it this quickly since you never use it before. And I didn't have any betting game with West Kaio. It's just that he got lucky and bought an empty planet which happens to be in the Northway! I wanted it so bad but he said I have to give up something but I have none! I got no choice but to hand him that wristband. It's a prize from Great Kaio after all."

Something just hit Goku's head. "Oh man you should have told me while I was on Earth! Now I really need it!"

"Huh? Oh that reminds me, why are you here and why would you need it now?"

"What? You mean you don't know what happened on Earth?"

"…" Kaio sighed. "How do you expect me to know every single thing on Earth when I have plenty of other planets to look out for? You just went back to Earth, not even a day and something happened again?!"

"It's not like I want it to happen! Anyway, I'm going to get that wristband back!" He placed his fingers and try to sense the North Kaio.

"I don't know what's going on but, I doubt you'll get it back easily." Added Kaio.

(West Kaio Planet)

"No. No means no." yelled West Kaio annoyingly. "You do know how expensive that planet I bought and got to exchange with that legend wristband. Are you telling me to give back to you?"

As Kaio told him, West Kaio is not planning to give it back easily.

"I'll do anything for you!"

"Your life isn't worth it."

"T-Then I'll be your slave!"

"I already got enough of slaves." He whistled, walking away.

"T-Then tell me what you want!"

"Fine, I'll give you a chance. I'll get that planet back in exchange for the wristband. This means the deal between me and North Kaio are back to square one."

"…No."

"! No? Why? I thought you said you'll do anything!"

"Well it's MY fault in the first place that Kaio's planet got destroyed. I got no rights to stop him from using the wristband that was given to me to get a new planet."

"…"

"As expected of Goku." A voice broke in.

His rival in the underworld, Pikkon, stepped into their conversation with an applause.

"I thought it was weird that North Kaio agreed to give the wristband to West Kaio easily with Goku's approval. But it turns out that you really needed the wristband for something huh?"

"Y-Yeah, I need it urgently."

"West Kaio, can't you just return it to Goku?"

"Are you kidding me? Only the new planet is as worth as this wristband. No other conditions fit in!"

"Goku, why not just use mine instead?" Pikkon offered and lend his wristband.

"PIKKON!" West Kaio almost got a heart attack.

"It's alright, I don't intend to go back to my own planet anyway. It's not like the people I know are alive up there."

"PIKKON! You could have given me if you don't need it!" West Kaio yelled.

"I didn't think of it until now so since he needs it more, why not just let him have it?" Pikkon just smiled and handed it over to Goku.

Goku took it from him. The wristband was just like his. Gold, soft, and a sign of 'Kaio' on it. "Thanks Pikkon, I owe you one!"

...

Goku teleported back to North Kaio and explained everything happened on Earth to him as fast as possible.

"Zarus?" Kaio muttered. "Let me see… the race…" and he slowly searched for the race through the universe with his sunglasses.

It took awhile before he finally answered Goku. "I can't seem to remember that it's within my area but I definitely had a feeling I heard about them somewhere."

"It's okay if it's not your area. Just help me search for that location and I'll just teleport there."

"Hmm… let's see… Zarus… Zarus… Zarus…" he muttered. "Oh~! I found them. I found them!"

"Really?"

"Well, now that I recall, they are a bunch of aliens that have a strong bond between each other. They never betray their comrades and their lips are tight-sealed. They're typically the race that holds strong secrets and don't collaborate with other aliens easily, kind of a nasty personality they have too…"

"Alright no need for their details. I just need to know the direction and if possible, I hope you can tell me their appearance or their energy levels."

"…" Kaio stopped and stared at Goku with an unpleased look. "Aren't you treating me like I'm not respectable? What am I to you?"

"…" Goku paused for a second before he finally caught his meaning. "Oh!" he kneeled down and prayed with his hands out. "Oh the great Kaio! You're so much a hero!"

Kaio stood there silently for a second before he let his laughter out. "H-Hehehe… Hehehe… oh the great Kaio, you're so much a hero… hehe… kind of funny… hehehe…"

"So? How was it?" Goku went back to the topic.

Kaio coughed and back to serious mode. "Okay, their energy levels are relatively low. They're not the types to fight. They have black skins, sharp ears and if you want more precise, their noses are long and sharp like a knife and they have three legs."

"Hmm…" Goku wondered. "That's easy to see but if their energy is so low… I think it's going to be tough."

"You did mention about the Bayans through the story you just said right? There is a planet called Planet Dia somewhere nearby there. But I can't see through it as something seems to be blocking from my sight. You can't sense energy there as well. But most importantly, the Zarus's home planet, Planet Sagi, has no neighbor planets around. They're somewhere near the end of the area I'm in charge of. Is that easier for you to sense?"

"I'll try."

Kaio pointed his finger to the south of where they are standing. "The planet is over that direction, super far away. But you'll get it if you can only sense a few hundred of energies around but nothing nearby."

"Okay, I'll try."

Goku closed his eyes and followed his role. But he stopped and suddenly widened his eyes. "Hey Kaio, is that place breathable? As in their oxygen and that arg… hard stuffs part which Bulma once nagged to me about…"

"You mean if you can breathe at that planet? Oh yeah, it's okay. The gravity there is the same as Earth. It should be okay."

"Okay." And Goku went back to his pose again.

"…"

At first, he had a silent expression. Slowly, he had his brows frowned. "Arg… it's really hard. I can sense a lot of energies ahead. I can't identify which is which. Oh I guess it won't hurt to just take a try."

SWOOSH

He disappeared.

Author's Note:

Guess right? Guess wrong? I think majority had the wrong ones. If supposed Videl's soul put into the Princess's body, then what was the point of saving her daughter's life which it seems wrong because that would mean her daughter is already dead and Videl's soul just replaced the body. But don't worry, the interesting part is the next chapter. I'm planning to make it funny, hope so? Next chap will be on Christmas~!
