Chapter 51

NICHOLAS/ TATE/(SOME) ARIA

Tate watched as Aria headed for the stairs as Nicholas stood at the base of the stairs, smiling. "Aria." He smiled, arms outstretched, "Would you like me to help you get upstairs?"

She shook her head, "No. I'm good. The stairs aren't too long or that bad, Nicholas. I can handle it." She replied, brushing past Nicholas as he stood there, his eyes bugging out his eye sockets. In fact, they were growing wider by the second. How amusing.

Nicholas waited for a few moments as Aria walked up the stairs and entered one of the numerous bathrooms upstairs. His eyes turning from shock to anger, "What happened? What did you do?" Nicholas hissed.

Tate shrugged, "Nothing." He replied.

"Nothing?" Nicholas thundered. "What do you mean nothing? What did you say to her?"

"She wanted independence. Didn't want to rely on us for mundane things like being carried up the stairs when the set of stairs are so short and small. Had it been the Ireland castle stairs, she would have been okay with it, but she said the Cullen home's stairs are just fine. I guess it is good exercise." Tate shrugged again.

"She's not fat." Nicholas growled, "Did you tell her she was fat?"

"What? No. Of course not, you idiot. I would be one of the last ones to call her fat." Tate protested, putting his hands up in defense.

"Then what happened?" Nicholas frowned, pacing at the bottom of the stairs.

Tate sighed, "She came out to invite us to watch the movie fest thing." He began.

"Right." Nicholas nodded, "Go on."

Tate gave him a look, "Not that I remember asking for your permission, but I got angry."

"You got angry?" Nicholas grabbed him. "At Aria? Are you insane?!"

"I have a right to be angry!" Tate protested, "Now if you listen, I'll tell you what happened or shut the hell up and get the fuck out of my way!"

Nicholas released him, "You better have a good explanation."

"I felt that she was being distant." Tate began again.

"She's never been that close to you." Nicholas rolled his eyes.

"Shut up, will you?!" Tate growled, "Always. When it comes to Aria, you always bloody interrupt what everyone else has to say!"

"Fine. I won't interrupt again. Now what happened?" Nicholas asked semi-calmly, semi-impatient.

"I asked her if her distance from us was because of Aro." Tate paused when he saw Nicholas made a move to open his mouth to talk again, "Ah-ah-ah. No talking until I'm done. Anyhow, at first she denied it, but then I got her to open up. She… she still in a sense likes him. Maybe love. But she's scared. Scared of what would happen if she got back together with him. She's scared that the same thing would happen again. That he would betray her." he stopped, sighing, "Go ahead. Talk. You look like you're dying there."

"She still loves him?" Nicholas hissed louder, "But she promised to move on!"

"I think she did try, Nicholas, but he came again. And… there was something I wanted to ask you." Tate looked at Nicholas expectantly.

"What?" he asked, "How rare of you to ask a question to me. Tell me, if I can, I will answer it."

"Don't be too hasty. I fear that you have yet to know what it is that I'm asking."

"If it'll help me understand Aria, our leader, better, then I will answer it." Nicholas replied, "No matter how personal it is. I have no problems with that."

"Great. Then tell me, have you ever felt a pull?" Tate asked. "If you did, what did it feel like?"

"A pull?" Nicholas frowned. "What type of pull?" then it dawned on him. "You mean the mating pull." He stated. "Then you don't mean that—? You mean Aria…? And… and that King Aro is her… mate, do you?"

Tate sighed, "I was asking you. I feared that it may have been the truth." He admitted, "She said she felt a tug, a pull, whenever she was separated from him. She yearned to be by his side. She… she missed him."

"So she's going back to him?" Nicholas asked, "After all we've done to leave the bloody fucking Volturi behind?"

"Heard that, jackass!" Jane shouted from somewhere in the house. "I'll beat your wimpy ass in a second."

"Please as if your virgin ass could beat me!" Nicholas shot back into thin air, knowing Jane would be able to hear him.

"Fuck off bastard. Bet you haven't fucked a chick in forever because your dick is fucking small." Jane hissed, appearing before him, her hands on her hips, making her cloak open slightly, revealing her outfit underneath.

"Bet it's big enough for your cunt." Nicholas challenged.

Jane sneered, "I like big men." She said. "Unlike you. Lanky and thin. Your dick must be the size of a baby's finger."

"Ahh, but the baby-fingered size dick is way more than enough to bring you to an orgasm for 7 days and nights in a row." Nicholas replied.

"ENOUGH!" Tate shouted, "If we are done discussing, Nicholas, I will leave. I do not want to hear about your private parts or her private parts. I have better things to do!"

Nicholas coughed into his hand, "Right. Back to the topic. I've never felt the pull before, so I wouldn't know. I heard it can get very intense though. My old coven leaders—they were mates of course—they rarely separated from each other. Even if they did, it wasn't for long and often times, they remained in contact with each other some way or somehow."

"What are you talking about?" Jane asked. "Mating pull?"

Nicholas glanced over at her, "Nothing you would know about, virgin ass." He muttered.

She raised an eyebrow, her red eyes sparkling with challenge, "Do you doubt me?" she asked, "Most of the Volturi vampires are males—men. I live there and I've lived with most of them for a big part of my life. I know more than you give me credit for. And besides, we have entered into an alliance, have we not? If it concerns, Aria, I have a right to know. In fact, I believe I have a right for Cassidy and Mara too. If something happens to them, I deserve to know. The Volturi coven deserves to know. You know we are allied with the girls. We helped you guys leave. We could have reported you, you know."

Nicholas snorted, "As if we couldn't defend ourselves. We have 6 vampires, including myself, and 3 shape shifters with us right now. And in Japan, we have even more allies there. You wouldn't stand a chance."

Jane narrowed her eyes, "You better take that back!" she hissed, "While I will stand mocking and you for Aria, you better not take it overboard. Do not think that you are exempt from my gift just because you know Aria. I am a part of the Volturi coven still, and you mocking it is like mocking me."

"Your loyalties are quite divided, are you sure you don't want to reconsider this alliance?" he asked, pretending to examine his fingers. Hmmm, perfect nails.

"While I am of Volturi, I will not sacrifice Aria's—or Cassidy's and Mara's—freedom for my own selfish greed." Jane rolled her eyes. "We are wasting time. What was it that you wanted? Mating pull?"

"Yes." Tate said after Nicholas began grumbling again about virgins and immature children. "Tell me, what does the mating pull feel like?"

"I have never personally experienced it—" Jane began.

"Great! Then we don't need to ask you!" Nicholas said, as he reached for Tate's elbow, "Tate, let's go ask someone else…."

"HOWEVER, based on my experience," Jane replied, "With dealing with mates because I work with the Volturi. For vampires, if both involved in the mating are vampires, it is much more intense. They will have a very strong urge to mate. To love each other. To please. Separation causes anxiety, fear and for most, it feels like a piece of them is missing. A very big piece, I might add. Usually, once they're mated, they don't stay apart for very long. We do have a couple of vampires that are mated to one another in the Volturi. They rarely show up or do anything. If they get assigned a mission, one of non-mated vampires usually brings the message directly from whichever Master it is from and tells them the details of the mission. Then they go complete, come back, report to the Master, and they basically go into hibernation again. They stay with their mates constantly. But the duration of the hibernation also depends on the mates themselves too. Some of them hibernate for a long time because they're new to the mating world, and they can't keep their hands off each other, some have had near death experiences and a few just love to be away from the politics and society—to live a life of peace."

"And you allow the guard members to do such?" Nicholas asked in disbelief. "I was sure that you guys were all virgins considering the way you guys live in the Volturi castle—missions, Master, orders, feed, obey. That's all you seem to do. Or at least it was until Aria, Cassidy and Mara came along."

"Okay, that's maybe what we did. But we had fun too! We have a game room, we do training. We do sports here and then. We sometimes shop for clothes. We do have things that we do in our free time. If you had stuck around long enough, you would have known." Jane rolled her eyes.

"Good information." Tate nodded, "And for some, the pulling between vampires are not as strong?"

"No. Some of them are fine as long as they see each other every one in a while, usually at least once a day. But they can be separated for longer if necessary. However, if there is a threat, they'll be much more reluctant to part." Jane explained. Even though the mutt stank bad, he was smart. He asked good questions. Had he not been a mutt, surely, he would have been a very good, intelligent vampire. Such a shame that he was what he was.

"And how the pull between humans and vampires?" Tate asked, tapping his chin.

"I'm afraid I don't know much about humans and vampires. Most humans get turned fairly quickly if they are mates to any of our vampires. If not, they're food." Jane shrugged.

"I know a bit." A voice popped up beside Jane. Alec.

"Alec?" Jane asked, turning towards her twin brother.

"Yeah. I heard. Master Aro sent me on a trip before, I had to observe this coven and at one point, three of the vampires had found mates in humans. Master Aro sent me because he was concerned about this. So it was either change or kill, but Master Aro had been gracious enough to permit them a year to convince the humans to change. One of them was about 17 years old and was in some mandatory school by the human government, another had recently graduated and was working at some big human company, and the last one was a rather… elderly person." Alec explained.

"So what was the result?" Tate asked as he grabbed Nicholas and slowed his movements. Really, the vampire was getting on his nerves. Nicholas, the Idiot as he so warmly referred to him, was annoying him with his constant pacing.

"Yes, yes, yes. What was the result?" Nicholas asked, repeating Tate's question.

"Well, it depended on the mate." Alec replied.

"What do you mean it depended on the mate? The vampire or the human?" Nicholas asked impatiently. Curse Alec with his cryptic answers. He never could give a straight answer. Always, always he had to dig and dig, ask more questions until Alec finally just gave it up.

"Both?" Alec paused, "Let me go through each couple step by step. Our first couple we had was a… very lovely and young couple. The girl was 17 years old, quite a delinquent I might add. Or not so much a delinquent as she did get good grades but she was also known as King."

"King?" Tate repeated in confusion, "Was her last name, King?"

"Not so much her last name was King, her last name was actually Williams. Her first name was Aliana. Nicknamed Ali."

"So then why was she called King at school? Was she a cross dresser?" Tate asked.

"Remember how I said she had delinquent like tendencies? Or at least she was quite a delinquent? Well, she's a fighter. Big time fighter. Don't ask me how she beat up all the guys and girls in that area, but she was known in that area. You didn't pick on her unless you were asking to die."

"Get to the point, Alec." Nicholas said impatiently.

"Her mate was in constant fear that she would get hurt or in trouble because of her reputation. He stalked her, followed her and even beat up her opponents before she even met them." Alec replied. "Of course, later on, it was all solved, but there was this one day where she just exploded in anger and yelled at him for taking her opponents and that it was a sign of disrespect and that he was mocking her ability to fight. It just went on until he reluctantly allowed her to do as she pleased. Quite an interesting girl, I might add." He paused again, "As for the pull, she felt a slight twinge of jealously at times where others flirted with him, but the pull wasn't as intense for her as it was for him. When I said stalk, he was really stalking her like with no doubt about it.

"Next story." Nicholas commanded as Alec scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"Right then. Go on, continue Alec, share with us more of your experience. Let us solve this problem together." He muttered sarcastically, "A thank you would suffice."

"Hurry up." Nicholas twitched.

"Okay. God. Geez. Second couple, recent graduate from university, worked in big company. A new start-up company. He was a great businessman." Alec began with the background information, "Vampire was a female and vampires get bored so they seek out alternatives to do. In this scenario, she had chosen to be an intern and it so happened that they were in the same department." He summarized, "Long story short, both he felt the pull greater than her. You know, at one point, I heard him confide to someone that he couldn't even get aroused when he was trying to sleep with someone—before he realized what the intern—vampire meant to him. It was like after he met her, he couldn't sleep with anyone else. Even if he wanted to, his heart and his penis did not allow him to do so."

"Why didn't the vampire female feel the pull as strongly?" Tate asked, "Surely, they would have all felt the pull."

"The female wasn't interested in dating her boss nevertheless a boss who slept with women and discarded them like trash. I believe she had associated her mate bond with absolute disgust of his… sleaziness. And she was an intern. Fresh vampire too, only a few decades since her new life. When a company lays down the rules of no relationships between interns and workers, especially bosses, some people follow them. One of them being her."

"So how did they end up together?" Tate asked. If the vampire rejected the human, surely, it would have been a fruitless event, right? "Did they even end up together?"

"Like all other cheesy stories." Alec replied, "Or I wouldn't be here telling you their story. But anyhow, he grew to like her. Pursued her very hard—even after he found out what she really was—what we really are. I would say in that relationship, he certainly noticed the pull much better than she did—or at least interpreted it correctly."

"And the last one?" Nicholas asked before Tate this time.

"Older male and female vampire as well. Except this time, they both felt the pull. However, in this scenario, even though they liked each other, he kept on rejecting her." Alec began to summarize.

"Why?"

"I don't know. Something about how the human brain works. For example, he was old enough to be her father—this was only physically, mind you, in reality, he was maybe 5 years older than her or perhaps she was even older than him— or that she was pretty enough to get any man she wanted—not some wrinkly expired man. Ah! And also his health—he feared his age would affect his health." Alec said. "But in the end, he gave in after he attempted to push her onto someone else. Only in the end he really got jealous and hurt about it to the point where he was suicidal. So then the vampire female came back to him." Alec shrugged.

"Just that? No problems whatsoever?" Tate asked.

"Well… I mean, he had to work hard to get her back, but she loved him, so there wasn't a big of an issue." Alec shrugged, "But it didn't take much. The whole reason why it happened was because of his fears and his insecurities. Once he confessed to her about his fears and insecurities, she kind of promised that no matter what happened that they would solve the problems and issues together."

"I… I see." Nicholas nodded. "And Aria feels a pull, do you think it's possible that it is the mating pull?"

"Based on your information and Alec's summary, I think so." Jane replied. "It's possible that they are."

"I second that." Tate nodded, "And if that is the case, then so be it."

"Same here." Alec raised his hand.

Nicholas sighed, "And so now she thinks that she's mated to him." Nicholas muttered, "How terrible, fate is. Those that love her, do not have the fate to be with her. Those that hurt her, are always in her way."

"But if what you say is true," Alec paused, "Then she is his mate. And he is her mate."

"He doesn't deserve her." Nicholas replied, running a hand through his hair. "He's a lying, conniving, manipulative bastard. All he's done so far is hurt her and cause her to have insecurities."

"But it's not like we can change it." Tate countered in his deep voice, "It is impossible for us to change what has been carved out for us."

"You can change what fate has in store for you." Nicholas frowned. "It is a matter of fighting against it."

"If you mean fighting against death, against something happening, then sure." Tate nodded, "But when it comes to mates, no matter how hard you deny it, fate has already created someone for you. And once you meet that person, you will never ever meet another soul that fits your soul like a perfect fit. Aria is Aro's mate and Aro is Aria's mate. We cannot change what has been determined."

"So are you saying we should support Aria in her conquest to become a vampire? A mate of the Volturi King, Aro?" Nicholas frowned, "Do you realize that if she goes back with him, that you'll be going back to a castle stock full of vampires? Unless, you plan to leave the coven-pack thing."

Tate shook his head, "My decision remains firm." he replied, "I will stick with my previous decisions-one of which was to follow Aria. I have no problems with following my Alpha into a den of blood suckers. If you still haven't realized it, I'm not entirely shape shifter either. I've got child of the moon blood running in me. Naturally, we'd be enemies, so, I am very sure that Mother Nature would not leave me so defenseless that I am easily killed and hurt by sparkly blood suckers. I will stay by Aria's side through life and death. If she chooses- IF she choosesto be with Aro, then so be it. I will follow her to the Volturi castle or to the ends of the earth-wherever she goes. It matters little to me what and where she decides to go. I will obey my Alpha's wishes. Will I obey Aro Volturi? No. Idiot, you have barely earned my trust. Even so, I would be reluctant to take orders from you unless they were related to any of the girls' well being, specifically, Aria. If she chooses to be a blood sucker, I will not have problems with it. Even if she is undead, she is still Aria all around. It's just her diet will have changed."

"How utterly perfect your views and stance sounds." Nicholas sneered, "In reality, would you be able to do it though?"

Tate gave him a glare, "I only speak for what I intend to do." he vowed. "Pack members don't leave each other. Betrayal is considered a taboo. A forbidden. We do not betray each other-" he paused, "Unless it is for our mates, but even then, it is a rare scenario. Usually pack members solve the problem itself before it gets out of hand. We are not like you vampires that switch sides and covens in a blink of an eye."

"You didn't have to attack me or the race of vampires." Nicholas muttered sourly.

Tate gave him a fake smile, "Then you shouldn't have mocked me." he replied, his tone very neutral.

"Well then, you shouldn't of-" Nicholas began.

"Enough." Tate gave him a pointed look, "We're wasting precious time. I have summarized you the details of the events of my incident with Aria. You and I both know that there are different forms of mating pulls for vampires to vampire and vampires to humans. Now, we must plan our next step."

"What next step is there?" Jane asked, frowning, "There is no next step. All that's left is love and a relationship. If Aria chooses to be with Aro, if Cassidy chooses to be with Caius, and if Mara chooses to be with Marcus-there is no changing it."

"We must let nature run it's course." Alec spoke up, supporting his sister. "No matter what you try and do, no matter what you plan, in the end, fate has already decided their fate together, their compatibility. If you rip them apart, if you force them apart-I'm afraid you cannot do that. For one, if you do anythingagainst Aria, Mara or Cassidy's wishes, the Alliance would be off and the Volturi guards will hunt you down and we will destroy you-with or without the Masters' permission. Furthermore, if you force them apart, Master Aro, Caius and Marcus will just look for them again. There is no stopping them. They will not be denied by the likes of you."

"We have power. We will survive." Nicholas glared, clenching his fists. How dare the Volturi think they're all powerful? They weren't. Nicholas had a lot of friends, allies and acquaintances. He wouldn't go down that easily.

"If you plan on escaping with the girls-think again. They will fight you, you know. Unless you lie to them but then… you wouldn't be a coven member anymore, would you? You would be a liar. A deceitful liar. One who does not listen to his coven leader and betrays his coven leader's trust. Imagine how...upset the girls would be. They would never trust you again." Jane smiled sadistically. "And then we would once again have a reason to hunt you down, to torture you, and to kill you."

Nicholas shuddered slightly, his eyes widening for a fraction of a second before they regained their composure. "We will not go against, Aria, on my honor as Beta of the pack." Tate stated in a neutral tone.

Jane and Alec looked at each other before they looked at him. "Very well." Jane nodded.

"But don't underestimate us. Don't underestimate the Volturi guards and our love and protection for those we deem worthy of our protection. They are under our protection. They have our love. And they even have our loyalty. We have eyes and ears everywhere. No matter where you go or be, we will find you."

"Enough of your threats." Tate's narrowed his eyes, "May I re-assure you that I know some very good hiding spots of the shape-shifter land that even you would not be able to access. If need be, we will go there. It's best if you remember your loyalties. Switching at the last minute to another side would only get you killed."

The twins smiled, however, the smile did not reach their eyes. "Don't forget." Alec repeated, his voice laced with threats.

"We are on the same boat right now. Do not worry about us betraying you." Jane replied. "If you sink, we sink as well."

"Same back at you. We will not betray you either. If something goes awry, we will sink together." Tate nodded as the twins nodded in confirmation as they disappeared before his very eyes. He could hear their footsteps pitter-patter across the house. So they had gone to Aria's room. How… typical. He released his hold on Nicholas from much earlier as Nicholas began pacing again. He groaned in frustration. "Stop your pacing this instant."

"Don't tell me what to do." Nicholas spat back as his pacing speed increased. "I'll do what I want and it so happens that it's pacing."

"What is there really to pace about?" Tate asked, crossing his arms.

"Everything. Aria. Cassidy. Mara. All our work." Nicholas clutched his head as he paused in his pacing momentarily.

"What work are you talking about?" Tate frowned, "Personally, as a friend, a coven member and a family member, I don't see why you should be concerned about what to do next. Rather, you should be concerned about what is to happen to the girls and how you could support her."

"But it's him." Nicholas protested.

Tate raised an eyebrow, "I don't exactly know… these vampire kings much." He confessed. "However, both humans, vampire, shape shifters and whatever other species are out there—sometimes, they deserve and need a second chance, perhaps, these… blood suckers are one of the few. Trust me, I hate it as much as you do. I don't like the idea of my Alpha being submissive to anyone or mating with anyone I don't approve of, but sometimes, things happen because they happen. If Aria has chosen Aro, if Cassidy has chosen Caius and if Mara has chosen Marcus, then so be it."

"It's exactly because you don't know what they're like that you should be concerned!" Nicholas spat. "They're cruel! For decades, centuries even, they have been cruel. Did you know they've broken up families? Covens? They've killed hundreds of thousands? They have created laws and rules that we must obey by? They hunger for gifts, for power. Those Kings are nothing but blood thirsty demons."

"But they are here and they want another chance with the girls. Had they truly been blood thirsty demons who want nothing but power, couldn't they just kidnap the girls?" Tate asked.

"They need the girls to willingly come. Force wouldn't get them anywhere." Nicholas responded.

"Ahh, but they could have threatened them couldn't they?" Tate asked, "For harboring such people as us—the shape shifters with the blood of children of the moon in them. Couldn't they of just threatened to kill us? The girls would have agreed to go with them if it is to protect us. Furthermore, even if we weren't of child of the moon heritage, the fact that the Kings sent out notices that specifically said anyone caught with harboring us would be considered revolting against the Volturi. The Volturi could have easily said that if the girls didn't go with them, that they would have and could have killed the Cullens for harboring them—us."

For once, Nicholas had no reason, no explanation. So perhaps, those dumbass kings really did have feelings for them… but still. He hated them. "I still don't like them." He grumbled.

"Now tell me something, do you hate them because of who they were in the past or do you hate them because that they hurt Aria, Cassidy and Mara?" Tate asked him.

"I will not lie to you, I hated them before I even meet Aria, but when that happened to the girls, it just made me hate them even more." Nicholas replied.

"But then that means that part of your hate for them stems off your previous hate for them. Is it possible that your hate for them is making you think of them worse than they are?"

Nicholas snapped, absolutely snapped. "Look here, wolf. I don't think you know them like I do. They're cruel." He said hotly. "And you know what? It doesn't matter where my hate comes from, all I know is, they're bad."

"But if your hate for them is getting in the way of Aria's, Cassidy's or Mara's future happiness, then you should not be around them." Tate replied.

"I understand." Nicholas sighed resignedly. "But still, all that hate, it's hard. I don't want to part with the girls or the coven."

"I'm not telling you to accept Aro Volturi, Caius Volturi or Marcus Volturi. All I am telling you to just accept that the girls could perhaps love and accept these men. You should not deny someone of happiness simply because you hate. Actually, I'm not asking you to do anything besides stand by the girls and accept their choices and decisions. If they ask for our opinions, then give it." Tate explained, "Here take it from my perspective. Those vampire kings, particularly Caius, know that we're mixed blood. That I'm part child of the moon and from what I know, they hate me for what is in me. And yet, they are putting aside their differences for the girls. If they can do that, then you should be able to do that too."

"But still—" Nicholas piped up again in protest.

"Still what?" Tate said exasperated. "Even if you don't accept it now, you will have to accept it later."

"Accept what?" Aria asked from upstairs. She had come out of the room as she looked down the set of stairs.

"Nothing." Tate called innocently, a smile on his face. "We were talking about the differences in our diet. Apparently, Nicholas, here can't accept my diet tastes—meat. Human food. He thinks blood is the best but that's a given since he's a vampire."

"Nicholas." Aria frowned, "Tate's just as much coven member as you are. You can't say that his diet isn't as good as yours. I mean, his tastes in blood, I don't think, is your favorite either."

Nicholas opened his mouth in protest. "What! I—no!" he stuttered, "I didn't insult him."

Tate put on a fake mask of hurt, "But you just told me that you couldn't accept that I ate human food." He protested.

"I—I didn't!" Nicholas glared, "Couldn't you have said something else?" he whispered more quietly, so only Tate could hear.

"No." Tate give an amused smiled, fast enough for only Nicholas to see before his face turned to a mask of shock and hate. "How could you. Lying to Aria now." He shook his head with exasperation as he darted up the stairs to stand by Aria. "Really."

"Anyways, I'm just here to tell you guys to get in the room. Mara's done setting up and Cassidy's bringing up the food right now." Aria replied, her voice getting louder and louder.

"Okay." Nicholas nodded.

"Let's go in first, Aria." Tate nodded, gesturing towards the entranceway of her room.

"Okay." Aria smiled, heading back in the room.

IN ARIA'S ROOM

Aria glanced around the room one more time. The room had changed drastically. Beds had been added to the room. Couches had been added to the room. Now, there were three beds in the room. Three California King Sized beds . How Mara had gotten it to fit, she never knew. Her original bed had been pushed to one side of the wall, all three beds were lined up next to each other, only there was a 3 foot space between each bed. Then came the couches and the seats. They were space in rows of 3 with 4 in each row, resulting in 12 seats. "How the hell had you managed this, Mara?" Ari muttered, utterly amazed.

"Magic." Mara smiled. Normally, it probably would have taken her at least an hour to organize and move everything but her movers were vampires. Fast and efficient. Thank god for vampires.

"Okay, move it! Move it!" Cassie shouted as she carried in a crock pot of who-knew-what. She placed it on the table pushed up on one side of the room. One long, big table. She placed it on the table with the other foods as she smiled. "Great! So when does this movie start?"

"Almost soon!" Mara smiled.

"Great and seats?" Ari asked as Mara nodded and pulled out a piece of paper.

"Hmmm. Yeah. Okay, so the couches are for everyone. Ideally, it's for the couples or whoever else wants to sit together. I have 12 couches, which seats 24 people. Carlisle and Esme. Jasper and Alice. Emmett and Rose. Aki and Eri. Edward and Bella. Renesmee and Jake. Alec and Jane. Luna and Loki. Yale and Brecken. Felix and Demetri. Tate and Nicholas. And Adam gets a whole seat to himself."

"Yesss!" Adam fist pumped.

"Wait… so where do I sit?"

"Because I'm afraid we'll fall asleep, I've given us the beds." Mara replied.

"And where do we sit?" Caius asked.

"Aro with Aria. Caius with Cassie. And Marcus with me." Mara said at long last as a chilling air settled in the room.

"WHAT?!" Cassie roared as all eyes swiveled to look at them—Mara, Cassie and Ari.

'What was Mara thinking?' Ari thought.

Leave a review! If my OCs are tooooo mary-sue for you, I apologize. If the original twilight cast/crew were way too OOC for you, for that I apologize too. Random fact: Did you know it's been ALMOST one year since I posted that little one-shot (that's now developed into this XX-chapter long story?)? I think this calls for a celebration and an extra update on that day that marks a year. ^_^ Anyways, I hope everyone has a great week and see y'all next week.
