Suitor of chaos – Loki

"I miss the Underworld." I sighed. "There's too much light here."

"Oi freak! Stop mumbling to yourself! And get rid of those contacts, you're not a bloody vampire!" a guy shouted at me, making me jump.

"I'm part vampire." I said quietly as tears pricked my eyes. I made the ground beneath him soften a little and his foot sunk into the earth, getting stuck. He began shouting obscenities at me as I carried on walking away.

"Everyone here's fucking rude." I muttered, jumping a little as my brother appeared beside me. "What do you want Nico?"

"Do I need a reason to visit my favourite sister?"

"I'm your only sister now." I deadpanned; wiping the smirk from his face and watching him cringe.

"Thanks for that sis." He mumbled. "Anyway, I was going to ask if you were aware that you're being watched by a man." I looked at him weirdly and he shrugged before indicating to the right of me discretely with his head. I glanced back to see a man wearing what looked like Asgardian God clothing, noticing he was trailing behind Nico and I.

"Guess you're right for once." I remarked, flashing some fang at my brother as I smirked at him.

"Yeah? According to dad I'm right all the time." He smirked. I hissed and swiped at him, only just catching his shoulder before he shadow travelled to my other side.

"And according to mother you're the annoying brat. Remember who's older Nico."

"You may be older, but you're the more moody one." He muttered. I grabbed the lapels of his jacket and held tight so he couldn't move away. "Damn, you're as bad a Banner sometimes."

"Careful dear brother, wouldn't want a couple holes to appear in your jugular; would we?" I smiled sadistically as my fangs protruded over my bottom lip. Something clicked in the back of my mind and I released my brother as I whirled around, running to stand in front of the man that had been watching me. "Loki?" A smile touched the man's lips as he looked down at me.

"It took you a while Muerte. You used to be so sharp when we were younger." His voice had become deeper with a smooth feel to it since the last time I saw him which was years ago now.

"You've changed, I hardly recognised you. It's been years Loki." I said softly. "I've missed you." I admitted, looking down at my feet. I was pulled into a hug and buried my face into his chest, feeling the coolness of his armour on my cheek.

"Come back to Asgard with me, I will treat you how you deserve to be treated my queen."

"Q-queen?" I stammered a little and felt Loki's arms tighten around my waist as I looked up at him again. I realised my brother was still standing where I'd left him and cracked open the ground where he stood, sending him back down to the Underworld before closing the Earth back up. I noticed Loki looking at the space where Nico used to be standing before he chuckled, turning his gaze back to me.

"Yes Hadesson, as my queen. There was always something that drew me to you, even when we were younger, which definitely spiked my interest. You have darkness in you, not just from being born of the Underworld; but something more. Something that links you with me, as if we had been destined."

"I admit, I can be a little sadistic at times." I shrugged, making a smile touch his lips.

"That would be an understatement, but it is one of the things that appeals to me. Come back to Asgard?"

"Only for you." I smiled.
