Fifty-Two: Patronus and Animagus
It had been a few days and Harry was still feeling the pain, from his run in with the Dementors. He knew the Slytherins were having fun with the idea of him falling off his broom. This led him to be outside with Hermione, all their friends were somewhere else as Harry hadn't been the best of people to be around.
"I feel like such a failure." Harry told her.
"Harry, you were attacked by being that are known to suck the souls out of their intended victims." Hermione said.
"I know, Dad told me it was illogical to be disappointed." Harry said with a smile, he had been angry, and he had seen his Father angry before, but this time, he was the one that took down the Secretary for Fudge. It had surprised them all.
"The broom is not the only issue?"
"No, I heard… I heard how my biological mother died." Harry said. Hermione just grabbed his hand, because she even understood that there was nothing, she could say to make it better, as it was a fact.
"We need to find a way to defend yourself if they come to attack once more." Hermione said.
"I need to get a broom."
"Protection first and we will worry about the broom later."

Joan was sitting down on her chair typing up their last case, but her mind was not too much in the case, she kept seeing Harry falling off the broom, she had panicked before reacting. She knew it was for the best that Sherlock was the one to react as she didn't know what to say, as her focus was Harry being safe. Her daughter's visions were getting stronger and her youngest son was going to be stronger in the mind than his Father. In all her time she didn't believe this would happen to her. She felt something, or someone touch her knee and saw Gladstone standing on his hind legs and starring at her with soulful eyes.
"Do you want to go for a walk boy?" she asked getting up to get the leash. She knew that she wouldn't be able to write anymore.
As she walked outside with Gladstone, she didn't notice the eyes on her, Lucas on the other side, knew that he couldn't speak with her. He just wanted to make sure that she was safe, he walked normally behind her, he looked at her left hand to see the rings, he knew that he shouldn't feel upset. He had wanted her to be happy, so he left her. There was a darker reason, his Father had joined Voldemort on his campaign and Joan had been sent to be murdered, he had no option. There had been a part of him that wanted to tell her, that he was alive but knew that she would kill him, in her anger.
He was able to find out about her life, he wasn't a spy for no reason. Three children and the wife of a Detective. He knew that she had gone back to the Wizarding World, that is the reason he knew she was in danger once more. He had protected her once and he was going to do so again. He wasn't really paying attention, as he didn't notice that Joan had stopped, and he smacked into her shoulder. Lucas tried not to freak out.
"Sorry." They both said, and he moved away.
Joan looked at the man leaving, and she swore that he seamed familiar to her. She was about to say something, when her phone rang.
"Hello." She said.
"Joan, we have a case." Sherlock told her.
"I'll get home." Joan said.

Harry was in the office with Professor Lupin and Hermione was with him.
"What is exactly you want to learn?" Remus asked.
"We know that you were able to defend yourself from the dementors, what spell was it and is it something I can learn?" Harry asked.
"The spell I used only took one, the spell is incredibly difficult to learn." Remus told them.
"I am willing to learn, those Dementors will not leave us alone. They haven't fed, my Papa informed me the way they work, and I know Uncle Sirius is not to fond of them either."
"We are going to have to wait for after the Holidays." Remus told him.
"Okay, we are going home my parents don't want any of us staying here with the traitor and Bellatrix out." Harry told him.
"I know unfortunately, Sirius and I will be going out somewhere else this year." Remus said, and he pretended not to notice the look that Hermione and Harry threw at each other.
"Okay." Harry said.

When they came out of the meeting with Professor Lupin, Hermione and Harry walked together talking about the Holiday coming up.
"Your Grandma invited my parents already to the Holidays." Hermione said.
"I had a feeling that she would as they want to keep everyone together, I'm just glad you will be a bit safer with us." He said holding her hand. Hermione blushed as they stood together.
"I was actually going to ask you something else?" Harry said.
"What is it Harry?"
"Well I know we will go to Hogsmeade as we have a trip and I wanted to know..."
"Psst, Harry." They both looked to the side to see a flash of red hair.
"Hermione...psst." they both walked to see Fred and George standing there with identical smiles.
"How can we help you?" Harry asked a bit upset that he had been interrupted.
"Yes. Don't be upset Harry is not like you were going to do something." Fred said with a smile recognizing the blush.
"We actually have to study, so can we do this another time?" Hermione asked.
"No, Fred and I have been thinking and with all the trouble you have been getting into we decided this would be useful for you." George said holding out a parchment.
"A parchment?" Harry said with a raised brow.
"Oh Harry, you of so little faith, this is more than a parchment." Fred said.
"How did you get the parchment?" Hermione asked.
"Well fair Hermione, we got it on our fist year of Hogwarts and it opens doors..."
"What do you mean opens doors?"
"You just have to promise to use it wisely." Fred said.
"Fine, I promise." Harry said.
"Have fun on your date with Hermione." George said with a smile as they walked away with the parchment in Hermione's hands.

"Why wasn't I given this, I'm their brother?" Ron asked.
"Well technically this belongs to Harry." Hermione said.
"What do you mean Hermione?" Neville asked.
"Well Dr. Watson often spoke and got funny stories out of Sirius and one of them was the nicknames that Harry's Father had." Hermione said. Harry looked at the parchment and wasn't showing them as he was looking toward the library. He had to wonder, why Meloni was doing there with Draco Malfoy.
Meloni was studying there with Draco next to her, she wasn't sure how it had begun but she had been spending more time with him.
"Have you told your cousin, you have been studying with me?" Draco asked.
"Why would Harry need to know?"
"Even I know that Harry is overprotective of you." Draco told her.
"Well is not like I'm doing something wrong, we are just studying." Meloni said with a smile.
"If you say so." Draco said with a smile.

Harry arrived at Baker Street and he was swarmed by his siblings and a very excited Gladstone.
"Is good to have you home, Harry." Nicholas said.
"Is good to be home, how is the mind reading going?" Harry asked knowing his little brother was a little self-conscious about his ability with the mind.
"It's going well, I can almost hear Uncle Mycroft."
"Great." Harry said with a smile. "Mum."
"Harry." She said kissing his forehead, if Harry stayed in her arms a bit more than usual no one mentioned anything.
"Harry." Sherlock told him.
"Papa?" Harry said.
"Your Mother and I have been talking, we have come to the conclusion that you will be learning something new." Sherlock said.
"Let him, put his stuff away Sherlock." Joan said.

"You want me to learn, what?" Harry asked.
"We want you to learn to become an Animagus, it will be a strong spell, but you are a Holmes." Sherlock told him.
"Really, I get to learn..." Harry had to admit he was excited. He wanted to learn the spell to defend himself from the Dementor's but to learn to become an Animagus. He knew his mother was one, his father was one. Many of his family were Animagus, they had learned the ability, he knew his parents had learned it together.
"Are you ready?" Sherlock asked.
"Yes."
