Rozen: whoooo here we go with the next one!
Broken Pieces
Everything was going wrong. None of it made sense anymore. I was supposed to be his guardian, but I failed him. Every night he would walk around town in frustration and would kick the dirt under his feet. Getting into fights with whoever looked at him. I didn't think it would get this bad, and I really wanted to help him. The rules wouldn't let me though.
"You can't show yourself Matthew. It's against tradition."
"I know it is but he's close to the end and I don't want to lose him."
"I'm sorry but rules are rules and they must be followed."
All I could do was watch and try to give him signs that things would be alright, but nothing was working. Then it happened. He was going to end it all and I didn't care if it's against tradition. He took sleeping pills and when his eyes closed, I entered inside him. He was kneeling on the floor, a broken clock that was in pieces were in front of him. I kneeled in front of him and picked up the pieces.
"Let's try to fix this."
We spent a while putting it all back together and when we were done he smiled as it ticked on.
"It's fixed and back to life. I thought it was the end for it."
He looked at me and I could tell something changed.
"Let's bring you back now."
I stood up and next thing you know, he's waking up and full of life again. He was looking around until he found the clock. He grabbed it and held it close to him. I loved seeing him smile like that.
Rozen: A little vague feeling but, yeah. Next one is...In the Rain
