Daddy Daughter Date
"You're really going to ask her?" Dean smiled, walking into AJ and Punk's house with him the next day. Punk was getting some clean clothes for AJ and also for baby Frankie. He also had to remember to bring the car seat too as it seemed likely they would be getting discharged within the next day or two.
"Yeah, man." Punk smiled and nodded, "It's gonna be real fucking cute. Keala is gonna help me." He said.
"Wait, you're doing it soon?" Dean asked, walking through to the kitchen with him.
"Yeah, I've been thinking about it for a while." Punk said, "And we've talked about it, we've always just delayed it I guess." He said, "I'm gonna do it when her and Frankie come home. Get the kids to bed. Make it nice." Punk nodded.
"You make me sick." Dean shook his head as Punk turned to him, "All these… babies have gone to your head." He said, grabbing an apple from the fruit basket as Punk rolled his eyes.
"Shut up. I'm asking my girlfriend to marry me. It's gotta be good. I can't just hit out with it mid conversation." Punk said, "Keala is gonna help me with the ring later on." He said.
"You're letting a five year old pick out a ring? She'll either go for the priciest one or the ugliest." Dean scoffed.
"She has better taste than me." Punk laughed.
"Dad still not been to visit?" Dean asked him as Punk shook his head.
"No, I think he's avoiding AJ. I could see he felt guilty for telling me about her mom but… AJ doesn't blame him. He just wanted to tell me so it wasn't like he was keeping anything from me. He doesn't need to be afraid." Punk shook his head.
"I don't think it's you he's afraid of." Dean admitted, "He probably thinks AJ will hate him."
"Well she doesn't. He's a grown ass man." Punk said, "I'm just glad her mom isn't around for me to scream at her." Punk rolled his eyes as Dean nodded in agreement.
"How could you do that to your kid? I mean… I know she wasn't exactly mentally stable but… why would you wanna hurt your kid like that?" Dean asked.
"I don't know." Punk shook his head, "It's not like we'll understand. No point in trying to." He said, "Ok, I need to get AJ some clean clothes. Can you unbox the car seat for Frankie?"
"Yeah, sure." Dean nodded, following him out of the kitchen and heading upstairs, "You going for the ring after you get Keala from school?"
"Yeah, that's the plan. I promised her a pizza too if she helped me so I'm taken all night." He said as Dean nodded, reaching the top of the stairs as they both paused, "That's… a lot of blood." Punk gulped, looking at the blood stained into the carpet trailing into their bedroom as Dean looked on.
"I feel queasy." Dean admitted as Punk rolled his eyes.
"You can help me clean it." Punk said.
"Um, excuse me." Dean laughed.
"Go on, get the bleach from the toilet and I'll get some brushes." He said.
"I'm not touching no one else's blood." Dean put his hands up.
"Oh, shut up stop being a baby." Punk tutted, shoving him over to the bathroom, "Get the bleach." He said as Dean groaned like a kid.
After Punk spent some time at the hospital with AJ and his son, dropping off clothes for them both and also the car seat, he then left to go pick Keala up from school and take her to look at rings.
Dean was right, she was going for all the super pricey rings but they eventually both agreed on one which they both thought would suit AJ best. Keala loved it because it was sparkly, Punk liked it because it was the first one he could actually imagine AJ wearing.
They then went for pizza in Gino's restaurant and after Keala looking at the kid's menu for what felt like years, she finally picked something.
"Let me see it again." Keala asked, sitting across from Punk in the booth as she sipped on her drink, resting her elbows on the table and swinging her legs back and forth.
"Here." Punk said, taking the box out of the bag and sliding it across to her, "Careful with it." He said wearily as she opened up the box and smiled at it.
"It's so shiny you should buy me one too. Or some earrings." She nodded as Punk scoffed.
"You don't have your ears pierced." Punk shook his head, taking the box back and closing it over carefully.
"Yeah I do." Keala looked at him as he stared across at her closely, watching her tuck her hair behind her ears as he noticed she did have her ears pierced.
"When did that happen?" Punk shook his head.
"Mommy took me one day. The lady told me it might be sore but I didn't even cry once. And mommy said you had your ears and your lip and your tongue all pierced." Keala said, "And I want that too-"
"No, you don't really." Punk shook his head, "Ears are fine. Don't go beyond that." Punk advised.
"You did." Keala said.
"I'm stupid though." Punk told her as Keala nodded in agreement.
"Mommy said she pierced your ear. Did she?" Keala asked, raising her neck and slurping on her drink. Whenever they had these father daughter dates, Punk felt like he was being questioned by the police, and he loved it.
"She did." Punk said, "And she wasn't gentle either." Punk said.
"Hold still." AJ yanked Punk by the head in their apartment, sitting in their bed holding a needle and a cube of ice, "This is your own fault for letting it close up." She said. They'd not long moved into the apartment. AJ and Dean were still at school and Punk was working to support the apartment. It had been great, especially when they got so much alone time.
"You're gonna rip my ear off." Punk whined, sitting crossed legged in the messy bed whilst AJ knelt beside him, wearing one of his t-shirts, trying her best to re-pierce his ear, trying to numb it with the ice from behind.
"Well I'm not a professional piercer. Why didn't you just go to a shop?" She asked him.
"Because I don't wanna pay the money." Punk told her.
"You're literally the worst." She shook her head.
"Am I?" Punk asked.
"Yes." AJ answered, "Ok, you really want me to just pierce it through?" She cringed.
"Well yes AJ, that's what they do in the piercing places." Punk said as AJ nipped him on his bare arm, "Just put it in."
"That's my line." AJ smirked as Punk rolled his eyes, "Ok, I'll just pierce it through, put the earring in and then… pull it out?" She asked.
"Yes, do that." Punk shook his head.
"Stop shaking your head." AJ warned, "Let me concentrate."
"I'll count you in, ok?" Punk said.
"Ok." AJ nodded.
"3." Punk said, "2." He counted as AJ lined the needle up carefully, "1." He said, wondering if he was going to feel a needle through his mouth given how unsteady AJ's hand was, thankfully feeling the needle go through his ear as she pushed the earring through and removed the needle.
"Look at that." AJ smiled, proud of herself, using a wipe to clean his ear which bled a little, "Maybe I should reconsider my career choice." She nodded.
"You've been trying to do this for almost two hours." Punk said, "Just stick with the attorney thing." He said as AJ just made a face, placing the needle over and throwing the cube of ice at him, "That's cold." Punk groaned, grabbing her around the waist and pulling her on top of him as she laughed.
"Watch your ear." AJ laughed to herself, collapsing back on the bed with him, straddling his hips and placing her hands on his chest, "I think you secretly like pain." She smirked, slowly grinding herself on his mid-section as he smiled.
"Do I?" Punk asked her.
"I think you do." She smiled, "It's like your kink."
"Pain?" Punk laughed.
"Yeah." AJ nodded.
"Please don't think that. I don't want you hurting me because you think I like it." He said seriously as AJ laughed to herself.
"I wouldn't hurt you." AJ whispered with a smile.
"You know what my kink is." Punk said.
"I do." AJ smirked, stripping his t-shirt from her naked body, throwing it over onto the floor and leaning forward, pressing a kiss on his lips as she kissed back deeply, running his hands up her body and cupping her breasts as she smiled against the kiss, placing her hand down between her legs and massaging her clit as he looked down.
"This is much better than the videos you send me." Punk nodded as she smiled, playing with herself whilst straddling his hips, making sure he got a good enough view as he watched intently with a smirk.
"You really didn't cry?" Punk asked Keala who shook her head.
"No." Keala said, "I was a brave girl." She nodded, "So are you going to buy me some earrings then?" She asked him.
"Not at those prices I'm not." Punk told her, "We'll see." He hummed as she smiled, "You excited for mommy and Frankie to come home?" He asked her as she nodded.
"Yeah, I wanna see them. Frankie can't keep me away though because I have school in the morning and that's not fair." Keala said.
"Well… I can't promise anything." Punk said, "He might be a little unpredictable but… he doesn't mean it." Punk assured her.
"Well me and him will just have to talk about it." Keala said as Punk laughed a little and nodded.
"I guess you will." He smiled, "You know you were a good help to mommy when she was about to have the baby. She said you waited downstairs for the ambulance people." Punk said as Keala nodded.
"She told me to." Keala said.
"Well that's good." Punk nodded, "You know if me or mommy… if you're scared we're not acting the same, you call 911, right?"
"Yes they tell us that at school, daddy." Keala said, "If mommy or daddy gets hurt we call that number." She said, "You think I'm an idiot." She laughed as Punk raised a brow.
"No, I don't-"
"It's ok, daddy. I forgive you." Keala nodded, "As long as you let me have a bit of your pizza." She smirked.
"You don't like the stuff on my pizza. You try it every time and spit it out." He said.
"Well I'll try again." Keala shrugged, "And if I have room for dessert I'll have that too please." She said as Punk nodded.
"I suppose you will." Punk nodded as Gino, the restaurant owner approached them with the pizzas. Punk, AJ and Dean had been going to the restaurant for years and knew him well.
"Alright, extra pepperoni for the lady." Gino smiled, sitting down Keala's smaller pizza.
"Thanks Gino." Keala smiled pleasantly.
"And a pizza from the freezer for your dad." Gino teased as Punk nodded and smiled.
"Great." Punk smiled, "Thanks, man." Punk nodded.
"Do you want anything else?" Gino asked them.
"Gino my daddy's asking my mommy to marry him." Keala told the older Italian man as Punk rolled his eyes.
"He is?" Gino smiled, looking to Punk who just nodded, "Well it's about time. How is little Frankie doing?"
"He's good. Home in a few days with AJ." Punk told him. Although they never had much family, they always had support from local people whom they'd grown to know since they were kids and teens.
"Good." Gino smiled, "Well congrats on everything. Making me feel real old." He said as Punk smiled, "Enjoy the pizza."
"Thanks." Punk nodded, watching him walk away as Keala tried to cut a slice of her pizza up, looking like she was about to saw through the plate, "Ok, alright… let me do it." Punk shook his head, sliding her pizza over and cutting it up into slices for her, eventually doing the same with his and picking up a slice, "Hey, cheers." He extended his pizza slice over as she took her smaller one and hit it against his.
"Cheers." Keala said, digging into the pizza as he smiled watching her. He spent so many years thinking the only girl he'd have space for in his heart was AJ, the only girl he would enjoy pizza dates with and laugh with, but little did he know there was an entire space waiting for his daughter.
A/N: Let me know what you think!
