Author's Note: Prepare for a bit of one, I've got some responses!

So, backtracking, I actually had a lot of fun writing all the journal entries. I knew that Xigbar and Saix's journals were going to be the most informative, but I did have a lot of fun writing all the entries from the lower members that were just plain funny and I'm glad you liked them too!

So that sleight is actually Sonic Blade, I used it a TON in CoM.

So, with Xemnas' journal not actually having good information... that's just me saying not everything gets to be butterflies and rainbows.

Cloud's got a bit with Sephiroth yet. You'll see. Plus, he's got Hades to deal with too, now. But yeah, everyone's super glad Sephiroth showed up and dealt with the Remnant.

Leon being a protective older brother is the best thing ever.

Yeah, that's basically exactly what Zack's up to.

Riku's seen way too much of Xehanort for anything to really stack up.

The KH characters will have their own happy take on Frozen, I promise.

And without further ado... more chapter!

Arendelle: Roxas

"Whoa," Anna breathed. "What is that?"

They had gotten up over a hill and could see a gigantic ice castle at the top of the mountain.

"Did Elsa make that?" she breathed. "How do we even get up there?"

Anna asked questions faster than Roxas could process them. At first he thought it was a girl thing, because Kairi and Namine kept up, but sometimes they couldn't even keep up with Anna.

Though, Kairi and Namine were also super hung up on the fact that Anna and Hans had gotten engaged the same day they met. Namine seemed to have something personal against Hans, but Roxas couldn't see it.

Though, it was Namine and she was probably right. But Roxas wasn't just going to go with her immediately.

They'd also asked if Anna had ever seen a Heartless before. She hadn't. She said it could be because she hadn't left her castle in years, but also probably likely that there just weren't Heartless around. Kairi was pretty convinced of the World's brightness. Which was a good thing.

Though (and maybe this was just really old Organization training talking) if there weren't any Heartless here, then what was the trouble that brought them here?

"Hey," Kairi said, pointing to a little building on the edge of the forest. "There's a shop of sorts. Maybe they'll know how to get up there."

"Great idea!" Anna said, hurrying in that direction.

The other three followed. Roxas wished he knew what Kairi and Namine were saying inside of their heads, because likely they were holding a huge conversation. It wasn't as bad when other people were around, but it just felt weird that he knew they were talking and had no idea what it was they were saying. And poor Anna didn't even know what was going on.

Outside of the shop was an impatient reindeer. It shifted back and forth and gave off the impression that it could talk if Roxas asked it a question.

Not that Roxas was going to ask it a question.

They stepped inside a good few seconds after Anna did. She was arguing, not with the shopkeeper, but with one of the other visitors—a man half-covered in snow. They were arguing about carrots. The shopkeeper's eyes bounced back and forth as they argued.

"How did she get into an argument so quickly?" Roxas whispered.

"Beats me," Kairi responded.

"You can't just come in here and expect to rob this poor man of his livelihood!" Anna said.

"It's just a bunch of carrots! I'm hungry! Sven is hungry! Ordinarily, I'd pay. But my livelihood is selling ice! And a fat load of good that's doing me because the whole place is frozen!"

"And it's doing me no better either!" the shopkeeper said. "I'm trying to sell summer gear and I can't because of the snow."

The other visitor growled and stormed out.

"We were just trying to see if you knew how to get up the mountain," Kairi said, effectively changing the subject.

"I can't help you," the man said sadly. "My winter gear is in short stock."

There was a cumulative sigh.

"You know," Roxas said. "That guy had a reindeer. And he says he sells ice for a living. I bet he might know his way around."

Anna frowned. "I think I made him angry."

Kairi walked over to the counter where the argued-over bunch of carrots lay.

"Maybe a peace offering would help?" she suggested.

Anna bit her lip. "Yes, maybe that would do the trick." She pulled out her coin purse and deposited a sum of munny on the counter. The shopkeeper happily gave her the carrots and Anna headed out.

"Anything else I can help you with?" the shopkeeper asked.

Roxas exchanged looks with Kairi and Namine.

"No, I think we're good," Namine said.

They followed Anna out.

"You just expect me to help you out after you've now yelled at me and tried to boss me around?"

Why were they yelling again?

"If you help me out, you'll be helping bring an end to this freeze."

"Oh, really?"

"All I'm asking is that you help me get up North Mountain so I can talk to my sister. She's the one who caused this, she can stop it."

"Whoa, now, wait just a second. Your sister did this? And what do you expect to do when you see her to make her stop?"

"Talk to her," Anna said. "Something! I've got to try something! It's better than anything else anyone else is doing. Some people said she should be locked up…"

"Well if she caused winter in the middle of summer, maybe she should!"

For several moments, there was complete silence. Roxas didn't even dare look around. He kept his gaze frozen on the two arguing. He couldn't see Anna's face clearly, but the man looked instantly regretful.

"I'm sorry," the man said. "That was uncalled for. I don't know enough about the situation and I was wrong to say that."

"Well… good…" Anna said. Her voice cracked a little.

The man looked at the other three. "Though, doesn't this whole situation sound a little crazy to you?"

"Honestly," Roxas said. "I've seen worse."

The man gaped for a second. (So did his reindeer, actually.) Then he composed himself. "Okay, you'll give me the carrots, I help you get up North Mountain, you tell your sister to knock off the winter and I can get back to my business?"

Anna shrugged. "Sure. Though, if this works, I could probably compensate you with more, I am the princess…"

The man gaped again. "You're the princess?! Which means that your sister… your sister is the queen. The queen did all of this?" he gestured to everything around him.

Anna looked sheepish. "Yeah. I didn't even know she could do this sort of thing. Not until recently anyway. But enough about my childhood. We have the kingdom to save now. And, more importantly, my sister."

"Let's go," the man said. "My sled's over there. Just knock the ice off. I'll be able to get more later, I'm sure."

Anna marched off. After a shared glance that likely included part of an internal conversation, Kairi and Namine went too.

"What did I just get myself into?" the man whispered.

"Sometimes I ask myself the same question," Roxas sympathized.

xx

The man's name was Kristoff. The reindeer was Sven. They were all either one of them had, really, as far as friends went. And they really did sell ice for a living.

Kristoff was in agreement about the whole not marrying a guy Anna just met thing. This made Kairi and Namine really happy. Roxas wondered why they were still talking about it. Did it really matter that much?

Kristoff also asked weird questions about Hans, expecting Anna to know the answers, because if she was going to marry him, she should know the answers.

"Hey, what did your friends say about my sister when they told you about finding her?" Anna asked suddenly, turning around in her seat so she could talk to the others.

Namine closed her eyes for a second, thinking. Roxas half wondered if she was trying to force seeing something. Actually, she was probably just skimming through Riku or Sora's recent memories for the sake of answering the question. Or… maybe she wasn't. Namine had weird rules about what she allowed herself to do or not.

"They found her and convinced her to let them help her control her powers," Namine answered, opening her eyes again.

Anna grinned. "Oh! That's great!" She turned back around to Kristoff and punched him lightly on the shoulder. "See? Good news! Elsa'll turn this all right back around and it'll be fine."

"That's unusually nice of your friends," Kristoff said. The statement was directed at the three in the backseat, though he didn't turn around to look at them, being too busy steering the sled.

"It was probably Sora's idea," Kairi said. "He usually does stuff like that. But, that's why I love him."

"He your boyfriend or something?" Kristoff asked.

Kairi's face turned about as red as her hair. "Yeah," she said sheepishly.

"How long have you known him?" he continued.

"Since we were kids."

Kristoff elbowed Anna. "See? That's how it's supposed to be done."

Anna sighed.

Something howled.

"What was that?" Anna asked, looking around.

"Wolves!" Kristoff hissed. "Should've waited until we had more daylight…"

Roxas looked around and saw several pairs of eyes blinking out at them through the trees. He summoned his Keyblade.

"Keep the sled moving, we'll take care of it," he said, bracing himself.

Kairi summoned her blade as well.

"No offense," Namine said. "I think I'm going to sit this one out."

"Fair enough," Kairi said.

"Fire Raid," Roxas said.

"Got it," Kairi said.

"What's going on back there?" Kristoff asked.

"Just keep the sled moving!" Roxas commanded.

"They've got these really cool blades…" Anna began.

A wolf bounded out from behind the trees. As it came out on Kairi's side, he let her take care of it.

Two more came out in his side. He tossed his Keyblade, letting it light fire as it went. It got one of the wolves on the nose and the other one on the leg. Then his Keyblade came spiraling back to him. He caught it and prepped it for another throw. Kairi was doing likewise.

Only a few more wolves bothered trying to attack them after the first few got hit with flaming Keyblades. They backed off after that. Roxas kept his Keyblade out, but Kairi banished hers.

"Wow!" Anna exclaimed. "No wonder you don't think it's weird that my sister caused winter to show up again."

Kristoff snorted.

"You don't even know the half of it," Roxas said. Though, he found himself smirking a little bit.

"I dunno," Kairi said. "I would say the Keyblade is responsible for more than half of our stories."

"Well yeah," Roxas said, rolling his eyes. He wouldn't exist if it wasn't for the darn things. "But her just seeing our blades doesn't answer half of our life stories'."

"Ah, true."

The rest of the trip up the mountain was uneventful. Roxas even banished his Keyblade at some point. They approached the giant ice castle and all got out of the sled. Kristoff handed Sven a carrot.

"Stay with the sled, buddy."

The five of them made their way up the staircase (also made of ice.)

"Hello! My name is Olaf and I like warm hugs!"

Anna and Kristoff both jumped. Roxas just looked around for the source of the voice.

It was a snowman that came up about to their chests. However, it was missing a nose. Roxas looked back at Sven to see if he still had the carrot. He didn't.

"Uh, guys, that's a talking snowman," Kristoff said. He looked a little spooked.

Roxas shrugged. "Still seen weirder."

Anna was somewhat gaping at the snowman. "Olaf?" she asked, as if the name meant something to her.

Namine frowned.

"What is it?" Kairi hissed. Roxas knew it was for his benefit.

"Something about her memories," Namine muttered. "I can't put my finger on it…"

Anna shook her head to clear it and then looked up to the door. Kristoff pulled a carrot out of his pocket and put it on Olaf's face.

"Oh! For me! Thank you!" the snowman said.

"What are you waiting for?" Kairi nudged. For Anna was sort of just standing there, staring at the door.

"All my life, I have been looking at closed doors from Elsa," Anna said, sounding a little sad. "Here we go again."

She knocked. "Hey Elsa, I see you built a snowman!"

The door opened.

Anna stood back in shock. "That's… that's never happened before!"
