Well well well. If it isn't me. If I am not back (did i word that right?)

anyways, guys I've been inactive for soo long!

Suppose I should fill you in. I have not forgotten this story. On the contrary, Reshiramgirl88 and I have been writing this entire time.

I just haven't been uploading because its such a hassle (aka i'm just really lazy)

I'll post a couple chapters today, but as these chapters are very close to the eNding, and we haven't quite finished our revisions on that, I won't post a lot in the event that we change something later. So for now, enjoy!

Hilda's POV

Through the blinding light, I could see two figures approaching me. I didn't know what to expect; no one had come inside for a long time. Did this mean they'd found N?

I felt my throat run dry. Was this it for me, for N, for everyone?

I squinted my eyes to see who was coming my way. Neither of the men wore Plasma or Rocket Uniforms, nor did they look like any of the grunts or admins I'd seen before. One of them wore a trenchcoat, and the other wore a black shirt, purple jeans, and tan spiky hair.

My heart raced as I called out weakly, "Looker? Blue?"

Blue's POV

I ran over, untying the bands around Hilda's wrists and ankles. "Are you alright?"

She nodded faintly. "Where's N?"

I frowned. "Hilda, we'll find him. But what matters now is that we get you back to the others. You aren't looking well."

She shook her head fiercely. "They're bringing N here. I'm going to wait here until they've found him. Then we'll leave."

"Hilda…" Looker frowned. "I warned you before about going after N. Ghetsis has become a more powerful force. He's ready to kill, and he knows your weakness. He knows you love N. So I'm certain he'll use N to destroy you. You need to recover. Let someone else worry about N."

"I'm sorry Looker, but I can't. I-"

Hilda was interrupted by an Xtransceiver call. Seeing N's face on the screen, Hilda quickly accepted the call.

"N!" Hilda cried, before turning her expression into a confused one. "Rood?"

"Hilda. Good to see you." A man in robes nodded at her. "I believe you must be worried, perhaps confused. I'd like you to know our king, N, is in good hands. Do you have time to talk?"

"I guess so," she responded uncertainly.

"Good. See, since you stopped Ghetsis for a second time, Unova returned to peace again. But recently I've seen grunts of neoplasma around, and I've seen disturbances around. I figured Ghetsis still hadn't given up.

So, I traveled across Unova, and found nothing in particular that proved Ghetsis was still in action. I sent some of my loyal men abroad, and was surprised when a couple of them found N in Kanto. He looked worse than I'd ever seen him; his face pale, his frame thinner than ever. We took him here, and we've been trying to nurse him back to health.

But now we come to the reason I called you. His physical health has improved, but we can't say the same for his mental health. His memory is failing, getting worse and worse. He hardly remembers me, even though I've known him since he was just a boy. Hilda…" the man paused. "Hilda, what's happened to him?"

At this point Hilda was crying. "Ghetsis….Ghetsis did this to him. N, I don't know if he'll ever get better. Rood, Ghetsis is looking for N. Protect him at all costs."

"Understood. I'll keep an eye on him. Let us hope there is some way to recover him."

Lyra's POV

Red answered the call, and we all got in a circle to see what Hilda had to say. I sat away from Silver though. He'd been meaner and meaner to me lately.

Rosa jumped over to Red, looking at her sister. "Hilda! Are you alright?"

"Fine, I guess. I'm with Looker and Bl-" she paused for a moment. "Anyways, I called you guys to tell you not to look for N. You won't find him here. Instead, get Nathanial to Mt. Silver. I need you to bring Layla as well. Layla will teleport us to Unova, and then the rest of you will stay in hiding until you receive my next call. Is that clear?"

"What?" Everyone looked over at Leaf. "Nathanial is not in good enough condition to be moving around. I'm sorry, Hilda, but you'll have to wait until Nathanial feels better."

"Leaf. Listen to me." Hilda's voice was fierce. "Nathanial was created from N. He is a part of N. The reason he's not doing good is the same reason N isn't. They can't survive apart from each other. They need to be united again." Hilda sighed. "Don't worry, Leaf. He'll be okay. Both of them will."

"Well, we'd need Layla here. I don't know where she is," Leaf scoffed.

"I'm here!" Layla cried, running into the clearing with Rosa, Hugh, and Ethan.

Hugh's POV

I gasped as we finally stopped running. A girl with yellow hair walked over and checked my forehead, as well as Rosa's. "Have some water," she said in a voice almost like a whisper. She handed us some water and scurried back to Leaf.

Leaf smiled at her. "Are you trying to be like me?" She asked the girl, who nodded. "I'm proud of you. You're a good girl." Leaf looked over at us. "You two should have some rest. You too, Ethan. Layla, Hilda's on the pokegear." Leaf and the other girl found some berries and handed them to us.

"Eat it. You'll feel better," Leaf said, smiling.

"Thankyou," I said, finding myself at ease again.

Layla's POV

I walked over to Red, seeing Hilda on the pokegear.

"Hilda! you're alright! So Bl-so, uh, whats the plan?" I glanced at Leaf, who wasn't listening to me. Phew.

"You've got to get Nathanial to Mt. Silver. Then I want you to teleport us back to Unova. Got it?" I nodded. "Good." Hilda smiled. "I know your sister would be proud of you."

I couldn't wipe that silly smile off my face.
