The first thing that Stephanie noticed when she got close to home was the extra car outside the house but it was too dark and she was too tired to think about whether she recognised it or not. Pulling in to the drive she turned the engine off not hesitating to get out of the car and hurry inside the house, "Cody I'm home."

She hadn't really needed to tell him that she was home as her best friend practically tackled her the second that the front door closed.

Being in her best friend's arms was exactly what she needed after her day, "I need this."

"I was so worried about you when they called me to say that you were stuck there, I was thinking the worst and if it wasn't for Shawn and Rebecca I would have been in total panic mode."

Fuck, Shawn and Rebecca, she hadn't even thought about them and what they would think about Hunter hearing the news. "I really should text them to let them know that Hunter is okay."

"No need, we're right here."

Tired eyes darted from looking nowhere in particular to looking towards the sound of the voice that had just spoken, as her best friend released her from the hug she practically got tackled again but this time by Rebecca, "Oh my God, when I heard the news on the radio I panicked, I didn't think Mr Hunter had done anything to you but I was worried if something happened to you what he would do to you."

Shawn was the practical one of the three and upon looking at his watch he shook his head at his wife, "Release the poor woman and let her get something to eat and some sleep, you can get all of the details tomorrow as I'm sure she isn't working."

"She is working. They told me I could have a few days off and I politely told them where they could shove their days off because I refuse to be intimidated and be seen as a weak officer just because they're men and don't get how resilient us women are . . . that and I really don't to leave him alone with them in the aftermath as I know they don't believe me when I said that he saved my life so I need to make sure that they know it."

Rebecca took the other woman by the hand and dragged her through to the kitchen, "Your dinner should be ready in a minute so take a seat."

"In a minute? Don't I need to get it out of the freezer first?"

Forcefully pushing the other woman in to the seat she walked over to the counter and poured her a glass of wine taking it back to her, "I have a lasagne in the cooker, well technically I have your portion heating up in the cooker as we ate earlier. I hope you'll like it."

She was enjoying getting waited on tonight and not having to lift a finger. Taking a long sip of wine she placed the glass back on the table, "Thank you, you really didn't have to do all of this for me."

"It's fine, I had was cooking it anyway so I just put the leftovers to good use. What exactly happened tonight? The news wasn't exactly unbiased in their reporting."

Sighing heavily she sat back in the chair preparing herself to relive it all. "There have been problems in the jail for a few weeks, I knew something big was going to go down and I warned people that it would but they didn't take me seriously. I took Master back to his cell once we left Mr Shawn and then I went to leave him but stood outside were six inmates with shanks and they pointed them at me threatening me. It's all a bit of a blur but I know that I reached for my pepper spray and they told me if I tried it I would be stabbed before I could get them all but the next thing I know I'm being yanked back in to Master's cell and he is putting his body between me and the shanks. He spoke to them and they didn't really want me so he made a deal with them that I would stay in his cell with him and leave them alone."

The beep of the cooker interrupted the story so Rebecca quickly went to dish out the food before sliding the plate in front of Stephanie, "So what happened when the two of you were locked alone together."

Unsure if her best friend would be happy to hear all of the details she kept it simple, "We fought briefly because he wanted sex and I was just scared and freaked out but we ended up having a bit of a heart to heart and then we had sex and he made me cum twice, there was going to be a third time if they hadn't released me."

Cody couldn't help but smirk at that, "So that's why you were so defensive when you left the jail."

Smacking at her best friend's arm she rolled her eyes, "Shut up, it had nothing to do with that."

"It had everything to do with that."

There were details that had been left out and Rebecca really wanted to hear them, "Would it be okay if we stayed here tonight please? It's late and I don't want Master to drive after his day."

"Sure. Shawn why don't you help me grab some blankets and pull out the couch please?"

Once the two men left Rebecca turned back to her new friend, "So what really went down in the cell between the two of you?"

"We fought over his guilt about the shanks and when I admitted it hadn't been the first time and wouldn't be the last he wasn't happy but we eventually sorted it out . . . once I admitted to him how much knowing he is there really helps and also after I got topless just to force him to look at me. Things escalated fast once I was topless but it was everything I needed from him. Can I say something to you and you not laugh at me?"

Eagerly nodding her head this is what she wanted for Stephanie, she wanted her to feel like she could open up to her because she wanted to help her. "Of course you can, I will never laugh at you over anything you have to say to me."

"Master said that he will train me to hold off my orgasms and I can't wait, like I am actually more excited for that than anything ever. I can't wait for him to get out of jail so the training can begin."

Shawn had come back to ask Rebecca something but when he heard Stephanie ask about her not laughing at her he stopped and listened. Hearing her talk about the training and how excited she was made him think that she was serious but he did have one question, stepping in to the room he smiled at the woman, "What if he wanted to start the training tomorrow?"

Both women jumped in fright at the sound of the voice, neither expected him to be back soon.

Anxiously chewing on her lip she turned to face Shawn to answer his question. "I don't know what it really entails but sure, if he wants to start it tomorrow then I am up for it. My rota is all over the place and I'm doing days this week and nights next week but as long as we can get time alone he can do whatever he wants to me."

"Whatever he wants to you?"

Maybe she shouldn't have said that? Confused by his reaction she nodded her head, "Sure, he's my Master and I trust him so whatever makes him happy makes me happy."

The more he heard her speak about him the more he realised that she really was in it for the long haul, no matter what happened she wanted to be with him forever and seeing the way that she was glowing talking about his best friend helped him decide that he would have the collar made for Hunter. If he was happy and secure enough to design the collar and actually ask him to have it made then it was not his place at this point to make the decision for him and not to have it made after this. "As long as you are happy too. Bec do you want one or two blankets?"

"One is fine, thank you."

Once Shawn left Rebecca smiled apologetically, "I'm sorry, if I had realised that he would come back I wouldn't have asked the question."

"It's fine, really it is, it's not like he wouldn't have found out this stuff from Master anyway and if he feels like he needs to ask me questions to be comfortable with this relationship then I am happy to do that. I should head to bed though; I have a date with my boss in the morning because I am sure that I will have a grilling about what went down in the cell."

"What will you tell him?" She had to admit to being nervous about what she would tell them incase she let something slip about Hunter.

"Just what they need to know, that he was a gentleman who treated me well and catered to my every desire." Standing up she took her empty plate over to the sink dropping it in to deal with tomorrow. "Sleep well and I'm sorry for what I put you guys through."

Rebecca stood up and moved closer, "Don't be, I'm just glad that you and Mr Hunter are safe and I'm pleased that you are so happy."

She couldn't help but grin, she really was happy, really happy, "I am, thank you." Making her way over to the other woman she hugged her tightly, "I will talk to you soon or tomorrow or something, night." Before she went to bed she found the men in the lounge and hugged them both and said goodnight and then went to crawl in to bed for a couple of hours.

The alarm went off too early for Stephanie, as she looked at the clock she realised that she had only managed about three and a half or so hours sleep and she was exhausted. Rolling out of bed she tiptoed to the bathroom so as not to wake anybody who may still be fast asleep.

Being stuck in his cell at all times was going to be a pain for Hunter as it meant that he wouldn't be able to just stare at Stephanie and there wouldn't be people milling around for her to get away with sneaking in to his cell. If he had to play up to get her alone in his cell then he would be willing to do that but hopefully it wouldn't come to that.

Last night before they had all left his cell he was informed that there would be an inquiry in to the evening and he would be questioned in the morning about what had happened, if they attempted to blame him for anything then he would not be held responsible for his actions.

He had barely finished his breakfast when his cell door swung open, "Governor wants to see you."

They certainly weren't wasting any time interrogating him but hopefully this was a good thing. He stood up and followed instructions to be cuffed as they escorted him to the Governor's office, if Stephanie was here she would have trusted him to walk without cuffs.

As they walked through the jail he decided to strike up a conversation as they were creeping him out, "So is day shift on yet?"

"What is it to you?"

Unfriendly much? Jeez, no wonder he preferred Stephanie's company. "I was wondering if Officer McMahon was working yet, I wondered how she was."

"She'll probably be off for a few days, after that ordeal last night, nobody would blame her if she never came back."

She had to come back, what would he do if she never came back? He still had a long time left on his sentence and by the time he got out she would have found somebody new and that couldn't happen. So wrapped up in his panicked thoughts he failed to recognise that they had reached the Governor's office until his cuffs were yanked on pulling him backwards.

The officer knocked on the door before pushing it open and forcing Hunter inside, "Helmsley is here. Keep the cuffs on him?"

"No he's fine, take them off please."

Once his cuffs were removed he politely sat down and waited to see how this went down, he was expecting the worst at this point so anything better than that would be nice.

"You understand why you are here I assume?"

"Yes Sir, I think so anyway. It's about last night right?"

"It is." Picking up his pen the Governor prepared to write notes, "So in your own words please explain what happened last night."

What happened last night was that people were dumb as posts and got the entire jail locked down, that was entirely what he was looking for though so he had to word it differently. "Officer McMahon brought me back from visiting and I sat down to chill out as she left but after about a minute I decided that I was thirsty so got up to get a drink but as I opened my cell door I saw Officer McMahon stood there surrounded by six men with shanks pointed at her. I didn't think these idiots would hesitate to use them on her and I knew that she was alone and could in no way protect herself so I pulled her back in to my cell by her arm and put my own body between her and the six men. Eventually I was able to get them to agree that if she stayed out of their way she was safe so I locked her in my cell with me, I shut the door and placed all of the heavy objects that I could move in front of it so that they couldn't push the door open."

"Why? Why would you risk your life for an officer?"

Maybe he wouldn't do it for every officer but it was Stephanie, she was his girlfriend and his sub and nobody was going to lay a finger on her except him and even then he wouldn't do it to harm a hair on her head. "There were six of them and one of her; there was nobody else around to protect her so why shouldn't I? There was a bigger chance of them not attacking me than there was her so call it a calculated risk or just a dumb decision but it worked."

The Governor continued to make notes on what he was saying, "So what happened once you were locked in the cell together?"

"I sat on the floor and allowed her to sit on my bed and we talked to pass time as we waited and then you got the jail under control and she was let out."

"Why was she flushed when you opened the door? Why was her shirt open?"

What the hell was he meant to say to that? They hadn't discussed a story so if this didn't match with hers they were in trouble. "She was warm? I don't know, to be honest I didn't care a whole lot about what she was wearing. I do know that you scared her when you banged on the door so that probably had something to do with the colour in her cheeks." To his ears that sounded plausible so hopefully they bought it.

Last night he had made notes of what Stephanie had said and this matched up with that so it had to be the truth. "You went above and beyond what is expected of you as an inmate and for that you will be rewarded. I will be putting forward a file that will go to the Judge that presided over your case with a recommendation that your sentence is decreased on the grounds of good behaviour and the fact that you saved an Officer's life. I would also like to reward you here within the jail, within reason obviously, so what is it that you would like?"

The last thing that he had expected was for there to be an offer of a reward for what he had done, he only did it to protect her and wasn't looking for anything from it but if there was a reward he wasn't going to turn it down. "Thank you for letting the judge know that I have turned my life around. As for a reward I would love a day release to my house, allow me to have a decent shower and some decent food. I know that it is a long shot but I thought I would ask."

"Do you want regular day release or one off day release?" He was surprised by the request; he thought that the request would have been something wild and outrageous, not a simple day release.

If he got the day release then he would be ecstatic, "Just the one day please. Asking for more than one day would be ridiculous and greedy and you definitely wouldn't and couldn't agree to it."

Although the request wasn't outlandish he wasn't sure that he could get the release committee to agree to it because of his history. "Don't get your hopes up, I can't guarantee that the release committee will agree to letting you out for the day."

"On the assumption that you are going to them with the idea of it being me alone out in to the world why not take to them the idea of Officer McMahon accompanying me for the day and me being under strict orders to not leave my house? I'm only looking for a nice shower and some good food so I don't need to leave the house for it and Officer McMahon will keep me in check."

Not wanting to give him an indication on how much more positive that would look for him and the fact that he had to run it by Officer McMahon first he nodded his head, "You are dismissed, I will get back to you on your request when I hear back."

Before he knew it Hunter was being put back in cuffs and escorted back to his cell, he wanted to see Stephanie badly right now but as they were expecting her to be off for a few days and with him being locked in his cell he couldn't even call Shawn to check on her. This was going to be a really long few days.
