Through the years after the day he rose from the pond, Jack was greeted by three other spirits after he found out no one could see, hear or touch him, Aki Leaffall the spirit of autumn was the first. He was barely three years old and so didn't yet know how to completely control his powers or the effect a blizzard could have on any mortal outside when one happened.

He had only recently discovered he wasn't the only winter spirit and had tried to befriend the others like him but they rejected him and showed him it by beating him until he passed out. After he woke up to find himself alone and severely wounded, he called for the wind to take him home.

As the wind carried him, Jack held his power back as long as he could but was forced to let it go the minute his feet touched the water of his pond and he collapsed to his hands and knees, hitting the ice.

"Oi, what do you think you're doing! It's still..." A male voice began to scream at him but it trailed off when the owner noticed Jack cringe and saw the shape he was in. "What happened to you, who did this?" The voice asked, much gentler this time as a hand was carefully laid on his shoulder.

"It... it was the others... other winter spirits, they don't like me." Jack's voice quivered as he answered, his arms giving way. A pair of arms caught him before he could face plant onto the ice.

"Easy there, I got you. What is your name child?" The voice asked as the arms gently rolled him over and laid him on his back, which allowed Jack to get a look at the older spirit. He was the same height as him with skin only a shade darker than his own brown eyes and reddish hair streaked with faded yellow and light orange, the colors of autumn. He wore a brown tunic with beige shorts.

"My name is Jack Frost, what is your name." He replied as he held back a winch of pain at being moved.

"Sorry if I hurt you lad, my name is Aki Leaffall and I'm the Spirit of autumn just like you are the Spirit of Winter. You have the advantage other those winter spirits as you are a rank higher than they are and they know it. Think of it as being their boss, you can tell them what and what not to do and they have to obey you."

Jack simply nodded as Aki lifted and carried Jack over to a snow pile where he set him down into it. "The snow will help heal your wounds, all you need do is rest. We can talk while your healing, tell me has your creator told you anything on how to control your powers?"

"No, all he told me was my name." Jack answered.

"He? It wasn't Mother Nature that gave you life?"

"No, it was the moon."

"MiM... it was Mim who... and he only told you your name, then that means."

Jack glanced at Aki in surprise at his words, which were laced with shock. "What, did I do something wrong, was I not meant to be born?" He whimpered, scared of the answer he might receive.

"Hm, or no child, you did nothing wrong and you being here wasn't a mistake. I'm just surprised, and upset, that Mim spoke to you only long enough to name you." Aki assured Jack, which calmed the winter child down enough for him to fall asleep. Aki smiled fondly at his younger brother before he left to tell their sisters about Jack.

The next seasonal spirit Jack met was Lily Sunblossom, the Spirit of Spring in the year of sixty-eight. He had, once again, been rejected by other spirits violently and barely made it back to his pond in time, bringing a blizzard with him.

Not even a second after he landed he was struck from behind and knocked to the, now, frozen water. "Who do you think you are, messin' with Easter. You winter spirits are all the same, don't care whose holiday your messin' with." A voice snarled above Jack.

Jack rolled over onto his back to see a giant gray rabbit standing over him and, instantly knowing who it was, tried to scoot back but only made a few inches before a paw wrapped around his ankle and dragged him back.

"Please, don't I'm sorry Bunny, I didn't mean to, I just..."

"I don't want to hear your excuses bloody show pony." Bunny snapped as he raised his other paw to Jack. Before he could lay his paw on him, though, Bunny is hit by a yellow and cream-colored blur which knock him away from Jack and sliding across the ice.

"Leave him alone, you bully." The blur snarled at Bunny, the voice belonging to a female, as she stood over Jack, protecting him.

Bunny stood up and shook himself before he turned to glare at whoever dare to attack him. The glare fell when he saw who it was, "Lily, what are you doing? Why are you defending that bloody winter spirit?"

"Because this 'bloody winter spirit', as you call him, is not only my little brother he is the Spirit of Winter and nothing like those winter spirits. He was chosen by Mim not Mother Nature!"

Jack glanced up to see another giant rabbit, this one colored in lighter shades then Bunny, stood, protectively, over him, her teeth bared at Bunny as he took a step toward them. "Leave before I do something your regret." Bunny opened his mouth to reply but decided against it when Lily growled at him in warning.

With a sigh he opened a tunnel to his warren and left. Once he was gone Lily turned to Jack and started to sniff over his wounds. "Sorry about Bunny, he can be a bit of a grump when it comes to Easter, you'll have to forgive him." She murmured as she began to lick his wounds clean.

"My name is Lily Sunblossom, by the way. It's a pleasure to finally meet you Jack. Aki has told me about you and I've wanted to meet you." She purred after she was done caring for him.

Jack smiled timidly at her as he stood up, taking a look at her. "Wow, your beautiful." He told her in awe, her fur was cream-colored with yellow markings and her eyes were a golden brown color.

"Thank you little brother." She said, preening at his comment. "Bunny may be a prat but he is my mate. Mother felt bad that her father killed off his race and so turned me into a Pooka after I died and brought us together."

Jack nodded in understanding, "Well... thank you for caring for my wounds, I guess I should be going now so... um... it was nice to meet you too... bye." He stuttered and was gone before Lily could answer.

"Help me." Her weakened voice called out to him as he few overhead, causing him to land roughly on the ground in surprise. He saw her broken body not far from where he landed and was by her side in an instant.

"What happened?" He asked as he gently took her bruised and bloody body into his arms before he sped for Aki's sanctuary, knowing that he would be able to help her better than ever could.

A weak cough sounded before she replied, "I don't know who it was that attacked me, they struck from behind and knocked me out before I could get a look at them. I was like this when I woke up."

"Alright, hang on, we're almost to Aki's. He can help you better than I can, I'm Jack Frost, what's your name."

"I know who you are, Aki told me. I'm Aimatia Rainshower, the Spirit of Summer and was wondering when I would get to meet you, Jack though I had hoped it would be under better conditions." Aimatia smiled as best she could.

Jack returned her smile as he landed in front of the entrance to the autumn sanctuary. "Aki, are you home. I need help, someone attacked Aimatia!" He called out and Aki came flying. He gently took her from Jack and carried her inside.

"How did you find her?"

"She called out to me as I flew over her, I wouldn't have known she was there if she hadn't."

Aki nodded in acknowledgement as he set Aimatia down on a bed of leaves so he could tend to her wounds. "Will she be alright?" Jack asked in worry.

"She'll be fine now that we can care for her. Lily will be coming for a visit today and I do you believe you have a job to do, you had better go see to winter." Aki told him as he moved about the room.

"Right." Jack remarked before he left to do as Aki said.
