A.N: I saw Megan Fox on TV talking about her role as April in the upcoming movie. She's a Shellhead, too! She went all nerd when Ellen gave her TMNT gifts for her boys.
Ericaphoenix16: there is still more behind Cally being friends with Fong. I'm not planning to have Callaby stuck underground but it could be good drama….and I love good drama…..
Beawolf's Pen: Cally better tell them!
Guest Melissa: it's a good friendship, there is a reason he would help her though. Yeah, I know for sure Splinter and the turtles would freak out.
Guest Alejandra: Surpise, surpise, haha. Fong should have seen the broom coming, though. Yep, she's going to have to tell someone.
I don't own TMNT
Much Happening
Treelore drove down the street with Cally sitting on the passenger seat. She was looking out the window the whole time since they left the apartments. She had been dazing in an out sometimes for the last few days. The day after Fong visited she decided to tell Treelore what was bothering her. She didn't mention how she knew, and luckily Treelore didn't ask. He was more concerned about the problem. "I think you should really stay put. At least until Shredder gives up in trying to get you."
"But I'm telling you that I can't just not visit them."
"Give them a month or so. They can wait."
"Maybe you're right. And, maybe as to not worry you I should just not go out so much. But I want to visit them soon, at least to go over and tell them. I need to tell Splinter in person."
"Well, if you insist. But day time and I'll drop you off myself." Of course Cally said yes to that, she wouldn't be in the car now.
They drove until Treelore pulled into an alley in a quiet street. Cally got out and looked at the manhole cover in front. Treelore said to her, "Wait? Maybe it's ok if we just call them and tell them instead of having to go."
"Treelore, I need some one on one with my friend. And the turtles have waited forever for me to come back."
"I just hate to see you go out when the Shredder could be after you."
"I can defend…." She stopped when she looked at Treelore's concerned face. She rephrased what she said, "Hamato is one of the greatest fighter's I've ever known. I count on him to protect me. Besides, it's day time and I don't think any Foot people are out on patrol. No one is going to know I'm here with them."
"If you're so sure. Call me when you're done so I can pick you up."
"That sounds safe enough."
Treelore left and Cally went down the sewers. It was a climb for Cally to go down the ladder, so when she got down to the bottom she said, "Phew, maybe I should just take a pregnancy leave. Yeah, I'm sure they'll understand…..oh who am I kidding, it's like leaving them a-" she heard splashing and she turned around to see nothing. Then a tiny rat came out of the dark tunnel and ran past her. "Ok, it was just a rat, nothing major."

Mikey was reading a comic book about aliens when he heard, "Ring, ring, hello?"
He smiled and put the comic book down….gently. He then ran off the couch he was sitting on and met with Callaby at the turnstile gate. "Cally." He hugged her once she got through the gate. "Hi, Michelangelo? What are you doing?"
"Reading comic books!"
"Aren't you guys supposed to be looking for mutagen."
"Well, Donnie's coming up with a device to track the mutagen so until then I'm catching up on some good reads."
Cally looked over at the comic book that was laying on the coach to her left. "About Aliens? Cool!"
"You think so?"
Donnie was in his lab creating the tracker when he heard voices outside. He knew who it was and without thinking he ran out of his lab and slid open the door. "Callaby!"
"Hey Donnie."
He ran up to her and said, "Did you talk to April?"
"I did but she's….she's not taking it well. I thought I could talk to her about you guys but she doesn't want to hear me out. I gave her some advice so hopefully she'll understand."
"It's all right." Donnie said sadly. "The best I could do is be there for her."
"There you go." Cally said nudging him on his side. "Now you're getting the idea."
"Cally!" yelled Leo as he ran out with Raph behind him. Splinter came out from the dojo hall as well, smiling at the sight. Everyone was smiling and surrounding Callaby asking her how she was doing. Splinter came up to the group and said, "It's the first time in while since I've seen them this happy."
"Really, I guess with the weight of looking for canisters really hurts, hey boys?" Cally said, joking around. The boys chuckled nervously, knowing that they haven't began their mutagen search yet.
"I'm sure." Splinter said, joining in. "Speaking of which, Donatello, you have finished your device?"
"Just need to put work in a few more kinks and it will be all done." Then he looked at Cally, "But it wouldn't hurt to have a little break for a story." All the boys began to eye her with puppy dog faces.
"Oh, what the heck why not?" Cally said.

One morning, a few days after I got better from being sick, I got ready to go out back to the sewers. It had been a while so I was hoping that Hamato and the turtles were all right. I went through the elevator this time, don't know why so don't ask. When I heard the ding and felt the elevator stop, I looked up to see I've only gone down one level. The door opened and in came two guys talking about something random. As they stood to my right and the door closed to go down, I couldn't help but over hear their conversation.
"No, we can't over that area." Said the guy closest to me. "The reason that building has never been reconstructed was the connection between the sewers and the subway under it."
The other guy looked at him odd and said, "But subways and sewers get remodeled due to surface work all the time."
"This one's different. The structure of the sewer is unstable, old. No one goes near there. That's why they abandoned the subway station next to it. If they kept running trains there, the wall would have eventually collapsed and there would be a huge mess underground. The whole subway would stink."
"Man, but the Amolton Street is so cheap."
"That's why no one buys anything from there."
The elevator dinged and the doors opened to reveal the lobby and the two guys walked out. I followed behind them until I got to the front desk where Hemsworth was sitting reading the newspaper. I went up to the front desk and said, "G' morning, Hemsworths."
"You sound cheery, today."
"Well, I have a question."
"No, there has not been any letter's from your father."
"No, it's not…." As the news hit me I slowed down. It's been like four or five months and I hadn't heard from my dad. Well, couldn't think of that right now. I just heard something and I need to know if it's important or not. "It's not that. I need to ask you about the abandoned subway?"
"You mean that old one by the quiet streets or the big one?"
"I think the street name is Amolton."
"Oh, the old one. Yeah, that thing hasn't been used since the 1980's. No one goes there for risk of the ceiling falling on you. Oh, and no worker would ever dream of going under there for inspection, especially since it's near the sewers."
"But it hasn't caved in yet, right?"
"No, luckily. Why do you want to know?"
"Oh, just wondering." I said innocently as I began to walk away.
"I wouldn't go hanging around there if I were you. No one goes there."
"Ok, thanks for the heads up." And I ran out the entrance without another word.
It took me a while to remember where Hamato had settled with the turtles and then finally I found them. They were in the same tunnel where I had last seen them. I looked down at the bottom level as I walked to the connecting tunnel. The water had subsided to just five feet, and looked dirtier than before. I made a dirty face and looked away, heading towards Hamato and the boys. He was feeding them something wrapped up in a tortilla. "Um, is that a burrito?" I asked.
Hamato looked up, almost surprised to see me. "I believe it is." He said. He wiped his hands when he was done feeding them. Then I heard the sound of glass being moved on hard ground and I looked to see the broken glass canister had been moved by Hamato's tail. "Hey, you found the canister! Good job." Hamato just nodded his gratitude.
He then said, "I'm glad to hear you are healthy again."
"Oh, yeah. One week of staying in bed made me better, but sick of that bed." I went up to the group of turtles sitting on the ground finishing up their breakfast. I sat down next to them and the first one to notice me was the freckle faced one. "Hey, buddy." He made baby noises and crawled up to me. Soon he began to play with my laces again.
"It is good you are here to entertain them." Hamato said looking over at the edge to the drop off down to the river. "It's been hard to keep them from crawling away and then going over to look at the edge."
"Well, at least you can rest when they're asleep."
"If they did sleep." He said rubbing his eyes.
I noticed how tired he and the bags under his eyes. "Have you slept at all these past few days?"
"Since my change I have hardly slept a full eight hours. And it is hard to sleep on such hard ground and in a small tight space in this tunnel."
That reminded me of something, "Hey! I actually might be able to figure out your situation." I picked up the freckle faced turtle and walked up to Hamato. "I heard of an abandoned subway station not far from here. We can probably take a look and see if it is a great place to settle."
"But what if human's go down that subway station? Maybe to see if it could work again."
"I heard someone say there was no chance. That the construction between the subway and the sewers made it too unstable to use. No train car has passed it in over ten years, probably never. And construction above won't disturb the station bellow because no one builds over it either. If they tear down the building over station, it could create a mess. The city doesn't want to risk it so no one looks there. It's the perfect hide out. And there is no chance of a flood."
Hamato seemed to think over it and his face showed he sort of wasn't interested. But surprisingly, he said, "Maybe it could work. You are right, Callaby, maybe that will be a great place to settle." I smiled. He really was taking my advice. This was great! It had to work, this plan I had. Hopefully it would be a good place for them to settle. He continued, "How about we go check first?"
"Perfect! And we'll take the turtles with us!"
Hamato carried the tallest one and the green eyed one while I had the dark blue eyed one and the freckle faced one. Together, we walked down tunnels as I mapped out the city in my head. "So if we take this tunnel we'll go back to the manhole cover from which we first hid under. Then maybe if we take it down we can hit McCarthy Square. From there I know where Amolton Street should be."
"It is very good that I have you here, to help me find my way around and all."
"It's nothing….really." I said. Really it wasn't. I bet he could find his way around better than me. He's probably just being nice.
A.N: She's going to tell them, but not now. We have a story to continue. Also, hints into Squirrelnoids hahaha….Next they find their new home. I'm KikaKatTIOI, peace out!
