Chapter 49

5 years later

"Lucy, my love, when will you end today?"

"Lucy, my love, are you still in your office?"

"Do you want me to come fetch you?"

Lucy kept on typing on her computer as her phone kept on ringing and she was just too busy to answer it until it goes to voice message. She ignores yet another voice message for she was really focused on what she was doing. It was 9 in the evening and probably, no, surely the only lights open in company's building were the hallways and of course her office room at the top floor.

"Lucy.." A female voice came from her door.

"Hm?" Lucy didn't need to look up to know who it was.

The brown haired girl walked in front of her and noticed her untouched coffee and donut. She rolled her eyes. "I bought those this morning..." Lucy kept on typing on her computer. "You didn't eat again?"

Lucy pressed the enter button and leaned back on her chair. She closed her eyes and smiled. "I brought food. I told you yesterday I will bring lunch.."

"But that was breakfast!" She reiterated. "And.. you wasted my effort?"

Lucy opened her eyes and smirked at the fuming woman in front of her. "Are you mad Cana?"

Cana crossed her arms and glared at the smirking woman. "It isn't obvious is it?"

"Nope. Not at all." Lucy chuckled. She returned to pressing some buttons on her computer. "I reserved those as snack this afternoon, but I guess it'll be midnight snack now."

"Yes! Do that! And if something happened to you, I'll be dead by the hands of those two redheads."

Lucy looked up confusedly.

"Your best friend? And.." She started gathering the scattered papers on Lucy's table. "..your boyfriend of course." Cana snickered.

Lucy rolled her eyes.

"He's been leaving voice messages all day. It's getting annoying."

Lucy turned off her computer and stood up from her seat. "Let him be." She yawned and stretched her arms up.

Cana smirked as she started picking papers and storing them inside Lucy's drawer. "So.. You're not denying that he's your boyfriend?"

"Hm.." Lucy kept on stuffing her things in her bag and completely ignored Cana. Her phone beeped and immediately she read the contents of the message sighing rather loudly.

"You know Lucy, it's annoying how you work late at night and you made me clean all these mess up." Cana said rolling her eyes at her boss. "From what I've heard you're organized before."

"i did not ask you to stay.." Lucy said in a sing-song voice.

"It's my job to stay here until my boss goes home." Cana tsked. "It's also my job to make sure you eat, you sleep and you have time for yourself."

Lucy chuckled. "Quit whining and start working." She teased and helped the clearly annoyed secretary. After they've gathered all the papers and things scattered all over Lucy's table, she smiled. Cana looked at her peculiarly. "Let's get some booze!"

"Now that's what I'm talking about!" Cana cheered and pulled Lucy out of the office into her boss' car.

When Erza was asked to be in-charge of Natsu's training everyone knew it will be dreadful. Especially for that one student she's having. She's been working so hard teaching Natsu everything she knew about the company. Everything an owner needs to know about his own company. Well, all through those years Natsu's been eager to know everything but of course there were times where he slacked or just wanted to give up because he just don't see himself running a company.

"WHERE THE HELL IS HE?!" Erza shouted as she barged in Natsu's suite. She kicked the door down with Jellal sighing in defeat as he follows her.

"Calm down Erza. He might still be asleep. After all -"

"Who is it?" A voice chimed from inside the master's bedroom.

Erza looked at Jellal and he just shrugged. Apparently, the night before the Natsu, Gajeel, Levy, Gray and Juvia went to a party of Gray's cousin. Erza and Jellal were invited but they went home early because Jellal said they really have nothing to do since Erza is not allowed to drink and he didn't really like to drive Erza home when he himself is drunk.

Erza barged into the master's bedroom and her eyes widened at the sight in front of her. There stood a woman in Natsu's white polo shirt, only. She was just finishing the buttons when the door flew open.

"What the hell?!" Erza shouted in annoyance and walked towards the blonde woman. "Who the hell are you?"

The said woman brushed her hair with her hand and placed her hands on her waist as she faced Erza with a smirk. "Natsu's -"

"I don't think so." Erza said huffing in annoyance. She placed her hands in front of her chest emphasizing her baby bump. She glared. "How did you get in?"

The blonde woman smirked. "Can't you tell what just happened in here?" She said gesturing to the messy bed. "Of course Natsu let me in." She said in a girly tone.

Erza hissed in annoyance. Jellal placed his hands on Erza's shoulders and pulled her away from the blonde woman. He sighed and reached for his wallet. "Okay, how much do you want?" He said and pulled out a couple of bills in his wallet. "I'll be happy to triple Natsu's payment just.. forget this ever ha -"

The blonde woman slapped the wallet from Jellal's hand and glared at him. "I don't need your money. Do you not know who I am?" She shouted turning red. "I am Jenny Realight. From Realight Company, future Mrs. Dragneel." She smirked. "Nice to meet you Natsu's secretary." She said, gesturing to Erza.

Erza rolled her eyes. "You know what? I'm sick of all these. I'm sick of talking to girls like you. I don't care if Natsu slept with you or whatever you two did last night but you'll never be Mrs. Dragneel."

Jenny sat on the bed and crossed her legs. "Natsu don't sleep with anyone. It's just me, for love." She reached for her phone that was by the bedside table. "I was just about to tweet -" She was shocked when her phone came flying towards the wall opposite the bed. "What the hell?!"

"Where'a Natsu?" Erza said getting more annoyed by the minute. "I swear I'm gonna kill him this time."

"Erza calm down." Jellal said running his hands up and down her arms. "Don't stress yourself, please."

"Am I really that useless that I cannot discipline Natsu?" She asked tears started to form at the brim of her eyes. "How will I be able to be a good mother if I can't even -" Erza sobbed and Jellal led her to a reclining chair.

In Jellal's part, he was actually going crazy. One second Erza was being an exaggerated Erza, she will go rage then another second she was like this, feeling hopeless. Well, he just got to bare with it for 1 more month. He sighed as he looked around.

"What mess have you gotten yourself into again, Natsu?" He mumbled to himself as he walked back to where Jenny was. She was tying her long blonde hair up high while she kept on humming a tune Jellal has never heard before. "Where's Natsu?"

Jenny looked up and smiled at him. "Let's see.. Hmm. Call me Mrs. Dragneel or give me a kiss and I'll -"

"Back off slut!" Erza shouted from another end of the room.

Jellal hissed under his breath and looked back at Jenny. She was pouting in annoyance. "Obviously, I won't give you a kiss. Never will." He looked back at Erza making sure she heard what he said. "And I won't call you that either."

"You will.. Soon." Jenny played with her hair that was in front of her. "If you're going to ask why, hm, let's just say we didn't use -"

"Oh stop it!" Jellal said raising his hands in front of him. "I'm not going to believe anything you say. And I'm not asking anything between you and Natsu. I just want to know where he is." Suddenly his phone beeped. He immediately pulled it from his pocket and his face soften. He turned his back from Jenny and walked back to Erza. "Natsu's at Lucy's."

"I should have known." Erza said and stomped her way to the door. She stopped before she got out. "You better get your ass off here when we came back, or I'll call the police."

Cana and Lucy spend almost all their night going to a club named 'Immortals'. It has lived up to it's name because it never closes. 24/7. Even on holidays. And whenever Lucy comes there it was always packed. Not just on this Friday night, but always. Being with Cana most of the time. Lucy had spent her nights almost everyday of the week in that club. The even had they own booths and they were treated as regular, valued costumers.

"Hey Lu!"

Lucy looked up from her seat and saw a man with red hair coming their way. He was clad in white dress shirt and gray blazers. His usual office uniform. To Lucy, he looked drunk. Probably he's been here for a couple of hours now.

"I've been calling you. You're late!" The man pouted.

Lucy giggled. She reached for his cheeks which made the man's cheeks flush immediately. "You're already drunk Dan!" Lucy shouted through the loud beating of sound. "I was finishing some papers. Sorry!"

Dan immediately pulled Lucy against him and whispered in her ear. "I just missed you."

"Yeah." Lucy said softly and lightly pushed him away. She smiled.

"Damn this hangover." Lyon whined clutching his head in between his hands as he rested his arms on the table of the coffee shop they were in. "It's a good thing we brought a driver with us. I couldn't even get to the car myself, how could we even drive back from Crocus."

It was the truth. None of them were capable enough to even walk straight, let alone drive.

"Yeah. Natsu ditched us in the middle of the night." Gajeel said in annoyance.

Levy looked at both of them confusedly. "Where did he ran off to last night?" Gajeel just shrugged.

"Even so.." Gray leaned back on his chair his arms extending one side as he inhaled the scent of freshly brewed coffee. "..it's so far the best party ever."

"Yeah, you stuck with Juvia all night." Levy said giggling while she took a sip of her coffee. "Don't want any guy eyeing her, huh?"

"WHAT?!" Lyon suddenly shouted. "You hogged her all to yourself all night? You cheater."

"Hey! I didn't do -"

"I saw you." Gajeel interfered with a smirk on his face. He extended his arm on the sofa and Levy leaned onto him.

Gray stood up from where he is seated with a huge blush on his face. "I said I didn't do that! I just didn't see you guys during the party! I was stuck with her.. involuntarily."

Levy rolled her eyes. "Oh really?"

Lyon grabbed Gray by the collar and pulled him up. "You're hogging her all to yourself and you can't take the responsibility? Not really manly Gray."

"That surely hit the spot. You should take responsibility of what you did to Juvia, Gray." Levy said.

"Man up Gray. Take responsibility for what you did to Juvia." Gajeel said chuckling as he placed his mug down the coffee table.

Gray pushed Lyon away from him and glared at all of the people surrounding the small coffee table. "I didn't even do anything to Juvia. What responsibility should I take?!"

"Just take the damn responsibility Gray." Levy teased even more.

"Oho, what's this conversation I'm hearing?" They all looked up to see Jellal and Erza. "You got Juvia pregnant?" Jellal turned to Gray who was now back to his seat and asked.

"I DID NOT!" Gray shouted.

"Then what are you taking responsibility for?"

Levy placed her mug back to the table. "For what he did to Juvia."

"You -"

Before Erza could finish her sentence Gray spoke. "Quit saying it like I did something, Levy!"

"But you did!"

"I didn't see her the whole night! Where did you brought her?" Lyon said his anger raising.

"Hey guys! What's the commotion about?" They all stopped and stared at the pink haired man who entered the cafe. He was dressed in black dress suit and pants. His perfectly tailored suit outlines his well built body. He stepped towards the group, his shoes clicking with the tiles of the cafe. He smiled widely when he reached them.

"Natsu.." The said man looked to the side and gulped. He knew very well who owns that voice and with that tone, he knew he's dead. He started to sweat as he turns his head to the red haired demon sitting on his right.

Natsu paled. "G-Good morning E-Erza!"

Erza glared at him. "Where the hell have you been? Who's that woman in your room? What happened to the two of you? What happened last night? Did you really did it? Okay, skip those questions I don't even want to know what you did last night. Damn! What the hell are you thinking? -"

"Goodluck, future baby Fernandes." Gray said in kind of a whisper but Jellal and some other were able to hear it. Jellal stiffened and glared at Gray to which Gray just snorted.

"- Have you gone insane? Didn't I tell you to take care of your image? What would the Board say if that gets to the press? Do you know that the whole company will suffer with what you have done? And what will Lu -"

"Okay, that's where I stop you Erza." Natsu said in a low voice. "I'm from Lucy's. I texted Jellal, didn't he tell you?" He turned to the man beside Erza.

Jellal shrugged. "I told her."

Natsu's eyes widened and his mouth hanging. "Then why didn't you save me?!"

Jellal chuckled. "Well, it was funny."

Natsu glared at him. "I'm at Lucy's, Erza. And about that girl in my suite -"

"Lucy's?" Lyon looked up from his phone and asked out of nowhere. "She's back?" Lyon looked from person to person but they're all avoiding his gaze. Now, he's more curious.

It was silent until Levy spoke. She was still looking down as she bit her lip. "That's just what we all call the place where Natsu's parents were buried. It was Lucy's gift to Natsu before she left." She said, her voice trailing. Levy scooted closer to Gajeel for some comfort. "You know, instead of calling it Lucy's gift it just became Lucy's. We didn't want to call it Natsu's parent's grave or something."

"Ohhh. Then, why call a grave Lucy's?" Lyon asked again looking back to his phone. When no one answered he looked back up to all of them. An awkward silence starting to linger in the air. He cleared his throat and looked back down to his phone. His eyes widened. "Holy guacamo -.. What the hell is this Natsu?!" Everyone looked at him. He smirked. "So you're on rogue now huh, Natsu?"

"What the hell are you talking about?" Natsu asked completely confused.

Lyon lifted his phone and faced them its screen. "Hot News: Jenny Realight posted a photo wearing Natsu's polo shirt while on his bed."

All their eyes widened and Natsu grabbed the phone from Lyon's hand. He stared at it not moving.

"What's going on?" Levy asked, grabbing the phone from Natsu. Her eyes widened at what she saw. She threw the phone at him. Lyon gasped. "What the hell Natsu?! I thought you're over these games?"

Without another word, Natsu went out of the cafe.

Lucy just got back to her suite after bringing Cana home. As always, Cana made herself drunk in no time. Lucy didn't know how Cana could stomach that much alcohol. When she was on her third bottle Cana was on her 8th or 9th and that surprises Lucy because they started at the same time. She let out a heavy breath as she made her way to the fridge for some water. She wasn't really drunk. She was used to drinking alcohol. And being with Cana almost every night that they were drinking, you can say she was trained. It was really an exhausting day. It wasn't really exhausting because of her office works, but dealing with a drunk Dan and Cana for the whole night was. Lucy would never get used to how they get when they were drunk. And there was the two of them, and she's on her own. She changed her clothes and lay on her bed.

"How long has it been?" She smiled to herself. "I hope they're doing well.." She said to no one in particular. Everytime, before Lucy goes to sleep she would often wonder how the people in her past was now. It's been so long since she's gotten in touch to anyone of them. Last time she had a talk with Erza was about 2 years ago. And Lucy just really misses them so much. She really can't get in touch with them regularly because she would often go from one country to another. She's always going through different timezones, and that's just really difficult. Plus, her work made her really busy. She needs to learn a lot of languages just to be able to communicate and of course impress possible business partners.

It's been 5 long years and Lucy could say that even if she's just 23, she's a veteran in what she's doing. In a year, she could get the company an extension to 2 to 3 different countries. She's been getting a lot of offers to be partners with and now she just have to choose which company would be really worth it.

Suddenly, Lucy's phone rang. She sat up straight to see who called her at 2 in the morning.

"Lucy!" A voice rang in Lucy's ear. She cringed at first but felt her heart bubble in excitement, she wouldn't forget his voice. He's been the one Lucy was talking to most of the time. Well, mostly due to business concerns.

She was quite shocked at first but then she smiled. "Hey Gramps! What caused you to call me? It's 2 in the morning here." She said and stood up from the bed. She turned her lamp on and walked towards the kitchen to get some snacks. Maybe she won't get any sleep tonight, she grabbed her tablet and decided to just go search for something. "Is there a problem in the company?"

"Sorry! Sorry! No! No! There's none. It's just, I-we all really miss you so much. When are you coming back?"

She froze. Makarov has never called her just to ask how she's doing.. actually, he tried once but she was just too busy to talk to him. Maybe this is the right time. Her face softened. It's just that her Gramps just really cared for her and even though it was 2 in the morning and there wasn't really anything important he'll say to her, she was glad he called to tell her they missed her. "I don't know Gramps.." Then there was silence. She continued flipping through the news. "How are you Gramps?"

"Perfectly fine! We just really missed you, that's all. Nat -"

Lucy cut him off, not really wanting to go to that subject yet. "H-How was Fairy Law?" She asked hesitantly. Lucy really didn't know how to ask that. She haven't gotten in touch with anyone in the band since she left. Last year she tried to call Erza, just because she missed her, but it ended up Erza was kind of busy that time. And that's it. Makarov was silent for a while and it made Lucy stop her browsing. "Gramps? You there?"

He cleared his throat. "I thought you knew.. They've disbanded 2 years ago." Lucy's eyes widened. "They all agreed to do it. Since.. Well, they've all been really busy themselves. They lost the Band Battle, being in 4th place." Well Lucy knew that part. "They were able to regain their fame a year after. But then they just decided to stop."

"D-D-Didn't they tell you why they stopped?" She clenched her fist. Lucy can't see any logical reason as to why the band would disband. They were perfect. They were at the top of their game. The last time she heard from them was that they just launched an album which was instantly graded 4 platinum awards just after 2 hours of launching it. Lucy find herself worrying for them. That information was about 3 or 4 years ago, and she never heard of them. She wondered how she never got the news of them being disbanded. Did they run out of songs to write? But she was sure the band would pull through a songwriter's block. Levy is with them. She has a lot of words for sure.

"They didn't tell me. No one told me. I don't know a thing as to why they disbanded. I was just informed after they made it in public." Makarov said in a sad tone.

"I see. Well, I haven't talked to any of them ever since.." She bit her lip. The truth is, she didn't want to talk to any of them. She didn't want to know anything about them because she knew that within a heartbeat she'll come back to them. And that just.. a no. Lucy knew she chose to go, but going back felt different. Will they still acknowledge her as the friend they once had? Did they still want her back? She didn't know. She felt her whole body shaking just thinking about that. Lucy misses them. She misses them so much. "How was Jellal and Erza?" She left them, she left him just like that. And all through those years Lucy felt bad about what she did.

Makarov chuckled on the other line. "They're all doing fine Lucy. Don't worry about those brats too much. Jellal and Erza were expecting though, I think?"

Lucy's eyes widened. "Really? That's good to hear!" She exclaimed really excited about the turn of events. But then she frowned. "But they didn't call me for their wedding.."

"There's no wedding yet." Makarov immediately said. "I was surprised myself. But it seems they really love each other, so I think it's fine. They'll eventually get to the wedding."

Lucy smiled in relief. She really wanted Erza to invite her to their wedding. She really wouldn't miss that for the world. But then again, just thinking of going back made her shake. "That's good to hear. I thought they didn't invite me.." Her voice trailed.

"Don't be ridiculous, Lucy." Makarov immediately replied. "I'm sure no matter what, they tell you. In anyway they could. Even if they have to broadcast it to the world. They'll do it just to invite you." He chuckled.

Lucy giggled. "Yeah, that really sounds like what Erza would do..." Before. But what now? But Lucy held herself from saying that. She continued browsing through her tablet.

"Lucy, I've been meaning to talk to you something about Nats -"

She froze. "Gramps.." Lucy paused trying to keep her breathing in check. The last thing she wanted was Makarov worrying about her. She cleared hear throat to mask her shaky voice. "Gramps.. who's Jenny Realight?"

Natsu was in his office, his head on his table. He groggily lifted his head to see Erza walking in the office.

"You stayed here?" She asked as she stopped in front of his table.

"Well yeah.." He yawned. "You said to stay away from my suite. I don't have anywhere to go."

Erza rolled her eyes. "You should've went to Lucy's condo unit. You have the keys to her unit."

"I was about to but I left it in this table and I just slept here.."

Erza sighed in annoyance. "You should be responsible for your actions. I won't help you this time." She tapped her shoes on the floor getting really annoyed at the man in front of her. "I helped you clean up your mess before, clean this on your own."

Suddenly, Natsu's phone beeped and he immediately snapped out of his sleepy state. He grabbed his phone to check if it was the one that he's been wanting to talk to all night, but he sighed in defeat. "Damn. What a pain. The press has been calling or sending me messages about that issue."

Erza slammed her hand on the table glaring at Natsu. "Listen you! You fix this up before this gets to Lucy or I'll personally break your bitches face and kick you hard where you'll never get to see a junior."

"She's not my bitch, or whatever. She's just the same old issue like what before." Natsu said out of impulse.

"Then you mean to say you act without thinking again?!"

Natsu leaned back on his chair trying to hide himself from Erza's deathly glares. "NO! She was really drunk after the party, I can't understand where she wanted me to take her so I brought her to my suite -"

"And then you took advantage of her! YOU IDIOT!" Erza was about to lunge herself at him when Natsu's phone rang.

They both stopped and stared at the ringing phone. It was his personal phone, ringing. And it really got him on his toes. Natsu immediately took his phone and answered it. "Hello! Gramps -"

"NATSU YOU IDIOTIC PERSON!" Natsu's cringed. "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?! I THOUGHT YOU -"

"Gramps!" Natsu shouted with the same loudness. "This is the first time I'm glad you called me this early in the morning! I was trying to call you all night, damn, where were you?!"

"Watch who your speaking to young man!"

"I don't have time! Tell me Lucy's location or whatever just I need to -"

"Who is that Jenny Realight huh? What did you get yourself into this time? Do you think you're the only whose going to be affected? What about the company? What about Lucy? You hurt her!"

Natsu's eyes widened. "Wait. What?" He looked up and so that Erza was listening to their conversation. "The news reached Lucy already?!"

"YES! And she said she was really happy you found someone!" Natsu's heart stopped beating. He felt like his whole world was crashing. "What the hell did you do this time huh? I thought you said you're going to wait for her?"

But he couldn't hear anything. It's like his world stopped. Why is Lucy happy he found someone else? Did she really mean that? He felt all the energy in his body left him. Did she really moved on? Did she not love him anymore? Natsu couldn't take that. In fact, he wouldn't take yes for an answer to those questions. All through those years, Natsu's been waiting and waiting for her return. He tried getting in touch with her but for some reasons, she always changes her number when she goes to different countries. He didn't understand why she wouldn't just get an international line. But a year after he came to the conclusion that Lucy asked for time and space, that must mean that it includes not talking. That time he gave up trying to talk to her. She asked for it, he'll gladly give her as much as she wants. Just, she should come back to him no matter how long it takes. A year later, he really got jealous the next day he found out that Erza was able to talk to her the whole night. And it hurts him that she didn't want to talk to him. He tried to go where she goes but apparently, she goes from one country to another and she even asked Erza to teach him well. All these years he thought that telling Erza to teach him everything was a sign that she still thinks of him and that she cares for him, gave him hope. But after the hearing what Gramps said she said. It broke him. He can't just accept that. "You're lying Gramps." He said in a low voice. "Why would Lucy be happy that I've found someone else?"

"You're not even listening to me! I just told you what she said. I don't know what's happening with her now but she said she's happy for you and that she wishes both of you luck. Damn it Natsu! Clear this thing up!"

Did she really said those words? "But.. You said I.. hurt her.. Then -"

"I already told you it's just a hunch. She didn't tell me anything after she said she was happy for you." All of Natsu's hopes came crashing down right in front of him. Lucy was happy for him for that. She doesn't care about him anymore, in fact, she's happy about that. Natsu clenched his fist. "But.. It's better to clear things up with her. Who's that Jenny anyway? What is she to you?"

Natsu remained silent. What's the point of even talking to her when she's moved on? When she doesn't care anymore? "She's.. Uhh Gramps.. I-I.. I need to go."

"Natsu.." Natsu placed his phone back to his ear. "I'm giving you Lucy's current contact. I want you to clear things up with her."

"It's okay Gramps.. That-The news is -"

Suddenly, Erza grabbed the phone from Natsu. "Sir Makarov, this is Erza. Is Lucy with you?"

"Erza? Eh, well no. I spoke to her this morning though. She's in Fiore right now.. in Crocus."

Erza's eyes widened. Her eyes went back to Natsu but he's looking down on his hands. "Then, can I at least know a way to talk to her?" Erza said as she stared outside the glass walls of Natsu's office.

"That's what I was telling Natsu. I wanted him to tell Lucy the truth.." He paused. "I, myself don't know if the news has some truth in it but I know for sure Lucy needs to know. Even if it's true, I want Natsu to be the one to tell Lucy that."

"I figured. This was the same as the issues before.. I think and hope." She heard Makarov sigh in relief from the other line. "This just managed to got out. Sorry, we've been careless."

"It's not your fault Erza. I don't care now about the company.. Just, please, clear things up with Lucy. Even if she said she's happy for them, I know she still wants to know."

Erza looked back at Natsu. He was still in the same position but his eyes were closed. And she noticed his fists were clenching. "Like a closure.." She saw him tightly gripped on the armchair. "Okay. Thank you. Please just send the contact in this phone. Thank you." Erza place the phone back on the table and walked in front of him again. "A contact will be sent to you -"

"I don't want to.." Natsu's head was down. "I don't want a closure.. I only want her. I only need her.. But.. But she doesn't to me.. I don't want to hear that straight from her." Natsu looked at Erza but she already had his phone in her hands and dialing some numbers. His eyes widened. "I said don't call her!"

Erza shoot him a deathly glare when he tried to snatch the phone back. "This is not for you. I'm the one who'll talk to her so this is none of your business!"

Strange how Natsu could hear the sound of the phone ringing.. Waiting for Lucy to answer her phone. It was strange how the longer it rings the louder it gets. The more nervous he becomes. He could feel his heart pounding real fast. Natsu doesn't want a closure with Lucy. He never wanted that. Never. He doesn't want anything to close between the two of them. He just can't.

"Lucy.." Erza spoke. Her voice became really warm and Erza was smiling in joy. "Yes, it's me Erza. No. This is.. Natsu's phone."

Just then.. They were just a phone away. An ear away from hearing her voice. She's on the phone with Erza. He craved to hear her voice. But.. Natsu clenched his fist tight and sat back on his chair.

Natsu could feel his heart pounding against his chest. He could not take his eyes off his phone that was on Erza's ears. That is Lucy, on that phone.. All he needs to do id grab it.

"Yes Jellal and I are expecting a boy in a month." Erza said proudly. Her voice was filled with joy. "And you're going to come here the moment I give birth. If not, I'm going to drag you here myself."

With that, Natsu's eyes widened.

"In 3 weeks. I am not working at all. Don't worry. I'm perfectly fine." Erza paused. "So you're going back right? I want you to be his godmother. And my maid of honor. Yes, wedding is just 2 months after I give birth. No. You can't go. You're help me with the wedding and of course what kind of godmother are you if you're going to leave my son that soon?! Yes. You have to be here in 3 weeks, for 3 or 4 months." It was not even a request. It was an imperative statement coming from Erza. Just then, she turned back to look at Natsu.

He was looking at her from his seat. He could feel his palms sweating.

And Erza smirked.

He'll see her. Real soon.
