Lucille listened to Jacob and tried to understand him. He was talking to fast for her to comprehend. She just smiled and would answer a question whenever he took a breath.

Henry walked through the hallway and peeked in Jacob's bedroom. He saw his wife packing Jacob's things and saw the amused look on her face. He soon understood why she was smiling. She laughed and reached out to touch his arm.

She said "honey, breathe!"

Jacob took a deep breath and was about to start talking again when he spotted his father.

"Dad! Can we take Jack?"

Lucille smirked and said "he asked me and I told him to ask you."

Henry narrowed his eyes at her and said "you just want me to be the bad guy! You probably put him up to it!"

She gasped dramatically "I would never! I can't believe you'd accuse your poor, innocent wife of going behind your back like that."

Henry crossed his arms and smirked "you expect me to believe that?"

She grinned "don't you trust me?"

He laughed and scoffed "hell no!"

Her mouth fell open "Henry!"

He laughed and walked over to her and dropped a kiss on her head.

"I'm sorry, Jacob but we can't take Jack this time. Maggie is going to watch Jack and Axel for us. They'll be fine."

Jacob began to pout and Henry said "you'll be too busy having fun to pay attention to Jack. We don't want him getting lose or hurt do we?"

"No."

Henry said "Maggie will take good care of him."

Even Lucille had a worried look on her face and Henry winked at her. They finished packing Jacob's things and walked downstairs.

Margaret was in her bedroom packing and saw Bill sitting on the bed pouting. She couldn't help but laugh.

He said "quit making fun of me! I'm hurting here!"

She tried to surprise a laugh "I'm sorry."

He rolled his eyes "sure you are! You get to have fun and I have to stay home for work."

She smiled "is that the only reason you're upset?"

He grinned and crawled to the edge of the bed and sat on his knees. He slid his arms around her waist and pulled her close. He laid his head on her stomach. She dropped the shirt she was folding and ran her hand over his head.

"I'm going to miss you. What am I supposed to do for a week? My bed's going to be cold."

She said "it won't be that long."

He huffed and she giggled "You're the one that told Henry you couldn't go. He offered."

He rolled his eyes "I know that but I can't get out of my shifts. Maybe I can see how my patients would feel if I do there surgery when I get back."

She laughed "Billy! You can't do that."

He sighed "I know. Sometimes being a doctor sucks!"

She smiled "but you're so good at your job and you're great with people."

He smiled "I'd still rather have you."

She smiled "you're sweet. It's only for a week."

He said "what happens if you meet another man there?"

She chuckled "good one. Who would want me? I'm returned remember? I was never even expecting to find you again. You completely took knocked me off my feet."

He said "exactly. It could happen down there too."

She tensed and said "are you saying you don't trust me? You're starting to sound like Harold! I'm not a slut damn it!"

His eyes nearly popped out his head and she froze when she realized what she did.

He said "hey now. I was just playing. I know you're not a slut. You're just now getting comfortable being naked with me."

She blushed.

He smiled "don't be embarrassed baby. I think it's cute. I didn't mean to sound like I was accusing you of something. I'm sorry I hurt you."

She sighed "you didn't. I overreacted."

She squealed as he carefully pulled her onto the bed. She landed on top of him straddling his waist. She laughed.

He rubbed her thighs and said "I really am sorry. I just got you back and don't want to lose you."

She smiled "that will never happen. I need to finish packing."

She went to crawl off of him and he quickly pinned her to the bed. She grinned as she looked up at him "Bill."

Without a word he kissed her. They spent the next half hour making love. She laid on her side of the bed panting. He rested his head on his hand and watched her. She looked at him and smiled.

He said "what?"

She said "I think I've realized I do enjoy making love...with you!"

He laughed "well, I'd hope with me. It'd break my heart if you're using me for practice and then find another man to play with."

She knew he was teasing so she giggled "Billy! That would never happen. I've waited far to long to have you in my life. I'm not doing anything to screw it up!"

He gently pinched her nose "nothing you do could ever make me change the way I feel about you my darling. I keep thinking I'm dreaming and when I wake up you'll be gone."

She cupped his cheek "is that why you're having issues with me going to Florida? You're scared I won't come back?"

He sighed "I don't know. I guess I'm just being a big baby. You deserve this trip. I'm glad you're finally going somewhere else. I just wish I could be there to see the look on your face when you see the ocean for the first time or walk on the beach with you bare feet. Wouldn't a beach wedding be amazing?"

She felt her eyes water and she nodded "I wish you could go. I'm not to thrilled knowing Jacob and I will be alone sometimes while Henry and Lucille go out."

He said "me either. Who knows Marge? I maybe able to visit for a day. Would you like that?"

She smiled brightly "I'd love it but that's a wasted trip for you."

He said "no it's not! I get to see the most beautiful woman in the world. That in itself makes it worth while."

She smiled softly "oh Billy. I love you but I really need to finish packing. I'm staying at my son's tonight so we can leave in the morning."

He sighed "fine."

She kissed him and got out of bed.

Lucille was standing by the kitchen sink staring out the window. She was watching Jacob play with Margaret and the dogs. She had this nagging feeling in the pit of her stomach that this trip was a bad idea. Part of her was excited but the other part of her was scared that if they left Arcadia her family might disappear.

Henry entered the kitchen and found his wife lost in her own little world. He snuck up on her and kissed her cheek as he slid his arms around her. She gasped but leaned against him.

He said "are you alright?"

She nodded "I'm just watching them play."

He nuzzled her neck "try again."

She looked up and furrowed her brow "what?"

He said "honey, I think nearly after 40 years of marriage I know when something is bothering you my sexy, little red head."

She smiled at that last part and turned around in his arms. She leaned against the counter.

"I'm scared Henry. I think this trip was a bad idea."

He was surprised to say the least "I thought you loved Florida?"

She shrugged "people change. I wish you would've asked me first."

He looked at her and said "it was a surprise. Are you scared of the plane ride? If so we can always drive."

She shook her head "it's not that Henry."

He smiled "you've got to help me out here sweetheart. I'm completely lost."

She sighed "I'm afraid to leave Arcadia."

He cocked his head "how come?"

She sniffled "you, Jacob, and Margaret are safe in Arcadia. What happens when we leave? I don't want anything to happen to you guys. I'm worried."

He smiled "nothing is going to happen."

She said "how can you be so sure?"

He smiled "Jacob was found in China. Remember?"

She closed her eyes "oh yeah. I overreacted didn't I?"

He chuckled and kissed her forehead "don't worry about it. I know none of this is easy for you."

She said "I'm just glad I still have you and Jacob with me."

He kissed her "I will be here as long as you want me here and I'm sure Jacob will be to."

She sighed in relief "I hope you're right."

He grinned "aren't I always?"

She laughed and walked off.

He stared at her retreating form and shouted "right?"

He received no answer and sighed.

Henry was cleaning his work shop when Fred came over.

"I just wanted to say to goodbye in case I missed you."

Henry smiled "we're coming back you know."

Fred smirked "I know. I actually came by to ask you a question."

Henry looked at him and Fred said "is mom really going to Florida?"

Henry smiled "yeah. I knew she never wanted to go with us so when she accepted the invitation I was thrilled."

Fred scowled at Henry "you thought she didn't want to go with us?!"

Henry was shocked by his outburst "well, yeah. Dad always told me she declined or was afraid of flying. Why?"

Fred rolled his eyes and crossed his arms "you believed him?!"

Henry said "yeah. What's wrong with that? Mom even told me she didn't want to go to Paris that one time."

Fred shook his head "you know nothing! She lied."

Henry frowned.

Fred sighed "mom wanted to go to Paris more than anything. Dad wouldn't let her. In fact he wouldn't let her go anywhere outside of Arcadia."

Henry tensed "why did she lie?"

In a gentle voice Fred said "why do you think? She knew that trip was your graduation present and she didn't want to ruin that for you. If she threw a fit shed either get hurt or he threatened to cancel the whole thing. I heard her crying one night and I finally found out the truth about the trip."

Henry was stunned "my god! I just thought mom hated traveling."

Fred said "that's the way dad wanted it."

Henry said "I wish I had known. I would've insisted she go."

Fred said "It wouldn't have worked Henry."

Henry said "mom should've been allowed to go. I wanted her to experience Europe with us."

Fred nodded "she did."

Henry looked confused and Fred said "I made a photo album for mom and brought it back as a souvenir type thing. She cried when I gave it to her. I think that was the first time I ever saw her cry happy tears."

Henry smiled "you're a good son. Why didn't she tell me?"

Fred said "she didn't want any one to know about it. She was afraid dad would find it and take it away from her."

Henry shook his head "he's such a bastard! I wish I could teach him a lesson!"

Fred nodded and grinned "like you did at church?"

Henry laughed "he had that coming!"

Fred laughed "yes he did!"

Henry said "come on. Let's go inside."
