Ch. 52: Cue the Fangirls Buying Jack Frost!
The next day, nothing interesting really happened at school. Now, Maddie was at the store again with Feliks. He was smiling from ear to ear because he said he had the perfect dress design.
"So, what do you think?" he asked holding up the dress.
"Oh wow," she gasped. It was a cotton candy pink with spaghetti straps. It had ruffles on the end of the dress, making it poof out. Of course, it wasn't complete because they still needed ribbons and other details, but it was stunning.
"I'll take your silence as 'I love it! Thank you Feliks; you're the best designer friend I've ever had!'," he said smiling.
"You took the words right out of my mouth, Feliks," she answered slightly red. "And you're my only designer friend I have."
"That means I'm the best!"
"Yes, yes."
"So, let's buy this and we'll go to Claire's or something and get the other things. But first, what's your size?"
"Erm... I'm not sure. I usually don't wear dresses." Feliks nodded and checked her shirt size.
"Alright. Ahh, they have the right size! Thank goodness. If they didn't, we would've had to choose another dress."
"Oh..."
"Yeah. But they do have it, so it's okay!"
"Cool!"
"Yep! So let's purchase this and go get everything else."
"Shall we?" She held out her elbow. Feliks linked his with hers.
"We shall."
Feliks and Maddie could be found in Claire's twenty minutes later. As usual, it was packed tight with little girls looking at everything everywhere.
"What color ribbons did you say we need?" Maddie had to raise her voice to be heard over the screaming fangirls (the shop's theme this time was Rise of the Guardians. Guess who they were fangirling about).
"Maple red," he answered just as loud. "I'll look over here, while you get the rest of the store, okay?"
"Alright. Meet you at the register in ten minutes."
"Deal!" The blondes split ways and drove into the crowd. Maddie went to her half of the store (with quite a bit of struggle, might she add) and her eyes quickly scanned all the accessories, finding tons of ribbon, but none maple red.
A couple of kids bumped into Maddie, one of which knocked her onto the ground. She heard a quick 'sorry' before the kids ran off. She was about to stand up when she saw what she was looking for. She crawled over to it, seeing it was on the bottom shelf, making sure no one stepped on her fingers. She grabbed the three yards of ribbon and stood up, brushing herself off.
She went to the register and waited for Feliks, trying not to get trampled again by Jack Frost fangirls.
Soon enough, Feliks found Maddie. He was holding white gloves, a head band, and a few hair clips.
"Did you find everything?" he asked.
"Yeah," she said holding up the ribbon. "Did you?"
"Totally! Let's check out now." They walked up to the cash register and paid for their items, successfully walking out of the packed store.
"Okay, now what?" Maddie asked, voice back to normal.
"We go home and put you in this and add everything for tomorrow! Do you plan on seeing Alfred before then, besides at school?"
"I think he said something about coming by for dinner tonight. I think he said about seven was when he was coming over."
"Hmm... That gives us..." he looked at his watch, "two and a half hours. That should be enough time."
"Okay."
"Shall we go home and finish this dress?" he offered smiling.
"We shall!" she answered smiling.
Heyoo! Just a little heads up, the chapters from here out are going to be on the short side so sorry about that. Anywho, Claire's is an actual store in Glennbrook Mall, and that is EXACTLY what happens every time I set foot in Claire's only much, much worse. It's crazy! They usually have different themes in the shop like around Halloween, it's Halloween themed, and Christmas is Christmas themed and so on but it's always a crazy house there. That's why I tend to stay away from it. That, and it's so small! With as many little girls there are running around inside it, you'd think it'd be bigger, but it's not. Anywho! We hoped you liked it and until next time! Peace~! ~Love-Peace-Anime
Cardfighter By Heart: Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Can I come? Please, please, please, please, /pleeaase/? Nah, but it would be fun to go shopping with Feliks :D Thanks for the review!
