"How's Selina?" Klaus asked Amy. "I told Elijah she was here, of course, and he ordered me to bring her home, but in the state she's in, do you think that's the best idea?"
"I wouldn't think so," Amy shook her head. "I know it will upset your brother, but she can barely move. I don't know why Roxie let her drink that much."
Klaus chuckled. "Of course you don't," he said. "But it's completely believable to me that she would. When Selina wakes up, would you let me know?"
"Why?" Amy asked.
"Marcel wants to meet her," He replied.
"Do you really think this is the best time for that?" Amy asked. "She's not well."
"The meeting Marcel had with James and Lenora was horrible for him," Klaus replied. "I think he deserves some sort of reward for getting through it."
"So you're gonna introduce him to your sick ex-wife?" Amy asked, then said dryly, "that is the best reward ever."
"Well, you're a witch, so you wouldn't really understand, but Selina's kind of notorious in the vampire community and-"
"I was around in the twenties, Klaus," Amy reminded him. "I'm really not as young as I look. I heard about Selina during her Lonely Heart period, and honestly, I don't think it's a good idea to bring that up. What's the point?"
"I'm not trying to resurrect her dark side," Klaus replied. "I'm just introducing Marcel to her. That's it."
Amy sighed as he went and got Marcel. Selina acted as if Elijah were some horrible influence, but in her opinion, Klaus was a worse one.
Klaus literally sat by Selina's bedroom door, waiting for her to get up. When she did, he ran and got Marcel. "Hey, you know how you said you wanted to meet Lonely Heart?" He asked.
"Well, yes," Marcel nodded, standing up. "What about it?"
"She's here right now," Klaus replied. "I can take you to meet her if you want."
"Sure," Marcel replied. "Why not?"
Klaus led him to Selina's room and opened the door. They strode in, and Marcel's face changed as he heard the sound of retching from behind the closed bathroom door. "What's going on in there?" He asked.
"She's had a bit much to drink," Klaus replied. "But she'll probably be out here in a second." He was correct. When the bathroom door opened, Marcel found himself face to face with a surprised, pale, and underwhelming looking woman. "Are you sure this is her?" He asked.
"Yes," Klaus nodded. "I'm positive. Selina, this is my friend Marcel."
"Well, hello," Selina replied and then gagged, leaning over the toilet as Klaus came to hold back her hair. "I had a couple shots too many. Normally, I don't look like this."
"Well, I assumed that," Marcel replied. "I mean, being one of the most infamous vampires in the world, you probably didn't spend a lot of time with your head over a toilet."
"Don't bet on that," Klaus replied.
"Shut up, Nicky," Selina said flatly.
"Ouch," Klaus replied with a grin and stepped away. "Just a short time with me and already you're reverting to your bad ways. Elijah will be so disappointed."
Selina scoffed. "Honestly, I don't really care," she said. "Now would the two of you kindly go away so I can be sick in peace?" Then she looked at Marcel contritely. "No offense," she said. "It's really nice to meet you and everything. I just feel awful."
"I get it," Marcel nodded and turned to go. Klaus sighed and went after him, shutting the bathroom door.
"You weren't picking on Selina too much, were you?" Amy asked Klaus when she saw him and Marcel coming down the stairs.
"No, not too much," Klaus replied.
"Good," Amy nodded. "She'll stay the rest of the day and the night and then I'll take her back to Elijah tomorrow."
"Well, good luck getting her to go," Klaus replied. "Something's happened between them that isn't good. Do you think if I asked him, Elijah would tell me about it?"
"You shouldn't do that," Amy replied. "It's none of your business."
"Well, you're in a bad mood today," Klaus replied, playing with her hair. "What's the matter? Are you jealous having Selina in the house?"
"No," Amy scoffed. "That's the last thing I am. I consider Selina to be a good friend. That she's your ex-wife doesn't matter at all to me. But when people are vulnerable, the first thing to do is not to jump on them and bleed them dry, either literally or metaphorically."
"Why not?" Klaus asked. "It's how I've lived my whole life."
"Well, I don't know if you can afford to be like that anymore," Amy replied as Savannah came into the room. "Don't you want to be a good example to your daughter?"
"For fuck's sake, Amy," Klaus replied, ignoring Savannah's widened eyes at the bad word. "I wasn't thinking of killing Selina or anything. I just want to know what's going on with my brother and my ex wife so I can help them in their moments of pain. How is that wrong?"
"Cause you don't want to help anyone," Amy replied. "You just want to meddle."
"What are we talking about?" Savannah asked.
"Your aunt Selina is sick upstairs," Klaus told his daughter. "And Mommy thinks I'm bothering her."
"She is?" Savannah asked and ran toward the stairs. Between the fact that her mother and Selina were good friends, and the fact that she was married to Elijah, Savannah and Selina had grown close as the little girl had gotten bigger.
"Stop!" Amy replied, popping in front of the stairway, blocking it. "You won't go upstairs. We should just let Selina rest. Besides, Aunt Margot and Uncle Kol are coming with Regina. Won't that be fun?"
"No," Savannah replied, her head hanging as she turned away from the stairs. "Daddy, can we leave?" She asked, clutching her father's arm. "I don't want to see Regina!"
"Well, it won't be a long visit, darling," Klaus told her. "Just be patient and hang in there."
Savannah sighed. "All right. I will."
She was still pouting as the doorbell rang and Margot, Kol, and Regina came in the house.
"This'll be the perfect time to see if you can put the things we talked about into practice," Amy told her, greeting their guests as they went in the living room. Savannah and Regina gave each other a look and went to separate parts of the room, but as she walked away, Regina threw something in Savannah's direction and it hit Savannah in the back.
"She throwed something at me!" Savannah yelled.
"Well, why don't you see what it is?" Amy suggested.
Reluctantly, Savannah turned and saw a small stuffed unicorn on the floor and picked it up. "Is this for me?"
"Daddy won it for me at the 'musement park," Regina said. "And I want you to have it."
"Isn't that nice?" Amy asked her daughter.
"What do you say?" Klaus added.
"Th-th-thank you for the toy," Savannah managed to choke out, then looked as if her parents had made her say a bad word.
"You're welcome," Regina replied. "Now will you go get me some juice?"
"No, I won't," Savannah replied, catching her mother's eye. "It's not my job. Ask someone else."
"I'll get it," Margot said, standing up before Regina could protest. "What kind of juice do you want, sweetie?"
"Apple, please," Regina replied.
"Do you have apple?" Margot asked Amy.
"Yes," Amy replied. "We do."
Margot went and got Regina her juice, and as she sat down to drink it, Selina came downstairs.
"Sorry," she said, looking round at all of them. "Am I interrupting something?" She wore sweat pants and a tank top she'd borrowed from Amy, and her hair wasn't brushed.
They all stared at her for a little while, and then Savannah was the first one to stand up. "Are you okay?" She asked as she came to hug Selina.
"Don't squeeze too tight," Selina told her. "I'm still feeling a tad bit yucky." She paused. "I just...I need some toast."
"I'll do it!" Savannah yelled and zapped up some toast.
"How come you get her stuff but not me?" Regina asked.
"Cause she's nice!" Savannah said.
"Thank you," Selina replied and patted Savannah's head before going back to her room.
"Who was that?" Regina asked.
"Aunt Selina!" Savannah replied.
"Oh," Regina nodded. "Aunt Selina."
"Not your aunt Selina," Savannah corrected. "Mine!"
"Okay!" Amy cried, clapping her hands, and looking between Savannah and Regina. "What do we have to do in order for the two of you to get along? Or at least be civil to each other?"
"Make her go home!" Savannah replied. "Or better yet..." She waved her hand and Regina turned into a puppy. "There you go!" She said. "That's better." But she was shocked when her mother turned Regina back.
"Hey!" She yelled. "You can't do that, Mommy!"
"Obviously, I can," Amy replied. "Now, go to your room."
"Can I go see Aunt Selina instead?" Savannah asked.
"No," Amy shook her head. "Go to your room."
Savannah stomped off and Amy looked at Margot and Kol apologetically. "Sorry about that," she said. "I guess next time you two come over here, you shouldn't bring Regina with you."
"It's all right," Margot told her sister. "Don't worry about it. We'll leave her with Helene. She gets along better with Liam anyway."
With Savannah in her room, the rest of the visit went a lot smoother. When it was time for Kol and Margot to take Regina home, Klaus said to Kol, "Sorry about what Savannah did to Margot."
Kol nodded. "Lucky she's your daughter. Otherwise I would have killed her."
